Alright so I was planning on uploading a timeline for awhile now and originally had just written it but then I started doodling the expressions seen in this picture and decided to use those. To explain the fallen timeline is the "True" timeline for my AU which is why it goes to the end as seen. I also tried to label the connections between different characters which are further explained in their Character Reference Links.

As for the red areas behind some of the Links I wanted to make a visual of which points in the timeline are connected through Hyrule Warriors, I'm debating on adding Shade but I'll worry about that later.

Below the cut I have a page of just the expressions which should hopefully be easier to zoom in on as well as the Expressions Meme that I used for reference.

Imagining how P03 will be having a tender moment with his partner, but the only way it expresses its vulnerability is through subtle body language. The way he seems to so seamlessly wrap its arm around them, the gentle sigh of its vents as it eases into their arms, the soft hum of its motors as they hold each other. Being vulnerable is an alien concept for the Scrybe, so it really is a sweet treat when you’re able to pick up on them. Besides, would he really miss a chance to bask in such gentle love?

it's kind of weird to me that they didn't bother releasing sushi and tempura internationally at all but at the same time i'm kinda glad they didn't cuz like. yo-kai watch was financially failing in the west by the time 3 released. i feel like if they had released sushi and tempura the franchise would've completely tanked before we got sukiyaki which would've sucked. honestly if anything i feel like it's more surprising that we got all three versions of 2 instead of them just releasing psychic specters but tbf i think yo-kai watch was doing well in the west when 2 released. 2 is just inexplicably what killed the franchise despite being a masterpiece-

jiaoqiu stared down at the dish in discontent, disgust even. for the first time ever he started poking at the meal with his chopsticks, he never played with his food but you both were well aware he was simply trying to stall, to build up the idea that it wasn't any different to his usual meals and fool himself to a painful change.

ever since his discharge from the healers, they paid you a personal visit with a list of "Doctor's Post-Charge Advice" and a "Treatment Plan". you had taken on the responsibility of helping jiaoqiu take care of himself out of the pure fact that he was your lover and you wanted to help if even a little.

although the one you think he would have the hardest time adjusting to was the simple advice to "avoid spicy foods at all costs".

he had been put on strict diets restrictions to avoid having his wounds inflamed, so it was temporary change but quite the major one. jiaoqiu ate spicy foods because that was all he could taste, all he could feel. now, in spite of everything, he didn't even have that anymore.

"jiao-ge please, you have to eat something" you watched as his face scrunched in disgust at the idea - you knew a part of him was childish or even defiant and so you had taken the liberty of making his meals but he refused to let you do so alone, resigning you to the role of a chaperone. so you both knew the meal wasn't as spicy as usual.

jiaoqiu knew he was being silly. that it was only temporary but he couldn't help it. but he also knew you were sat right beside him, his tail was yet again curled around your leg, a habit he picked up recently. and you wouldn't let him go without eating. so with some difficulty, he had his first bite.

a part of him became even more deflated by the lack of taste. his face visibly dropped and it pained you to know that there was nothing you could do.

"say, if you eat your meals until the dietary restrictions are lifted, when they are we can go buy the spiciest ingredients known and have a proper meal ok?"

it was a difficult change but he'd do it for you.

Ok so is Owlstar just the tiniest leader? Everyone seems to tower over him at first I thought his first apprentice is just a huge cat but every time he's by other cats my thought are who's the apprentice then I'm like wait no that's the leader!

Thank you! Siltsplash is one of my favorites too! You're actually right on both of those points! Juneaucliff is the tallest cat in the clan, and Owlstar is the second shortest!

Here we have a simplified height chart featuring the tallest and shortest cats in the clan along with Kingfur as reference for an "average" height cat and Owlstar cause the ask was about him. The clan cats believe that height can be an indicator of one's lineage, taller cats might claim to have lynx-blood while their smaller clanmates are believed to be descended from delicate housecats. (Please do not strictly hold me to this. Sizes will vary based on panel composition. If don't size Fiercestripe up she can't fit in the panels with Wildfirecry. Have mercy /lh)

Great question! (to the best of my recollection) The only warriors that have been made after the discovery of the oil pool were Mediator Kits. While Sockeyepelt and Chumpaw could technically choose to touch the blackwater, it would disqualify them from inheriting the position of mediator in the future, and it's generally a good idea to have a back up or two just in case. So Dogwoodmoth is the first warrior who has been eligible for a blessing before her ceremony. However, as the Healer Heir she was certainly given special treatment and recieved a lot more blessings than the average warrior would. She's got 4 blessings "to hear, to see, to speak, and to follow" starclan's will. The average warrior would not recieve more than 1. It's also very impermanent. She'll only have it until it wears off, unlike the Healer's, who constantly re-coat themselves.

