Jared Moskowitz motions to impeach Biden, no Republican would second the motion.
Jared calls the Republicans fake to their faces.
After 15 months, the GOP impeachment has charged no crimes, and their intel has been exposed as Russian/Kremlin propaganda.
The Republicans will deliver nothing, again.

Alex Samuels at Daily Kos:
This week, Reps. Jared Moskowitz of Florida and Greg Landsman of Ohio became the first two Democrats to join a caucus that will ostensibly work with the Department of Government Efficiency, a planned advisory commission for Donald Trump’s incoming administration.
The toothless commission, whose DOGE acronym is based on a cryptocurrency-adjacent meme, will be led by two people with zero experience inside the very federal government they’re threatening to blow up: mega-billionaire Elon Musk and former GOP presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy. So far, Ramaswamy has pledged that multiple federal agencies will be “deleted outright.” But since DOGE has no legal status, public funding, nor real power, it likely needs friends in Congress to help implement its plans. Enter Moskowitz and Landsman—along with a bevy of Republicans, including Reps. Pete Sessions of Texas and Aaron Bean of Florida and Sen. Joni Ernst of Iowa. “I think most Americans want to pay the least amount of taxes possible, but still get the most amount of services out of that,” Moskowitz told NPR on Thursday. “So if they're right on something, we should support it.” That sounds like a good idea in theory, right? Who wouldn’t want a more efficient government? But DOGE isn’t a real government agency, meaning it can’t do much more than make suggestions. And the reality is that it will likely be nothing more than a playground for extremist rhetoric and ideas, peddling the half-baked policies of a far-right authoritarian president whose promises for his second term in the White House are downright scary.
Why in the world are some Congressional Democrats giving any legitimacy to Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy’s meme department called DOGE by joining its caucus?

MALCOLM NANCE
The 10 Dems who voted for censure MUST be primaried and removed in 2026.
I don't care who they are. They. Must. Go.
If these "Moderates" will flip on the 1st Amendment but not censure Boebert or MTG then they'll flip again to comply with Trump's dictatorship.

« As a former director of emergency management, I know a disaster when I see one. »
— Rep. Jared Moskowitz (D-FL-23), former director of the Florida Division of Emergency Management, commenting at the shambolic House impeachment inquiry chaired by MAGA Rep. James Comer (R-KY-01).
Among other things, a Republican witness, Prof. Jonathan Turley, had just testified that there was no evidence of impeachable offenses.
Jared Moskowitz was on a roll on Thursday. Watch it for the quote, stay for the white board.
youtube
But wait, there's more!
Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX-30) weighed in by decrying the total lack of evidence against Joe Biden while pointing out the hypocrisy of Republicans who have ignored Donald Trump's non-stop crime spree.
youtube
House Republicans are hoping that their "revenge impeachment" will distract Americans from the upcoming Republican government shutdown this weekend. Instead, Thursday's hearing just reminded everybody what a fiasco this year of GOP House control has been.
EDIT: Rep. Jasmine Crockett's party affiliation has been corrected from the original post.

Call for Action
Due to the spreading of misinformation and endangerment of the United States public, I would like to call for the resignation of Margorie Taylor Green. And, the disqualification of Donald J Trump. This is but a small drop in the bucket of legitimate and reasonable examples as to why they need to be removed from our government, from our election, AND FROM THE PUBLIC EYE. I am but one voice among a sea of dissatisfied and discontent Americans. They have misused their power to sew corruption, and malice into our once respectable institutes of government. They have forgotten that they are here to work for us! They are Civil SERVANTS. They are here to work towards the improvement of OUR lives. Among the many atrocities committed by our former president alone; he has not only attempted to use two recent -politically neutral- tragedies to his benefit, he sent Covid test to our long standing adversarial country while our friends and neighbors died by the millions. To the tune of one 9/11 body-count PER WEEK at Covid's peak. I REFUSE to allow a TRAITOR and his minions to run our country into the ground any longer. I REFUSE to let them lie to us anymore. I REFUSE to let the pit us against one another. And I praise those who work tirelessly to call them out for all the garbage they constantly spew, And bring their poisonous actions to light. We, as US Americans, will stand together. We, as US Americans, will bring humanity back to our shores. The Republican party has become a rot within our governing body needs to be abolished. Whether it is to be rebuilt with proper values and behavior will remain to be seen. I call upon the trustworthy leaders of our great nation with respect. The American People have reached our breaking point and demand action taken upon those obviously corrupt among you! This is OUR country and WE DEMAND BETTER!
In closing, my heart goes out to the friends, families, and loved one that have been the most effected by the recent disasters and the lies that have accompanied them. Time and time again we have come together to help our neighbors in need. And I know that we come together once again. We will be there for you. Hold strong.

