Not to be rude but to all people who call NineRose/TenDonna father-daughter/sibling coded, wtf? Y'all blind?? On drugs, maybe???

NineRose was NEVER platonic. They gave each other heart eyes, flirted outrageously and kissed on the mouth. Calling them father-daughter coded is pretty gross. You can say he was her mentor, cause he was. You're allowed not to ship them. But he is not her substitute dad ffs.

As for TenDonna, same, you ship them or you don't it's your business. You can prefer them as bffs it's totally correct. But they are NOT sibling coded. Do you even have a sibling, when you can say shit like that? Like bro come on. Would you kiss your brother/sister on the mouth for shock value? Cause personally I wouldn't. I have the same relationship as TenDonna with one of my besties and we have literally established we were platonically in love with each other. So yeah, that's that.

My favourite thing about the Bad Wolf storyline is that the creation of Bad Wolf itself wasn’t even the biggest proof of love from Rose in that moment and that says a lot because looking into the Heart of the TARDIS isn’t nothing.

But the biggest proof (in that moment) that Rose loved the Doctor was this:

She saw everything.

The worst he ever had been, the worst he ever could become.

She saw the timeline were he left her in Pete’s world. (since she named it Bad Wolf after Bad Wolf bay. )

(Which makes me think that she might have had to hand pick that timeline in order to save him)

She saw him break her heart, she saw him kill, die and hate everything and everyone because he couldn’t face hating himself.

She saw all of him. (The very thing he thought would make her leave him)

And yet she still came back to save him.

there's such a massive history with doctor who and it hit me lately that the sensation of seeing that the companions and doctors you watched in real-time have become the past is a sensation every fan has felt for 60 years. at some point people missed jon pertwee and could remember watching him recently, even though tom baker was on tv as the doctor now and they liked him too. and nowadays we miss rose tyler and martha jones and amy pond and clara oswald and donna noble and tennant and smith and capaldi like those people missed baker when davison took the stage. like people missed ace and wondered if the show would ever come back, and then got excited and still felt it wasn't quite the same when eccleston was announced. like. it feels so recent, like just yesterday rose saw the tardis for the first time, but that was twenty years ago. feels like the doctor just made the speech in 'the rings of akhaten' and that was a decade ago. clara is gone, amy is gone. peter capaldi went from gray to white. and the show is going on and children will think of ncuti gatwa and millie gibson and huge white tardis corridors when they think of doctor who in the future. to them, david tennant is already what tom baker is to us. this story has a huge legacy. when you're watching doctor who, it ironically begins to feel like you're making history just by watching it.

everytime the doctor gets out of a pinch, everytime he somehow survives, everytime he somehow meets the right person at the right time who says just the right thing and helps him save the day, all I can think about is bad wolf and rose tyler and how all that one ordinary nineteen year old girl wanted, was for the man she loved to be safe and so she saw everything thing that ever was and everything that ever could be and rearranged time itself so that he would always survive and now he's still out there, having lost her a millennia ago, but still safe somehow because that's how she wanted it to be.