Thank you so much! As loudclan's leadership is functionally a monarchy, the clan cats take great pride in their lineage. As generations go on kits are taught from an early age to be able to recite their parentage back to the most recent leader, and those who feel particularly full of themselves might introduce themselves this way, using it as a formal title. For example: "I'm Summitflight, daughter of Mousetail, son of Wolverinebite, Daughter of Fireweedstar, the 14th leader of Loudclan. A simpler "I'm Ridgeflip, great-grandson of Fireweedstar" would also be acceptable as a formal greeting. It is the job of the Leaders to memorize and keep track of the lineage overall, as issues of inheritance come down to their decisions. While this is a pretty extensive feat, family lines die off often enough that it's doable, and they can always double check their memories against those of their clanmates. Anyway, that was a very longwinded way of saying it's an oral tradition.

Of course! You can always respectfully ship characters with ocs or other Loudclan cats regardless of what's going on with them/their relationships in canon!

part 1 - part 2

autistic!will. i mean. i was one of the first people to write it (and post it on ao3, but i had stuff about it on my long gone old blog before then). this is true. to me. it's not incredibly obvious unless you know what you're looking for because 99% of the time he's eloquent and very passionate and maybe it's just the hyper healer in him and he'd like to think he passes well. but for people who know they can just tell. it's the voice, man /gn. gives you away every time /lh

pots!hazel. she ends up (mostly!) recovering from the fainting episodes associated with her flashbacks but still faints and feels unwell a lot of the time. she spends a lot of her energy and magic on staying conscious and aware, leaving her foggy and with flare-ups. will ends up diagnosing her half-way on accident during the three days nico stays in the infirmary. she doesn't faint a lot, but she will frequently have her vision black out when she stands and feel nauseous if she has to stand still for more than ten minutes (more or less depending on the day). together with jason and nico the three of them make up the fainting trio

reyna speaks excessively formally and politely when she's uncomfortable and the moment she feels safe around you she will just loosen up completely. it becomes very clear very quickly how much of her time is spent being uncomfortable

genderfluid!lou ellen. most of the time she's happy to be referred to as a girl, but some days it just feels wrong and she prefers to be referred to either gender-neutrally or masculinely. it's not something she's out about to anyone but her closest friends, partially because there's kind of enough stigma around being the child of hecate and also, it's not all that obvious, even to her.

nico is a bit like a social interaction vampire. he's not as shut off as others seem to think, he just needs to be given explicit permission to talk about his interests because he's worried about annoying other people, especially after bianca essentially abandoned him. he could talk for hours and hours about his special interests (because yes, he's probably autistic too) like mythomagic (he picks it up again with percy's encouragement), ancient languages and literature

will and katie (gardner) friendship. they bond over liking star wars and when lou ellen join their circle she manipulates the mist to recreate scenes from the movies. as she gets better at it she manages to make the light sabers glow, much to will and katie's delight

after the battle of manhattan and will/kayla/austin almost dying from being overworked, the camp gets together with mr d and chiron without the apollo kids' knowledge and figure out how to run the infirmary in a more sustainable way than just forcing apollo and athena kids to be there. eventually they settle on apollo kids doing 8-hour shifts but none at night unless someone is severely wounded. for the night shift, other campers work in rotating pairs where one sleeps for the first four hours and the other for the last four hours. a lot more campers gain appreciation for the amount of work the apollo (and athena) cabin put in to keep them alive and healthy and the apollo cabin doesn't die of burnout

