I really want to send my original story that the first step of Kitsugi became my writing muse for, but since i submitted it as part of the competition I cannot put it up anywhere on the internet in the small chance that I might get flagged for copyright infringment for my own story

OOF, yeah, that’s a very rough hand of it. I’ve seen those posts where it’s like, people getting dragged in for plagiarizing their own work. Like getting dragged into an office about the work they stole and then the work pulled up is just stuff they put on the internet. But you should know that the mere act of writing something and making it real from your head is creation and that basically makes you god so congrats on being god and be very proud of yourself

how are you so in love with yourself...this is not me accusing you of narcissism or smth i genuinely am in awe of how much you seem to like yourself and be in love with yourself and I try so hard to be like you and do that too but i fail every single time...i really really want to know how I could be like this too because i know it is one of the biggest things stopping me from achieving happiness

Not sure if this is a ubiquitous experience, but for me personally affirmations can only go so far. There’s always been a direct correlation between me doing action-based things and my self-esteem increasing, so I try to keep my promises to myself (study at x time, work out at y time, just doing whatever I need to do even if I don’t have the motivation for it). Someone told me that self-esteem comes w doing esteemable things, and I’ve never forgotten that since. What someone thinks about me (including the gargoyle voice in my head lol) won’t faze me if I have tangible accomplishments under my belt I can refer back to on bad days

Still haven’t finished hbomber guy but I’m really angry about James somerton. Like I’m not going to pretend oh I always saw this coming bc no I didn’t. The only reason I didn’t attempt to financially support him bc I can’t afford it.

There have always been a couple of things that made me ick but for some reason I never added them up.

Like I didn’t like the very woe is me attitude he brings consistently or I noticed a couple of time that he would be sexist and dress it up by saying white women which is a pretty common way to get away with misogyny. But for some reason I never put them together which I’m very embarrassed about tbh. Especially bc I had no inkling about the plagiarism issues. I have for the record never seen his twitter or livestreams.

And idk I just wanted to talk about it. It’s stupid how parasocial relationships work and I didn’t think I had a big one there are plenty of his videos I just haven’t watched and yet I feel very hurt by this. And more than that I feel hurt on behalf of those he stole from.

i’m really sorry to post this, but i am struggling a lot right now and i could use some help. my job search has come to a standstill because i no longer have a reliable means of transportation. i have been using what little money i have left to help buy food for my family. i don’t know what i’m going to do once it’s all gone
