LETS FREAKING GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
Ahem.
So if you are a tag reader and have existed on my blog for an extended period of time, then you may recall me mentioning that I really should go on a rant about Loki. Multiple times even. And there is a good reason for that— she is one of the most interesting characters to analyze and write for in feh.
That might seem like an odd claim, but you must remember that your reliable narrator finds immense joy in writing for Kiran fire emblem. Kiran is fun for a few reasons, but the work loop is what really sells it. There is a character beyond the self insert, but it must be found and then extrapolated back. Detective work goes into their analysis and then more free form creativity is employed to inflict that personality back onto the narrative. Loki provides a similar experience. She’s an almost equally blank slate. Harsh comparison considering Kiran is a non entity of a self insert, but true nonetheless. Currently, as of the very start of book 9, Loki is not much of a character. I hope to be proven wrong in the near future, but right now that is the case.
The issue can most easily be broken down into one core question: what does Loki want? No, seriously, what does she want? She’s the only reoccurring character in which we have no idea about anything that drives her. You might argue that this is supposed to be part of her mystique, but then I’d argue that you don’t understand what builds mystique. You know who also had mystique? Líf and Thrasir, Læraðor and the Healing Hands, Gullvieg, and about every other antagonistic force whose full motives were not initially clear. Just because we did not know the full extent of what drove them, did not mean that we didn’t get a sense of something they wanted. The most common thing these antagonists want is to kill our heroes, which is why conflict arises in the first place.
What does Loki want in comparison? To cause Chaos™️? That is a cop-out in the same way writing Harley Quinn as just a crazy random lady is. It is an excuse to not write a consistent character and just hoping that surface level aesthetics will carry everything on its emancipated shoulders. To what end does Loki want to cause chaos? For what reasons? What could possibly stand in her way? What conflict could arise from that? Every other character has straight forward answers to these basic questions, but even after 8 seasons of this narrative, we still don’t have anything for this lady. And that’s a blatant flaw of FEH. Which is a shame, because as I was digging to find ways to fill the gaps, some genuinely interesting ideas came up.
This starts with the FEH’s pantheon. It is a vital part of the narrative’s themes of loneliness, isolation, and connection. Being the villains 80% of the time, they are often a pure distillation of the long term effects of isolation. Hel is a fascinating introduction to this idea that gains more intrigue in retrospect. Unlike every divine encounter after her, she is the sole god we meet in book 3. It’s an unspoken rule, but they typically arise in contrasting pairs. Askr and Embla, Nifl and Múspell, Freyr and Freya, etc. It is revealed that Hel was not an exception to this rule, but had successfully killed her equal and opposite of Ymir long before she ever set foot in Askr. With no one left to naturally counter her, she’s been fueling her endless need for more power free of natural consequence. Without life, death has gone utterly power mad. Upon her throne of corpses, she is entirely isolated and free to view every breathing being as lesser. To really drive this home, they reveal that her only connection to a living thing, Eir, to be a lie. She is a need for power, left by itself to rot.
Then we have the siblings Freyr and Freya, who were implied to be the weird black sheep of the pantheon and thus only had each other. Freyr is notedly one of the few non antagonistic gods and this correlates with his apparent social life. He talks to people! Regularly! According to Peony, anytime anyone has any issue in the realm of dreams, they go to him. He has taken the time to build a community and make himself the beating heart of it. He’s getting some god damn therapy. Good for him! Freya has unfortunately done no such thing and hasn’t moved on from the harm inflicted upon them in the past. She has power, beauty, and fame, but Freyr is still the only person she has. But now, the reverse is no longer true and he’s pulling further away. This nags at the long standing wound of never being accepted and Freya sees this as rejection from the one person in this horrible cruel world who wasn’t supposed to do that to her. Everything goes to hell from there. This need for acceptance is left by itself to rot.
