Magical Oil Recipes - Glamour Edition

For anyone looking to brew up some magic related to glamours, confidence, physical appearance, or eloquence, here are some recipes I’ve created that you might find useful.
To prepare them, blend the ingredients in such proportions as feels correct for your purposes (or as supplies allow). Use dried material except where indicated. Place a few spoonfuls in a mason jar with a screwtop lid and fill the jar with a bland oil of your choice. (Vegetable oil of the sort you would buy for cooking works fine.) Screw the lid on tightly and shake well to combine, then leave the jar in a dark dry place for 2-4 weeks to steep.
Once steeped, prepare a clean storage bottle (also with a secure lid) and label with the type of oil and the bottling date. Strain the oil through paper towels or cheesecloth to remove the plant material, then bottle immediately. Store away from sunlight and heat for up to one year. Use for spellwork as you see fit.
(Please note that NONE of these potions are meant to be taken internally by any means. Observe all proper safety measures related to glass, fire, and potentially harmful plants as necessary during preparation.)

spell jars 101 ✧

how to craft a spell jar:
cleanse your jar
gather your ingredients
charge and program them, and then add them to the jar
close and seal with wax, ribbon, string, etc. to finalize and cast the spell
decorate your jar however you'd like, or not at all - up to you
what you can use as a jar:
tiny glass jars with cork lids
mason jars
pickle/pasta sauce jars
old medication bottles
food storage containers
bead storage tubes
what you can add to a spell jar:
dried herbs
dried citrus peels
dried flowers
magical powders
small crystals
gem chips
essential oils (a drop or two will go a long way)
infused oils (carrier oils such as olive or grapeseed oil that have been infused with herbs)
a few drops of charged water (storm water, war water, sea water, holy water, rain water, moon water, sun water, etc.)
paper (with sigils/symbols/glyphs drawn on it, an incantation, a name, a phrase, etc.)
coins
beads
glitter or confetti
seashells/shark teeth/sand, etc.
leaves/acorns/sticks/bark/moss
animal fur, nail clippings, teeth, or whiskers that have fallen out naturally (if i catch you trying to pull out your pet's whiskers or fur, i will fight you)
nails, glass, pins, needles, thorns, and other sharp objects (great for cursing, binding, banishing, or protection)
vinegar, lemon juice, pickle juice (mostly for “souring” a situation)
honey, sugar, syrup (to “sweeten” a situation or for attraction)
pretty much anything that fits and corresponds to your intent
what you should avoid putting in a spell jar:
unless your intent correlates with the contents of the jar spoiling or going bad - don't use anything biological in nature (think bodily fluids), don't use fresh produce or herbs, and be mindful of water content inside the jar. you don't want a moldy, biohazardous mess on your hands (unless you do, then that's cool, too).
what spell jars are good for:
containing your spell, theoretically making it easier to manipulate and control
manifesting goals/intentions continuously or over time
passive manifestation that doesn’t require much ongoing participation from the caster but is subject to regular maintenance
what to do with your spell jar once it’s been crafted:
keep it on your altar
keep it in an area that's appropriate for goal manifestation (for glamours, keep it in the bathroom; for sleep or dreams, keep it in the bedroom; for safe travels, keep it in your vehicle; for cursing, keep it concealed in a black box; etc.)
wear it as jewelry
put it in your pocket, purse, or backpack
bury it in your backyard or within a potted plant outside (for spells you don’t plan to undo or want to last indefinitely) - if burying is not an option, hide it somewhere on your property
leave it at a crossroads
recharging spell jars:
shake it up
light a candle on top of or next to it
submerge it in a bath of herbs or crystals that are associated with energy
submerge or surround with sea salt (a natural conductor of energy)
anoint with oil/blessed or charged water
pair with a tarot card or rune stone that matches your intent
suffumigate with incense smoke
energy work and visualization
disposing of and reversing spell jars - when you feel like the spell has done its job or you need to undo its effects:
remove the contents from the jar and either destroy them, bury them, or throw them away
for items you wish to save, cleanse them thoroughly before using them again
take the jar and cleanse it in whatever manner you choose and either save it to be reused; or dispose of it safely

Unend Departure Dinner
Celebrating the maiden voyage of the Ship
Courtesy of Chef Quino Del Belsaban (chef) and sous-chefs Voro and Mikelord
We will tonight celebrate the commencement of the journey, and it’s our pleasure this evening to treat you all to a very special and unique singular meal, compliments of the Cosmological Consortium’s Highest Light subcommittee.