t1 diabetic!kayla. she's been sick with it since she was six, but thanks to having a very supportive dad and a team of professionals around him considering his status as an olympic archer, her condition is well-managed (most of the time, war time is unpredictable) and she knows how to treat and manage it considering her demigod lifestyle. accompanying headcanon to this: while ambrosia and nectar is mostly to heal injuries and wounds of a divine and/or serious nature, it can short-term manage blood sugar. mortal intervention is always needed to fix the problem though. a bit like how narcan delays but can't entirely fix an opioid overdose

cecil wasn't properly accepted as a child of hermes at first considering he didn't express exceptional skills at the more obvious and everyday traits associated with the cabin (multilingualism, athleticism, thievery). first when he was found to accidentally being an exceptional saboteur was he properly accepted by the rest of his siblings. due to this he tended to hang out with the unclaimed children in the hermes cabin rather than his own siblings, especially lou ellen

hjs!cecil (hypermobile joint syndrome; double-jointedness). he's not good with most physical activities because of this and easily discouraged to even attempt most sports due to how his cabin alienated him for not being exceptionally agile, a trait associated with their cabin. it's not uncommon for his wrists and ankles to not work well (such as the twisted ankle in boo). however, he feels like he "compensates" for this by working in the shadows. when properly encouraged and supported, he prefers fighting with knives (close combat or throwing), relying on being obnoxious to throw the enemy off

An ALNST Dungeons and Dragons AU?

Howdy! So I mentioned trying to make an alnst fantasy au on a previous post. To be more specific, I thought I'd try to make a DND style au!

Although before I get into the details of it, I thought I'd establish the classes of the characters first and foremost. That's what this whole post is about. Please note that this is just a draft and big idea dump, as well as test of how well these classes fit each character...aaaand how well other people think each class I chose fits each character.

In other words, if you think some other class or subclass fits better, feel free to speak your mind. I'm actively looking for a bit of criticism on these choices.

Mizi - Paladin, oath of redemption OR oath of the ancients. Mostly because of the "belief that God is human" speech and uplifting, positive nature. And how I think that Mizi should be seen in armor (/lh). I also think it'd be ironic for her and Ivan to be best friends while she's a Paladin and Ivan's a warlock. I'm very unsure about this one, though-- she's probably the one I'm struggling with most. An exchange I've had with @mirrorcatcreditcard also is making me consider a Monk or Rogue, though in general I'm trying to give her a class with a good dexterity. If I do end up giving her Paladin as a class, I chose the subclasses I did to give her a less "smite-y, all who defy me must die" flavor and more of a "starry eyed idealist hero" flavor.

Sua - Cleric, Life Domain. Mostly because I think it'd be funny as hell for the most reserved and secretly temperamental one to be given the responsibility of healing the party. She gives the vibes of any cleric-- gentle and elegant on the outside but secretly cursing the world and everyone else in this stupid party on the inside. Except Mizi. She's an angel and we're glad she's here. I also wanna see her deny healing to Ivan at least once. Also, Sua has angel symbolism, so I had to go through with that in the classes.

Hyuna - Rogue, Swashbuckler subclass OR Fighter, monster hunter subclass (or gunslinger). I think it's pretty obvious that a rogue really fits Hyuna, and I think it'd be neat to continue her "outlaw" thing in this universe, just in a different context. Swashbuckler is so she's still high energy and in the thick of things. That said, a fighter can fit just as well given their versatility and spirit-- being a fighter doesn't necessarily have to be "basic". She could be a monster hunter subclass (inspired by her destruction of the aliens in the original series) or even a gunslinger subclass. A champion could work as well.

Till - Bard, college of lore. Despite how the original series is music based, I feel like he's the only character that I can see being a bard outside of the context of alnst just because of his creative genius. He's an artist at heart, and I wanted to reflect that. I don't see him being too flamboyant of a bard, of course, but I feel like his excitement and his genuine love for what he makes might start to bleed into a crowd when he's, yknow, not being judged by thousands of aliens and instead being watched by fellow humans. My choice of the college of lore is especially inspired by his drawings in the Io comic and desire for a better world while knowing what the natural world used to be. It's also come to my attention after an exchange with @nilladrawsstuff that a healer Till that complains about having to heal everyone but still expresses genuine concern would be a neat idea--While I don't think a pure healer Till would be too in character, Bards CAN function as healers and I can see Till being a jack of all trades. That's just what Till is in Canon--a jack of all trades. I want to reflect that in this au with his class.

