Today for the first time in my life, I actually stood up for myself in an assertive manner against a family member. Just flat out told them I'm not doing that when you want it done and if you want it done at all then you're going to wait for me, and that I'm doing that on MY schedule, not theirs. I wasn't nice. I was just firm. Freaked them the hell out. This doesn't sound like a big deal in the grand scheme of things, but it's big to me. I'm 30 and I'm done living my life by everyone else's schedule to the point where I have no life of my own. I feel ALIVE.

Between appointments - Sunday x Reader
Tumblr media
Tags: soft angst, hints at unrequited love, gn reader Notes: This takes place between the meeting with Aventurine and the confrontation with Gallagher. Not a lot happens in this. Should be 2.2 spoiler free Feed this to an AI and I'm feeding you to Acanthaster planci Minors, ageless, blank blogs; you'll be blocked on sight
In your eyes, it was impossible to miss how affected Sunday was by the negotiations with the IPC's representative. His hand had been so tightly clenched behind his back that you'd worried blood would soon stain his pristine gloves. Once it was clear his 'guests' had left for good, you slowly exited the hidden nook you'd been tucked away in for most of their discussion.
"Sir? Can I-" your voice faltered for a moment, seeing him tense as if he'd been snapped out of his thoughts, "can I do anything for you?"
A sigh left the man, back straightening before he turned to meet your gaze, the same smile as always upon his lips. The sight only made your stomach sink further, having watched from the shadows long enough that his impending response was obvious. Consistency was key to maintaining order, and during your year of serving The Family, he had presented himself as nothing less than a perfect leader.
"Your concern warms my heart, but rest assured, there is nothing I need at the present save for locating the individual responsible for these unfortunate circumstances," his voice sounded somewhat strained, yet the smile remained.
A beat of silence passed between the two of you, your gaze drawn towards the blue ribbons adorning his shoulder, one of them having slid down. Without thought, your hands reached out and fixed it, ignoring the feeling of feathers tickling your skin.
"It didn't seem to go particularly well? It's rare that you turn to-"
"My suspicions were confirmed, that is good enough."
It always made your heart clench when he invoked Their presence, knowing it wore at his heart, but from the firmness in his tone, you gathered it had been more than necessary. He nodded his head and your body obliged without much thought, stepping backwards while he whispered a word of thanks, wings folded a little more than usual. No doubt the confrontation had been strenuous.
"Your suspicions?"
You knew asking was treacherous territory, but the words had already seared your tongue in the meager seconds of hesitation.
"While The IPC is undoubtedly seeking to take advantage of this turmoil, nothing in their representative's conduct led me to believe they are the ones responsible. Merely profiting on the tribulations of others as usual."
His hand had already gone behind his back again. Would he start plucking out his feathers as well if this went on long enough? It was no secret that you harbored romantic feelings for the Oak Family head, and lulling yourself into a belief that your presence calmed Sunday had been easy enough.
"But that doesn't mean you're out of ideas, does it?"
Enigmatic as always, he shook his head softly, faint traces of a smile dancing upon his lips, although it didn't reach his eyes. It was hardly unexpected that you were kept in the dark, as a regular member you had no claim to such knowledge. However, that didn't mean being perpetually unable to help with anything meaningful didn't feel like a knife twisting in your heart.
"Sunday, you know I'm here to help you, right?"
"I assure you, I am well aware. I would, however, prefer to keep any unnecessary involvement out of this."
His words might as well have been a thousand pins. He'd begun moving around the table, gloved fingers trailing along the edge of the polished wood. His wings had spread back out as well, a telltale sign that you were speaking to the family head, not the man you yearned to hold.
"Let me at least prepare you a cup of tea, or perhaps a-"
"There is no need to fuss. I have another matter to take care of shortly, and it is something preferably done alone," he'd turned his head just enough to give you a pointed look.
A sigh left your lips, fingers anxiously fidgeting as you went around the grand table, desperate to cross the chasm keeping him away.
"I'm sorry, I know I shouldn't have listened in. But for once, I want to know what's going on, you haven't been yourself since Miss Robin…" your voice trailed off, the soft rustling of feathers accompanied by a wave of uneasiness making you hold your tongue for a moment, "If telling me is out of the question, at least let me take care of you, however fleeting time may be."
"Whatever debt you felt was owed to The Family for taking you in, I assure you, They have long since acknowledged your sincerity and hard work. You are free to enjoy this sweet dream," there was that firmness again, how you wished he'd speak frankly when his own desires surely could not align with those words?
"I'm not staying for Them, I'm staying for you."
"I have to once more remind you, whatever it is you think you will find in me is- well, it's not possible. Not even here."
You were close enough to touch Sunday by now, yet his back was still turned towards you. Close enough that the rise of his shoulders with every staccato breath was impossible to ignore. Peering past him, the dark bird sat perched atop a shelf, keen eyes ever watchful as it looked through your body.
"Even so, I can remain by your side," the waver in your voice was minimal, knowing now was not the time to let emotions run loose. You knew that what you wished for was impossible, but clinging to the hope that your presence could make a difference nonetheless was all that mattered. He didn't deserve to be alone.
The way his head lowered and his hand clenched was in stark contrast to his usual conduct. Had you pushed him too far?
"I would hate to see you tethered to the ground because of me. Opportunity is what leads people here, now that you have it, there is little reason to squander it."
"You think I'd be happy running around in the golden hour, drinking SoulGlad and attending galas while you're working yourself to the bone?"
It had come out as more of an accusation than a question, something that immediately made your eyes widen in regret. When he turned towards you, the small smile was still etched upon his features. A hand came to rest on your shoulder, the weight of it enough that you felt unsteady for a moment, held up only by his eyes.
"My heart belongs to Penacony and the shared dream for the future it holds, so long as it thrives, so too will I."
He looked tired this close, and you couldn't help but place a hand atop his, tearing your gaze away to lower your head, unwilling to burden him with your teary expression. If this was what he wanted…
"In that case, I shall wait here for your return… Do you need me to prepare anything?"
He squeezed your shoulder gently before letting his hand fall, and with a shake of his head he walked past you towards the grandiose doors.
"Sunday?" you had to restrain yourself from doing anything hasty, unrest plaguing your mind already at the thought of leaving him to face this alone, "Once the Charmony Festival is over, I'd like to experience more of the dream, preferably not alone."

The Apothecary Diaries official twitter account shared a short story that Natsu Hyuga wrote specifically for the account. I decided to translate it and share! It's just a cute casual conversation between Jinshi and Maomao about what they were up to as 10 year olds.
Disclaimer: this is a fan translation, I am in no way a professional and may have made some mistakes. Please do not use this translation elsewhere or claim as your own.
(translation under the cut)
The Apothecary Diaries (Hero Bunko) 10th Year Anniversary Short Story
10 Years Old
“Maomao”, Jinshi called to Maomao. This was after he’d called her in today asking for the details of another random case. Apparently the case was solved after she shared recollections of similar cases, and Basen had been sent to clear things up.
“What is it?”
Maomao drank her tea quickly with the desire to return home to prepare dinner.
“What did you do when you were ten?”
“That’s quite an unexpected question. Wasn’t that the age you began posing as a eunuch?”
“...that was later. I’m just curious what childhood could have led to your personality. Ten is a significant age, but eight or nine is fine too.”
Maomao grunted. “At ten years old things were pretty normal for me. I helped out at the apothecary shop under my adopted father Luomen.”
“Could you be more specific?”
Jinshi had asked Suiren for more tea and was now drinking it.
“That was around the time I was finally given permission to make my own medicines. Before then, I was yelled at for making things on my own, so I was really happy.”
“Don’t make things on your own.”
“Also, the madam taught me to do calculations and I was shocked at how messy my dad’s numbers were. I wondered why we always earned less than we sold, and I learned there was someone who was sick and had no money who he’d always give the medicine away to for free.”
“I see.”
“I followed them and found out they were a dirty little re-seller, so I enlisted one of the male servants and brought them with me to the marketplace to secure a spot. I took back our goods and told other buyers if they wanted stuff for cheaper to buy it directly from us instead.”
“Is that really something a ten year old should be doing?”
While Maomao had been speaking, Suiren had prepared her a new cup of tea and so she remained in her seat.
“If I hadn’t, the madam wouldn’t have given me my dinner.”
“She gave it to you?”
“She put it on my tab.”
There isn’t a single person more stingy than The Madam of the Verdigris House.
“Now I understand why you’re so particular with money.”
“What about you, Master Jinshi? What did you do as a ten year old?”
“Me?”
Jinshi grunted. “I was usually at my mother’s, the Empress Dowager’s, palace. How should I put this. Because of the odd proclivities of the previous Emperor, I was shielded from a lot of things while being raised.”
“I’m sure even a ten-year-old Master Jinshi was already sparkling with beauty as a child and was surely mistaken for a young girl.”
“Are you making fun of me?”
“Of course not.” Maomao denied such nonsense.
“I was taken care of by my nursemaids, and tutors were called to give me an education. The Ma brothers were my milk siblings, and Gaoshun would occasionally teach me martial arts.”
“I heard that Master Gaoshun was a military official back then.”
“That’s right. Since the Emperor was only the crown prince at the time he was guarded by another member of the Ma family. These were orders from the Empress Regnant and had to be followed, but it was still quite a lot to endure. Still, Gaoshun would occasionally visit the Emperor and make time to see me so he must have been quite busy. I remember frequently hearing him say ‘My daughter hates me’.”
Maomao recalled Mamei to mind and could understand.
“Even so, I couldn’t stay in the palace forever so sometimes they’d let me go outside.”
“Oh?”
“I was told everything is an experience and was brought to military training camps, and during summer retreats I remember having fun jumping down waterfalls. Although I was yelled at afterwards.”
“Summer retreat......, waterfalls. Ugh! H-How were the training camps?” Maomao appeared troubled, and attempted to refocus the topic of conversation.
“The training camps? I would join the soldier's in their regular training routines. This was also arranged by Gaoshun.”
Gaoshun’s paternal influence was strong.
Now that Maomao thought about it, Jinshi had mentioned something similar while eating chicken skewers before.
“Normally I’d only eat meals that had been carefully prepared, so I never realized grilled skewers flavoured with just salt could taste so good.”
Maomao could feel her mouth filling with saliva.
“What’s wrong?”
“I was thinking maybe my dinner can be paired with chicken skewers tonight.”
“Chicken skewers.”
It appeared that Jinshi’s mind had wandered in the same direction as Maomao’s and he held his stomach.
Just then--
“Young Master. Maomao.”
While smiling gently, Suiren appeared holding a large chicken.
“How do you two feel about chicken tonight?”
“Please and thank you!”
“Yes please!”
Both Maomao and Jinshi exclaimed loudly.

The Future Wenclair Family

Wednesday and Enid about 20 years from now with their teenage daughters: Harmony Addams, and Ana "Anarchy" Addams. Below are the photos of each family member by themselves.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
To be clear, I did not just push a button in an AI program to make these. The individual Wednesday and Enid photos actually did take just a few minutes with some AI software I found. However for Wednesday and Enid's daughters: first I used an AI program to try to make a blend of Wednesday and Enid's faces, but still look unique with some different features (that took about 20 tries). Then using their faces, I asked another AI program to make bodies for those faces using very specific instructions. I was actually trying to recreate the body positions and clothes they had in the drawing I use for my profile picture), but this proved to be very difficult; so I eventually settled on the best results I got after OVER 200 attempts. Then, I used another program I had to merge the AI photos together over stock photos. Needless to say, this took about eight hours. AI is a great tool, but it's still not easy to use.
Tumblr media
I also made another attempt awhile ago to use AI to make a picture of Wednesday and Enid with their kids when they were younger. However most AI programs don't let you create images of children (for good reason), so the work around I used with another program resulted in something I wasn't too pleased with. However upon using a filter I found, it wound up improving the image into an interesting style that I felt was at least acceptable.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Above: My Profile Picture Created by @emeriart, next to a stylized version of my AI creation featuring the Wenclair Family.
*To be clear: I did not put my picture drawn by @emeriart through an AI filter. I actually had to spend hours trying to get multiple AI programs to come only a little close to what her amazing art work could pull off (I tried to replicate it perfectly, but alas: the above result was the best I could do). AI can create some pretty amazing and unexpected things, but it's still very difficult to get EXACTLY what you need from it. Also, real artists can still give you some impressive new ideas no program can. I've actually already asked @emeriart to help me make some new Addams Family related art for a future project I'm working on, so make sure you're following me, so you don't miss out on that.

Thoughts on Dawntrail MSQ - Part 2 (95-100, with spoilers)
One of the main themes of this expansion was dealing with mortality and loss... Death is present in every part of XIV, so not unexpected at all. And combined with the whole Dawnservant business, I knew going into it that family would also be a big part of things. As someone who very recently experienced the death of a close family member, I couldn't help but wonder how close to home the story would end up from this angle and how much it might affect me
And the answer is... I'm still not really sure. I found Gulool Ja Ja's death moving because I liked him so much as a character, and I think that viewing him upon reflection as someone who was in the active process of dying throughout the whole time he is present in the story was very poignant.
There were other moments, such as when we first learn about the Yok Huy's cultural attitudes towards death, that did make me feel quite emotional.
When it comes to this second arc of the story, where these themes become most prominent, though... I don't know if I have a conclusion yet regarding what I think about it, or how it makes me feel. Actually, to a degree, I found some of it a bit too... simplistic? Especially the stuff about souls and holding on to life beyond its natural span. Maybe it's because I've already been thinking about this sort of thing a lot, but much of it felt like stuff that could have been impactful or thought-provoking, yet ultimately missed the mark for me.
Instead, rather than feeling seen or heard I instead just felt a bit like everything unfolded exactly as expected and didn’t really provide me with much substantial to think about, when it comes to this theme of loss specifically. It bears an obvious similarity to Shadowbringers, which I think was a more impactful presentation of similar ideas, but I don't know if I want to go into comparing the two right now - they serve different roles in the overall narrative, for one thing.
I could see that for others, this part of Dawntrail might be very meaningful. And I might feel differently experiencing it another time. I'm not sure. I still have a lot of processing to do myself, of my real life experiences as well as of this story.
However, that's not to say I didn't enjoy it, or that I thought it was bad. I found the the revelations about dimensional fusion surprising and I wasn’t sure what to make of it at first, but ultimately, the discovery of what happened to Yyasulani and Alexandria fascinates me and the more I think about it afterwards, the more interested I become - the history of the unlost world, the way it combined with the Source, how all of these things affected the people living in both places, what it might mean for the future, what it might mean for other shards... I'm usually not a huge fan of the cyberpunk aesthetic but I do really enjoy how they contrasted it with both the old town of Alexandria and with the traditional buildings of Yyasulani, it makes for a very unusual look. The marriage of technology with tradition is always something that interests me.
I feel like there's more that could be said here, but right now, I don't know if I can do it. As I've said already, I do think I need time and to see things a second time before I can draw better conclusions... but on this first round, despite my small complaints, I enjoyed myself, found plenty to engage with, and I’m looking forward to seeing how the future unfolds.