We begin with ephemera of mineralflower enclosing lavenderwater-infused mirrorhawk mousse, dusted with riftgrass pollen, nestled on a sprouted microbloom tuft, crowned with edible Serapha Nebulaflorum.

And of course our signature cocktail tonight the Aurora Prismatica, exquisite Empyrean lavender and silk cordial, layered with zephyr of eldermanflower, misted with Alpinian plume of Verdure and lightly smoked with charcoal of Sequestrian hacklethorn. I personally recommend you enjoy it on the rocks – perhaps unorthodox, but just trust us on this one.

Buloga pearl caviar tartare, accompanied by shaved roast of sloe, crowned with frosted Ebonreef truffle, drizzled with 100-traversal-aged prang syrup and garnished with chinchona leaf. Enjoy.

The palate-cleansing salad is up next. My friends, a medley of crisp frisée, tender mini prunus hearts, and heirloom rubus misted with essence of blackened citrus of elderthief, sprinkled with delicious and nutritious high-altitude breadmoss and garnished with greens from the gardens of Gloria. Please enjoy.

Our main entree, my friends: sovereign spice-seared filet of Vildefeluvian lake grouper, ladled with reduction of burk buranah, brushed with crushed pistachio and golden salt, served atop a bed of rare black macrograin sourced from the marshes of Ackute. Dig in.

Miravette Reserve, an aromatic honeylight wine from the Highest Light? Quite delicate, notes of straw and almond, very well-balanced, very intriguing

And for our grand finale, exquisite bombe of blonded and blued chocolate mother-of-mica, encased in a delicate wind-woven sugar dome, decorated with self-caramelizing tufted sugar frond, rosewater foam, and edible silverleaf confetti, and finished of course with a touch of our most rare and fine melt-velvet orchid extract. It’s been our pleasure to serve you this evening everyone. Thank you so much.
Ingredients (by request)
Hors d'oeuvre (Un inspired)

lychee mogu mogu drink(as base silk cordial - can be blended smooth if needed), strong chilled butterfly pea flower tea (as lavender cordial - spoon gently over appears lavender/indigo in basic conditions)
Zephyr of eldermanflower - small amount of Plum Soju spooned gently on top (mildly acidic, turns top of butterfly tea magenta/violet) substitute a tiny amount of white peach or other clear fruit juice of your choice for a non-alcohol version
Alpinian plume of Verdure - Blossoming heather sprig)
Charcoal of Sequestrian hacklethorn - torched cinnamon (not recommended, maybe a cherry wood? smoking not essential for how sweet and floral this cocktail is)
On the rocks - giant ice cubes
Appetizer (Fold inspired)
Buloga pearl caviar tartare - chia caviar with butterfly-tea dyed tapioca pearls served on a base of crème fraîche (alternatively could try black lumpfish caviar too, if available)
Shaved roast of sloe - if sloe = slow thinly shaved oil and sea-salt roast purple potato, if sloe = the gin plum, sliced and roasted umeboshi red plum for garnish (both plum and potato used)
Frosted Ebonreef truffle - crunchy dried shiitake snack mushroom frosted with silver edible mica glitter,
100-traversal-aged prang syrup - balsamic vinegar, fresh raspberry and apricot jam reduction with a touch of soy sauce (strained)

Reduction of burk buranah - supposed to be a cab-sav beurre blanc, but used a Béarnaise instead

