Satine froze. She knew very well who was standing behind her; because only now did he allow himself to move closer, until she could feel the heat of the body at her back, but not the body itself. 

“Obi-Wan,” she said. “I would have thought you’d be forward enough to announce your presence.” 

“What you're looking at is classified information,” Obi-Wan said, removing his hand. 

Satine turned around, so that they were standing almost nose to nose. 

“Is it,” she said. “I had no idea. Anakin told me I could go wherever I pleased.” 

Obi-Wan closed his eyes for a long moment, looking unbearably exhausted. “Of course Anakin said that. You never knew him…before. And in case you haven’t figured this out, he likes to cause problems.” 

“I did gather that,” Satine said. 

Oh, no. Now there was no more easy conversation. 

The air grew immediately awkward.

So here it is, Chapter 1 AAAA!!!! Time destroyed Four in that poll omg, the ancient technique always works >:). They both cheated in their own ways tho. I loved that almost everyone agreed that Time should win in his corn maze regardless of the paths XDD.

And never bet with Legend, he always manages to win. Ravio is proud of Mr Hero >:·P

Trying to be better (it´s a process)

Oh man, I feel like this one warrants a bit of an explanation, yeah? first of all, I love Crystal, that's why this comic exists.

While I enjoy the common fanon interpretation of her supporting payneland, I think at least her initial reaction would be... less than ideal. I mean, she was a less than ideal person until very recently, and now with her memories back, I think some of her old thinking patterns would resurface occasionally. Not to mention, she is a teenager, and one with neglectful parents, at that. Wouldn't surprise me if she had some abandonment issues.

This is not a reflection of what she feels towards Charles, and definitely not what she feels towards Edwin. This isn't about them. This is a girl lashing out because she felt rejected, but still being able to realize this and stop herself.

So this is not me hating on her. This is me loving a character and wanting to explore her feelings a bit. Hope it's at least interesting!

i think a lot about john and ian and their strange, implicit estrangement. it is never explicitly addressed but it is there. blunt going out of his way to say that ian was a good agent but john was a better one. alex always being compared to john despite ian being the man who raised him. ian never telling alex anything about his parents. john never sparing a thought for ian in the snakehead coda. ash being chosen to be the best man at john's wedding and alex's godfather instead of ian. ian being recruited to mi6 straight out of university while john went military and none of it mattering in the end because it was still john who was chosen for the scorpia mission, john who died the hero, john who got blown up and martyred while ian's own death barely registered. you're twentysomething years old and your older brother has just been murdered after being better than you at the one thing you are defined by and you will spend fourteen years raising his son, and none of it will matter. here's a question: why does ian hate being called 'uncle' so much? here's another: can you still be an uncle without a brother?

So I have this idea for my touch-starved, ghoul reverts to romantic Cooper fic of him taking her on this "pretend date" for "educational purposes only" where he takes her to various places, like a restaurant and theater, and in detail just describes what it would be like if he took her out on a *real* date before the war. You know, cause she's... curious and stuff. Of course.

But he doesn't just talk about it. He also does things like surprise her by ACTUALLY going out and finding a nice meal for them to have and setting up an old television set so they can actually watch a movie in the theater. He even goes out of his way to set up some nice lighting and clean, comfortable seating (but like in a way where it looks natural cause he doesn't want her to knowww)

Oh and before they go, she wants to go to this old ruined department store and get a nice dress because she wants to look nice for this totally-not-a-real-date and he also finds her a nice necklace but you know it's jUST A PRETEND DATE FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. Okayyyyyy??? (She can't get him to wear a suit though. But that's okay cause we like the dirty cowboy look don't we 😜)

Maybe I shouldn't be spoiling my fic but this gives me so many feels and I just couldn't keep them to myself so I had to share them with you all. Here you go.