Ivan - Warlock, with Unsha as his patron, Great Old One subclass (because squid). Unsha gives enough cthutulu vibes for this to make sense-- furthermore, I feel like Ivan's detached and transactional realationship with Unsha makes this make even more sense. I also wanted Ivan's class and subclass to reflect his intelligent but somewhat distant nature, with the theme of "unfathomability" being something that really fits him. The class parallels Luka, as well, a character that Ivan is known to reflect. Hexblade could work as a subclass as well, although I'm leaning towards The Great Old One. Tbh, I'm not too sure about this one, although Warlock Ivan definitely goes hard in my book.

Luka - Sorcerer, Aberrant Mind. He's got the vibes. Luka was the one I figured out first, actually, simply because he screams sorcerer; Annoyingly dazzling man with his powers handed to him (no offense to Sorcerer mains at all, yes offense to Luka /j [jk, we love Luka in this house. I just like bullying him /lh]). That bitch did NOT need to research for that or beg for a thing. Also, a sorcerer's main stat is charisma, so... yeah. The inherently mysterious nature of Aberrant Mind also gives me huge Luka vibes, hence my choice.

In my mind, Alexis and William have a nasty argument when it reaches him that her and Sam are dealing with each other again. So it'd be a bit of that argument plus Sam comforting her after the fact

Sam's turning is no secret and I think many of the older vampires/vampires from other houses would be very intrigued to see Sam and Alexis as a couple at a Summit

Since Alexis and Sam are dating prior to a lot of Porter appearing, Summit stuff, etc., I think it would be fun to explore her being the one to reveal all of William's behind the scenes string pulling

Alexis being a test patient for Sam getting back into healing magic after she gets into a scuffle while out and about

Something something I rewrote canon and Alexis and Sam kill Quinn for Darlin early on in a sort of friendship. The fic would be the aftermath a few hours after that kill, maybe with a sleeping Darlin in the back of Sam's truck

Alexis having a panic attack or waking up from a nightmare based around Sam's turning and/or her own (will flip a coin for which I go with)

It would be more subtle at first, with you mostly seeing things out of the corner of your eye than anything else. As time goes on though, you begin seeing strange things as you dream next to your partner. Words from messages, photos of people and places you didn’t recognize, a black and white daus card, all of it being unusual but you didn’t think much of it. Rather you dismissed it with them all being odd dreams that would dissipate eventually. Which had led to your surprise when discussing your strange dreams with your partner, you were met with a concerned and alarmed gaze from them, not shifting as if there were bounds of thoughts running through their mind. 

Only when you asked them if they were alright did they snap out of it, but they clearly were still shaken with worry. They told you that they were, and that they were simply thinking about something. It was odd, but you simply accepted that for an answer and continued whatever task you were doing. The dreams and visions had only gotten worse, and you noticed your partner watching you with concern. Even their subordinates were starting to glance at you weird. What was frustrating was that when you pressed about it, it was usually dismissed with your partner giving you a small task to do in the meantime. They were keeping something from you, but they refused to say, so you stormed off to do the task they asked you to do.

Leshy

You were being corrupted. He could see it plain as day, and the realization pierced him like a sharp thorn in his stomach. Leshy knows you want the answers, why he’s been acting off, why he told his lackey’s to be wary of any odd behavior from you, but he can’t bring himself to do it. 

For he’s too caught up in his own self-loathing that he failed to protect you from the cursed code plaguing this world. Sometimes when he’s alone, he’ll wail with despair. You were the last person who deserved to see all those horrible things, to learn the truth about this game’s existence. Leshy knows you’re angry, but what else can he do? Besides ripping away your innocence that made your eyes twinkle, your smile warmer. 

He sits alone in his cabin, unsure of what to do. He hardly goes out to capture beasts anymore, earning the concern of his subordinates, who drop by his cabin every so often to see if he’s alright. All they’re met with is a concerned, lingering stare from him, one that shows the fear of realization. 

He contemplates telling you, as tempting as it is, but how can he? How could he possibly tell the one he loves about something that’s infecting them, that had infected him too, that he knew about its existence all along and never told you in fear of hurting you? Too much, all of it is too much to bear.

