To celebrate our victory, the second of our outposts sent us some luciferium, which we will sell ASAP.

i have Discovered that another root of the ongoing struggle i have within myself over going to Ye Olde Local Medieval Garb Shoppe is Ye Olde Feare of Being Perceived

they had a holiday sale day recently with a great discount available, and cookies being sold, and I knew what I would go and look at, and then i didn't go because I had no way of knowing if/when the little shop would be busy enough I could avoid their friendliness (and also it was Pouring Buckets and hitting Walmart and the library was quite enough rain for me)

but! today they put up some sale items on their instagram! and I claimed a belt I've been wanting! and i'm going to pick it up tomorrow or friday and i have a Goal a Mission a Script for being perceived and it will be brief and momentary and most of all DOABLE i'm very excited and i will have a belt i can theoretically put a mug strap on :DDD

I suppose now is as good a time as any to mention that Jut has level 20 melee skill with a burning passion for it (if you couldn't already tell).

On the other hand, Alistair doesn't have passions for anything yet, but still fares better than Jut does. Good job, Alistair. I love you!

Also, R.I.P. Madelene. One-shotted by a deadpan android with no emotional investment in this fight... what a way to go.

Anyway, Jut tanked the sanguophage while Alistair cleaned up the thralls and now the Sanguophage is in custody. Alistair was uninjured, and I think Jut has magic fungoid (or maybe creepjoiner?) powers that make his wounds auto-tend to themselves so he was shockingly fine after all that. The only other injuries...

... Were the Jones twins, who caught a couple of stray bullets while they stood on the sidelines for moral support or something, idk.

They're fine, though. A bit of coffee and nutrient paste and they'll be back to work in no time.