Hearth & Home Witchcraft That I've Learned
One of the biggest things that stands out to me when reading about hearth & home witchery is that everyday items are considered magical. Everyday moments, tasks, and chores as well. Its a beautiful way to live, if you really think about it. Big rituals are great, but as someone who is disabled, they rarely are doable. Here is a list of Hearth & Home Witchcraft Tips that i actually practice.
-Enchant a blanket by embroidering a sigil in the corner and using its color correspondences for your needs. It also helps me feel shielded from negative energy during meditation.
-Play music that makes you feel safe and AT HOME. This is almost like grounding, but also can be cleansing to the environment and especially the listeners. For me, its smooth jazz. The chill sound of the standup bass and the wandering piano notes that always seem to find their way to a comfortable key... its soothing to my soul.
-Talk to and about your home (kindly). So often its easy to complain about your living space. How you wish it looked or functioned differently. The house (in my belief) hears you. Treat it with kindness and gratitude for the shelter it provides. I say thank you to the house spirits and my home every morning.
-Find a convenient home protection ritual to do each month. I say convenient because if you overcomplicate things you'll feel less enthusiastic and less motivated to do it, and might even skip several months.
-Make a home cleansing spray using essential oils mixed with an appropriate amount of moon water. I like using a few drops of lemon, rosemary, lavender, and cinnamon. DO NOT spray this in the vicinity of your pets. I only use this spray in rooms where there arent any animals, to avoid complications with their health.
-Wash your bedding as often as you can and say a short incantation before you put it in the wash. It could go something like this. "I cleanse this bedding of all negative energy, from bad dreams, and from and all stress." Sleep is so important to your sense of safety and wellbeing at home.
-Open the damn windows when you can! Stagnant energy is known for dragging down people's moods. And there's nothing quite as uplifting as fresh air. This provides a healthy flow to your house's energy.
-Don't bring things in your home unless you want to incorporate their energy into your environment. This is something that's often overlooked. I especially advise heavy consideration when it comes to thrifting items and bringing them home. Try practicing sensing the energy of items so you can easily tell whats good to bring home and whats not. Thrifting is great! Im not discouraging it btw.
-Fresh flowers work miracles. Not only do they aesthetically brighten the room, but their correspondences and magical properties apply to the room that they're in. Sunflowers are a great example of a flower that encourages positivity, and are extremely affordable to get lots of them. Roses are a bit more expensive usually, but they invite that loving vibe. And African irises are great for psychic enhancement.
Thats all for this post! Reblog it if you found it helpful, or have any of your own cool practices for hearth & home witchcraft to share!

