I’m not sure if anyones noticed this yet, but whilst i was listening to ‘My Goodbye’ i noticed that after the part where Odysseus says “You’re alone” the music sounds very similar to the one of the end of Thunder Bringer, where Zeus killed the whole Odysseus’s crew, therefore becoming alone, just like he said Athena was.

anyway Jorge’s an actual musical genius and that was just something i noticed :)

I like Epic: The Musical and I think Jorge Rivera-Herrans is a great singer but he does not in any way sound like a middle aged sailor who spent the last decade at war.

Listening to Epic is amazing but also hilarious cause people will be like “I hope Athena is ok!!!” like that’s not a Goddess from a story over two thousand years old

This song made me think of when Maglor and Maedhros found Elrond and Elros after the 3rd kinslaying in the first age. Of course I had to then translate it. I split the lyrics up a bit, so they both had lines. (Also left out the chorus in the transcriptions)