Now, this was supposed to be a discussion of Loki, no? Why bring this up? Well, it’s because she’s an oddity. Hel, Freya, and Freyr generally define the types of gods we see from this point onwards. We either got isolated and rocking it (Hel, Múspell), isolated and crying in the club (Freya, Gullveig, Nifl), or finally getting some god damn therapy for the isolation but ultimately not being able to fully escape it in time (Freyr, Askr). Loki is not quite any of these things. And as I was trying to rationalize why there was an exception to this theme I found, it dawned on me— it’s not that she isn’t any of these things, it’s that she’s on the verge of becoming one of them. What makes Loki unique among the pantheon is that she’s the only god we see meeting and connecting with people throughout the narrative. That’s the point. Nothing has begun to rot yet. Her powers are shapeshifting and pretending to be a person, because she’s actually on the verge of potentially becoming one.
Let’s use her dynamic with Veronica as an example. Loki genuinely likes Veronica. She finds the girl silly and cute. However, she had alterer motives from the moment they met, as she was still working for Surtr at the time and befriended the young princess so that she could be ultimately sacrificed to the rite of flames. And even outside of that, she needed her help to begin the Tempest. It was a lie from the start, and yet, Loki gives our protagonists an opening to save her. That’s fascinating. She does not value Veronica’s life or wellbeing above her schemes, but she likes her enough to actively go out of her way to give her a chance. If I didn’t know any better, that’s a fascinating set up for a long term character conflict. Loki, the chaotic trickster god plotting to bring change and ruin, vs Loki, a quirky shapeshifter lady teaching Princess Veronica funny little tricks like how to heal paper cuts and not lose her breakfast when quickly dimension hoping to the realm of the dead.
That’s so god damn fun and is a version of the character that would bring so much life to the narrative. But it’s not really what we got and might not be what we ultimately get either. And that’s okay, I’m pretty down for whatever they choose to do. But until then, Your Honor, hit that trickster god with an identity crisis. Hit her with the silly beam. Let the two tacticians hang out and be kinda toxic besties. What could go wrong? Oh, there’s a character named Baldur? Surely this won’t result in a chain of events that culminates in the end of the world.

So, while I was playing Reload (great game 10/10), I was brainstorming about using the android that kills Shadows in P5. So, I came up with an AU where Akechi is an Anti-Shadow weapon. Well he is inspired by one.
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Of course, there are fanarts (better than mine) or fics where he is that Anti-Shadow weapon, but I have never really seen anything dwelling into lore that much? I just saw the concept being thrown around or Phantom Thieves just being a part of Shadow Ops (feel free to correct me, I haven't been everywhere in Persona fandom ehsjskks) So here's my take, which contains spoilers for Persona 5 (obvs) and some angsty themes:
Spoilers obvs!!!!!!!!
-Wakaba killed Akechi during one of Metaverse's experiments (oops),
-she felt so guilty about it that she secretly retrieved his consciousness from there,
-using plans for an Anti-Shadow weapon
by the Kirijo Group that she somehow got hold of (maybe she stole it, maybe she just got it idc), she rebuilt him as an android and put his consciousness there (although it exists with the programming, because she wasn't that knowledgeable about robotics - she was a cognitive psicentist at heart, after all),
-was it a good decision? idk but Wakaba kinda strike me as a scientist who would think that was an excellent idea,
-Akechi disagrees, he hates her for that because now he is forever stuck as a thing that is forced to listen to orders (being forever stuck in one body also doesn't feel right I suppose),
-but they have a neutral and professional relationship that revolves around exploring the Metaverse (Akechi can still use Loki, just like Aigis can use Palladion),
-Conspiracy, learning about this, hacks Akechi-android to use him as a weapon in the Metaverse (so he still is a Black Mask, although everything is done completely without his input),
-Akechi then kills Wakaba, which she anticipated and before that she had given Futaba a copy of her research and Akechi’s plans - although she said to never use them without a really serious reasoning,
-yada, yada, yada we're in original game timeline,
-Akechi as a Detective Prince doesn't exist,
-but he does exist like a obstacle in Palaces/Mementos that hunts down the Thieves,
-let’s just say they would be able to fight him back around the time their lvl in Okumura's Palace,
-Morgana doesn't know wtf Akechi is,
-Joker has some suspicion that Akechi isn't just a machine, but he doesn't really voice it at that point,
-when they are in Futaba's palace, on one of the wall arts (the one where Wakaba works on something and Futaba is begging for her attention) they notice that Wakaba was working on one of Akechi's parts (probably his arm idk),
-so they ask Futaba (post-change of heart) what’s going on, but she has to do research,
-when Futaba joins the team, Akechi always targets her (due to his resent to Wakaba),
-they finally learn what Akechi is and that he is malfunctioning (y'know being a serial killer weapon) due to being hacked, so they decide to help him (bonus point if they can get him on their team),
-so in Okumura palace arc they set on changing the CEO heart and capturing Akechi (who is also there, because he has to get rid of Okumura),
-during the fight in that Palace, Futaba manages to free him from Conspiracy’s control (bonus point if he awakes to Robin Hood),
-when they get him back to Leblanc's attic, Futaba repairs him (because I feel like she would be into robotics just like her mom) and they learn that even if he is on their side now, he doesn't remember who he really was (even first his name, only Akechi).
