The birds were beloved. But they also chased garbage trucks, scratched cars, and feasted on vegetable patches

It began with a peahen named Pearl. She was the only female in a trio of peafowl that once freely roamed the small town of Naramata, British Columbia. Her chicks had the bright-blue bodies and metallic-green tail feathers that make the male members of her species iconic, but Pearl’s colouring was rare: her entire body and tail feathers were a shimmering white.

Dad: So they gave you Windows 11 with your computer with no way to install it.

Me: I bought Windows 11 as a CD and (sisters boyfriend) luckily gave me Windows 10 as a flash drive before I had a cd player to install Windows 11. Making it so that I did not learn till now that you needed Windows 10 installed before you install Windows 11.

Me: I bought it from the internet. No one else was involved.