More Writing Notes: Cocktails
Traditionally, a cocktail (or a mixed drink) is a beverage that contains a mixture of alcoholic spirits combined with other ingredients, such as simple syrups, tonics, bitters, fruit juice, club soda, or other fizzy waters.
Today you can also find a variety of nonalcoholic spritz cocktails that combine alcohol-free spirits with mixer ingredients.
6 Mixology Tools
Bar spoon: long-handled spoon that makes it easy to stir drinks in tall glasses or pitchers.
Citrus juicer: extracts juice from citrus fruits and vegetables by shredding the flesh of the food item.
Cocktail glasses: there are several different shapes of cocktail glasses, and each corresponds to a different type of mixed drink.
Cocktail shaker: A shaker is a tall container (usually metal) that makes it easy for bartenders to shake crushed ice and cocktail ingredients together to quickly cool down the beverage.
Cocktail strainer: The strainer fits over the shaker and lets you pour the cocktail into the glass while leaving behind the ice and any other ingredients, like herbs, that you used to shake the cocktail.
Muddler: When a cocktail recipe includes directions to muddle ingredients, usually fruit or herbs, it means to smash them to release the essential oils and fruit pulp. A muddler is a small handheld rod that lets you easily muddle ingredients in a cocktail glass.
Some Popular Cocktails
Bloody Mary: This classic brunch cocktail contains vodka mixed with tomato juice, horseradish, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, and a combination of herbs and spices. Bartenders typically serve a Bloody Mary in a tall glass, such as a pint glass or highball glass, and garnish with a celery stick.
Daiquiri: One of the classic rum cocktails, a daiquiri contains rum (white rum or Cuban rum), lime juice, and simple syrup. Today’s drink menus typically contain a variety of daiquiris that range from classic cocktails like the Hemingway Daiquiri (which contains lime juice, grapefruit juice, and Italian maraschino liqueur) to fruity cocktails like a shaken strawberry daiquiri.
Gimlet: Contains three ingredients: vodka (or gin), fresh lime juice, a splash of simple syrup for added sweetness, and an optional lime wedge for garnish.
Manhattan: Containing whiskey (or sometimes cognac), sweet vermouth, and a few dashes of bitters, the Manhattan is a simple yet elegant cocktail. The classic cocktail, which was invented in New York, is stirred, not shaken, and garnished with a maraschino cherry.
Margarita: There are several variations of margarita recipes. The classic margarita is served over ice cubes and contains lime juice, tequila (or mezcal), orange liqueur (such as Cointreau or triple sec), and lime and salt for the garnish. Experiment with other flavors—use lemon juice instead of lime, add a dash of agave syrup to sweeten the drink, or add a hint of spice with the addition of a few slices of jalapeño. For those who prefer fruit flavors, try making a watermelon, pomegranate, or strawberry margarita.
Martini: The classic martini is a boozy cocktail. The original contained three parts gin to one part vermouth with an olive or onion to garnish. A vodka martini calls for vodka in place of gin. Other drinks—such as an espresso martini, fruity drinks, or vodka cocktails like a cosmopolitan (often called a Cosmo), pear, or apple martini (also called an appletini)—are not considered martinis. Instead, they get their name from the cocktail glass.
Mint julep: Famous as the refreshing cocktail served at the Kentucky Derby horse racing events, a mint julep contains bourbon, simple syrup, and a muddle of mint. It’s typically served over crushed ice with a sprig of mint leaves.
Mojito: A highball cocktail with origins in Cuba, the mojito is a popular cocktail across the globe. Mix up white rum, sugar, mint, lime, and club soda (or soda water), and then add ice. The mojito is often called a perfect summer cocktail.
Moscow mule: Contrary to its name, the Moscow mule cocktail likely originated in New York, not the Russian capital. To make the fizzy drink combine vodka, ginger beer, and lime juice, and garnish with lime slices and sprigs of mint. It’s usually served in a copper mug, though food experts note the copper does not impact the flavor of the drink.
Negroni: With its balance of sweet and bitter, a classic Negroni is an ideal apéritif. Combine equal parts gin, Campari (or Aperol), and sweet vermouth. Shake them with ice and serve the drink with an orange twist. Other varieties of Negronis add additional layers of flavors using ingredients such as orange bitters, Champagne or prosecco, and a lime or lemon twist.
Piña colada: This favorite summer cocktail, which reportedly originated in San Juan, Puerto Rico, is traditionally made with white rum, pineapple juice, cream of coconut, and a squeeze of lime juice, and served with fresh pineapple for garnish. Blend the ingredients with ice cubes to create a slushie drink.
Tequila Sunrise: With only three ingredients, fresh orange juice, tequila, and grenadine syrup, the Tequila Sunrise tastes best when you use high-quality ingredients. White tequila is recommended for a fresher taste and a more vibrant color. You can make a variation of the cocktail called the Coconut Sunrise, which uses coconut rum instead of tequila.

🍇🦄📨🌈 hi :] can you help me n my homeless family?
hey y'all 👋 it's your friendly neighborhood homeless girlguy with xer Mom and younger brother. we're homeless and live in a motel, and saw a bedbug the other day. they won't spray until our clothes are washed, we buy bins, and we get rid of our cardboard boxes and plastic bags we use to hold our stuff... I also want to buy my own bedbug covers since the motel doesn't always have them. or clean sheets and blankets. or pillows. or pillow cases >_>;; I want to buy my own sheets and pillows and pillowcases and such so we don't have to take the motel's pillows and blankets from room to room
the thing is! we have like.... $50 for the entire rest of the month, and that's our meager food budget
we need money to do all of the above to even get our room sprayed. I've managed to keep ourselves safe n keeping them away with essential oils (protip: peppermint, lavender, cedar, lemon grass, and TEA TREE. most bugs cannot stand these smells, esp bloodsuckers)
can anyone help us with $ or sharing this around, reblogging? I'd really appreciate it. even $5 helps. I'm setting a goal for $250, for bins delivered to us via instacart (no car), bedbug covers and new sheets and such, food the rest of the month, and any extra would be going towards new clothes I and my family DESPERATELY need, as well as nonfood essentials
pay of pal (deadname attached) is here, paypal.me/connermar