So, my AU would revolve around Akechi re-learning about his past (he can bond over his amnesia with Morgana) and being as human as possible.
Tumblr media
I have a few ideas that I probably will draw (or write, who knows), but that's all for now. Thanks for coming for my ted talk.
Bonus comic - very messy, sorry:

Hey so I may just be a little gay boy on the internet but for some reason as soon as I saw Loki in some new raid shadow legends update I was kicking my feet and squeeling
Here’s some mediocre screenshots of him:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Not only is this man for some reason enormously attractive, he’s also (from the 1 minutes I’ve seen so far) a pretty good adaptation from Norse Myth.
I mean I’m just a nerd with a hyper fixation I’m not studied in this stuff but have Lokes with the red hair, the snake motif, clearly not fully on the side of the Asgardians, but also not standing completely against them. Just being his good-old shit-stirring self.
I also have a prediction for the release order of the still unrevealed Norse Gods
Tumblr media
So obviously we have Loki, far left
Then judging by the helmet resembling wings and general pop culture knowledge the center left is Thor
Then just based on who it’d make sense to have in a fighting game, center right will be Tyr
And finally on the far right I’m positive this is Odin.
Thanks for coming to my ted talk
And yes I do have a crush on Tom Hiddleston

💙 hi and welcome to my ted talk about the latest episodes of what if, please read through (3) 💙
First of all. Why is season 2 so...happy?
I'm not complaining. Marvel has enough sad stories for a lifetime, but I found that, instead of exploring demises, we're now seeing victories. Old villains find their insight and become heroes (Hela, Nebula, Gamora) and lives are influenced for the better, earlier on (Peter Quill, Bucky, Hope).
It might be nothing.
But I think it's something.
You know what season 2 of what if comes right after? Season 2 of Loki. And, as you'll see at the end of this post, their colors are making themselves known.
Could it be that, from his throne, Loki got sick of watching sad stories and seeing worlds die? There is a chance, I don't know how plausible, but there is, that he's influencing all that we saw this season. A little hope here, a little time there, and, using their free will, everyone gets a second chance.
That, or Uatu felt bad for us and wanted to gift us in honor of New Year being in 1-2 days. Do tell me if you have additions on that.
If I had to bet on something, it would be the overall fan reaction to the opening scene. I screamed, yes. Did they expect us to see Loki's name there in the subtitles and be totally chill about it?
"To be or not to be, that is the question"
Tumblr media
I can totally see Tom having this idea for the opening scene: just Loki reciting Hamlet, and altough to his brother's bordedom, acting from Shakespeare. And it was the best idea he could have.
It's a missable detail, but Thor mentions Mjölnir! And you know how? As a gift...for Loki!
He responds to that with "I...have misplaced it" which is, yeah, typical, but how do you just lose Mjölnir, Loki? The idea, however, is that he'd be able to lift it, which I would have loooved to see on screen. But this was fun to have too.