Dumbest Thing I've Ever Heard: 7/17/2023
Before we begin, I just want to say that, no, I'm not going to be talking about the Robert F. Kennedy Jr. comments--primarily because everybody else in the media already tore him to shreds over them and I have quite literally nothing to add.
Third Place: E.W. Jackson
Yes, the deranged right-wing pastor is running for President, as Right Wing Watch reported today. Among his proposals are a repeal on same-sex marriage and a Constitutional Amendment which states that “for purposes of law and rights, there are only two genders; that’s male and female, that’s it.” His website includes the text of this proposed Constitutional Amendment, which would also ban the legal recognition of transgender identities on government documents and a banning of transgender people from the public restroom that aligns with their gender identity.
Of course, the President can't just declare the Constitution to be amended, it needs the support of both two thirds of Congress and three fourths of the states. George W. Bush tried to do something similar regarding same-sex marriage--which Jackson also pushes for on his website--and given he was unable to do so at the height of the power of the religious right in the 2000s, the odds of this happening under a President Jackson is about the same as--well, the odds of a President Jackson.
Seriously, the polls have said from the start that this race was going to be between Trump and DeSantis--and it looks like many political commentators, myself includes, were being too nice to DeSantis through considering him a possible rival to Trump. His campaign is failing, and given he is the one with the best chance besides Trump, it doesn't look well for anybody else.
Second Place: Rupert Murdoch
Media Matters released a report today regarding who Murdoch is currently trying to push for President: Glenn Youngkin! Yeah, the Governor of Virginia who barley won his race despite having everything in his favor. He was running as a Republican during a time where a Republican was almost certainly going to win, and against a former Governor in a state known for its hatred of career politicians. Even then, only sixty thousand votes kept him from losing--and Murdoch wants that man to be President, and he's going to push that message with every right-wing propaganda mill he owns.
Winner: Jared Moskowitz
This is a blink and you miss it kind of stupidity, but it's still worth pointing out. While on MSNBC today, Moskowitz compared the recent comment from Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal about Israel being a racist state to Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s claim that COVID-19 was scientifically engineered to not kill Jews, because both are examples of antisemitism.
Of course, nothing Jayapal said was antisemitic--there is a difference between criticizing the state of Israel and criticizing the religious of Judaism and its followers just as there's a difference between criticizing the nation of Saudi Arabia and the religion of Islam and its followers. And this attempt to conflate the two, although not uncommon among those who dishonestly argue for Zionism, is disgusting--regardless of what you think of Jayapal's comments, every decent person should be condemning these comparisons and calling them nothing short of vulgar smears.
Jared Moskowitz, you've said the dumbest thing I've ever heard.

Andrew Solender at Axios:
President-elect Trump and Elon Musk are finding a wellspring of unexpected cooperation from Democrats in their plans to crack down on government waste and inefficiency. Why it matters: Trump's "Department of Government Efficiency," or DOGE, has been a mostly Republican brainstorm so far, but centrist and progressive Democrats have begun offering ideas for it.
Rep. Jared Moskowitz (D-Fla.), the lone Democrat to join Congress' new DOGE caucus, told Axios he thinks "more Dems will join the caucus."
Doing so "gets you a voice to fight for the things where there's bipartisan agreement and fight against the irrational things that will probably get proposed," he said.
Zoom in: Axios interviewed more than a half-dozen House Democrats who, rather than balk at DOGE, had suggestions for how it can streamline the government and cut spending.
These lawmakers hew younger and male, and some have open ambitions about running for higher office.
They're seeking to answer Republicans' tech billionaire-led rebrand by flipping the perception of Democrats as unquestioning champions of bureaucracy — and embracing a sleeker government.
What we're hearing: Moskowitz's big idea is to shrink the sprawling Department of Homeland Security, including by making the Secret Service and FEMA independent agencies that report to the White House.
Rep. Ro Khanna (D-Calif.) offered several ideas: Cutting agency redundancies, consolidating export promotion agencies and instituting self-populating tax forms, as well as the more liberal idea of scrapping fossil fuel subsidies,
Rep. Greg Landsman (D-Ohio) proposed cutting the federal workforce and reducing the size of many government forms — particularly those used for student financial aid applications and tax returns.
Rep. Ritchie Torres (D-N.Y.) suggested making it easier to obtain permits for infrastructure and development projects, an idea Trump himself floated Tuesday.
Rep. Jared Golden (D-Maine) said he's working on a bill to "move all the federal agencies out of D.C. ... and send them all over the country," which Trump and his allies have long embraced.
Moskowitz and Khanna both proposed upgrading the federal government's notoriously outdated and slow IT systems.
Why in the world are at least a few House Democrats even entertaining joining the DOGE Caucus?

A seemingly unlikely duo is pushing for Congress to do something about ballooning college debt that’s plaguing millions of Americans. Reps. Jared Moskowitz, D-Fla., and Anna Paulina Luna, R-Fla., introduced a bill to cap federal student loan interest at 3% this week, and Luna told Fox News Digital that she’s already gearing up to lobby Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., for a House-wide vote.