Hello....Can I ask your top 5 favorite moments each from Buddy Daddies and Spy x Family? If the two families ever meet, who do you think Kazuki will be besties to (Loid or Yor)? Why? Also, do you think Anya can be bff with Miri? Sorry if you've answered this questions before...
Hello Anon!
Thank you for the ask! Also, I'm sorry for taking some time to respond. And no need to apologize! I haven't answered these questions before, but even if I had, my favorite moments for Buddy Daddies and Spy x Family change over time and depend on how I'm feeling, so I'd probably have different answers anyways. Plus, I'd never pass a chance to talk about these two shows! I'll stop talking now and just get to it! I hope you enjoy!
5 Favorite Moments from Buddy Daddies:
Rei & Kazuki storming Suwa Manor (ep. 12)
Rei calling himself Miri's papa (ep. 3)
Miri getting her own room (ep. 4)
Car discussion on Rei's birthday (ep. 8)
Ferris Wheel Scene (ep. 10)
5 Favorite Moments from Spy x Family:
Loid telling Anya "Let's go home" (ep. 1)
Loid "winning" Anya the stuffed penguin, a.k.a Agent Peguinman (ep. 13)
Loid's entrance at Camilla + Dominic's party, along with him standing by Yor (ep. 2)
Princess Anya (ep. 5, especially when Franky is quizzing Twilight and at the top of the castle)
Yor leading Olka, Gram, and Zeb to their new room (ep. 31)
I'll put my explanations at the bottom of this post so I can get to your other questions. That way, I can still explain why I chose each moment, if you're interested in knowing, and it helps a bit with the formatting. I'd also like to add, the order in which I listed each moment does not correlate to how much I love each moment comparatively to the other ones (maybe with the exception of #1). Narrowing it down to five for both shows was already a hard task, so just know, I really, really love the moments or scenes listed aboe.
Now, for your next question, if these two families met, I honestly think Kazuki would kinda be besties with both. I do see Rei being besties with Yor moreso than Loid, so if going for a one-to-one pairing, then technically, that means I see Kazuki being besties with Loid.
It's discussed throughout Buddy Daddies, and clearly shown in their depictions/portrayals, that Kazuki is more of the social butterfly and talker between him and Rei. That's one reason why Kazuki would likely get close to Loid and Yor, through spending equal amounts of time with each of them. Also, in taking charge of many of the household chores, Kazuki would be able to connect with or trade tips/stories with Loid when it comes to cooking and Yor when it comes to cleaning. Even in terms of their jobs, Kazuki connects with both Loid and Yor (he is the "disguise guy" between him and Rei, and he does a lot of retcon/information gathering, but by name/occupation, he is a hitman or an assassin, who can certainly stand his own ground). Being able to hang out and easily talk with both Yor and Loid could also be a part of Kazuki's personality. I feel that Kazuki could talk with Loid or Yor in a way that feels like it's a conversation specific to the person he is talking with, and not just him making small talk. Kazuki would become besties with both Yor and Loid because, I'd argue, he can connect to each of them in different ways but that make the other feel seen and heard.
If I had to choose though, then I'd argue Kazuki would be besties with Loid if these two families ever met. I feel like they'd connect with each other just a little more over cooking for the family and the mutual panic that strikes each of them when another family member does something unplanned or unexpected.
And for your third question, do I think Anya can be bff with Miri, possibly, leaning more towards yes. We've yet to really dive into Anya's backstory (though I think we're all anticipating it will happen soon), but I get the impression that Anya's first real friendship is with Becky. At first, there was a real big sister-little sister dynamic in Anya and Becky's friendship, which has begun to evolve. Given the type of classmates Anya has, and their attitudes towards her/each other, Anya might be affected by those interactions and also sorta take Miri under her wing, teaching her about all the things she's picked up on at Eden since Miri's getting a completely different schooling experience at Aozora Daycare.
I do think Anya and Miri would be friends, but it will take some time for them to become super close and move away from that sister dynamic I feel might initially develop. Again, even if Anya is actually 6 (and not 4 or 5), the way the other children in her grade level act is quite mature. So, I honestly think it would be a good thing for Anya to be able to hang out with and do normal(?) things a four year old does. While Anya finds or makes her own fun in between studying and trying to earn Stellas, spending time with Miri may provide Anya the opportunity to live out her childhood too and feel what it means to just be four. The settings for Buddy Daddies and Spy x Family, along with the tone in some cases, can be pretty different from each other, so Anya getting the chance to spend time with Miri, and not have any other worries or stressors to deal with would probably be a good thing for her. And in having fun together and sharing experiences that result in positive memories, Anya would begin to look forward to spending time with Miri, which, if she doesn't already, would eventually lead to an acknowledgement that yes, they are friends, and based on the good Miri may bring to Anya's life, they are bffs.
.
.
.
Thank you again for the ask, Anon! I had a lot of fun answering these questions, especially since I'm always up for a BD and SxF crossover!
And again, apologies for the delay in my response! I really enjoyed your questions so I wanted to give myself the proper time to think them over and write out my response. Let me just put a reminder here again, but the reasonings for my 5 favorite moments will be after this section, if you would like to know!
Feel free to send my way any other questions or musings about Buddy Daddies, Spy x Family, or both, Anon!
-Dakota Wren
5 Favorite Moments from Buddy Daddies
Back in May, I did a 30 Days of Buddy Daddies challenge or prompt. Day 7 was "Favorite Scene" and that has not changed. I wish I had a better or more coherent explanation, but this scene of Kazuki and Rei storming Suwa Manor, I can never get enough of it. Like I mentioned in that explanation, I think the reason why I enjoy this moment so much is because we are seeing Kazuki and Rei working together, and seeing just how well they can work together on the job. And one reason why I think they are working together so well is because they are both fighting for or working towards the same goal, or for a future together as a family, with Miri. In these scenes/moments, Kazuki and Rei are essentially putting everything on the line if it means they have a chance to leave freely and live the life they both want now.
In all seriousness, I have no idea how many times I have watched the clip of this moment. And no matter what number rewatch I am on, this moment always makes my heart melt. Rei finally stepping out of his father's shadow to rise up and be the one to "save" Miri and Miri instantly accepting him as "Papa Rei" and running to him. Now knowing his arc and how much Rei grows over the series, this moment also feels like the start or one of the earlier milestones that eventually leads him to take on his father.
Nothing but fluff in this post-credits scene. My reasoning truly does not go beyond Miri is so indescribably happy to get her own room and Rei and Kazuki are so happy to see their daughter already in love with her room. Each of their reactions is just so sweet and, to me at least, shows how quickly they are growing close as a family.
I was debating of whether or not to choose this scene or Rei and Kazuki's discussion in ep. 11 at the safehouse. In the end, I chose this scene because of how they both somewhat acknowledge how much they've grown since they first met/moved in together, and perhaps the lingering sense of optimism they both feel in that moment about whether or not they can change. There is this feeling of them beginning to see that their individual futures and their futures as a family, with each other, and with Miri might be a light that will lead them out of the darkness and how they are both more than their jobs and their pasts. And yes, those feelings are still around in that ep. 11 discussion, but I like how in ep. 8, there is still a bit of uncertainty about what comes next (and not necessarily in bad way) as opposed to ep. 11, where they both realize what must be done.
To completely counter the previous moment/reasoning, it's a little ironic how this is one of my favorite moments and yet it is a moment that manages to always destroys me. I've also talked about my reaction to this scene before, but it is the defeat that both Kazuki and Rei feel in this moment that they could not change or continue to provide for Miri which breaks my heart. It is this recognition and, while perhaps not fully willingly, choice to give up Miri in hopes that she can experience and live a normal childhood that shows how much they have indeed changed for the better. They are putting Miri's life and happiness above their own. Before Miri, I get the impression neither Rei nor Kazuki thought they were capable or deserving of such happiness. So to see them agree that it is better for them to give that up than to bring harm to Miri, the source of that happiness, speaks volumes. Also, seeing Rei and Kazuki both acknowledge how much Miri has changed their lives in that year makes me so emotional.
5 Favorite Moments from Spy x Family
I'm pretty certain I've talked about it before, but Spy x Family is what got me into anime. After getting lunch together, in their car, a good friend of mine literally sat me down and said we are watching this and we are not leaving the parking lot until we finish at least the first episode. There are several moments from this episode which I enjoyed, laughed at, and loved, but this moment in particular is what made me really fall in love with this show and think to myself, okay, I'm gonna give this show a chance. And boy, look what grew out of it. Aside from the memories associated with this moment, I love how vulnerable Anya and Twilight are to one another in this moment, even if they are both not being completely honest with each other (since it would blow their secret identities).
Something about Twilight trying to go "for the mission" during this moment, but then seeing Anya's big smile is just, ahhh I don't know. The circumstances for their family outing to the aquarium is to keep up family appearances, or the illusion that the Forgers are a real family. I think that I like how in this moment, Twilight is still trying to keep up that front of him returning to the group with the penguin plush, and explaining his absence as due to his concentration on trying to win it for Anya, when he obviously was working on a secondary mission. And yet, Anya overhears/understands his thoughts, yet this penguin means everything to her still (as seen in her reaction in ep. 21 when Bond gets jealous)
This is a moment that continues to stand out to me like it does to Yor. Sure, Twilight might have been saying these things to not blow his cover/convince Yor that he is a perfectly normal citizen, but to Yor, hearing those words gives her the recognition she seldom received in terms of sacrifice for her family, and how much she should be proud of/appreciate the work she does. While neither characters nows it, and this may possibly just be my own interpretation, I also enjoy how Twilight's words almost seen chosen based on a vulnerability he feels he can expose ever so slightly through the guise of his current cover. The slightly unintentional bond that forms between Twilight and Yor in this moment, and the impact his words clearly have on Yor, makes me even more excited to see what Yor's reaction will be if/when an identity reveals happens.
Ep. 5 in general is one of my favorites and how the animators expanded on the castle scenes from chapter 6. I love how Loid, with a little bit of prodding from Anya and Franky, absolutely does everything in his power to treat Anya like a real princess, her adorable little crown, and her genuine excitement over seeing Loidman and all the things he must do to "save the princess." I don't think it's farfetched to say, that this is the most individual and special attention Anya has likely received since escaping the labs, making her appreciate everything Loid did for her even more. The culmination of her love and appreciation for that night and since Loid adopted Anya in her promise to do well in school is the cherry on top for me.
There are a lot of moments from the Cruise Arc that I was debating between, but this is the moment I chose because it really shows off Yor's other skills. The way she is quick to improvise, detecting who and where are her threats, and the confidence she has in taking down any potential threats. It's nice to see Yor in her element and see examples of why Thorn Princess has such notoriety to her name.