Elminx's Long-Form Lemonade for Sweet Cleansing
If you've been hanging out for more than a hot minute, you have probably caught on to a secret about my kitchen witching: it's not the NUMBER of ingredients you enchant; it's how you enchant them. For the purposes of witching, I prefer simple recipes (ingredient-wise) that have a bit of oomph to them. Do you need to stir a pot for 45 minutes straight? (see also my french onion soup recipe) What about starting a vinegar infusion that needs to be shaken every day?
This, as the saying goes, is where the magic is made. At least, for me.
So, imagine my surprise when my friends introduced me to a long-form way of making lemonade. Rather than simply juicing the lemons and adding some sugar and water - you combine the sugar and lemon peels and let them sit for some time to release the lemon's essential oils.
Not only does it make a superior lemonade (can confirm!), but it immediately had my magic wheels turning.
The goal is to make lemonade that will sweetly cleanse you of what ails you. This spell can easily be adapted to add specifiers—see the end of this post for more details.
As always, I will not tell you how to do YOUR magic. This is a technique, not a magic tutorial.
The Basics: When Life Gives You Lemons
Lemons have a long history of use as a cleansing agent. Cunningham's infamous green book lists them as a feminine plant, under the purview of water and the moon and used for the powers of "longevity, purification, love, friendship." (for what that's worth) From an herbal energetic perspective - lemons are considered to be cooling - they are used in the summer to cool hot termperatures and applied to the sick to help bring down fevers. Citric acid is also a bladder stimulant, which we will be making use of for the purposes of our potion-making.
What we associate with lemon as the "cleaning agent" is believed to come from limonene, a terpene found in the peels of most citrus fruits that is both antiviral and antibacterial. Lemonene is used in many cleaners that you can buy on the market but can also be extracted directly from the fruit, as we will do in this recipe.
The Technique
This standard high-end bartender technique makes wonderful, complex sour mixes that can absolutely make the perfect cocktail. Rather than extracting the limonene from the citrus using alcohol or vinegar, we use sugar.
This technique is called oleo-saccharum, which means "oil-sugar" - you are using sugar to draw the essential oils out of the lemon peels, making a natural (no heat) syrup. Note here: this syrup can be used on its own for all sorts of syrupy needs - you could stop the preparation here if you don't love lemonade.
This can be done on the fly (an hour or so), but I highly suggest letting this sit for 12-24 hours for the full effect.
The Recipe
You will need:
5-6 lemons, the best-looking ones you can find
1 1/4 cups sugar
Filter Water (to taste)
Peeler, citrus juicer, optional
Additional magical flavoring, optional
Become better acquainted with your lemons. For the purposes of this recipe, I do this by holding them, talking to them about what I want from them (general or specific cleansing), and rolling them across a hard surface. This last part helps to separate the peel from the pith, which will help you cut away the peel in the next step. Because we intentionally try to release the limonene compounds in this recipe, you may wish to begin by carving your lemon at this step (BEFORE you peel). You could carve your intentions, your name, the names of the people you are looking to cleanse, or any cleansing runes or sigils that you use in your craft.
Carefully peel your lemon. You want to get as little pith (white parts) as possible, as they don't taste good. Take your time here. Really breathe in the scents of the lemon during this. This is the first part of the cleansing process - you are incidentally cleaning yourself and your kitchen as you do this part of the spell. Lean into this. It smells amazing. Revel in it. Think about how it reminds you of everything being shiny and clean as a child. Lemons ARE cleansing - really feel into this here. We won't use the rest of the lemon until tomorrow; you can juice it here or store it overnight in an air-tight container)
Add your lemon peels and the sugar to a mixing bowl and thoroughly massage the sugar into the lemon peels. This should take some time - think fives of minutes at least. You want to do this until you can feel the change in consistency in the sugar - try to incorporate all of the sugar with all of the lemons. Remember, sugar is inherently sweetening, and lemons are inherently cleansing - you combine these two elements here to make a sweet, cleansing spell. Let the smell of it clean out your nose and your sinuses. This is the meat of your spellcasting - you are working your spell into your ingredients. Talk to it. Use your energy. Pray over it. You will know when this step is complete.
Cover your bowl and let it sit at room temperature overnight or for up to 24 hours. The longer this extracts, the more intense the flavor in the finished product. In a pinch, give it an hour, but I suggest waiting at least 8-10 for the best effect.
The next morning, add 2 cups boiling water to your lemon paste and stir until it has thoroughly combined - this is a great place to reinforce your magic from the day beforehand. (This version had the addition of some freshly picked sour cherries which gives its red color)

