Alright! Time to start getting into more of my Mushroom Mythos world! Starting with the deities and then I’ll get into the peoples/guardians/creatures! I’ll only do one of these a day as a heads up! Before I get into these, first and foremost, all of these creatures and deities are genderless and use they/them/it/its pronouns. Titles may be gendered but actual pronouns are not.

This is Mother Mycelline, the creator and bringer of death, essentially the cycle of life. It is thanks to them that the world was given life as they created the other deities who keep the land in working order. 

After such they grew weak, so weak that Neocal feared for their safety and took the Great Mother underground where they would be safe. 

No one has heard from Mycelline since, but occasionally someone in the world will be afflicted by their spore, causing their body to appear to be rotting.