As soon as the two young ladies entered the building, the attention intensified toward Rin. Everyone who saw her made an effort to greet her, even those who only heard of her arrival tried to find a way to cross her path. It was a bit a little stressful, but she graciously responded to it all with the help of Zaina keeping each encounter short.
"Well aren't you popular already," Zaina teased after pulling away the young miss from yet another small group of students admiring her model-like figure in the school uniform. The fact that they were able to fawn over the same yellow gown all female students wore was becoming mildly entertaining, and a little obvious. She already knew this was their attempt to network, taking the necessary social steps to (hopefully) start a fruitful relationship.
"Oh, shush!" Rin puffed her cheeks a little as she scowled at her companion. "You know very well this is all just for formality's sake!"
"You say this but," Zaina's voice trailed off as she continued to tease the youngest Chibana. In her years of working for the Chibana family, Zaina came to learn that the rich were predators always on the prowl. Be it a marriage proposal to solidify business ties or a simple greeting to lay the groundwork with someone influential, they were always looking for new bridges to build and stairs to climb in their scramble to top or to simply keep their heads above the surface. I get how knowing someone is helpful, but to go as far as they do? It's insanity! Then again, look at where I am and where they are. She silently compared herself to the many here. Though she was not naive enough to reject money, she certainly preferred her lifestyle to the idle time the younger generation of the wealthy seemed to have. She was brought out of her thoughts as they were stopped yet again, this time by teachers. Shouldn't they be helping us get to class on time? She let out a silent sigh as she watched Rin smiled and tactfully maneuvered the situation. It was certainly a sight to behold. I don't think I could ever do this, especially how she does it. She thought over her own social interactions which, more often than not, severely lacked the poise Rin had. I'd end up with three feet in my mouth somehow.
Neither of the two were surprised by so much attention. It was the same in Rin’s last school. Some fawned over her and the success of her family, while others aimed to surpass her. This dynamic never changed and that was a good thing. There was nothing unexpected and made the transition smoother, although it did make it difficult to get things done at the moment. The two were able to press on and made their way to the office where everything was finalized and they were given a tour of the academy grounds.
As the faculty member led them away from the beautiful library towards the high end science labs, Rin found it impossible to not speak up. “If I may,” she raised her voice just enough to grab their guide’s attention. “Is there a particular reason why you keep looking at Zaina?” It’s obvious you’re disapproving of something, but what? It's not like you haven’t seen someone’s help before, that would be absurd! Though, I suppose I’m the only one who has one with me. She turned her attention to Zaina, whom she knew was also aware of the glances but was simply ignoring it as she should; uncertain what was the issue and if she was able to correct it.
“Excuse me,” he cleared his throat. “What do you mean?”
“I’ve noticed you’ve been looking her way quite a lot. I would hope it is not due to the fact that she is only half-Japanese. That wouldn’t do at all.” Rin frowned, unable to come to any other conclusion as to why he kept looking down at her. She had dark hair, like most, but her eyes were grey and her facial features were a little sharper.
“Oh no, not at all! We accept students of all ethnicities here! One prime example is Tamaki Suoh himself!” He was quick to clarify, realizing the egregious misunderstanding that was coming to light. “Her ethnicity is no trouble at all! I was merely observing...well, her choice of dress. It is not the girl’s uniform.” He clarified to Rin.
“Is that all? We made sure to get permission and even sent photos of the final look for approval.” Rin maintained her composure, but was slowly growing unamused at how this was being handled. Dislike or not, she is with me and that alone should have you behaving as if there’s nothing extraordinary to be seen.
“As she said, I have permission from the headmaster to wear something suitable for me to complete my duties and best care for Ms. Chibana. Though I am her personal maid, I am also her personal guard. Wearing a dress with ruffled underskirts and penny loafers is hardly a suitable ensemble for quick reactions.” Zaina calmly answered, not surprised by this disapproval.
“Yes,” he slowly responded while trying to carefully word his response. “That may be true. However, the student handbook expressly specifies what is or is not allowed in the school. I’m sure there was something else that would be more appropriate and less...distracting.” He reasoned, clearly trying to say something without entirely saying it. “Our academy is one of the safest in the nation. There is no need to be so wary.”
“A strange man was able to sneak on school grounds during the annual examination day by simply throwing on a white lab coat to “look like a doctor”.” Zaina visibly frowned. “As “safe” as the school may be, an incident such as that is not ignorable,” She bluntly added, the teacher taken aback by her knowledge. Simply put, neither of them should have known about it since the administration did everything in its power to keep it under wraps. No one was allowed to speak of it so that it would quickly blow over. “If I’m not mistaken, the Ootori family is the one to provide the medical personnel for these examinations. Though it is a sole and isolated incident, one incident is one too many.”
He quickly turned to Rin in hopes that she would assist him in this matter by scolding her help from speaking in such a manner, but was met with an expression of pure acceptance and calm. She was not going to step in and silence Zaina. “Ah, that is true. Nonetheless, that does not give any justification of your choice of uniform!” He tried to speak with more authority. “This is a school for those striving to run business and go into politics. Distractions must be minimized at all costs.” Rin was poised to answer, opening her mouth to speak up when someone answered from behind her.
“You are mistaken. Her choice of uniform is not breaking any rules.”
Wait, that voice. Rin turned to see none other than the Host Club.
“The student handbook states that the school uniform must be worn by enrolled students.” Kyoya continued to speak. “The length of the blazer is appropriate to her body, shorts and crew socks are the proper onyx shade, and the color of her shoes are one of the acceptable colors.” He casually concluded, snapping his little black book shut.
“This is all very true, dear teacher!” Tamaki stepped forward. “You must also remember that she is stepping into our beautiful world from another! In commoner schools, the boys and girls both wear blazers and some have sailor styled uniforms for the young maidens. We mustn’t be so hard on her for who she is.” He firmly shook his head. “To look down on her would only alienate her further. We must embrace her, teach her of the gloriously refined ways of our own!” He dramatically waved his arms in the air, punctuating his speech with grandiose gestures towards a highly unamused Zaina and a bewildered and awe-inspired Rin.
“From a fashion standpoint, it’s certainly top quality fabric and stitching.” Kaoru chimed in, suddenly appearing to Zaina’s right.
“It’s avant-garde to our school uniform system. Something to look into for possible replication, even if not in the school itself.” Hikaru added from Zaina’s left, the twins carefully looking over her attire.
“All in all, it’s not a fashion travesty” They said in indifferent unison with a shrug, the argument feebler than Tamaki’s. Rin giggled meanwhile Zaina was left trying to surmise if she should be offended or appreciative of this help.
“I think it’s cute!” A small sweet voice piped up from above, both girls looking up to see Mitsukuni brilliantly smiling from his perch on his cousin’s shoulders. “It’s unique, like a personal cake! The blue always reminds me of blueberries, like a mini-blueberry cheesecake! Though I prefer strawberry cake, blueberries can be very good too! Especially when they’re sweet. We should all have cheesecake and tea together! That would be really good! Oh, strawberry for me though. Takashi, Takashi, let’s get some cake today!” He peered down at Takashi who simply grunted in response.
Is...is he comparing me to desserts or is he just hungry?! Zaina simply stared up at the tiny bubbly blond with an unreadable expression while Rin tampered down her shock. It was at this point that neither of the two new students knew what to do. The intention was to handle the situation, but as simply as possible. Now, here they were with a group of confident and outspoken students who mysteriously appeared seemingly out of nowhere.
Who are these guys? Rin wondered, amused and very much intrigued by each of them. They were all such different personalities, none of whom matched anyone at her former school. If nothing else, they are the big difference between here and there. I didn’t expect anything worthwhile when coming here, but I’m happily surprised. She peered at Zaina from the corner of her eye before spotting the male teacher who now looked very exhausted by these turn of events.
“They’re always like this,” Haruhi placed a reassuring hand on Zaina’s shoulder. “They mean well. It’s not exactly done in the best way every time, but their hearts are in the right place.”
“Is that so,” Zaina mumbled her response, watching as the teacher grew more haggard from being outmatched by the group. Tamaki happily thanked the teacher at his acquiesce before coming up to the young women.
"Thank you for all your help," Rin smiled at the group.
“Not at all. We’re relieved to have been able to make it in time to rescue you. It would have been a great burden on my soul to know I had done nothing!” He grabbed Zaina’s hand. “You, my wildflower. ,ust understand that not everyone is not from your world. Not everyone is as open-minded as myself. Your commoner ways are an oddity that frightens most, but are such an enlightenment. It is a shame not everyone shares my sentiments.” As his speech continued, Rin stifled a laugh at the expression on Zaina’s face. The only thing the young help could think of as he continued to prattle on was what word best described him. Only one word seemed to best fit.
“Obnoxious,” she felt her eye twitch a little as she unintentionally uttered the word as he leaned in closer to her. Tamaki gaped while the twins roared with laughter in the background.
“Look Takashi, he’s doing it again!” Mitsukuni hopped down and poked at the frozen blond.
“I said the same thing when I first met him. Like I said before, it isn’t always done right but they mean well,” Haruhi softly giggled as Tamaki ran off to sulk in a corner, hugging his knees.
“You weren’t wrong,” Zaina sighed as she watched Tamaki. “Oh, he does that as well?”
“What do you mean “does that too”?” Kyoya raised an eyebrow at this, adjusting his glasses,
“Zaina,” Rin hissed and gave a sharp tug to her sleeve with puffed cheeks in childish anger. This change of pace caught the attention of the other hosts, quieting down as they watched with peaked curiosity.
“Well, I’m not wrong,” She mumbled under her breath which flustered Rin further and led to her being shook by the youngest Chibana.
"No one needs to know about that! You should be on my side of this!" She whined a little. “You’re my help!”
"Yes, yes! I am on your side, don’t worry." She laughed off, breaking free of Rin's grasp.
"You better be! You know for a fact that it's not as bad!"
“Or is it? Have you ever properly looked at yourself when it happens?” She snickered, dodging a whack from her flushed friend. As the two vaguely spoke between each other, Kyoya pinched the bridge of his nose. It was not certain that the peace he was hoping for was not to be.
It was foolish to think that the helicopter would be the only change of pace. It unloaded something more than I want to handle right now. Though his thoughts were more pessimistic, a small smile threatened to curl at the corner of his lips. This is to be the new normal, but at least everyone is here. “If you’ll excuse me, I have to myself and him to class.” He pointed to their sulking leader.
"But, but, mommy! She was so mean! Just like our first daughter!" Tamaki cried as he clung to Kyoya.
“First daughter? Mommy?” Rin and Zaina looked to one another, utterly confused with what was going on.
"You're not my father!" Haruhi angrily countered for the umpteenth time, sighing in exasperation.
"Yes, yes, I know. Kids will be kids, now we must get to class.” Kyoya nonchalantly responded as he managed to get Tamaki up on his feet. “It was a pleasure to meet you, Ms. Rin Chibana. We look forward to seeing you at the Host Club.” He gave a light nod with a practiced cordial smile and dragged Tamaki away.
"We should probably get to class too," Haruhi sighed, looking at the twins who stuck their tongues out in distaste but gave a small shrug.
"I guess we have to as well," Mitsukuni said with a slight pout at the lack of sweets. "Oh, before we go! Which classroom are the two of you in?" He turned to look up at Rin and Zaina.

(In Which The Forum Trio Begin To Get Involved)
-------
The lalafell was doing her very level best to stay occupied with paperwork, but Gaius sensed her shooting him annoyed looks every so often.  Not that he could blame her.  His arrival had been...unexpected.   Normally a visit like this would have been prepared in advance.  It wouldn’t be...spur of the moment.  Not to mention the reasons for his entry that he’d listed on the rather surprisingly detailed and thorough customs paperwork---business and pleasure.
She’ll be livid at that.  A breeze started to blow through the open-air office, and Gaius closed his eyes.  He could smell both salt and snow--a far cry from the oceans of Terncliff.
“General Baelsar?”  Gaius opened his eyes and turned around.  Two white-robed Elezen had entered, the Worldly Affairs Official hurrying over to them.  They were both male, one with orange hair braided back into a queue, and the other one...white haired and bringing memories back to Gaius of Alphinaud.
“Yes?”
“I am Barnier, the Speaker for the Forum.  This is Forum member Fourchenault Leveilleur.”  Ah, there was the reason why he was thinking of the boy.  Gaius nodded in greeting.
“Speaker Barnier.  Ser Leveilleur.  Your son Alphinaud spoke of you quite often during our journey together.”  Surprise briefly rippled over Fourchenault’s face.  “Is he doing well?”
“He is, yes.”  There was no doubting the faint thread of pride in Fourchenault's voice as Barnier began to look over Gaius’ entry papers.
“May I ask what sort of business you wished to conduct in Sharlayan, General?”  He asked.
“I had heard about more of my countrymen coming to your city.”  Gaius responded.  “I wanted to reach out to them, perhaps set in motion possible family reunions, or ways for them to find more about loved ones that could be beyond Werylt’s borders.”  Both elezen nodded, and the Garlean continued.
“I should have gone through the proper channels, but as I already had another affair here--”
“YOU!”  Breathless--she’d run all the way from her house to the harbor--Astriid practically skidded into the gathering.  Her focus was solely on Gaius--the surprised visages of Barnier and Foruchenault low on her priority list at the moment.
“What are you doing here?!”  She snapped, stomping towards Gaius.
“Lady DeGlass, what is the--”  Foruchenault trailed off as the ex-legatus suddenly moved.  Gaius was quick to snatch up Astrid's hand in a courtly bow, pressing a kiss to her slender fingers.  Her hand was just as delicate and warm as he remembered, slightly more so on the former now due to age.
"My lady DeGlass." He rumbled, peering up.  Oh Astrid was livid, the kill-lights were turned up high in her eyes.  He was most certainly a dead man the moment they were alone.  Gaius couldn't help himself, a smile spreading across his features. Something in his soul sang. He had honestly missed their clashes, had missed the sharp swing of Astrid's temper...
"Your home on first view is as beautiful as you described it to me back then." Ah yes, that had gotten Barnier and Fourchenault's attention.  Gaius straightened, pointedly still holding on to Astrid’s fingers.
"Ah...described, General?" Barnier inquired politely.
"Lady DeGlass and I worked together on her last trip to Garlemald." Gaius replied.  “However she knew me under a different name.  A falsehood on my part, I was on a mission that required subterfuge for the Emperor at that time.”  A lie, he’d hid under an alias because if Astrid at the time had known his true indenity, she would have had nothing to do with him.  And also beneficial to her current position, Gaius meant to cause only a little trouble--not a lot.
“She spoke so passionately of her home and kept urging me to visit.”  Astrid was bristling now, and Gaius quickly let go--sensing the threat of an incoming scratch.
“I thought now would be a good time.”
“Bullshite!”  Astrid shrieked.
“Lady DeGlass!”  Barnier barked.  “This is conduct unbecoming of your station!”  Astrid whipped around to face him--uncaring for how she looked, uncaring for the agog face of the Worldly Affairs Official, and uncaring for the looks on Barnier and Fourchenault's own faces.
"Kick him out." She got out through gritted teeth. A bark of laughter made her spin back around to face Gaius.
"You be silent! You-you...you fiend of a man!" Barnier made to speak again, but was stopped by Fourchenault's hand.
"Sioneaux did warn that the relationship between them seemed far more... personal." The younger elezen said softly. Barnier arched an eyebrow and looked at the pair. Normally a pillar of ice-cold composed calm, Astrid was verbally ripping into Gaius with language that would have shocked the most hardened Limsan sailor. And Gaius van Baelsar, the once feared Black Wolf, was laughing--laughing as if the situation was one massive jest.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
"...Go get Montichaigne." He ordered. "He's the only one who can possibly get Astrid to somewhat behave." Fourchenault nodded, turning around.
"I suppose we know now what the 'pleasure' half of the question was aimed at." He muttered.
"I would suggest for the sake of sanity and preventing possible violence that we avoid that particular subject until we're indoors." Also the mental images, Barnier mused. He cleared his throat as Fourchenault hurried off.
"Lady DeGlass, if you are done acting like the proverbial jilted lover--" It was only decades of facing down political opponents that gave Barnier the ability to remain stone faced when Astrid's head snapped about at a frightening speed. The look on her face normally heralded a very public verbal evisceration (and considering the rumors about her possibly a physical private one).
"What did you say?!"
"You will immediately compose yourself and act with the decorum of your rank, or you will be publicly censured. Any grievances you have against General Baelsar you can air in the Rostra. Which is where we are all going. Right now."