6. When this has cooled, add the lemon juice and additional water to taste. I personally put this in a half-gallon ball jar and filled it with water, and then my partner and I further diluted it from there.
7. Drink and enjoy. For an extra cleansing effect, consider that part of the act of citrus is that of a urinary stimulant - it will make you pee. Think about how peeing removes things from your life. Remove what needs cleansing. Your spell is complete.
This spell is as simple as that but it can be dressed up in some many different outfits with very little effort. Do you know a flavor (remember, all edibles here) with the right magic associations to add to this spell?
Add some blackberries at the infusion stage for good old-fashioned hedge witch protection. If you really need something out, you could experiment with infusing some jalapeno after you've made the lemonade (tread with a lot of care here...). I've worked with lavender and hibiscus here for calming, cool energies. I recently added a cup of sour cherries to Step 3 for a love-cleansing effect.
There are two ways you can add flavors to this spell: you can mix your flavor in during the sugaring phase, or you can do a secondary infusion after your lemonade has been made. Use your best judgment here - fruits can go in with the citrus peels for sure, but herbs and other more "tea like" ingredients might be better steeped afterward.
I haven't tried it yet, but I'm eager to use some of my savory kitchen herbs the next time I near to clear out my money flows.
Or alternatively, use it as the first step in a witchy cocktail (my go-to, as you know). This lemonade makes an exquisite base for a margarita—for a bougie twist, use white Patron and some Chambord; you will not be disappointed.
This is almost a blank slate - sweet cleansing could be used for anything you put your mind to.
Do you like my work? You can support me over on Kofi by tipping me, ordering an astrology commission, buying some art, or signing up to be a monthly supporter of my work.

ghost x soap
Of course it's fucking raining now that Soap and Ghost finally on leave. Sure, it's not unusual Scottish weather (they're staying in Johnny's small flat in Glasgow), and it's not like they were gonna do much today anyway, but still. It has them waking up in an already lazy mood, Simon shuffling to cuddle into his boyfriend closer and groaning.
The bed is too comfy and warm to get up, and Si doesn't want to move away from Soap's sleepy embrace. They're both conscious, quietly making incoherent noises of complaint at that fact back and forth at each other. Eventually, Johnny presses his lips to Ghost's forehead and rolls them over, sitting up on Simon's stomach to look out the window like a curious rabbit, then leaning down and littering his unmasked face with pecked kisses.
Simon laughs, running his hands through Soap's mohawk. Raindrops patter against the window as he flips them over again, hugging Soap tight then sitting up opposite him, pulling on a pair of comfy military-issued socks and one of his hoodies. The Sergeant sits up too, also pulling on one of Si's hoodies, and much fluffier socks with little skull prints all over them that Gaz had bought him as a gag gift which he ended up adoring.
"Mornin', love," Soap smiles, voice deep and groggy as he leans forward to rest his head on Ghost's chest, who hums in response and nuzzles his cheek against his hair. After a couple moments just sitting like that, the two reluctantly flop out of bed, padding their way over to the tiny kitchen before realising they barely have a scrap of food in the flat, only just having a few general ingredients and a small selection of tea and coffee.
Simon groans again, scanning the fridge as if something new is about to spawn in, before turning around, picking his boyfriend up and setting him on a counter, then passing him flour, eggs, milk and some oil, and getting out a frying pan for the stove.
"What're we making?" the shorter man asks, swinging his legs and playfully kicking Ghost whenever he gets in range.
"Secret," is the only reply he gets, but it's quickly obvious by the way Si mixes some flour, milk and two eggs together, creating a thin batter which he splashes into the pan, just about remembering to put oil in first so as to not completely fuck it all up. Then Chef Riley takes charge, and suddenly Johnny is being bossed around, ordered to get plates and get cutlery and cut up a lemon and put some caster sugar in a small bowl and set it out all pretty on the tiny dining table. In his own home, he complains lightheartedly.
The first pancake served is happily accepted by the Scot along with a quick kiss. The shit weather had only gotten worse, but that meant a perfect background noise for them to eat (although it did make conversation a little difficult). Once the batter is all used up, Ghost puts Soap on washing up duty, whilst he dries and puts everything away. And then it's essential to curl up on the sofa together, wrapped in one of Johnny's blankets, watching a randomly-selected war film and criticising even the slightest inaccuracies to make each other laugh.