And the response to Captain Carter's "You're a bigger drama queen than your brother" (talking to Thor)?? 😭
"Blessed"
Tumblr media
Can we also point out how insane it is that after just being stripped from her home in an unknown world, Peggy still wanted to help?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
She not only has a hero's soul, she is that brave as to turn down The Watcher's warnings and offers to take her back safe. And remember, not everyone can hear Uatu as he narrates. But she can, sometimes.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
"What if, what if, what if. I have to try."
"Not on my watch"
This ambition of hers, is, of course, given by her humanity too. But that's not only a bad thing. The Watcher's all knowing, his experience of seeing worlds die everyday, has made him unsensible (from our point of view). That's not the case for Peggy.
Amidst all her adventures, however, perhaps she's also searching to avenge the love she lost, searching for her happy ending. In the movie Endgame, I have to admit she felt optional, like Steve wasn't meant to be there with her. But not now.
Tumblr media
I wish The Watcher told her she has a happy ending somewhere.
I don't know about you, but this episode...is my favourite ever from the series. It used to be the Strange Supreme one, but that's on the second place of the podium now.
We got to see queen Hela, drama prince/ actor Loki, king Thor. Bucky, NOT the Winter Soldier, and Steve, finally on the same page! Scarlet Witch!! Using her powers for good, not corrupted. All of them in cool costumes too. If things like these were on live action, I'd lose my f- mind, if I haven't already. :))
And now the green. The "rifts" that are tearing this world apart are very familiar in color.
Tumblr media
And this is not the only thing that's turning green, when it used to be multi-colored. The prism, too, the one from which The Watcher watches and narrates. And I'm not talking about the Time Stone. I'm talking about the tree of life, and how it might actually have a serious impact over everything. I mean, does Uatu know anything? And what was that decorated Yggradsil in the trailer, before the holidays?
Nevertheless, I think it's related in some way, and if it's not, don't blame me. I really like green.
That being said, thanks for reading <3

Ok guys
You listen here
Loki and Mobius DO love each other. Whether it’s platonic or romantic, they care deeply for one another and always have each others backs. Loki never thought anyone would love him. He had been alone for so long that he didn’t think he needed anyone but himself. But then, he met Mobius.
Mobius actively fought for Loki and believed in him when everyone else in the TVA refused to think he could change. He sacrificed his career and his lifestyle because he had faith in Loki. Heck, he punched a man for calling Loki his pet. And meanwhile, Loki had never felt this before with someone. He refused to believe that anyone could actually love and appreciate him. But he finally realized that there was one person who really cared for him. I believe that this relationship is really important, because it shows that anyone can change, no matter how far gone they are.
Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.

here are the photos i took for my newest altar updates!!! the new moon made my crystals feel so much better, which is a blessing.
y’all… i hardly know what to say. i made my first oath to Loki over a year ago, and i’ve gotten so much more from being on this path than i ever thought was possible for me to receive. i never knew a God would want to protect me.
but now, my life is all about them. i am fortunate enough that Loki watches over me and loves me. they are my sunny smile shining on a rainy day, my anchor in the stormy sea, and my candle in the dark.
i am in love with this deity. when i first started this path, i was so afraid to lean into it because i doubted myself. i was afraid of “doing it wrong.” (thanks BPD) BUT! over time i’ve gotten so much more comfortable as i’ve walked this path. somehow, Loki has patched holes in my heart that no one else could see; not even myself. recently, my true personality that was buried for years has finally come back.
i’m grateful to be alive. i’m grateful fate has aligned me with someone so good. 🖤
well anyway 😂 i just love Loki and stuff, thanks for coming to my TED talk :3

Tw mentions of sa/abuse/trauma
I was talking with Uncle Zeus tonight...5am
I asked if he wanted me to write something or go to bed, he wants me to write before bed.
Ooh boy, yknow im partially scared about being open here since ive gone so long being sorta super abused for opening my mouth about this, but i lost a lot to get here yknow.
