IRAN LAUNCHES MASSIVE COMBINED MISSILE AND DRONE STRIKES ON ISRAEL, US INTERCEPTS OVER 100 DRONES

Israeli media is reporting the arrival of dozens of missiles and drones fired from Iran, most of which they claim were intercepted.

According to the Zionist media, while no one was killed in the Iranian strikes, at least one young girl was wounded by shrapnel from an intercepted drone and was taken to a nearby hospital.

Already, Israeli officials are calling for counterstrikes, while the American media refuses to acknowledge the attack on the consulate building of the Iranian embassy that led to the current round of attacks.

The strikes represented the first time Iran has launched direct strikes on "Israel".

Occupation authorities claim that none of drones launched by the Iranians made it through the occupation's air defenses, some missiles succeeded in hitting their targets, while at least 20 missiles never made it to the borders of occupied Palestine.

According to one Israeli official, more than 200 drones and missiles were fired into the occupied Palestinian territories in all.

For now, while the Biden administration continues to reaffirm public support for the Israeli occupation, privately, the President has told Netanyahu he won't back an Israeli counter to the counterstrikes.

Iran's air defense force has confirmed Israeli attacks on positions in the provinces of Tehran, Khuzestan, and Ilam, yet asserting that the strikes caused only limited damage. In a statement, Iran's air defense force declared that the country's integrated air defense system successfully intercepted and countered the aggression and that the attacks resulted in minor damage. Earlier reports from security sources indicated that the loud sounds heard by some residents near Tehran were due to the activation of the air defense systems.

However, there were no reports of warplanes or missile sounds, and no fire or smoke was observed in the city. Syria TV, a Syrian opposition media outlet based in Turkey, reported on Wednesday that Israeli ground forces were deployed using ropes as part of the Israeli strike in the Hama region on Sunday, although Israeli aircraft didn’t land in the area. The report claimed that Israeli drones carried out strikes to prevent entry to the area where the forces landed. The unprecedented Israeli operation in Syria reportedly included several steps: starting with intense airstrikes in the area after which Israeli forces infiltrated an Iranian military complex after lowering from helicopters to the ground and ending with troops seizing documents and arresting Iranians inside of the facility for questioning. According to the report, clashes at the site led to the deaths of three Syrians and injured others. Two to four Iranians were reportedly captured by Israeli forces. Sources indicated the Syrian regime blocked rescue teams from reaching the area following the attack. The bodies of military casualties were taken to an undisclosed location and their fate is unknown, while wounded civilians were evacuated to Masyaf National Hospital. Sources also suggested the Syrian regime or elements within it may have facilitated the strike and troop deployment. The report also noted that a committee of inquiry was established following the attack. In recent weeks, Syrian radars and air defense systems have been subjected to Israeli strikes, leading to the regime’s inability to monitor its airspace. According to Greek researcher Eva Koulouriotis, the forces raided a security complex belonging to the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) in an operation that lasted about an hour, during which they entered the facility, seized equipment and documents, rigged the building with explosives and destroyed it with additional airstrikes. Israel’s Institute for National Security Studies head, Major General (res.) Tamir Hayman who previously served as the head of the IDF Intelligence Directorate, hinted the operation was “a complex commando raid that presents abilities to destroy a distant underground facility.”

Pakistan launched a series of missile strikes inside Iranian territory targeting what it says are terrorist groups near its border with the Islamic Republic.

According to Pakistani authorities, the strikes are in retaliation for recent missile strikes by Iran inside its own territory.

Iranian sources say the strikes targeted the Sistan and Baluchestan provinces in the southeast of Iran.

Pakistani authorities said they had no intention of escalating the situation, while the Iranian authorities have condemned the strikes.

"At 4:50 a.m., Thursday, several explosions were heard in the area of Saravan city, and after the investigations, we found out that Pakistan had targeted one of Iran's border villages with a missile," a security source told Mehr News Agency.

Today, 27th of July 2024, at around 7pm local time, a soccer field in Israel was struck by a missile of the Lebanese Hezbollah militia, which is a militia that effectively controls Lebanon due to their media influence and force of arms exceeding that of the democratic Lebanese government. Hezbollah, just like Hamas, Houthi rebels, Popular Mobilization Forces, Islamic Resistance in Iraq etc. depend on funding and weapons supplies by the theocratic leaders of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, the military dictatorship of Iran.

The theocrats in Iran are rich due to their production of oil and connections with russia and China. They totally oppress their people and are actually very unpopular among Iranians. They have the capability to build nuclear weapons. ISIS are enemies of theirs, as they style themselves around a different branch of Islam.

Today's attack was a provocation by Hezbollah, who have been preparing for war with Israel for months, just as Israel has.

The United States, Israel's ally, have been continuously attempting all means of de-escalation, especially to get humanitarian support and protection of all civilians enacted. However, they can only go so far until Israel blackmails them by communicating that efforts against Israeli interests will 'hurt their alliance'.

This missile attack on a soccer field where children were playing football, which, as of right now, has badly injured nine of them, was deliberately targeted to enrage Israel. Israel’s success in defending against large-scale Iranian missile and drone strikes from Iranian territory on April 13 underscores the vulnerabilities that Ukrainian geography and the continued degradation of Ukraine’s air defense umbrella pose for Ukrainian efforts to defend against regular Russian missile and drone strikes. The Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) Aerospace Force launched roughly 170 Shahed-136/131 drones, 30 cruise missiles, and 120 ballistic missiles at targets in Israel in a strike package similar to recent Russian strike packages against Ukraine. Russian forces have experimented with cruise missile, ballistic missile, and drone strikes of varying sizes and combinations, and are now routinely conducting large, combined strikes against targets in Ukraine. Iran’s similarly large, combined strike package was far less successful than recent Russian strikes in Ukraine, however, with Israeli air defenses intercepting almost all of the roughly 320 air targets except several ballistic missiles. Iranian drones and missiles had to cross more than 1,000 kilometers of Iraqi, Syrian, and Jordanian airspace before reaching Israel, affording Israel and its allies hours to identify, track, and intercept missiles and drones on approach to Israel. Russian forces launch drones and missiles from throughout occupied Ukraine and in close proximity to Ukraine from within Russia, affording Ukrainian air defenders a fraction of the time that Israel and its allies leveraged to successfully blunt the mass Iranian missile and drone strike. Israel also has a robust air defense umbrella that is responsible for responding to potential attacks across shorter borders with its neighbors, the Gaza Strip, and the West Bank; whereas, Ukraine has increasingly degraded air defense capabilities to employ against missile and drone strikes across a much wider frontline in Ukraine as well as its international borders with Belarus and Russia. Ukraine also currently lacks the capability to conduct air-to-air interception with fixed wing aircraft as Israel and its allies did on the night of April 13. Ukraine’s large size compared to Israel makes it more difficult for Ukraine to emulate the density of air defense coverage that Israel enjoys, especially amid continued delays in US security assistance.
