It's beautiful to me #well anyway *tries to move on to the rest of life now the brief obsession has passed*#obviously oru would be fire-type tho and qifrey would be water-type and they set off together and traded their starters etc.....it goes on

#(The tags are gonna be a bit of an essay I apologize :P )#I only realized late that I was mixing the designs of different references that all had slightly diff accessoires #So I just decided to add them all #I always say I want to draw more bright colours because I love them so much and then I never do because I'm bad at colour palettes #I'm always super impressed with artists who can make them all work SO well together #With that out of the way OMG I LOVE THESE CHARACTER DESIGNS SO MUCH!!!!#Had to stop myself from going into the askbox multiple times to gush about them; because I wanted to wait until now #The colours are so good! Why is he so hard to draw!!! What!! Like I know his clothes are complex but no his face!#He's got a really cute and difficult-to-draw face! Why! I cannot figure him out #It's probably the do with the shape and size of his head...his hair........ I really enjoy fluff and he's Kind of but Not Really fluffy??#And his white streaks aren't intuitive to me - but Larry's floofs are??? I don't know #The only thing I can figure it that I Kind Of draw Dexter the same way - Larry's streaks are like an exaggerated version of how I floof Dex #And then a suit is second nature by now but I've already talked about my difficulties with Kabu's clothes lol #Didn't stop me from putting him out front for this hug tho! It's cute... Kabu asking Larry to come play with him but Larry has stuff to do #May or may not have felt a little that way myself - made most of these doodles during Requestober haha so busy!#The brightly shining brilliant glow boyfriend setup-payoff returns ♥ He glows like a fire! Overwhelming!#I still really love that glow cutaway style around the low-bouncing flower haha - just don't draw there and it gives the impression! Fun :)#Hugs <3 Unsurprisingly been in the want of cute fluff and sweetness and hugs were very on the menu #It really is fun to think of Larry being just a Little weird about how much he feels for Kabu #Acting childish as that part of him hasn't had the chance to grow and mature! Stuck awkward and gangly in otherwise full development #Feelings so big and strong and immediate for the first time in too too long <3 Gotta express them all somehow #And ending off with a bit of silliness haha - was Kabu prompting him just to hear such an answer? someone showed me a Chirpy Chips-style cover of Rasputin earlier that was so slow and low-energy that it actually made me a little mad. so like any reasonable person in my situation, i dropped everything and spent an hour feverishly making this little thing to prove that that song COULD be arranged in a way that better fits the vibe of a Splatoon turf war. it turns out spite is a surprisingly efficient fuel for me, whoops

maybe i'll polish this up properly and cover the full song eventually? would be cool to find a way to get some actual Splatoon-style vocals in there too, but idk if that's really possible in openMPT, so for now i just kinda rolled with whatever misc instruments i had on hand lol

ngl gang I finished both my dissociation fixation games and got a rejection letter for a job I was a shoe-in for after a month-long, three-pronged review/interview process and I am not having a great time

#finishing dredge's dlcs and dave the diver within the same week was a mistake #where am I gonna find another free chill game to dissolve into #at least daima's coming out friday that'll cure me probably #lays on the floor I am so so grateful for freelance and commissions I truly cannot overstate that #but I haven't had full-time work for what I actually do for a living in Nineteen Months because of stupid ass corporate greed #Ninteen Months of telling myself I'm still a member of this industry despite. No work.#And this rejection letter was for a fraction of what I do for a living. I got told they were very impressed and also I did not get the job.#Idk man like idek what it is I do for a living anymore bc I don't have a living anymore #I've been a member of my union for *four years* and I don't have a living anymore lol #anyway. /vent /negativity etc you get it #I've got stuff I need to work on and I'm beyond grateful for that. I'm just bummed out. I was so close to being okay again.#THIS CLOSE to having some semblance of stability.#icb I got scruffed an inch from the finish line on something that by all accounts I should've been overqualified to do #And both Ganondorf and Vegeta continue to be relatable and so real for having exhausted rage-induced breakdowns over that exact thing lol

it's been tuesday for me for, like, 10 minutes, and *hiding from my wips* i started a new fic and i don't know where exactly this is going but I'm in too deep to back out now (this will either be out this week or it will never leave the dropbox lol) so have this with no other information.

Eddie says, still trying not to cry, blinking up at Buck as he takes a step backward as if his words had physically hit him. The words definitely feel punched out of Eddie. It hurts him to say it and he knows how much it hurts Buck to hear it. Maybe more than anything else Eddie has ever said. Because this isn’t some heat-of-the-moment thing where they’re trying to hurt each other. It’s not something screamed out out of anger that both of them know they didn’t mean it. He’s telling the truth, one that hurts him to admit, and he can tell by the look on Buck’s face that he knows. Can tell because everything about Buck seems to crumble once the words register. His shoulders drop, his fists uncurl, his eyes water, his lips start to tremble. Eddie also knows he’s not much better. His eyes are stinging, and the knot in his throat hurts, and he kind of wants to crumble to the ground right there.

my ass is LEARNING!!!!!! Still working on the tutorial buuut it's getting late so I'll pick it back up tomorrow morning, then see if I can model something I tried to model a few years back (and utterly failed at because my ass could not figure out blender and refused to tutorial) so yippeee!!
