Just a reminder, James, Lily and Remus (and Peter) were planning a birthday party for Sirius but it never happened. Ans Sirius will never know because he never knew, because they could never tell him about it. He spend his birthday alone in a cell. No cake, no candles, no presents, no love, but in the cold and dark.

Happy Birthday ♡

From all these years, nothing's really changed huh Evans? Sorry! Mrs. Potter. Well, yeah except that and the fact that you're getting irresistibly pretty with time. But, do you know what's the same? The way I forget about everything else the moment you enter the room. The way my heart beats a little faster when I hear that beautiful laugh of yours, that hasn't changed. And those butterflies in my stomach everytime you look at me, well that's never gonna change.

Sometimes I still can't believe that this is real, that you really are here, by my side. The number of times I've asked Sirius to hit me(that git never hesitated) just to make sure that I'm not dreaming is unreal.

I love everything about you. I love that you will never admit that you can't dance even when every time we dance, my feet need armours of their own. I love that you try your best not to sleep whenever I go on a stride about quidditch. I love how excited you get for the littlest of things. I love how your eyes lit up when there's a candy shop in sight. I love how your hair glows in the sun. One would be a fool to think that this list will ever end. After all these years, I think you and I both know that I mean every word. I'm in love with you Mrs. Potter and nothing makes me happier than the thought that I'm getting to spend the rest of my life with you.

Lately, it's not the best out there. The war, the things we're seeing everyday...yeah it's bad. But everyday, as I wake up to this beautiful soul, holding my hand through everything, it's getting easier. To imagine good things happening. To imagine that ray of sunshine.  You give me hope, Lily. You help me believe that there is a better future waiting for us. You give me something worth fighting for. And I promise you, I will fight till the end. I will never give up on you, on us, our friends, our future. I love you.
