It's my 3 year anniversary on Tumblr 🥳

For my 100th post I thought I’d share this little milestone and a quick story.

Fun fact I’ve been part of the pitch perfect fandom for years (at least 7) and I’ve read hundreds if not thousands of great works from many authors who have become my favorites. It was during 2020 when I decided to start writing though because I wanted a creative outlet at the time. So I trashed my old tumblr in ‘21 (may they rest in peace 🥲) and created one dedicated to my new journey. I hope in these last few years I’ve given people as many laughs and feel good moments as I’ve been given and I hope to continue doing just that. Even if I’m the last person in the fandom and I’m just writing for myself.

I think it should be said this whole thing with the book is for fun.

At the end of the day, unfortunately Gravity Falls is a dead show, it’s been dead for years. It’s great that we have new content, but we have to remember at this point we’re really only to expect scraps. We aren’t owed anything as a fandom and we should not go at Alex for any reason beyond joking support. I haven’t seen anyone do that but I’m just saying. This is all for entertainment and fun.

There seems to be a major connection between TBoB and The Great Gatsby, the second being about letting go of the past so it doesn’t haunt you. The timer on the website? The negatives? The dead ends? Maybe it’s Alex’s way of saying this is the end. To let go. To move on.

don’t take this in an anti-je(ss)tra way because i do not mean like that (truly i love jesstra), but like… i think people need to realize that the scene in season 2 where Petra is opening up to Jesse is NOT inherently romantic at all. it absolutely is cute to interpret it that way if you want, but it kind of seems like a lot of fans take it to be strictly romantic, especially ones who are upset and don’t like je(ss)tra and/or didn’t like that it was a big part of season 2. but genuinely there are zero romantic undertones if you don’t choose to see it that way. the MAIN point of the scene is to represent Petra’s desperation to keep her friends close and her conflicting feelings on that knowing Romeo’s whole deal with his friends — which is a huge part of the season’s plot and her arc in general. but aside from that… she’s just communicating how important Jesse’s friendship is to her. friendship like that does exist and it does not need to have any romantic implication behind it.

Two very unfortunate (or hilarious) things about the german version of the murderbot diaries is that not only did they manage to translate the title All Systems Red as Systemausfall (eng. system failure) when one future installation turned out to be named System Collapse, they also managed to turn Rogue Protocol into Exit Szenario (no need to translate) right before Exit Strategy came out.

hey, how would you define forcefem? because I like the idea of being forced to look like a girl, but I still see myself as a dude internally so any sort of permanent changes I guess is kinda disconcerting to me. (sorry if this is kinda weird, its my first real ask on tumblr)

Mhm! I think forcefem has 2 big categories (with plenty of sub categories

1) Aimed at cuties who like the Gender Euphoria, the fantasy of someone turning you into the girl you always were, grabbing your head feeding you hrt, buying you a new wardrobe telling you you’re loved and beautiful, sometimes they do it with force, sometimes they only give a gentle nudge and you’ll start running

1 is wholesome :3

2) Is aimed at cuties who like the Humilation, the frilly dresses, the pink bows, the hard to walk in shoes, cuties who want to be a toy, someone to be made fun of, powerless and pretty and nothing more then a doll, degraded and praised for who they have been turned into, not a woman, a Girl

2 is hot! I personally prefer 2 in a kinky context, but I definitely love and value 1 a lot too!

(If you feel your tastes lie outside these 2 main categories please tell me!!! Or if you feel my definition is lacking for another way talk to me too!!! I want to understand forcefem and why people love it!!!)

Now for a simple definition you’d end up with something really broad: Forcefem is the kink or fantasy of being forced (by a person, government or anything out of the POV characters control) to become more feminine

Which kinda tells you nothing!

But establishing what people like in forcefem is a lot more useful! (To me at least)

Now going back to you anon: you’re in an interesting spot, I’ve got 3 suggestions

1) reflect on what specifically you like about forcefem, the humilation? The unconditional love? The loss of control? The cute outfits? Maybe make a list off all the forcefem stories and posts that really stuck with you, what do they have in common? What does being forced to be a girl mean to you? Why is it hot?

2) truly consider that you might be a girl! Maybe get some distance from kink for a little while! See how you feel if I call you anon a Cutie! You’re Good Girl for considering it right now

I’m sure those articles written by ex-terfs looking to deradicalise other terfs do occasionally help, and honestly if you’re an ex-terf I think you are morally obligated to berate the bigots you used to call comrades out of their horrendous belief systems, but whenever I read those articles it’s clear to me that these people still view trans people as research specimens to debate over, they’ve just generously shifted over to the side of “i think exterminating this minority group is bad”

Some fun facts about them: they’re native! Specifically they could be from the Salishan (but I don’t know too much so I leave it ambiguous) and are half Filipino, born and raised in British Columbia, Canada around Vancouver. They were raised by their mom and brothers, then moving to dahlia for college.

They originally planned to secure a high end job in Vancouver just going to California for school but they met David. They still visit their family as often as they can.

They’re 5’4, the shortest listener! Aklag is still beefy and could definitely throw David over their head. Their callouses are from being raised on a farm, and they’re starting to fade now.

I took them out of another story I made a while ago so I’m still trying to tweak them seamlessly so I’ll actually maybe probably not but make a backstory sheet for my listeners?