The Queen's Gambit- Chapter 2
A03, Chapter 1
Daemon x Rhaenyra Multi Chapter AU: Rhaenyra is now 18 and eager to prove herself. Having never been forced to marry Rhea Royce, Daemon has matured and given up his gallivanting through the Street of Silk. Queen Aemma survives her final birth but the baby does not.
Queen Aemma knows of Daemon's devotion to Rhaenyra. She also knows that this devotion is not unrequited. Aemma goes to Viserys with a proposition: one that will ensure the future and legacy of House Targaryen.
“I, Viserys Targaryen, First of His Name, King of the Andals, and the Rhoynar, and the First Men, Lord of the Seven Kingdoms, and Protector of the Realm, do hereby name, Rhaenyra Targaryen, Princess of Dragonstone and Heir to the Iron Throne.”
The room erupted into applause. Rhaenyra stood and surveyed the assembled high lords and ladies of Westeros. Each of them would take their turn to swear fealty to her as the new heir. One after another, the lords of Westeros knelt and made their vows. Rhaenyra stood with her spine straight and her head held high, and expression of haughty pride on her face.
Inside, she was trembling, worried that she would be a disservice to her family and to the realm. Rhaenyra looked around the throne room, her eyes seeking the beloved face of her uncle. He stood in line with the lords, waiting for his turn to kneel before her.
Many members of court watched him with anticipation. It was expected that the Rogue Prince would do something rash and offensive to ruin the ceremony. But Rhaenyra knew that Daemon’s pledge of fealty to her would be genuine.
At long last, he appeared before her. His voice rang out through the room, strong and even. “I, Prince Daemon of House Targaryen, promise to be faithful to King Viserys and his named heir, Princess Rhaenyra. I pledge fealty to them and shall defend them against all enemies, in good faith and without deceit. I swear this, by the Old Gods and the New.”
There were several sharp intakes of breath as Daemon took Rhaenyra’s hand and kissed it, in a gesture that would be impermissible to anyone else. Rhaenyra almost smiled. The Rogue Prince, indeed.
After the ceremony ended, Rhaenyra walked out of the hall on the arm of her father. “You did very well, Rhaenyra. You will make a strong ruling queen.”
“Thank you, Father,” Rhaenyra said.
Her ladies awaited her  near the door of the throne room, Alicent Hightower among them. Rhaenyra smiled as she joined them. Once she was in her chambers, Alicent helped her undress. “You looked beautiful today, Princess. You will make the realm proud, of this I have no doubts.”
“Thank you, Alicent,” Rhaenyra said. “I will do my best. Do you think the Lords of Westeros have truly accepted me in their hearts? It is one thing to swear a vow, it is another thing entirely to mean the words.”
“You will win them over,” Alicent said.
“Even your father?” Rhaenyra asked.
“He agreed with the king’s decision,” Alicent said, only she fidgeted with her hands as she said it, idly picking at the skin of her fingernails.
Rhaenyra raised a brow. “What do you know, Alicent?”
“Nothing,” Alicent said, a little too quickly.
Rhaenyra continued to press her friend until Alicent revealed what she was hiding. “Suitors will start arriving to beg for your hand. My father has summoned Gwayne from Oldtown.”
It was not unexpected, but Rhaenyra felt a pang of frustration toward her father. She would have to sit and listen to the ridiculous pleas of the sons of the highborn lords, even though she already knew whom she wanted to wed.
“I am sorry, Princess. I should not have tried to hide anything from you.”
“You have done nothing wrong, Alicent. I did not expect to remain unwed. The Seven Kingdoms will not accept a Queen without a King Consort.” Her tone was bitter, but mostly because she was thinking of Daemon, and how she wished to call him ‘Husband’. No matter what her mother had told her, she could not believe her father would change his opinion on the matter.
Rhaenyra bade Alicent to leave her before making her way to the Godswood. It was the most peaceful place in the Red Keep, and she longed for a few moments to herself. When she arrived, though, she did not find it uninhabited.
Daemon was leaning against the tree. He turned his head when he heard her approach. A smile crossed his handsome features, and Rhaenyra felt a frisson of excitement race through her veins.
Daemon rose to his feet, only to give her a sweeping bow. He spoke in High Valyrian. “All hail our future queen.”
Rhaenyra wrinkled he nose. “There is no need for such formality, Uncle. I will always be your little dragon.”
Daemon dug in his pocket and removed a dark steel chain. The pendant was a large ruby mounted on a pendant of the same steel. “I have a gift for my little dragon then. Though it is worthy of the next Targaryen Queen.”
“Is it Valyrian steel, like Dark Sister?”
“Yes, so you will always have a piece of Old Valyria with you.”
Rhaenyra turned and allowed Daemon to drape the pendant around her neck. “Thank you.”
“Beautiful,” Daemon said, his voice soft, almost reverent. “Now you will have a piece of me as the sons of the lords of Westeros bend over backwards for your hand in marriage.”
“I do not want to wed any of them,” Rhaenyra said.
“Careful, Princess. You know you must have a husband. You cannot take the throne without one. Marriage is only a political arrangement. Once you are wed you will be free to find your pleasures elsewhere.”
Rhaenyra scowled at him. “What if my choice does not align with my father’s choice of husband.”
“My brother is a fair man. I am certain he will give you the freedom to choose, within limits.”
They were dancing around the heart of the matter, but Rhaenyra would not directly tell Daemon what she wished for. If he were to reject her, it would crush her heart.
Daemon took her hand in his and kissed it lightly. “Princess,” he said in the common tongue, “your lady mother is doing what she can.”
“It may not be enough,” Rhaenyra said, her tone petulant and unbefitting of the future queen.
“Do not fret, my little dragon,” Daemon said, kissing her forehead. “May I escort you back to your chambers?”
Rhaenyra reluctantly took his arm and allowed him to lead her back inside. The day was quickly growing dark.
***
Aemma sat beside the fire with her husband. “Rhaenyra was ethereal today, my love.”
“Yes, she was. She will be a beloved queen, just as you are.”
Aemma smiled in spite of herself. Her husband wanted the best for their daughter. It was only that his Hand and other council members were trying to steer him in directions to their benefit, rather than Rhaenyra’s.”
“Suitors will begin arriving tomorrow, those who could not join their fathers. Ser Harwin Strong, Gwayne Hightower, and Laenor Valeryon will be among them.”
“Ser Laenor may not favor young ladies, my love.” Rumors about the heir to Driftmark had been circulating for years.
“Rhaenyra is no mere young lady. She is the Realm’s Delight and the future queen. If Rhaenyra favors any of the young lads, a betrothal will swiftly be announced.”
“And what of my candidate for Rhaenyra’s hand,” Aemma asked. Surely if she kept pressing the matter, her dear husband would surrender.
Viserys shook his head. “Daemon is not a potential suitor, though he surprised me by bending the knee. Otto assured me he would make a spectacle. Though he should not have taken her hand. It was an affront to decorum.”
“Rhaenyra was not offended by the liberty he took,” Aemma said.
“Her infatuation will pass,” Viserys said. “And when it does, she will be happier to wed someone closer to her in age.”
“I am sure the Hand wishes for it to be Gwayne,” Aemma said, frowning. Of course Otto Hightower would support the decision if he thought he could convince Viserys to wed Rhaenyra to Gwayne.
“I have made him no promises, but we have a close bond with House Hightower. The match would be entirely appropriate. Let us not argue the point further, my love. I am tired.”
Aemma sighed. “As you wish, my lord husband. I will not retire yet. I intend to walk in the gardens.”
“Take a guard with you,” Viserys said.
Aemma nodded and left. But she dismissed the member of the Kingsguard who tried to follow her, pressing a gold dragon into his hand.
Daemon was waiting for her in the Godswood as planned. “Brother, you proved Hightower wrong today. I was proud of you.”
“Even though I took liberties with your daughter?” Daemon asked, his eyes twinkling.
“If Rhaenyra does not take offense then neither do I,” Aemma said.
“You are most gracious, Your Grace,” Daemon said.
“How fares my daughter? You were seen with her in Godswood after the ceremony.”
“She is safe in her chambers, tired from the events of the day.”
Aemma nodded. She trusted Daemon with Rhaenyra, but if her maid had spotted them together, she was certain someone loyal to the Hand had as well. “Viserys has not reconsidered,” Aemma said.
“I did not expect him to. Rhaenyra will have to tolerate the parade of suitors. She will be bored senseless.”
“You will join our family party, and stay by her side as she meets with them,” Aemma said. It was not a request.
“If that is what you wish, my queen. Viserys will not approve.”
“He will not deny you a place at his side during the proceedings. The Hand may be your greatest rival, but as the Queen, I outrank him. Viserys may not see the merits of a match between you and Rhaenyra at this juncture, but he witnessed your loyalty today. Continue to show him that you can comport yourself in a proper manner.”
Daemon nodded. “You have my word. In any case, if a suitor falls short, I may need to feed him to Caraxes.”
Aemma gave him an indulgent smile. “You are not unbiased in the matter, Daemon.”
“No.” He agreed. “I certainly am not.”