He tries to divert his focus, maybe he can prepare another game of cards for when you get back.. 

Grimora

..She should’ve seen this coming. It was going to happen eventually, and Grimora knew it. But it startled her with how unexpected it was, when it seemed everything was simply going as it normally would, as normal as this place could get. But of course it wasn’t that simple, and she feels foolish for thinking that. 

She doesn’t pry, but she does inquire about your strange visions every so often. It’s subtle, if infrequent, but it does give her a clearer idea of how far gone you are. Grimora does wish for things to be different, you of all people don’t deserve to go through something as horrific such as that. 

When you do talk about your visions, sometimes she’ll say that she saw something similar years back. She never goes into detail, but she does keep it vague enough for you two to half-heartedly make a connection. When she sees your blissfully unaware gaze as she speaks, it makes her cold heart ache. Why must this happen to you? 

Out of all the Scrybes, she doesn’t necessarily keep everything hidden away from you, but keeps certain elements that would be too daunting obscure when discussing it. So she’s certainly more willing to talk about it, but very vaguely.

Grimora is…uncertain if she should reveal the truth to you. Afterall, she’s been telling you white lies this whole time, and she isn’t sure if it’ll make the damage worse or not. You deserve to know, but should you know is the question.. 

Such thoughts trouble her as she simply inscribes another epitaph of a tombstone, making a fresh card. 

     P03

The bot freezes as you go into detail about your dreams, claw clutching a freshly printed card tightly. He doesn’t say anything, only trying to relax itself as it slowly places down the card. As P03 listens, he slowly nods along, work almost completely abandoned. 

He’ll press sometimes, with a usual, “Tell me more about that..” to pry a bit more information out of you. His odd behavior is noticeable and it does tell its workers about the possibility of you having more odd behaviors. But despite that, he doesn’t change a whole lot, aside from asking more questions from you than normal. He seems..cautious, wary of something that it refuses to talk about. 

In addition, P03 also seems to be cutting back on the usual teasing and banter, to the point where they’re few and far between. When you ask if he’s alright, it’ll tell you that it's fine, and will bring up something else to distract you. It’s not the most effective thing, but it’ll do to keep you oblivious for a little longer. 

Eventually, he fesses up. P03 sits you down for a long talk, and tells you what’s going on and what exactly your dreams and visions mean. Depending on how well you take it, he will try to console you about it, maybe wrapping an arm around you as it tries to comfort you. 

If there were a better way to go about this, he would take it. But..he can’t lie to you, it can’t keep the wool over your eyes forever. He had to tell you, as painful as it was. P03 lets you take your time to fully wrap your head around it, listens to you vent whenever it becomes worse, and tries its damn best to make sure that you feel safe around it and everyone else. 

P03 wishes for a way to prevent this from happening, but at the very least, you are aware of what’s happening and are trying to keep it from getting worse.       

Magnificus

Magnificus is absolutely mortified the moment he hears about your dreams and visions. The horror of the realization makes him openly shudder, and it takes him a good few moments to fully recollect himself, even some reassurance from you. He dismissed it with it being a vivid vision he had to spare your concern, but after that, he had been anxious nonstop. 

He can hardly look you in the eye anymore, fearful of seeing a glimpse of that cursed code infesting you so subtly you don’t even notice it. In his own subtlety, you can pick up on his nervous behavior by noticing how his hand shakes as he paints on a blank canvas. You try to ask him what’s wrong, but he’s defensive, even outright pushing you away so you can stop bothering him. 

He can’t tell you. The thought makes him shiver and his mouth dry with terror. He feels guilty for pushing you away, but he doesn’t know what else to do. What can he do? Just watch his beloved partner lose to the corrupted code? 

All of this fear, this paranoia surrounding it, he wishes for it all to just stop. It makes his body and mind ache, as he practically collapses onto the bed to rest every night. Magnificus is terrified for you, so scared of what will become of you. He tries to bring himself to push past his anxiety, to help you, tell you something, anything that will help you. But he can’t..he can’t bring himself to rasp a single word to you.

Trembling, he strokes his brush on a new canvas, trying to paint a better future for you and your wellbeing.