Im not some dumbass pretending or role-playing, i lost family, friends, a girl i thought i loved more than anything, my religon crumbled before my eyes, ive been abused, assulted, forced into some nasty shit. All because i opened my mouth about this.
You dont belive me? Check divination, ask Zeus yourself, i dont care anymore because what else can be done to me. Nothing. Absolutely nothing. And i know why he wants me to speak, i was so afraid so anxious to join pagan group or talk on here so scared to be flamed or outcast.
What can you do to me that the ones i loved most havent already done. Nothing. Whats some online dramma if it means i can finally open my mouth and express the things ive seen and felt.
It's been 6 years now since Apollo appeared to me, when i was a devout christian in training to be a prophet of "god"
Do you know how long i ran frome this??? Do you have any idea how long i fought them how many other pantheons i ran to and was booted out of, how many times Loki downright pushed me back to the greek pantheon, essentially saying "yeah this isnt my kid"
So much doubt and fear so much pain.
For the people who fake it, why? Why. This is hell this hurts this aches this has brought me unimaginable pain. I wanted so bad to just be normal to just be literally a normal ass dude.
I have lived in constant torture for so long. Day and night nothing but violation and suffering. I am a shell of what i was. And i have to heal so, so much, and i will never be the same. And even with all of that, im happier now...than i ever was christian.
I actually feel loved by them, supported, cared for. I feel bad i fought them for so long about this, i feel guilty that for so many years i shut them off saying it was hubris while they constantly patiently guided me over and over and over proving again and again that it was true and i couldnt run forever.
Its ok
Im scared, but thats ok
I'll be ok. People are entitled to their belifes and i know mine is controversial i know i might not be taken as seriously even though i dedicated so much time so so much time meditating, learning divination, channleing, banishments, hellenism as a whole as well as greek mythos and even teaching, reiki healing, greek cultural studies and history i put forth so much time and effort and study because i doubt I'm who they say i am and i fear so much that i am lying that one day Zeus will smite me for my audacity.
But, they havent.
Instead I'm embraced, met with love, care, encouragement, they get exasperated when i try to fall back to being a follower, they chastize me for it, i cant worship i cant do shit that followers can i am outcast from pagan groups because im looked at as a fraud or a scammer or an idiot when ive dedicated so much time to studying and learning just desprately trying to understand why im like this.
And yknow what
Thats fine
Everyone has their path, everyone has a right to belive, and I've met other demigods, ive seen them and ive done divination and theyr legit.
And anyways this is my blog i should be able to say whatever i want
If i can say stupid bullshit 24/7 why cant i actually express what i genuinely belive and hold very close to myself.
I pledged myself, mind, body, and soul to Lord Zeus, King of the gods.
If he sees fault in my actions he has and will punish me. I am more and more confident every day in who exactly i am.
And ive been through too much bullshit to stay silent any longer.
Thats my ted talk

The difference here is that loki had finally found his glorious purpose, only for it to be taken away just as he reached for it. He finally found what he always longed for, not a crown or power, but a family. Friends, love around him. A lover, if you're a lokius shipper. Stephen strange had a pretty good life before Christine's death (and before he started dating christine, may i add, because he was okay without her, loki was not on the other hand), he'd found his glorious purpose with her, and because both of them had felt what it was like to belong, when they lost it, they tried for centuries just so they could feel home again.
Thank you for coming to my Ted talk
Remember in What If..? Season 1 when Doctor Strange spent centuries trying to save Christine?
Tumblr media
I definitely don’t know any other MCU character who spend centuries trying to save the love of their live. Nope not one!

how is s*ylvie not a mary sue?
I have been waiting YEARS for this question. (Well not years because Loki only came out (😉) like mere months ago, but you know what I mean).
To start off here's a definition of a "Mary Sue" so we are all on the same page.
Mary Sue: A Mary Sue is a type of fictional character, usually a young woman, who is portrayed as unrealistically free of weaknesses.