The Last Blackstone
It was only about a year before the Uprising that Lethian joined the Blackstone family. In the early nights of winter, just as the cold was starting to become more than a nip, he came pounding on their manor door in the dead of night. The lord of the house, Sir Linwald Blackstone, took it upon himself to answer this unexpected visitor. Opening the door he saw a disheveled young man.
“Ah, hello.” he said, surprised as much as anything.
“Hello, sir.” replied the young man, the weakness in his voice apparent, “I have nowhere to go and I’ve heard nothing but kindness of your house.”
“I’m glad to hear our house is well known, but why have you woken me in the dead of night?” he replied.
“Please sir.. My parents were taken by highwaymen weeks ago.” the young man said. “I’m too old for the temple to take me and too young to know a trade. I have nowhere to go and I’ll die of the cold.”
Linwald thought for a moment, then opened the door. The young man quickly came in and began to warm himself by the fire. Sir Blackstone returned after a time with a warm cup of cider.
“You may stay until spring, but then you will have to go and make your own way. And you’ll earn your keep by helping in any way you can. We cannot take in everyone off the streets who knocks on our door.” The boy simply nodded. “And what is your name, young man?”
“Lethian.” the stranger replied.
“Well, Lethian. I hope that you enjoy your stay here. Follow me and I’ll show you to where you’ll stay.”
As they sheltered him through the long months, the Blackstone's came to appreciate him. Alitha, the Blackstone's only child, found him to become like a brother. An only child and member of the nobility, she rarely had the company of those her age. Only two years his senior, and both loving intellectual pursuits, they quickly became close. Lady Penbre, Linwald's wife, saw everything in him she'd always wanted in a son. He was intelligent, kind, and had an air of integrity about him. He was always ready with a smile to do what she needed.
Sir Blackstone saw different qualities. He learned quickly, and he was capable and talented in many ways, like their own daughter. He showed great promise, and Sir Blackstone believed he might prove himself worthy as an aid to Alitha when she inherited their family's house and it's fortunes. Not an inheritor, but someone who would manage the house and the marble mines from which their fortune came. Alitha getting along with him was a pleasant bonus. But, such a decision could not be made quickly. So, seeing as his family enjoyed Lethian's presence, he offered the wanderer a permanent home with them, with conditions of course.
Lethian accepted. He already knew how to read and write, a rare thing given where he came from. Math as well, both of which were a pleasant surprise to the tutors. Lethian was quickly to learn and by mid summer, he and Alitha were equals in their knowledge, studying and learning together, and encouraging one another. For a time, that was all that was demanded of him. However, one afternoon, as the days were growing short and the temperatures growing cool, Sir Blackstone requested Lethian follow him to their garden.
“So, Lethian” the lord said as they walked, “I take it your studies are going well.”
“Quite well sir. Why do you ask?” the young man replied.
“Curiosity. I can tell you enjoy intellectual pursuit, like Alitha.” Linwald's eyes almost held pride in them. He sat on a bench, in the shade of a large oak tree. Lethian remained standing.
“Sir, why did you bring me out here?”
The lord paused for a long moment. “I want to officially make you a Blackstone, Lethian.” The young man started, his heart jumping into his throat. This was what he had been waiting for.
“I... don't know what to say. Thank you, sir. I am honored.” he stammered out.
“Before, however, I need you to swear something to me.” Sir Blackstone said, almost somberly. The lord took out a wooden box from the depths of his coat, and handed it to the boy. Inside was a piece of beautiful midnight metal. Decorated with silver, and on its side engraved the name “Blackstone”, the pepperbox reflected the sunlight exquisitely.
“Swear to me you will protect this house. Tensions have been high, and you may well be the only one who can.” Sir Blackstone said, his tone nearly grave.
Lethian looked at the gift in awe. “Yes. I swear it.”
“Good. Then, tomorrow, we will go to the magistrates and you'll officially be a Blackstone.”
Sir Blackstone stood, then slowly began to walk away.
Lethian was silent for a moment. Then he said “Sir?”
“Yes… son?” replied the Lord, the pride in his voice evident.
“Thank you.”
The next day, early in the morning, Lethian was made a Blackstone. As they returned from the courts, however, they saw something very, very wrong. Smoke billowed from the upper quarters. Pitch black and thick, as they rode back, it choked the streets.
“This isn't just a single house...” said Linwald, “The entire district is burning.”
As their carriage pulled them closer to the manor, it became clear it was far more than just an inferno.
“Soldiers.” said Lethian, looking out the back “Coming up fast on horseback.”
Sir Blackstone blanched. “It's a coup.” He put his head out the window and yelled to the driver “Faster! We must get the others and flee the city!”
Their carriage was pulled by some of the fastest horses in the quarter, and the driver did everything possible to lose them, swiftly turning and taking unexpected roads, but the horsemen slowly caught up, approaching them on both sides, drawing firearms from within their coats.
“Lethian.” said Blackstone. “Do you have your pistol on you?”
“Yes.” replied Lethian curtly.
“And are you ready to uphold your oath?”, Blackstone’s voice deathly serious. Lethian simply nodded.
As the horsemen approached, Sir Blackstone took out his own pistol and began firing out of the window. But as the first man's horse fell underneath him, a shot rang out, and the lord crumpled, shot in the back. Lethian quickly began firing out of the window as the second rider backed off. As the carriage approached the manor, Alitha and Lady Penbre came running out. Fortunately the soldier's hadn't made it to them yet.
“Get in, hurry!” called out Lethian, opening the door. As the two jumped in, Lady Blackstone yelled to the driver “Go! Leave the city going west. I'll give you further direction once we've left”
As they began to roll down the rocky streets again, the Lady saw her husband. “Oh god...” is all she could mutter as she began to tend his wound as best as possible.
The quarter burned behind them as their vehicle charged through the west gate, the carriage riding forward into the cold night.
It was early in the morning when Madam Blackstone called for the carriage driver to turn off the road. This led them, slowly, through the greenery, which gave way to a small villa. The Blackstone's summer home, though they rarely used it nowadays.
“We should be safe here.” said Lady Penbre. “As far as I know, this house is largely off the books. Lethian, help me carry Linwald inside. I can patch him up better there.”
Carrying him inside and setting him on the floor of the kitchen, Madam Blackstone began to bandage him properly. All she managed the night before was stopping the bleeding. “Go see what we have for supplies” she said, not not once looking up from her work. “Both of you. I need bandages, and wine, for both me and his wounds.”
The pair left, descending into the darkness of the cellar. As they rummaged, the light of old lanterns dispelling the gloom, the pair worked silently.
Eventually Alitha said “I found wine. A lot of it. Good vintage too.”
“This was where they got away from city life, I take it?” inquired Lethian
“Yes” she said, then added as she blew the dust off a bottle “but they haven't come for a long time.”
“I can see by the state of things.” Lethian replied. Then, pulling a sheet off a piece of furniture, he started to tear it into strips. “If you'll look for food, I'll take these and the wine up.”
“Already checked it. There's a wheel of cheese, that's all.”
“Foraging it is then.” Lethian sighed out.
The pair ascended and delivered their goods to Madam Blackstone. “Thank you children.” she said, taking the wine and cloth and beginning to properly bandage her husband’s wound.
“Who do you think might be responsible for this?” asked Alitha.
Her mother, continuing to work, said “There’s been a lot of political unrest recently. But to me the most likely answer is a group known as the Allegiance. They claim to represent the lower class, but their violent ways have never been popular, even with the poor.”
“But why now?” asked Lethian.
“Who knows? But they’re the only group who’s ever advocated for violent upheaval like this.”
There was silence after that, except for Madam Blackstone working on her unconscious husband. Eventually she said “He’s lost a lot of blood, but he might still recover, if we’re lucky. The only thing we can do now is wait. There are rooms down the hall. You two go ahead and sleep. I’ll keep him tended to.”
Lethian nodded, and turned to go. Alitha stood silently a moment longer, but eventually gave into her weariness. As Lethian and Alitha drifted into sleep, Madam Blackstone kept a vigilant watch over her husband, praying that he survived the night.
Wrested from a light sleep, Alitha was awoken by a pounding on her door. Lethian barged in moments later. “Grab what you can, quickly. They’re here.” he said quickly.
“What? Who is?” Alitha replied, worry rising rapidly in her chest.
“The Allegiance. They came to finish the job.”
“How do you know anyone is here?” asked Alitha, the panic in her voice showing “And how do you know that it is them?”
“I heard horses. Whoever they are, there’s people outside and we need to go, now.” Lethian already had a pack on his shoulder. “Come on. If we hurry we can get to the horses before they do.”
As if responding to Lethian’s haste, the sound of something impacting the roof reverberated through the building. “Hurry!” Lethian said. Alitha quickly gathered the few things she had, and the two swiftly left. Rounding the corner, they saw tongues of scarlet and copper flame swiftly engulfing the ceiling, the old dry wood catching like kindling. At the opposite end of the hallway stood two soldiers, one dragging Lady Blackstone away, towards the front door of the house. The other, seeing them, drew a pistol from his belt and fired, the projectile hitting the wall behind Alitha.
“This way!” Lethian said, pulling Alitha through the door towards the central courtyard of the home. The pair ran through the burning courtyard, the hall behind them engulfed in flames.
"How could you do this to us? After we accepted you as our family?"
"I did not, I swear." replied Lethian, pulling his companion away from a falling beam.
Alitha shoved him back "Don't touch me traitor! There was no way this uprising could have found us otherwise."
"The panic is keeping you from thinking clearly. I don't know how they did," he said, feeling the door on the other side, "but we need to get out. This way."
He went through the door, Alitha rushing after. "If you didn't do it then who did. The only people here are my parents, me and you. You're the only one who could have." They moved through another hallway, the fire not yet having reached this side of the building.
“Why would I betray the family that took me in when I was frozen and starving? It just doesn’t make sense.” Lethian said as they approached the back door of the home. Pulling out his pepperbox, he shot the lock and then bashed the door open with his shoulder.
The pair exited. Seeing the soldiers at the front of the house, Alitha said "Quickly. We need to get to the stables."
Rounding the back, the two quietly approached the stable. "The horses are still here," said Alitha, “They're still inside."
"We can't go back or we get taken by the Allegiance." Lethian said, saddling the midnight black stallion. "Either we leave now or never. And I don't know how to ride, so you get the last choice."
Alitha stared at the burning building for a short time longer, then turned and mounted the horse, Lethian sitting behind her. As the two rode into the darkness of night, she couldn't help but look at the rising smoke of her home. Feeling Lethian behind her, she wondered if she'd made the right choice.
The sun was cresting the trees of the countryside when the two finally stopped. “Stop here.” Lethian commanded “There’s some berry bushes, we can at least get something in us.”
Alitha pulled their mount to a stop. Foraging what they could from the surrounding bushes, Lethian and Alitha rested for a time.
Then they sat in silence for a time, the only noise around them being the noise of the forest. Too tired to converse, too worried and stressed to truly rest. Eventually, Alitha, her eyes downturned, asked “Lethian. Do you think my parents are alive?”
Lethian remained silent for a moment. Then replied, quietly, “I think it’s possible.”
Alitha looked at him. “What makes you think that?”
“Because of what the Blackstones were known for,” he said. “Your family was well loved by the lower class. If one of you were to endorse this change, it could help it go over more smoothly.”
“Then why shoot my father?” she said “It doesn’t make sense.”
“Maybe they simply didn’t recognize him?” Lethian replied. His voice quieting, he continued “Or maybe they want you instead of your parents, since you would inherit the family?”
“I will never give those murderous bastards anything.” Alitha replied, her voice filling with a sudden rage.
His expression unreadable, Lethian said “Alright. So then what do you want to do?”
Alitha’s expression hardened. “Where would they be then?”
“I couldn’t say.” After this he paused and looked into the distance. “It’s only about an hour’s ride to the capital from here. I could ride into town and see what I can find out. We need supplies as well and I won’t be recognized like you would.”
“Good point, good point. Just… be safe.” she replied. Then, Alitha paused. “You said you couldn’t ride.”
Already mounting the stallion, he replied “I said you could ride better. You must’ve misheard me. I’ll be okay.” And he was off before Alitha could respond, leaving her to wait for him to return.
It was nearing midday when her companion finally arrived. On his back was a sack, and he seemed almost excited as he dismounted. “Alitha! Alitha!” he cried, running towards her, “I found them! They’re being held in the capital prison.”
“That’s wonderful to hear! Now how can we get them out?”
“Well, it took some doing, but a friend of mine was selected to guard the prison last harvest. I convinced him to leave a door open for us tonight. If we hurry we might be able to save them.”
Alitha simply stared, stunned.
“Oh and I managed to get this.” he said, removing his pack. From its depths he handed her a small single shot pistol. Its handle was unadorned and the barrel was made of wrought iron. It was a simple weapon, but it was far better than nothing.
“You… Did all of that? For me?”
“Yes, of course. Now,” he said, tossing her a packet of food, “eat. We’ll need all our strength for tonight.”
Alitha ate, thoughts of both hope and worry rushing through her mind as she contemplated what was to come. As the sun began to fall on the horizon, the pair gathered their few possession and mounted their faithful steed. In silence they made haste until they reached town, abandoning the horse outside of town. Entering the capital, their first challenge was abundantly clear.
“There’s soldiers everywhere” whispered Alitha, as they hid inside an alleyway avoiding the patrol.
“That’s what happens after a coup.” he replied. “Follow me, I can get us to the prison without being seen.”
Alitha nodded and followed him. Swiftly, they went down the streets, narrowly avoiding the many squads patrolling the night streets. As they continued, Alitha quietly asked Lethian “How do you know these streets so well?”
Lethian started and responded quickly “I explored a lot as a child. Now be quiet or we’ll be found.”
Alitha refrained from further questions as Lethian quietly continued to guide her through the streets. She saw the prison looming. She’d never been to this part of the city. Her mother insisted she had no need.
Suddenly Lethian stopped. “We’re here.” he said, then pointed to a door on the side of the building. “My friend left that door right there open. Let’s go.”
Alitha removed her pistol from her bag and nodded. As the last patrol rounded the opposite corner, the pair quickly ran across the street. Silently opening the door, Lethian ushered Alitha inside and quickly closed the door behind them.
“I was told your parents were this way. Follow me.” he whispered, quickly running down one of the corridors. Alitha followed, hope sparking within her chest.
Left, then right, then down a flight of stairs, Alitha followed him, until eventually he stopped at one of the cells, the heavy door blocking the way. “They should be in here.” he said, producing a key.
“Where did you get that?” Alitha asked, suspicion rising within her.
“I swiped it off a table.” Lethian said absentmindedly.
Alitha leveled the pistol at him. “No you didn’t. I was following you the entire time.”
Lethian froze. Then, he quietly said “I didn’t want it to come to this.”
“Come to what?” replied Alitha furiously. “Who are you?”
Lethian slowly stood up. “Lethian is my actual name. But you never knew the real me.” He turned. “The Allegiance needed the Blackstone family’s endorsement. If you said that this new reign was good, the people would believe you and accept it.”
“What are you saying…” said Alitha slowly.
“I’m saying I was never truly in need. The Allegiance placed me in your house so that there was a chance you would side with me, with us, after our coup.” Alitha froze. His knowledge and skills. How perfect he was. Suddenly learning to ride. His “friend”. The realization struck her like a physical blow.
“But, when I realized that you would never side with us,” Lethian continued “I told my superiors and was told that you had to join your parents.”
Alitha had fallen for it all. She was so desperate to save them she had ignored everything. “They’re dead, aren’t they…”
Lethian looked at her almost pityingly. “Yes Alitha, they are. I shot your father myself in the carriage. Him and your mother died in the house as it was burning down. But you don’t have to die too.”
A shot rang out as Alitha cried “Murderer!”, firing her pistol at Lethian. The shot went wide as he swiftly retaliated, the pepperbox her father had gifted his killer flashing with the explosion of powder. Alitha felt a sharp pain pierce her body. She held her hand to her chest. It came away coated in her lifeblood, a vibrant scarlet.
“It didn’t have to come to this.” Lethian said. “All you had to do was say that this revolution was right. Fortunately we don’t need you. We just wanted you.”
Alitha fell to the ground, clutching at her wound. Staring at her killer, her father’s killer. Someone she’d considered to be her brother. “Why…” she gasped out.
“Well my story was true. I just left out that the Allegiance took me in first.” Lethian stared at his victim. “It’s ironic really. I really am doing what your father asked of me.” With this he chuckled. “He asked me to protect your house. And as the only remaining heir, well, isn’t siding with this uprising doing just that?”
Her vision fading, Alitha collapsed, as Lethian began to walk from the room. “Goodbye Alitha. I’m sorry that it came to this. I did care about you. But I made a promise I intend to keep.”

A3! | Hisoka/Sakuya
Tumblr media
Rating: G
Summary:
Sakuya goes to his usual spot where he feeds stray cats and finds an unexpected person there.
A/N: gift for yuva!
After almost a year of living at Veludo Way, Sakuya has more or less found the shortcuts and alleyways that help him get to where he needs to go. There's a pathway around the busy market area that helps in circumventing the crowded area right next to the bookstore, the road near the donut shop is the safest to go through as a commuter at night back to the residential area without worrying for cars, and there's a street on his way to school where all the stray cats hang out during the day.
Before officially joining Mankai, Sakuya liked spending his time there the most. He had named a couple of the cats - just names that came to mind without any particular theme – and fed them regularly. He still does so, but not as often as he used to before he started acting.
Moving from one family to another and only staying at each school for a while doesn’t give time to make close connections with anyone. However, he did bond with the stray animals he would find at parks and libraries, his go-to places since he never felt welcomed at his foster homes.
And so it became habit to seek them out and feed them when he could. He decided long ago that besides savings for the future, he would use his meager allowances to buy cat food to share amongst the furry creatures that kept him company.
Sakuya turns the corner and sees his usuals already perched up on something.
Okay, that’s Mikke, Kuro, Spot, and...Hisoka?
Indeed, right at the corner of the street, the sleepyhead of the Winter Troupe was sleeping sitting down by the wall, surrounded by the stray cats that Sakuya was planning to feed.
He crouches down and inspects his company member.
As easy as it would be to wake Hisoka with a few pieces of marshmallows, it feels wrong to interrupt Hisoka’s slumber. He just looked so peaceful, as if he weren’t in the middle of the street in the middle of the day, with cats sitting comfortably on him and around him.
Anywhere else, this would be a picture of cat lover’s dream.
But if Sakuya starts to feed the cats, won’t their movements shake him awake? He doesn’t want that.
Staring, he is reminded that he’s never seen Hisoka’s other eye and it is always covered by his hair. He has an air of mystery around him as the resident amnesiac and Sakuya cannot help but be curious, especially how it’s like it just came out of a story.
The Winter Troupe is hush hush about their members’ personal affairs and out of respect, Sakuya never pries. It’s not that they aren’t open to talking about it either; it’s just that they won’t ever volunteer information unless asked.
And Sakuya will never ask. He’s the same as them in that respect.
It hits him that he doesn’t know much about Hisoka beyond the marshmallow addiction and the unexplained reflexes and acting skills.
He now wonders what he even wants to know.
When he looks back at Hisoka’s face, he yelps as he sees Hisoka’s blue eye open and stare right back at him. He loses balance and falls backwards.
“Oh, it’s Sakuya.” The cats that were previously on Hisoka’s shoulders jump and gather on his lap. He yawns for a few seconds, his head bobbling forwards and backwards. “What are you doing here?”
Sakuya blinks. Oh right! “I wanted to feed the cats! They’ve been a great comfort to me so this is my thank you.”
Oh. Didn’t he just think about how he doesn’t easily give information to others? The surprise must have stirred him up more than he thought. Hisoka hums and starts petting the cats’ fur. They purr in satisfaction, rubbing themselves on his hand.
“Do you want to feed them with me? I have another can,” Sakuya offers, taking out the food he had prepared beforehand.
The smell of the pate wafts through the air and instantly attracts the attention of the cats. One by one they approach Sakuya, eyes shining.
“There, there. There’s enough for everyone!” He lays the can on the floor and the cats waste no time eating.
“Cats can recognize a good boy. That’s why they like you.” Sakuya’s head jerks up, seeing a hint of a smile on Hisoka’s face. He said such an embarrassing thing with a straight face, making Sakuya’s cheeks tint pink.
Mustering his courage, Sakuya returns the smile and says, “Then maybe that’s why they like you too.”
Hisoka cocks his head, and then dusts off cat fur off of him. He goes towards Sakuya and pats his head. “Thanks, Sakuya.”
For a second, Sakuya thinks his heart stops beating.
Later, the plastic bag once filled with cans of food is now filled with empty tins.
Hisoka keeps his hands in his pocket and gestures with his shoulders. He asks with his steady voice,“Let’s go home?”
Running towards Hisoka’s side, Sakuya answers a cheery ‘Yes!’
He doesn’t know much about Hisoka now, but he hopes that will change soon.