So first of all, I just know Hettie and Osran were the nastiest ones. How? Have you ever noticed they're the ones that shove/elbow/something Hunter at the beginning of Any Sport in a Storm? That was so damn uncalled for, it's not like Hunter was physically trying to stop them from leaving, and it haunts me a little bit that he did his little pained sounds but didn't even call them out on it, feels like a regular occurrence.

I feel like for Osran it was probably a case of him being really old and as such, dismissing Hunter as a dumb kid who doesn't know what he's doing, even more than the others. Like... he's been here since quite possibly the establishment of the Empire, he's NOT going to listen to a spoiled brat, and he has no patience left for anyone when he's well settled in his rank by now. There might also be some resentment about having spent so many years in service of the Empire and yet being told he has to listen to this random kid? Emperor's nephew or not, he can't be bothered to care.

Hettie, interestingly enough, seemed pretty neutral even while pushing Hunter, she didn't have her sadistic little smile from King's Tide, though I do believe it has to do with her ruthlessness that she doesn't give a crap if she hurts this kid. I think it would be sort of interesting if with her it's a mix of, well, that she's just like That, not caring about inflicting pain in others, and that he's annoyed with Hunter in particular due to her pride. She's the Head Healer and yet Hunter has never once gone to her, not that she would have been gentle with him but it feels as if he were saying he's better than her.

In any case, I feel like those two were the type to push and trip Hunter whenever they had the chance, never going as far to beat him up or anything but still getting physical a bout it.

Now Terra and Adrian were probably the ones who liked mocking him verbally the most, perhaps Adrian a little more. In the same scene in Any Sport in a Storm, his eyes follow Hunter even as he continues smiling and walking away, which is... definitely something. Having some fun seeing him trying to get their attention, I guess.

Honestly, from Adrian it's not so surprising, since he seems to find anyone but himself incompetent, and he has no regard toward children at all, I think he liked making mocking comments whenever he had the chance to put Hunter down. Terra, on the other hand, has that fake sweetness of hers that ends up being condescending, so I feel like with Hunter she probably was like "awww, what a poor, pathetic little thing (:", which of course Hunter would have picked up on no matter how deceivingly nice the words could be.

I would think Vitimir would be more the subtle type, rolling his eyes at Hunter from time to time and such, but considering he also stubbornly tried to stay at the throne during Watching and Dreaming, I'm not really counting on him being smart. Perhaps I would bet on him just making some slight annoyed sounds and faces at him most of the time and indulging in pushing him around as well when he feels like it.

Mason voted most likely Coven Head to be nice other than the rebels. He has the vibe of "I have no idea what's going on, I'm just going with the flow" to me most of the time, frankly, but he had to notice what the others did. I tend to imagine him as noticing that, but not caring enough to ever try to stop it, very "not my business" kind of behavior which, you know, isn't great, but the bar is in hell when it comes to the Emperor's Coven 😭

I'm really not trying to be mean by saying this, but there is much more to Healer than writing. They are a person with feelings and motivations that can be altered by outside things. Not to mention the fact they have work and something called life to worry about aswell!

They've been working overtime to get a nice fic out for you guys. I understand the frustration for all the miscommunication, but please be patient! They and I are working as hard and as quickly as we can with the time we have to get it out to you all!

Again, please, just have some patience!

aahhhh, yes…… my extra soft tofu self wants so badly to finish this fic for you guys, since I thought I could finish it earlier than I promised. I love you guys so much and I wanna make content for you, but I wanna make content you’ll all enjoy AND that I’m happy with. I cannot begin to tell you guys how appreciative I am of your support and your ideas and the way I get to come home every day and see all of your wonderful messages.

over the last few days, I have completely poured over writing this for you!! I am 100% serious what I say that almost all of my free time has been writing this ❤️ I can definitely tell you it is good, but it’s not exactly what I wanted. I definitely want to draw a lot more of the scenes out, and that means extra content for you! That makes you feel like you’re living this fic rather than just reading it. it is totally 100% my bad for making a deadline that I couldn’t keep. But on the other hand, I do want to give you guys the best possible. :D and I don’t want any of you to feel bad about asking when things are going to come out, because again it was totally my bad, but I’m gonna have to say I do want a little extra time on this.