Now, the reason I was so excited to finally get a chance to answer this is because when there's a character I really love, the only thing I love to talk about more than their strengths is their flaws and weaknesses.
Because ALL good characters have them, and, to me, they just add to the loveability of the character. And Sylvie, despite what many people are saying, is certainly not an exception.
Tumblr media
One of the first flaws we notice about Sylvie is actually shown before we fully meet her. She is shown about twice in her first three main scenes that she is not the best strategist.
Although Sylvie is well versed in quick decision-making from her life on the run, she is still quite prone to errors in judgment. She gave the little French child a piece of candy which was a HUGE clue to her hideout which, ultimately, lead Loki and TVA to Roxxcart.
Sylvie would have known that the TVA would have searched the cathedral after she attacked that group of minutemen, and thus, would have easily found the child and the obviously period-inaccurate sweets.
The only thing I can think of to explain her actions was that the child caught her in the act, she worried they would spill the beans, gave the child candy to shut it up. A quick decision that didn't end up working in her favour.
Sylvie's poor strategies and planning are also shown WHEN SHE CLEARLY DIDN'T CHARGE HER TEMPAD FOR HER YEARS-IN-THE-MAKING-PLAN.
It's possible that the TemPad was only charged for the amount of trips Sylvie thought she would need. Hence, only one more trip out of the TVA after killing the Time Keepers. But even if this was the case, it shows an incredible lack of preparation on her part if things did go awry.
Tumblr media
This is one of the most interesting things about Sylvie that I really love; she seems to genuinely lack good strategist and sly behaviour. This hugely sets Sylvie apart from the most recognizable trait of our original Loki.
Apart from the finale, she is rarely deceptive when trying to achieve her goals. She doesn't ever try to pretend to be on the TVA's side, or charm her way in, or disguise herself as a minuteman.
No. Instead, she goes for the classic warrior approach; distract the enemy, and then use brute force to get to the Time Keeper's chamber and kill them.
TALK about under-prepared; homegirl legit at the time of her attack didn't even know that her powers were useless inside the TVA.
Tumblr media
I think Loki puts it perfectly:
Tumblr media
Sylvie isn't a good strategist. At least, not to the same extent Loki is. She's a fighter and often relies solely on physical skills to achieve her goals, often to her failure.
From this, we can deduct that Sylvie is impatient, reckless to a fault, and, often, idealistic about how her plans should work out. despite obviously not putting too much thought into them im sorry sylvie i love you but not knowing your magic wouldn't work in the tva is something i cant forgive.
These qualities (impatient, reckless, and idealistic) also weave themselves into her fighting style. I firstly want to be clear that I LOVE SYLVIE'S FIGHTING STYLE. Seriously, it's one of my favourite things about her.
Sylvie's a brawler, which is a product of obviously never being professionally trained like almost all our other MCU characters. What she knows, she's learnt on the street, her own personal battlefield.
However, a flaw of this is that she's is not as swift and quick on her feet as other character's like Loki.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
[Two gifs are pictured above.]
[First gif: Sylvie takes a swing at Loki with her sword. He dodges her attempt and locks her arms behind her back. Second gif: Sylvie lifts her foot to kick Ravonna, who grabs her leg and throws her to the ground.]
Both gifs above picture moments in this six-episode show where Sylvie uses her full body towards this one move. These moves leave her horrendously open to her opponents' advances, which ultimately leads to her being briefly overpowered in each fight.
The last point I'll make is, admittedly, a little bit of a sneaky cheat as I mention one of Sylvie's strengths, her perceptiveness, but I love this parallel so much I couldn't not include it.
So we all remember the kiss scene. Sylvie used Loki's emotions as a distraction so that she can get the upper hand in the fight. (Clarification: I do not believe the kiss was meaningless to Sylvie but I do also believe that one of the intentions with the kiss was for it to be used as a distraction.)
The thing is, how did Sylvie know that this would work on Loki? She's already known him to be incredibly aware of his surroundings and virtually impossible to trick.