Use oils like frankincense, rosemary, or lemon to clear negative energy and cleanse your aura or sacred space.
🧘♀️ 2. Meditation & Spiritual Focus
Lavender, sandalwood, and patchouli are perfect for grounding, enhancing meditation, and inviting spiritual awareness.
💗 3. Emotional Healing
Oils like rose, ylang-ylang, and chamomile soothe the heart, ease emotional wounds, and bring inner calm.
🛡 4. Protection & Banishing
Ward off negativity with rosemary, black pepper, or juniper. These oils help shield your energy and banish bad vibes.
💰 5. Manifestation & Abundance
Use cinnamon, clove, or ginger when doing spells to attract money, success, or new opportunities.
🔮 6. Divination & Psychic Awareness
Frankincense, mugwort, and myrrh enhance your intuition and help you connect more deeply during tarot or scrying sessions.
⚠️ Note: Always dilute essential oils with a carrier oil, avoid contact with eyes or broken skin, and do your research—especially if you’re pregnant, have pets, or health conditions. Essential oils are magical complements, not replacements for medical care.

working out shouldn't feel like punishment:
cardio but make it dreamy:
- create specific playlists for different exercises (my running playlist is a mixture of twice, red velvet, newjeans, ariana grande, sabrina carpenter and more)
- pretend you're in a music video
- use the stairmaster while imagining you're climbing to your castle
- make up stories while on the treadmill
- treat the gym mirror like a montage moment
- walk on incline while reading your kindle (romantic novels only!)
strength training with intention:
- name your exercises after your goals (i call squats "princess posture")
- count reps in a different language
- imagine each movement sculpting your dream self
- take aesthetic progress photos
- write down your achievements in sparkly pen
- celebrate every tiny improvement
♡ the dreamiest shower prep ever
transform your bathroom into a spa:
setting the mood:
- dim the lights or use fairy lights
- light your favorite candles (i use vanilla + rose)
- put on a shower playlist (mine is called "water fairy")
- lay out fluffy towels in a pretty way
- prepare your skincare lineup aesthetically
- set up your bathrobe like a hotel would
shower cart organization:
- decant products into pretty bottles
- organize by color scheme
- add eucalyptus bundles for spa vibes
- keep dried flowers nearby
- use a cute shower speaker
- have crystal clusters on display
♡ the actual shower routine
make it feel like luxury:
pre-shower ritual:
- dry brush in circular motions (feels so fancy!)
- do a quick stretch sequence
- take down your hair
- remove jewelry
- set intentions for your shower
- spritz favorite scent in the air
shower steps (in order!):
- start with scalp massage (pretend you're at a fancy salon)
- use shower oil before water (game changer!)
- alternate water temperatures (cold rinse for main character energy)
- apply hair mask while doing other steps
- use body scrub in circular motions
- end with a rose water face mist
♡ post-shower glow routine
the magic continues:
immediate after care:
- pat (don't rub!) with fluffy towel
- wrap hair in silk towel
- apply body oil while skin is damp
- do facial massage with rose quartz
- put on silky robe
- sip water with lemon
final touches:
- apply matching scented lotion
- do light stretches
- journal gratitude thoughts
- take a glowy selfie
- put on soft music
- enjoy your self-care high
♡ making it sustainable
consistency is key:
planning tips:
- prep everything the night before
- set specific workout + shower times
- create a weekly schedule
- plan outfits in advance
- maintain your products organized
- keep backup supplies ready
motivation tricks:
- take before/after selfies
- document your routine
- share progress (even privately)
- reward consistency
- create seasonal variations
- switch up scents monthly
working out and showering doesn't have to feel like a chore! it's all about creating moments that make you feel like the main character in your own romantic movie.
i know this might seem extra (because it totally is!), but these little details make such a difference in how you feel about yourself and your routine.
xoxo,
mindy 🎀

pro tip: put a cotton ball or cotton swab with 15 drops of essential oil at the bottom of your trash can (before you put the bag in) to help deodorize it and keep it from getting stinky. I usually use a blend of cinnamon and orange or orange and lemon.

EXTRA NOTES .... 📜
Apollo is a Greek deity. This means many ancient things are sacred to him, as well as new and changing things. He's a god of music, poetry, knowledge, herbal medicine, healing, and the sun. But this does not limit him-- worship Apollo in your own ways, too!