“Oppa we've done it with Minju-unnie, who should we invite next?” Sent by Yujin.
“Yujin, you naughty girl baby girl, why does this not make you jealous? Or is Daddy not enough for you?”
“I'm not jealous anymore. How dare you say that~" Sent by Yujin.
“So I'm not good enough?" you playfully reply, actually getting excited at the thought of Yujin inviting another of her friends. Although it is very unlikely
“Baby girl, your former IZONE members are very attractive. Who do you think you could invite next?”
“My daddy is really ambitious, I like it. I'm actually sitting in front of one of them rn." Sent by Yujin.
“Yujin, baby girl....can I make a confession..." It was rare for her Daddy to get shy or insecure about something so she was curious.
“Oh, Daddy~ what is it? That seems very not-normal.” Sent by Yujin.
“I love being Daddy to you, you know that's a huge kink of mine, but I...I also have another kink, besides just Daddy and feet...I've always thought Eunbi is pretty, but I have a...she gives me a mommy kink....I guess I was nervous to tell you because I didn't want you to judge me make you think of less me as a man or Daddy if I have a mommy kink…”
Yujin reads your message and for a second you are scared at her reaction. It doesn't help that she takes a long time to respond. But suddenly, a voice message hits your inbox.
"Hahaha, my daddy! I feeeeeeel you so hard. I got a huge Mommy kink for my Unnie too... she just has the perfect vibe, personality and assets to be a Mommy." Sent by Yujin
It's like you can hear Yujin wink from the other side of the phone.
“You know I love you Yujin baby, and I adore Minju too, and I have dreamt of some of your other members. With Eunbi, I've fantasized a lot about calling her mommy. I'd still of course be Daddy to you, I'd just switch ya know?”
“And I wouldn't have it any other way. See you this evening, daddy~” Sent by Yujin.
“Wait what?? You're actually going to ask Eunbi?"
After sending this frantic text, your face blushes in deep red. Being a confident CEO and a dom with Yujin was absolutely natural for you, but you admired Eunbi's talents and beauty and heart. Your crush on her has always been one with butterflies in your stomach and lewd thoughts in your head.
However, your connection to the former IZ*ONE leader is only very loose, so even the mention of an unexpected connection makes you excited like a child before Christmas.
Yujin ignored your text.
Slightly abashed and uncertain, but also thrilled for the night, you keep on working. Hours of meetings, interviews, research and coffee breaks later, you leave the tall office building, changing the scenery of wooden tables to asphalt roads.
In your car, you check your phone and see that Yujin send you two pictures of hefty bills: one from a luxurious coffee shop, the other from a famous fashion brand. You sigh at the price tag, but your eyebrows shoot up at Yujin's follow-up message:
"It's gonna be worth it…” Sent by Yujin
Cheeky brat you think to yourself. You drive home, exhausted after the long day.
Arriving at your apartment, you find the door slightly ajar, with rays of soft orange-red light coming out. Slowly, you open it further and sneak into a beautiful set-up: blankets, pillows and extra cushions turn the corner with the already cozy couches and soft carpet into one large block of softness. Red and orange light bulbs create a calm atmosphere.
Yujin tidying up and preparing something sweet like this is one of her underestimated, great qualities. She could be a spoiled and teasing brat with you, but there was a reason she was the leader of her own group, responsible and driven. Today she has perfect timing; the hefty bills already disappear from your mind.
"Hello? Yujin, I'm home. Wanna cuddle a bit? I'm exhausted from work today.”
“Why don't you cuddle with me?" an unexpected voice speaks from the bathroom door.
“Eunbi!?"
Tumblr media
You knew Yujin may have set this up, but you were still caught off guard. You blush red instantly at being face to face with a crush of yours and you start to sweat nervously.
Eunbi chuckles cutely. Her beautiful, wavy hair, accompanied with a stunning white gown make her seem like an ethereal, yet approachable creature.
Almost startled, you whip and turn around.
"Your blush looks so cute, but you don't have to be embarrassed or nervous. Mommy is here for you."
"I-I'm n-not, I…”
A gulp and the sweats continue. A crimson glow all over your face at Eunbi saying Mommy. It is surreal. This secretly hidden scenario you never dared to dream off  just unfolds easily in front of your very eyes.
"Eunbi...I... about the whole Mommy thing…”
“Oh, don't worry. I am quite used to it."
Eunbi's sultry gives you a rare, overwhelming rush of  goosebumps. Two hands suddenly covering your eyes add to the wave of surprises on this early evening. As darkness replaces the immaculate visual of the woman before you, a familiar whisper from behind you:
"She is our Mommy, my beloved Daddy.”
“Yujin, baby girl, you really went through with it and brought Eunbi here?"
Eunbi's eyebrows raise, noticing the change in tone you took with Yujin then her.
"Hmmm, so a Mommy's boy for me and a Daddy for Yujin, interesting. The rich and domming CEO can also be soft."
"Let's take this somewhere comfortable, Daddy. You said you were stressed so let's help you relax a bit."
In the blink of an eye, the three of you fall into the cozy cushions the two beauties prepared. This is a cloud you never want to get out of, especially when Eunbi kneels next to you.
"Come rest your head on my lap, let Mommy take care of you."
"Daddy, rest and cuddle with mommy, and I'll take care of your cock.”
The pillow Eunbi's thighs form is quite literally perfect, and if it weren't for the pace of your heart beat and the exploding sexual tension, you'd wish to fall asleep like this.
While Eunbi slowly caresses your hair and softly smiles at your flushed face, Yujin tears down your pants. The erratic movements of her hands show you her desperation to finally feel your cock on her.
"Your Daddy is very cute, Yujinie~"
You avert your eyes from Eunbi's lusty, loving gaze and see a clearly distressed Yujin kneeling in between your legs. It's adorable how quickly she gets envious at the sheer possibility of someone maybe taking you away. For her it might be pure panic—but the way she tries to prove her worth might be pure ecstasy for you.
"Yujinie, Mommy is very pretty, isn't she?”
Yujin's eyes widened, the jealousy quite obvious now.
"She is Daddy...lots of people think that, but you have me! I'm going to suck your cock Daddy, your baby girl, yours!"
Eunbi sees what's going on being the perceptive leader she is. She decides to play along.
"Mhmm, Yujin is always eager to please. Make Daddy feel good, Yujin."
Meanwhile as you rest on Eunbi's lap, her breasts hover above your face. You try to nuzzle in your head in her bosom more.
"Oh? My baby boy likes the feeling of mommies' breasts? Would you like to taste them?"
"May I, Mommy?"
Gently, you press your head into the other set of pillowy goodness Kwon Eunbi's body possesses. The texture feels so soft and you feel yourself get harder in Yujin's mouth, making her choke without even moving.
"How is it, baby boy? Mommy's breasts on your face, while our cute Yujin takes care of your cock?"
The way Eunbi pronounced that last word,  the way she hummed, almost a sultry moan, makes you crave everything.
"Please, Mommy! I want to see all of y—ahg!"
Your plea is interrupted by Yujin plunging your entire cock down her throat. The loud gags and chokes, while saliva runs out from the side of her mouth would already be enticing, but the way her deepthroat stimulates your cock leaves you stuttering.
"Oh, Yujinie! You are such a good baby girl. Look at you, still trying to focus us with your beautiful eyes."
Eunbi chuckles.
They were competing with one another. Yujin always wanted to prove herself to you, to IVE, even in IZ*ONE, but with Eunbi here, her first leader, her mother hen, she wanted Eunbi to see she had grown up and she could take care of her Daddy very well.
Chuckling at Yujin's deepthroating and her attempts to keep her fuck me eyes to try to get her Daddy's attention, Eunbi is not making it easy. She pulls down her dress and bra to give you access to her breasts in all their glory.
"Cmon, baby boy, suck Mommies' breasts. Taste them. Who knows, if you make Mommy feel very good, maybe she can make some milk for you, would you like that?”
“Thank you, Mommy!"
You immediately dive to her right tit, licking all over it, while squeezing it carefully from time to time. Deliberately, you leave out her areola and make sure to put a wet layer on the entire mound.
Eunbi's soft, measured breath turns to barely audible moans and a deep sigh, when you back off and look into her glistening orbs.
Although her chest is perfect, your attention is divided as Yujin bops her face extremely quickly up and down your length, messing up her mascara with choked out streams of tears. She looks absolutely fucking ruined—and fucking gorgeous.
“Keep sucking my cock good baby girl, make me forget all about Mommy's tasty teeth."
"Yujin, don't disappoint Daddy now, or maybe Mommy is the only one who can please him, hmm?”
Although it ought to be impossible, Yujin goes even faster. The tip of her tongue strikes at your cockhead with wet and perfect stimulation. Your cock begins to throb in her hot orifice.
"Oh God, baby girl. Keep fucking going, fuck!"
As your orgasm washes over your entire body, you throw your head back, where Eunbi shifted her bare bosom. She chuckles at your climaxing face, while a couple of her fingers play in between her heavenly thighs.
"Make sure to not waste anything that your Daddy has given you, Yujinie."
It is futile. Yujin has to remove her mouth from your cock to not drown in the massive load you put into it. Now most of the semen that did not find its way down her throat lands in your lap.
"Aw, how cute, baby girl. Let Mommy help you.”
Eunbi moves as your head thumps on the bed at the loss of her lap. She crawls over to your dick and starts to lap up all the remaining drops of your cum.
"It seems Mommy is always cleaning up after you, Yujinie."
Yujin, still trying to keep the heavy load in her mouth, can only cast a look of disappointment at herself.
"Shit, Mommy, your tongue..."
"Oh my baby boy, I'm not through with your nice cock yet."
Once Eunbi finishes sucking you clean, she lowers herself to your cock and wraps her two tits around it, trapping your shaft in her bountiful valley.
"Oh fuck!”
Eunbi's caring, blushed face turns to an insanely hot, strict face as she starts to move her tits up and down. The slow pace overstimulates your cock.
"M-Mommy, please... it's not—"
"Oh, baby boy. I don't care. Your nice cock has to be hard for me."
Her cocky, mocking tone makes you tense up and pay close attention to Eunbi's domination of your dick.
"I want to barely be able to wrap your delicious cock with my tits, so get hard for me again, my baby boy. You don't want to disappoint Mommy do you?"
"Mommy, your tits feel so good around my cock. Suck my cock too please."
"Of course baby. Whatever gets you ready to go again fastest."
Eunbi holds her tits together and continues to squeeze your cock while moving them up and down, she lowers her head and takes your cock in her mouth, swirling and sucking lovingly.
A deep groan is forced from your lips. The phase of painful overstimulation is transitioning to actual pleasure. You grow to full size in the slick, cozy confinement that is the gap between Eunbi's tits—and of course her mouth.
"Daddy, I swallowed it all, look!"
Yujin sits down beside you and opens her mouth wide. Her messed up face looks sad, as you don't give her the desired attention. Eunbi has you completely in trance.
Suddenly, Yujin grabs your hand and starts sucking the digits. Indeed, her mouth is empty, but you can't let her get away with this.
"You naughty-ass brat!"
You pull out your fingers from her mouth—just to immediately insert them in her dripping pussy.
"Fuck Daddy, touch me, play with pussy, feel how wet I am for you. Daddy please! Daddy! Daddy!"
Yujin keeps shouting in both pleasure and concern that you were too much in a trance from Eunbi's tits and mouth.
"Shut up, brat! I don't want to hear a word from you, understood? Just little whimpers, or..."
You nod your head at Eunbi, who is really getting into playing with your fully erect length. Yujin understands the memo, and has to bite down hard when you start to finger fuck her insanely rough and without rhythm.
Eunbi squeezes her tits even tighter and starts pumping with full force while gagging on your cock, sucking as deep and rough as she can.
"Oh fuck, Mommy! I want to cum on your tits!"
With each cry of pleasure Eunbi forces out of you, Yujin gets more and more upset that her Daddy isn't fully paying attention to her, but somehow your fingers are still able to overwhelm her.
Just because you can, you kick Yujin over the edge by giving her hard clit elegant strokes, before Eunbi wrings out your second load.
Exactly like you imagined, your cum glazes her tits rope after rope and the sight of a completely cock-drunken Eunbi is embedded into your mind, as your strength starts to disappear.
"Baby boy, suck Mommies' titties some more, get your strength back up."
Eunbi shoves her cum stained tits in your face. Mindlessly, you lick at them. This woman does unbelievable things to you. Your luck in life has been absolutely absurd.
Out of nowhere, Yujin wraps her arms around Eunbi's waist and pulls her away from you. Those delicious breasts are no longer on your face and jiggly freely as Yujin tries to wrestle the smaller woman away.
"No! You won't take Daddy away from me! I need him!"
Tears stream down Yujin's cheeks. Her arms give out and Eunbi frees herself—just to grab Yujin and pin her underneath her body by sitting on the taller girl's tummy. With motherly care and love, she looks at her dongsaeng.
"Yujin, you are so adorable. No one will take away your Daddy. Look at him. Think about your Daddy. Think about what he wants. It’s both of us, okay? A baby girl and a Mommy. Are you willing to give this to him, to share him?.”
"B-But what i-if I'm not good enough? W-What if he leaves me?"
Eunbi presses her cleavage onto Yujin's, marking them in white as well. Then she starts to nibble at the younger girl's jaw, making her squirm. Delicate fingers travel down to Yujin's heat, still soaked from her last climax.
"Hey, baby boy! Our baby girl is having some doubts. Would be nice if you could give her some love.”
Words are not real for you; you don’t hear what they say. You only see two of the hottest women on the planet on top of each other and wanton lust does the rest. Animalistic grunts come from your mouth and pants from Eunbi and Yujin.
As the gigantic rod she so deeply loves deeply penetrates her, Yujin's mind might be going blank. Eunbi's tongue and fingers all over Yujins erogenous zones definitely help and their deep connection that formed even after the group disbanded, leaves only one answer for her.
"Y-Yes! Be my Daddy, be my Mommy, please! Fill me up with love!
You start to thrust in and out of Yujin, feeling every inch of her walls.
"That's my good girl."
Eunbi kisses you passionately as you piston out of Yujin.
"Daddy, that's hot...watching you and Mommy kiss while you pound me.”
"Don't you want to lick Mommy's pussy?" you ask, completely engulfed in your sexual frenzy. Yujin rapidly nods and Eunbi tries to smile lovingly, while her features melt in horniness.
"I'll sit on your face, Yujinie. Lick Mommy good, okay?
"Mommy, face me while you sit on Yujin okay? I want to kiss you and suck your breasts as I pound her.
"Mhmm, Daddy wants everyone to be pleased. How thoughtful."
Eunbi lowers herself on Yujin's face, hovering just above her mouth, she faces you and cups her breasts
With your mouth you attack her stiff nipples fiercely, licking around them and sucking at them like a hungry baby. This whole ordeal might really fuck up your perception of life, but when you take Yujin licking her Unnie into the frame, while pounding her immaculate pussy, you don't care.
No matter what other people say, it could not make you stop from biting and licking Eunbi's lips, while seeing her gorgeous face in lust and love. Heaven; can it be ever closer? Who knows, but you're approaching orgasm feels like it.
"Fuck fuck, take it all Yujin! Mommy Eunbi, your breasts will be even tastier with milk."
It was too late to turn back now. It was one thing to be Daddy to Yujin, but this was a whole lot more fucked up, in more ways than one, but whatever it was, whatever universe you just now entered, it would be yours
And as your rod spurts out white, gooey paint into a shivering, also orgasming Yujin, your head becomes dizzy. With the pull of gravity, your sanity starts to come back and it's only Eunbi's enticing figure that keeps you standing.
"Y-You good?"
"What the fuck happened here?”