The answer: she knows he's a Loki. And she knows she's a Loki. She knows that Lokis have a tendency to get easily distracted by their emotions which can cause them to lose focus of their surrounding.
How does she know that? Because it's happened to her before.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
It's canon, Sylvie knew the kiss would distract Loki because she knew he would feel the same way she felt when he comforted her in the Time-Keepers' chamber which thus made her blissfully unaware of Ravonna approaching.
All in all, Sylvie does have beautiful flaws and we love her for it, thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.
Now, someone play John Legend's 'All of Me';
'Cause all of me Loves all of you Love your curves and all your edges All your perfect imperfections

#seriously though it would've been amazing if the start of the film involved loki warning people about thanos so they could prep#and by prep i mean come together as a team#and maybe forgive loki? acknowledge what he's been through? throw in thor defending loki and insisting he himself was at fault too?#yeah#that way when loki dies the avengers form twice because of loki#AND it's a meaningful death because he's remembered#maybe get thanos to throw loki in vormir because he won't throw gamora (if we wanna say abuse is love smh... OR he throws BOTH)#lets say throwing gamora doesn't work#that red skull mirrors the ''it wasn't love'' line#that thanos says during the fight on Titan that not being able to get one stone won't stop him from his mission#that Loki is on Titan fighting too and he hears this and he hesitates#that he hesitates and Thanos snaps Tony's armour and impales him and he tells Strange to give the stone#but Stephen tells him they need more time#and Loki doesn't want them to die so he says ''you have the time stone! make more time!'' and Stephen says he wont bc there's only 1 way#and Loki says stfu and offers himself in place of Tony's life (isn't that how thanos works? a life for a life? half n half? 50%?)#''it's the soul stone isn't it? you made the sacrifice and it didn't work.'' *thanos turns to him* ''spare his life and take mine.''#and why would thanos take the deal?#because becAUSE BECAUSE 'if there's one thing you love it's power' and that thanos had power over him in the past goes unsaid on tony's face#BAM thank you for coming to another Ted Talk about how the iw/eg saga SUCKED#and then on vormir loki could get his final avengering words out with saying “you’re going to lose” followed with Thanos' amused “Am I?”#“It’s in their nature” “Your heroes are scattered your life is forfeit... where is my disadvantage Asgardian?”#''You're missing the point. There is no throne there is no version of this where you come out a saviour of the universe--''#'--and if they don't save half the world you can be damn sure they'll avenge it' 'i have an army' 'they have a hulk. and im not asgardian'#maybe he reveals his jotun skin here? maybe he does try to fight back now that the others are safer away and he'll save them more time?#he fights the futile fight and loses and Thanos reaches a hand down towards him lifting him by the neck “You will never be a god'' Loki says#loki simply doesn't interject and also gets to use jotun ice powers to maybe make an ice knife and attack (parallel to Laufey in Thor 1?)#that's it#that's the entire rewrite

Okay. So I'm looking at jelsa edits on pinterest cause why not? I'm bored. And I'm looking at the comments and- jesus..... all the hate...? Why all the hate?
These are gorgeous edits. Why feel the need to hate on a peice of art just because you don't want two CARTOON characters to be together?
It's all "she's way older than him this", "you're just shipping them for the ice powers" that. Okay listen up.
First. It has been fully confirmed that the MOVIE Jack frost from rise of the Guardians is 18. Plus an extra 300 years later on. In the first frozen movie elsa is 21. Okay. I see how, to some people, that's weird.
And 18 and a 21 year old. Okay yeah.
But not only is it just a 3 year age gap, but there are three more factors.
1: back then, in the 1700s or 1800s, old rich men of 50 were marrying 12 year Olds. And I bring this historically accurate factor up for a children's movie because thats what these haters are bringing up. Just to hate on the ship. And I'm finally blowing my top here.
