Been drawing Ryan (along with a few other NoPixel characters) quite a bit lately, so uh, have this + a few doodles I've done!

This one in particular was from a tiny moment where Reed (left guy) told about his prosthetic [left] arm to Ryan (right guy), who called it sick :]

We got some doodles I did roughly a week ago, all three of which having different contexts to them. So I won't explain any of them :)

And lastly, we have a moment that was from the same stream as the first drawing. The only context you need: They are ex-husbands that may or may not be getting back together. Who knows?

i woke up to the snow this morning. we get about one snow day a year nowadays, sometimes it sticks for 2 or 3, but normally just the one. it used to be weeks when i was little, and i’m not far from little, but now we only get one.

and it falls so suddenly. even if they predict it, it’s predicted wrong, too early or too late or not at all. or maybe it’s predicted right, once in a blue moon, and you think there’s no way because the night before was too warm. you wake up one morning and there’s snow outside and you feel like a little kid again, and you can pretend for one moment that you are still a little kid until it melts.

it’s my brother’s 8th birthday today, too. sometimes, when you get only the one day, it’s nice to imagine it fell on that day for a reason. he won’t see as much snow as i did, but he will remember this one. because it came on the one day.

i woke up this morning, with the snow i didn’t expect, on my bed insulated by my own warmth in my house frozen still by the cold, and thought about her.

and how i would never, ever be over it. ever.

Okay, but—how does the hunt evolve? How does it get more barbaric than it begins? Because the first hunt, with Natalie, has everyone on equal ground. Everyone is dressed for warmth, everyone has shoes on, it’s very “this could happen to any of us”. It’s fair, if such a thing exists in the wild.

But the opening scene of the pilot? Pit Girl? She’s in a flimsy dress. She’s barefoot. She’s not designed for a sprint to get water, much less for her life. So, how does it escalate? How fucking bad must it get, for the hunters to be dressed in furs and masks, and the prey to be so unprepared for the elements? That doesn’t feel like a move they’d make unless things got so much worse than we’ve seen.