Can you do, the boys meet Scp 239 also know as The witch child. What happened if one of the boys accidentally wakes up Scp 239 and will Scp 239 wish something that not good?
OOC: Okay, I need to address something. I’m flattered for receiving ASKS on my secondary blog which I’m using now, but I have to remind everyone this blog isn’t centered on only SCP + TWST. Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy for one of my ideas blowing up that everyone can get to read and maybe brainstorm, but I have other projects I need to put my energy on. Especially try writing back into my first story involving my TWST MC OC, Miyeon Choi.
About SCP-239…I have to dig a little deeper to learn about their origins and watch a recorded document explaining of this Witch Child. I could imagine how it would play out, but let see how Dr. MC/Yuu can handle this.
Tumblr media
[SCP-TWST-2020 Chamber]
Riddle: *Exits out of the coffin along with the rest of the Heartslabyul gang* Alright, it has officially been two weeks of this punishment and Trappola, you have the letter?
Ace: *Holds it up* Do I really have to read it in front of MC/Yuu?
Riddle: They’re our head researcher. We must apologize for the incidents that occurred when first arriving at the SCP Foundation.
Deuce: Dorm Leader Rosehearts is right. Ever since coming to their world, we did nothing but cause more trouble for MC/Yuu and the other scientists.
Trey: Come on. We already stressed them out enough, and they’re probably working on another Anomaly.
Cater: *Takes our his phone* Smile for apologizing to Dr. MC/Yuu!
Riddle: *Shakes his head* Must I repeat the “No Photograph/Video Recording” in the foundation Dr. MC/Yuu restricted everyone from doing?
Cater: Don’t worry. You know Cay-kun can keep it a secret~
[As the Heartslabyul gang exits out of their chamber, they started searching for Dr. MC/Yuu. Well, looking for the young scientist is a little harder as the whole group weren’t sure where they could be and what they’re working on now.]
Deuce: This place is like a maze. Probably more confusing than back in the dorm.
Riddle: *Sighs* Trey and I will try to find a staff member if they can lend some help looking for Dr. MC/Yuu. You two, do not start any more trouble and Diamond will keep an eye out if something were to happen.
Deuce: Yes, Dorm Leader Rosehearts!
Ace: Yeah, yeah. We won’t cause trouble.
[After Riddle and Trey left, the three remain on spot until they decided to snoop around out of curiosity and boredom.]
Cater: Even after learning about the foundation, this place gives off unwelcome vibes.
Deuce: Dr. MC/Yuu warned us the potential dangers around here. We shouldn’t mess with anyone or anything-
Ace: Hey guys! Check this room out!
[Somehow Ace opened one of the chambers.]
Cater: *Quirks an eyebrow up* You were sayin’?
Deuce: *Rushes over to Ace* Ace, what happened to not causing trouble?
Ace: I didn’t. Just look at this. *Points at a child sleeping in bed with an EKG monitor and other hospital equipments hooked up to the child*
Deuce: *Whispers* What the hell? Is the foundation experimenting on children?
Cater: *Behind his kouhai students* Whoa! Okay, that’s unexpected.
[With Cater’s loud expression, the child wakes up, yawns and rubbing her tired eyes.]
SCP-239: Who are you? Where is Mister Clef?
Cater: Oh, hello! I’m Cater Diamond and these are Ace Trappola and Deuce Spade.
Deuce: Hi. How did you get here? Where’s your family?
Ace: Deuce, you dummy. How could a child remember all of that?
Deuce: I’m sorry, but who leaves a young girl alone in her room?
SCP!MC/Yuu: *Furious* That would be the foundation, you dum-dums.
[Everyone screamed in horror when Dr. MC/Yuu scared the three Heartslabyul members behind, which unfortunately caused SCP-239 to start crying from the reaction the boys expressed.]
SCP!MC/Yuu: ‘Fuck…’ *Reverts to a caring familial figure* Oh no. No, no, no. 239, come here. *Carefully picks up the little girl and cradles her* Shhh…There, there. Don’t be scared. Your big sibling/brother/sister is here. These boys aren’t bad. They’re mischievous. *Wiping away 239’s tears away*
SCP-239: *Sniffs* Mischievous?
SCP!MC/Yuu: They cause trouble for fun.
SCP-239: *Gasps* So they’re bad guys?
SCP!MC/Yuu: Uhh…Sort of. But they mean no harm. Right, boys? *Glares at the three with a sinister smile*
Cater: *Sweatdrops* Right! No harm done!
Deuce: *Shaken a little* Y-Yes, Dr. MC/Yuu.
Ace: *Felt chills down his spine* Yeah. No doing mean things.
SCP-239: *Yawns*
SCP!MC/Yuu: Tired already?
SCP-239: *Nods* I wish for a sweet dream.
SCP!MC/Yuu: You’ll have a sweet beautiful dream soon. ‘Holy hell, they really drugged her up.’
SCP-239: And…
SCP!MC/Yuu: And what?
SCP-239: I wish you have someone by your side.
SCP!MC/Yuu: *Understood what she meant* Don’t worry. Your sibling/brother/sister will find somebody, but not today. Now… *Pulls out a syringe*
Deuce: MC/Yuu-!
Ace & Cater: *Claps their hands against Deuce’s mouth*
SCP!MC/Yuu: *Injects the medication into 239’s neck* Sweet dreams…
SCP-239: *Before departing to slumber land* Night, night… *Then faints in Dr. MC/Yuu’s arms*
SCP!MC/Yuu: *Gently and carefully tucks 239 back into her bed*
[After tucking SCP-239 back in bed, Dr. MC/Yuu leads the boys out of the room. By the time they all exit out, Dr. MC/Yuu locks up the entrance way and…]
SCP!MC/Yuu: ARE YOU BOYS FUCKING INSANE?!!?!
[The three flinched from the scientist’s outburst.]
Deuce: I’m so sorry, Dr. MC/Yuu! Ace found the door leading to the girl and…How could you lock her up?!
SCP!MC/Yuu: She was an SCP! A highly dangerous anomalous being, and she must never wake up under any circumstances.
Cater: MC/Yuu, chill.
SCP!MC/Yuu: I can’t “chill” after what happened. You’re all lucky she can’t grant any wishes thanks to her containment. The whole room was built with anomalous alloy, SCP-148. There were warnings outside of the door and only Level 2 personnel can enter inside wearing a suit made with the same alloy.
Ace: But…You weren’t wearing one.
SCP!MC/Yuu: …That’s because I was informed somebody broke into 239’s chamber and rushed in. Also why were you walking around this section?
Ace: *Rubs behind his nape* Because I owe you an apology…
SCP!MC/Yuu: An apology?
Ace: *Surprised that Dr. MC/Yuu heard his mumbling* Yes. Riddle forced me to write an apology letter addressed to you. *Hands the letter over to them*
SCP!MC/Yuu: *Takes the letter and reads the content* …
Ace: *Acting patient* …
SCP!MC/Yuu: *Folds the letter close* Just…Head back to your chamber. I’ll inform Riddle for almost causing the foundation a heart attack for interacting with 239.
Ace: *Solemnly nods* Alright…
SCP!MC/Yuu: Two you as well, Cater and Deuce.
Deuce: We’ll return back.
Cater: Yeah. Sorry for almost giving you a heart attack.
[As the three walked back to their respective chamber, a staff member stood beside Dr. MC/Yuu.]
SCP Staff 1: So…You’re not gonna tell them?
SCP!MC/Yuu: *Sighs* It’s too soon. I don’t think they’re ready to learn the truth yet.

“Ready?” Tim asked. He took a last look over the microphone on the desk in front of him, then sideways at Dick and Damian, arranged on either side of him, a few feet away, with their own microphones.
Dick held up a sheet of paper. “I have the question list.”
“I think that’s it, then.”
“Are we supposed to do some kind of intro?”
“Uh, unclear.” Tim snapped his fingers and leaned into his microphone.
“This is a podcast-interview thing,” he said. “We’re answering questions. Okay, I nailed the intro, so let’s hear the first one on the list.”
“Can somebody please explain Bruce Wayne’s family?” Dick read. “I know he has a bunch of kids, but I can’t figure out how many or where he got them from.”
“Interesting phrasing on the back half of that,” said Tim. “I feel like something expensive that went on sale.”
He clutched a hand to an imaginary necklace in feigned admiration. “Why Bruce! You must tell me where you got those!”
“You were never expensive,” said Damian. “Perhaps a grocery check-out display?”
Tim sighed and turned sideways, so he could look Damian in the face. “Being honest, I didn’t think you knew enough about shopping to make that joke.”
“Understandable.”
“I would never set you up on purpose.”
“I know.”
“Let’s get back to the question,” Dick suggested. “Can somebody please explain Bruce Wayne’s family?”
“I don’t know,” said Tim. He swung back towards the microphone, grimacing. “Maybe? It’s complicated.”
“Complicated,” Dick repeated, flatly.
“Yeah, complicated.”
“It’s your own family.”
“That doesn’t make it simple,” said Damian.
“Do we get time to make an outline?” Tim asked, emboldened by the unexpected support. “Before we do our presentation?”
Damian half-smiled at that, while Dick looked the two of them over with a skeptical expression.
“Are you telling me you don’t understand our own timeline?”
Tim waved a hand in a why-are-you-looking-at-me kind of gesture. “What, does anybody?”
“I do.”
“You experienced it linearly! We came in partway through, it’s different.”
“Unbelievable.”
“You take the question then.”
“If the two of you can’t manage it,” said Dick, with a distinctly sarcastic shrug.
“Obviously I can do it,” said Tim, suddenly defensive. He knew Dick was trying to get a rise, but Dick was good at that, and it was working. “I’m just saying it’s a confusing story.”
Tim pointed in Damian’s direction. “Back me up.”
“Absolutely not.”
“We can take turns,” said Dick, apparently satisfied with his victory. “Okay. Thomas and Martha Wayne died when Bruce was eight years old. Nineteen years after that, when Bruce was twenty-seven, he attended Haly’s Circus the night two acrobats fell to their deaths during a trapeze routine. Bruce took in their surviving son, me.”
Dick held up a finger. “My name is Dick Grayson, and I was Bruce’s ward from age twelve until the day I turned eighteen.”
“Which is different that being adopted,” Tim put in, “so bear that in mind for later.”
“Right. At eighteen, I became an adult, so Bruce wasn’t my guardian anymore. A year after that, Bruce met and adopted Jason Todd.”
“The second child he took in,” said Tim.
“But the first child he adopted,” said Damian.
“Exactly,” said Dick. “In that moment, Bruce was thirty-four with one former ward and one adopted son— which again, are distinct concepts.”
Tim nodded. “Jason Todd passed away three years after his adoption, when he was fifteen.”
“I never met him,” said Damian, straight-faced.
“Me neither,” said Tim, like he hadn’t spoken to Jason that morning. “I did meet Bruce though, at around that time.”
“The next few years are… harder to explain, I guess,” said Dick.
Tim raised an eyebrow in Damian’s direction, shaking his head in mock disgust. “See? Now he admits it.”
“Unbelievable.”
“The nerve.” Tim grinned as smugly as he could manage, so that Dick could see. Was Tim being difficult on purpose? Absolutely. Was he going to change that? Absolutely not.
“Right, it can be my turn. I’m Tim Drake, and I met Bruce when I was thirteen years old.”
“I was…” Dick glanced upwards, like he was trying to remember— or, failing that, calculate. “Right now you’re…?”
“Do you not know my age?”
“I probably do.” Dick tapped a finger against the desk a few times, looking pensive. Eventually, he gave up.
“I’m blanking.”
“Congratulations, Damian,” said Tim. “You are no longer my least favorite sibling.”
“I was your least favorite?” Damian asked, with such innocence that Tim couldn’t stop himself from bursting out laughing.
It took him a few moments to regain control. “You looks so proud of yourself,” he told Damian, as soon as he could.
“Thank you, I am.”
“I’m writing you both out of my will,” muttered Dick, “as soon as we get home.”
“Shame.” Tim swiped a sweatshirt sleeve over his eyes, still grinning. “I had my eye on your terrible CD collection.”
“The estate in its entirety, I believe,” said Damian.
“Shut up,” said Dick. “Keep answering the question.”
“Yeah, yeah, give me a minute.” Tim held up a hand to count on his fingers. “We did circus, Jason, Jason’s death— oh right, me. I met Bruce when I was thirteen and Dick was twenty-two, which would make Bruce thirty-seven.”
“I would have gotten there eventually.”
“Go to hell. Two years after that, when Bruce was thirty-nine, he met our sister, Cassandra Cain.”
“She was seventeen then,” said Damian.
Dick nodded. “Simplifying, we met her through a family friend. That same year, Bruce adopted me.”
“Which puts Father at thirty-nine with two sons—”
“One deceased,” added Tim.
“Having already met Tim and Cass,” Dick finished.
“Now if you think that’s confusing,” said Tim, gesturing broadly, “you’re right, it is.”
Damian nodded. “It gets even worse.”
“Yeah. For another two years we were— again, simplifying— in roughly the same place. After that, Bruce adopted me—”
“—making my life even worse.”
“Shut up, you weren’t even around yet. At forty-one, Bruce had three sons, one deceased.”
“That’s Todd.”
“And then came—”
“Me.” Damian raised his own hand. “My name is Damian Wayne, and I am my father’s genetic son. We met for the first time when Father was forty-one, and I was ten.”
“Four sons,” said Dick. “By age it’s me, Jason, Tim, Damian.”
“But from Bruce’s perspective,” said Tim, “Jason, then Dick, then me, then Damian.”
“I’d note,” said Damian, “that I was born several years before Todd’s adoption, and since I have been a Wayne from the beginning, I am both my father’s youngest child and his first child, whether he was aware of me or not.”
“But wait!” Tim interjected. “There’s more!”
“We’re almost done,” said Dick. “We already mentioned meeting our sister Cassandra. Bruce adopted her formally after Damian arrived, while Bruce was still forty-one.”
“Which means,” said Tim, “that we can do a final tally. Damian?”
“Yes?”
“Assist me. We have Dick—”
“Alive,” said Damian.
“Jason—”
“Not alive.”
“Cass—”
“Alive.”
“Me—”
“Alive, regrettably.”
“And you.”
“Yes.” Damian sat back in his chair. Tim leaned forwards in his, so he could put his elbows down on the desk.
“That’s pretty much it,” he said. “I won’t say how old we are right now, because it turns out Dick doesn’t know, and I don’t want to help him.”
Dick rolled his eyes. “I barely know my own age.”
“You’re eighty. One thousand, nine hundred, and forty. Some other number. I don’t know, why would I remember a very basic fact about my own family member?”
“To be fair to him,” Damian put in, “you are very forgettable.”
“And you’re my least favorite again.”
“Shame. As a last fact, I’d also note that Martha and Thomas Wayne died when Father was very young, so he was primarily raised by the butler.”
“That’s Alfred,” Tim agreed, “and his formal title is butler, but he’s also, you know, our grandfather.”
“Can we move to another question now?”
“I guess?” Tim looked over at Dick for confirmation.
“I don’t know,” Dick sighed. “Maybe.”