2: legally, 18 means you're an adult. I guarantee that if Jack was the 21 year old and elsa was 18 or 19, NO ONE WOULD HAVE A MAJOR PROBLEM WITH IT. But no. The woman being 3 years older is too crazy. However in REAL LIFE I've met couples where the woman was well into her 40s and the dude was in his 20s. And no one says ANYTHING.
Chew on that for a while.
And 3: THESE ARE CARTOON CHARACTERS. Why are we all in an uproar about people shipping two beautifully crafted characters?
And then when the fanfom tries to defend itself by saying,
"Well actually we ship them because their personalities would complement each other and not just because of the similar look and powers"
The haters argue! And say stuff like,
"No thats not true. You just ship them for the powers." Like...
Hon... did I not just say why I shipped them?
And then people go and hate on beautiful prices of artwork just because they don't like these people together.
I don't know about any of you but if i hear or see something on the internet I don't like, I just leave the image.
Just cause I don't like the ship jackunzel or helsa doesn't mean I should hate on someone's beautifully crafted edit.
What would I gain from that?
So why do I see these people doing it to us?
And it's not just jelsa that's getting hate...?
I don't like loki and sylvie together either but I'm not gonna make it known by writing a hateful comment on something that someone spent time and effort on doing.
Why are we all hating on each other?
I appreciate and love every one of you, no matter who you ship or don't ship.
It shouldn't matter!
This is gonna get me a lot of hate and I know that but I feel like it needs to be said in one big old blurb.
Thanks for coming to my Ted talk. Have a great day/night

OMG IS IT TIME FOR MY THOUGHTS ON THE MOON KNIGHT FINALE?
IT IS!!!! FIRST OFF
- Oh my GOD I’ve never been a simp for Oscar Issac (the only man I’ll simp for is Andrew Garfield) but hot fucking damn this mans acting,,, I adore how quickly he was able to change both expressions and accents during the final asylum scene!! “What if we don’t agree, doc” “Yea, wut if we dun’t agree?” AND WHEN THE GATES OPENED UP IN THE DESERT YOU CAN LITERALLY SEE THAT THEY SMILE DIFFERENTLY SJBGIWGIW OH MY GOD
- AND AND the way that Steven Moon Knight and Marc Moon Knight literally worked together during the fight, how Steven’s weapon bounced off Harrow’s staff and Marc caught it on the way back?? The way Steven gets thrown into a shop window and Marc flies back out of it?? Holy shit?? I love??
- I don’t know the name of Layla’s actor but she did such a fantastic job too switching very quickly between Layla and Taweret, the way her back snapped upwards so unnaturally I’m in love
- Also Jake really be out here like “oh yeah I’m gonna save you from mortal danger and then leave like I never did it LMAOO” what an icon, how nice of him to protect his two fellow alters even when they LITERALLY LEFT HIM IN THE SARCOPHAGUS HAHAHAH
- The GOLFISH!!! I’M SOBBING!!! We started out,,, we started out with just Steven, one of the two (known) alters, half. His first goldfish had only one fin, he could only half swim. Then, when we begin to learn that Marc and Steven are sharing the same body, and during this time Marc got them a new fish. One fish, but with two fins. Except at the end,,, at thE END THEY HAVE TWO GOLDFISH TO REPRESENT THAT THEY’RE NOT TWO HALVES OF ONE WHOLE BUT THAT THEY ARE DIFFERENT PEOPLE THAT WORK AND LIVE TOGETHERRRRRR AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
-I’m also SO impressed that the finale didn’t feel hella rushed and stuff?? Loki’s ending fucking sucked, Hawkeye and TFATWS’s endings were a little rushed, WandaVision’s was the only other good one but this one pulled it off for the most part!!
- 10/10 loved every second of it
- Just all of the concepts in it were things I really enjoyed, I absolutely love mind-melting shit (like Steven waking up in places he doesn’t know, the entire memory chase segment, how the asylum had so many callbacks to previous episodes) and the undertones of a consistent theme, which in this case was Egyptian religion, which is arguably one of the coolest
- Banger show I loved it thank you for coming to my ted talk
- In conclusion, read my point about the goldfish again