hi! could I request mikey, ran and rindou head cannons where you’re their older sibling? thank you !!
- hello my love !! and of course ♡ this request is so fun too omg..the gangsters as baby brothers we love to see it
Tumblr media
Mikey, Ran and Rindou being your younger brothers
genre: fluff
warnings: none
Tumblr media
Mikey
please, this blond child already acts like a baby with just one older sibling, so this will only double in the scenario of having another
whether you are biologically related or not, mikey will see you as a role model, no matter what you did. he followed in shinichiro's steps when it came to bikes, so expect him to pick something up from you as well
he would be constantly reassuring you that toman's activities were never that dangerous whenever you asked about it, simply keeping an eye out for him
of course, you don't believe him in a single sense, but you trust him enough to not get himself involved in some extreme scheme. truth be told, he knew he'd get a mouthful from you if he ever did
despite your slight concern over the whole gang members thing he had going on, mikey would undoubtedly suggest you to meet the people he spent most of his time with
if you agreed to doing so, best believe he will have a whole introductory speech on who you were, for no reason whatsoever other than to show off his older sibling
he's very proud to be related to you, just as he is with emma and shinichiro. you're constantly looking out for him, and he could never find the words to express how grateful he is of that
probably because he never actually goes to school, in spite of your constant nagging and pushing him to just show up a few times a week
it was really all pretty futile at the end of the day though, so you'd try and teach him a few things here and there whenever he came home for the night
not that he'd pay much attention, practically dozing off when you would, but some things would stick with him and he'd proudly remind them to you the following day
being mikey's older sibling will also mean that you'd see draken quite often, seeing as the two would randomly show up in the house whenever they needed something
the two of you would discuss points that you shared concerning mikey's overall attitude. you'd thank him for putting up with him whenever you weren't with him, and he would simply brush it off with a chuckle
both of you knew all to well how much of a pain the little blond could be, though
as the busy, older family member, you also wouldn't always get to see your brother. because of this, mikey would sometimes bring back small souvenirs if he went anywhere interesting, as you weren't as lucky as emma to be able to spend your afternoons around tokyo
it would bring him much joy whenever he spotted them around the house, knowing you kept each and every little thing he brought home for you even the obscure ones
all in all, be well aware that mikey is anything but a simple sibling to have. but, after a while, it's quite easy to get used to his spontaneous ways, you just need to expect the unexpected from him sometimes
Tumblr media
Ran & Rindou
grouping the two brother together because well...they're brothers after all
may god help you if you have these two as younger siblings
when you were all smaller, rindou was an absolute cry baby and you'd always have to calm him down whilst moving him out of the way of ran's frequent attacks
being the youngest, rindou would have always depended on you when it came to serious or complicated topics, even in the present. he knows well how responsible you are, having had to put up with the two scoundrels that were his brother and him
so expect frequent visits from him whenever he needed help with fixing his computer, for example. he's an absolute disaster with fixing things since you had always been there to help out when he was growing
ran, on the other hand, is an absolutely reckless brother. as said before, he had decided from a young age that he was going to beat the punks he'd cross when the three of you went strolling around the streets of tokyo
determination was his key; unfortunately, he'd use his younger brother as a test subject, which frequently led to you pulling him away by his hair before he actually injured the smaller rindou
when the news came to you that the two had managed to take down roppongi the year they had turned teenagers, you figured it had been something to expect
having followed in his brother's footsteps once he could defend himself, rindou had become a strong fighter, and the two were quite unstoppable when together
you were really just there to make sure they didn't get in to some serious trouble, like the time ran had been planning to rob a whole store out of boredom
yeah, no. not on your watch
you knew they did things behind your back that you preferred not to know about, but you also trusted them enough to not end up in a bad state
other than the whole topic of being gangsters, the two would actually greatly appreciate you. it was nice to have someone older in the family that would be there when they got home, or even just to be able to rely on when circumstances got difficult
you had been the one to teach ran how to take care and braid his hair, and you had accompanied little rindou to his vision checkups when he first got glasses
they love you very much. so much so, they would keep you away from anything related to tenjiku, in worry that someone would target you, being the eldest haitani sibling
don't worry though, they would always come home with a large frequency of stories to tell you about the gang, as much as you preferred to not hear the more violent ones

Kidnapped Genshin Boys x Fem Rich!reader pt.1
Part 2 (Childe, Diluc, Kazuha)
Characters: Kaeya, Xiao, Zhongli
Genre: fluff, established relationship, some woman kicking ass action, (TW: mentions of blood and violence)
---
Tumblr media
KAEYA
Your boyfriend would deliberately act like a damsel in distress with no fighting aptitudes. Exaggerating his emotions to fabricate fear, he voluntarily let himself be held hostage, thinking they caught an easy target. Kaeya went along with his abductors' antics because he intends to bring them down once they reach the hideout.
While they were camping in the warehouse, Kaeya was not worried at the slightest. These people were no vision bearers, just mere greedy criminals that do not know who they were messing with.
Kaeya is aware of how affluent you and your family are. He already anticipated something similar to happen one day. Lowly tactics like these do not budge him at all, especially his unyielding loyalty towards you. As if the Cavalry Captain of the Knights of Favonious would be shaken by something as childish as this.
While he was improvising a plan in his mind, one of the men yelled, "Intruder!"
They all assembled at the source, but glanced at each other in confusion, "Intruder? Where?"
While an altercation sparked between them about the unseen intruder, their attention successfully diverted away from Kaeya. Thus, using the containers and blind spots to your advantage, you sneaked your way towards your boyfriend. While freeing Kaeya from the ropes that bound him to the chair, you giggled as well, "Are you lost, baby boy?"
Your unexpected appearance left him stunned, but it was a pleasant surprise, "Lost in those eyes, baby girl." He smirked back. By the time you finished, the men realized that the intruder was you.
Now that you are actually here, Kaeya's concerns began sprouting because he wanted to ensure your safety first before carrying out his plan since your arrival was not formulated in it.
You fueled his worries when you stepped forward towards the group. You dropped the bag you carried along in front of them, "Here. You wanted the money right? Take it."
"Well, that wasn't so hard." The gung ho group laughed boisterously among themselves, the leader leaning down to pick up the bag. You swung your foot, landing a clean kick on his face which caused him to stumble back. He pressed his nose, blood trickled down, "You-"
You refused to let him finish by sending another vigorous kick, this time at the center of his stomach, causing him to hunch as he grabbed onto his stomach and surpassing his coughs. To finish it off, you plunged your elbow down the back of his head and connected with an uppercut. The force was strong enough to send their leader flying back and never stood up again, completely knocked out.
The rest of the gang blinked. It was not even a fight. You took him down with only a few moves, barely breaking a sweat.
"You guys want some more? Or just take the money and leave us alone." You taunted them. They hustled along, grabbing the bag, and left their leader in the warehouse. Little did they know, the bag was not filled with money, but just some rocks to give it some weight.
Kaeya walked up behind you, clapping his hands, "That was superb, babe. I didn't know you were such a fighter." Needless to say, Kaeya is so proud of you and praised the way you executed your beautiful course of movements. He will also keep in mind to never mess with your temper too much in the future.

XIAO
Your boyfriend could take out all the adversaries he wanted to, driving them to regret that they wished they never premeditate this abduction. Unfortunately, his hands are tied because the group threatened that harm would come your way instead if he did not comply with their demands.
"You just have to sit here until your girlfriend bails you out. I'm sure she has some extra cash to blow to save you."
You did warn Xiao beforehand that similar incidents happened in the past and it is bound to occur again, to which he glazed over as a simple matter since he is confident with his combat experiences. But you did not explain how the incidents were settled. Xiao did not know that you have the capability to defend yourself, so obviously he reluctantly listened to them to protect you.
If they were to resort to hurting anyone, Xiao would rather have them hurt him instead if it meant they could spare you. He will never forgive them or himself if they even attempt to graze a single strand of your hair.
While worrying for your safety, he heard one of the men shouting a yelp, but it got cut off as his body fell, passing out cold on the ground.
The group huddled together, "Who's there?!" Their eyes darted around to search for the one responsible.
While they were bewildered, you jumped down from one of the containers at the warehouse, sending your knee flying directly towards one of the members to knock him down. In a kneeling position to pin the person below in place, you sent a swift strike to his neck, making him faint. As you stood up, the gang and also Xiao all looked at your abrupt appearance with wide eyes.
Glaring at the men in front of you, "Now, if any of you touched my boyfriend, one doctor visit wouldn't suffice." Without giving them any time to react or respond, your palm curled into a fist, dashing forward to begin taking them down one by one with your nimble feet.
Your calculative movements were sharp and precise, leaving no opening for your foes to attack. As the battle proceeded, your hair flowed gracefully behind along with your bold actions. Although Xiao was itching to help, he only managed to stare at you in awe, marveled by your bravery and poise stance that showed no weakness.
Before you both knew it, the fight ended with you emerging victorious.
You ran over to Xiao to free him immediately, "Oh archons! Xiao, are you okay?" Caressing his cheeks, you frantically inspected his face for any external injuries. Those men will face your wrath if they did anything to him.
Xiao was still processing what happened, his pupils fixed at you, lips parting, "That was really... amazing of you." He wanted to tell you that you looked so gorgeous that it made him breathless, but kept his mouth sealed after. For now, he enjoys the sensation of your hands that were used to unleash such fury now stroking his face so lovingly. It is also worth mentioning that Xiao has a new profound respect for your charming side that he never knew of.

ZHONGLI
Your boyfriend maintained a tranquil state of mind when he was kidnaped. Not portraying any signs of retaliation or profound panic, it even caused the group to be unnerved with how silent Zhongli behaved.
While held hostage, the head of the abduction blabbered about how they intend to lure you here, exploiting you through Zhongli's situation for some quick money grab.
Upon hearing that, Zhongli's eyebrows twitched in a displeased manner, "So you'd rather take advantage of someone for money instead of working for it? Don't you have any dignity left?"
"Obviously! If there's an easy way to earn money, who wouldn't want to partake? Someone as sheltered and rich as your girlfriend will never understand. Don't act like you never took money from her." They ridiculed his righteous morales by bringing you in the conversation, implying Zhongli only dated you for your status.
Zhongli leaned back against the chair with an inscrutable demeanor on his face. He knew that surely someone would point out the disparity in social status between you and him. But, if they thought he only valued your wealth and nothing else, then he will have to disappoint them.
"Oh, I'm very lucky to have a wealthy partner. Something you will never understand, yes? That's why you turn to disagreeable schemes such as this." Zhongli stalled time by making mindless talks with the leader.
Not appreciating Zhongli's remark, the leader raised his arm, ready to swing at full force to land a hit, except you obstructed him. Appearing out of thin air, you found your way towards Zhongli and held a tenacious grip on the man's arm from behind before he could potentially scar your boyfriend's precious face.
The group was alarmed by your arrival and the way you constrained their leader's strike. Applying even more force to twist his arm, you contorted his limb. It caused him to arch his back and bawled in pain as he attempted to wriggle his arm out of your grasp. In contrast, you reinforced your strength and kicked the back of his knees.
Once you let go, everyone watched him squirmed in agony on the ground with your grip leaving a red imprint on his arm. Turning your head towards Zhongli, you sent him a cheeky wink, "You're one lucky man indeed."
Now channeling your attention at the group, "Who's next?"
The group charged towards you, assertive that their strengths in numbers will have more odds in winning against you, a woman who stood alone.
Thus, to prove them wrong, not only did you beat their egos to pulps, but also the entire gang. Keeping a composed manner, your limbs carried your movement with great finesse and elegance. You dodged and blocked every incoming attack, never allowing them to get a clean hit on you. Your presence dominated the flow of the battle.
Eventually, only one victor is appointed, that victor being you.
You walked back to Zhongli to untie him. You placed your hand on your hip, huffing your chest to stand proud, "How was that? Not only is your girlfriend rich, but also powerful."
Zhongli nodded in agreement, softly patting your hair as he watched you with affectionate eyes, "That was a remarkable performance to remember down the road. Guess I have a lot of things to learn about you." Although Zhongli is fully competent to defend himself if things went wrong, he found it absolutely charming of you to protect him. You were reckless, but he acknowledges your ability to fight so gracefully.
