he is very easy to distract, though. if you ever want to be alone for a while but he just won't leave your side, throw a tennis ball somewhere and it should keep him busy for a solid 10 minutes.

loves snuggling with you. he literally distracts you and takes up at LEAST one hour every morning trying to keep you in bed with him. if you leave him alone in bed, he'll be whining until you come back.

he's also very talkative, and always yapping your ear off about random nonsense, until you tell him to shut up. problem is, if you tell him to shut up, he isn't going to open his mouth again for a few days. he'll be very sulky about it and look up at you with those big puppy dog eyes of his, silently hoping you'll allow him to speak again. as much as he loves hearing you yell at him, he still doesn't want you to be mad at him for long periods of time.

he'll eat anything you cook. you could be the worst cook in the world and burn your dish to a crisp, and he'd still eat it up like it's nobody's business. he doesn't even notice if it's well cooked or not, he sees anything you create as a masterpiece.

but this also means he's like a guard dog! even though he is quite small and his face isn't very intimidating, he tries! he goes to the gym frequently so he can be stronger for you. he wants to be able to defend you if anything goes wrong.

he is very patient. if you have any work or assignments you need to get done, he'll sit and wait however long you need him to. he'll even bring you beverages and snacks so you can keep working without getting up.

overall, he has some similar traits to a puppy, but he's still the same optimistic (and obsessive) bayani.

bros a silent killer. he watches from afar. if you happen to feel his eyes staring at the back of your head, and you look to see if your feeling is correct, he'll snap his head the other direction so you don't suspect a thing.

he follows you around, but unlike bayani, he wouldn't stop if you asked him to. and he isn't in your personal space, he is much farther away so it's harder to tell when he's tailing after you.

and like a cat, he proudly brings you dead things and is convinced that you would like it. usually he kills anyone that seems to be too close to you, and shows it off like a trophy of his affection and strength.

victor would kill someone and be like: "this week's new corpse looks awesome. they'll totally love this, i gotta show them!" (you did not, in fact, love seeing the rotting corpse of your friend on your doorstep.)

he guards your house as if he's a soldier at war. if he sees anyone break in, or if it's an insect that happened to fly in through your vents, he'll eliminate the threat before you even notice it.

he's also quite moody. sometimes he's affectionate and kind to you, then the next minute he'll act like a brat and expect you to cook and clean for him.

and if you called him out on his behavior, he'll act all pouty and mutter: "i don't do that.." then he'd get up and silently do some chores around the house as an apology. if you brought up his acts of service, he'll get flustered and say you were "too lazy to do it yourself" or something along those lines.

overall, he's quiet, moody, and does things his own way. unlike bayani, victor doesn't do anything you ask him to do, but he still shows his affection for you in his own subtle ways.

Well,let's say that you were kinda different from the judgment day.

They were dark,serious and intimidating, while you were the exact opposite: you were bubbly,optimistic and girly.

You stood out from the faction,because you were young and happy,and this was never a problem to you and to the members of the judgment day.

They loved you for being yourself,the light that contrasted with the darkness of the group.

The five of you always had the best fun together, and,in the ring, you all were unstoppable.

Until,during Monday Night Raw,you heard Rhea and Shayna Baszler talking backstage.

"I don't think she fits the group really well," Shayna mumbled to Rhea, "She's just so different,why did you even let her join?" Shayna said with an annoying tone,while Rhea was starting to get irritated.

"Listen,Shayna, i really love you and all but her difference from us and the reason why she joined are none of your business. So please,shut the fuck up." Rhea answered with a sarcastic smile,while getting up to do her entrance for a promo.

You hurriedly ran off,trying not to get caught,but you were stopped by Shayna's hand gripping strongly your arm. You tried to break free,but you weren't as strong as her.

"So,listen to me,for once and for all. You do not belong here and in the judgment day,get this in your head. You do not fit that faction and you must leave. You,a clingy and annoying good for nothing,stole my place in the judgment day. I hope they make you leave,because you don't deserve to be in that faction and in WWE at all. Got it?"

Her cruel words felt like daggers in your heart. Did you really not belong with them? Do they want you to leave? Are they faking it all because they're waiting you to leave?

Tears started to flow,and Shayna finally let go of you.

You started to ran,with no destination at all,just trying to get away from there as soon as possible,until Damian saw you.

"Princesa! Wait! What's happening?" He shouted while chasing behind you.

Your breath was shaky and your nose was blocked form all the snot that formed while you were crying,so you started to slow down.

Damian took advantage of this,and he catched up to you,holding your arms.

"Y/N,what happened to you? Did something happen? Did someone hurt you? Tell me,mi amor." He said softly after he noticed your tear stained cheeks and your red face.

"You come here just because you're pitying me right? Because you all want me to leave!" You chuckled,while tears were still flowing down your eyes.

"What?" Damian was confused: why did you even think about that?

"Oh,you know well what I'm talking about. You all want me to leave because I don't fit the standards of the judgment day and because I'm annoying. Right?"

"What the fuck?" Damian started, "Who told you that?" He asked,but he didn't even give you time to answer.

"Listen,amorcito,everything you said is completely wrong. What's the problem of being different? We love you the same,and your talent is unmatched. Do you think we would fake all the laughs,the hugs and the tears? Who told you that?"

Your lips started to wobble again,and Damian quickly pulled you in his embrace. "We love you,Y/N. Never doubt about that. Without you we would be like a puzzle that missed a piece,you're special to us. Do you want me to call the others so we can cuddle all together?" He asked with a soft tone,and you nodded,wanting to feel the comfort of your best friends.

After almost 5 minutes,you could see Rhea,Finn and Dominik running towards you. "Baby! We're here now." Rhea almost instantly hugged you tight,comforting you in one of the best ways.

"Damian told us what happened. We love you,lass,don't even think otherwise. You're the missing piece of our puzzle,you make us feel complete." Finn said while carefully stroking your hair,and Damian quickly exclaimed: "That's what I told her too!"

"The husbands are telepathic again." Rhea said while teasingly rolling her eyes,causing the five of you to giggle.

"Dulceza,did you think about those bad things by yourself,or somebody told you that?" Dom asked while stroking your cheeks.

You just mumbled "Shayna",not even wanting to remember the moment.

"Puta",Damian said under his breath.

"Oh,she's gonna pay for this" Rhea said,but she got interrupted by Finn.

How are you feeling about the election currently?

I'm optimistic, so far basically all nation wide polls show Harris ahead.

now we don't vote nationally, we vote by state in the electoral college and that picture is messier with the polls of the swing states, Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Georgia, Arizona, and Nevada being kinda all over the place.

however, basically every poll of the swing states together show Harris leading in enough of them to win, now which ones she's ahead and by how much is very kinda all over the place with different polls showing different states up and down.

but on the other hand, the Democrats running for Senate in Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Arizona, and Nevada, and the Democrat running for Governor in North Carolina are all showing MUCH! stronger numbers, winning by A LOT. Which is hopeful, that their strength is a side of Harris' strength and that undecideds will break her way.

That being said, NO! ONE! should take the election for granted, look at one good poll, or what I say and go "oh I can relax" no, it is dead tie, a neck in neck race, basically a tie. We are with-in the margin of effort, we are in a place where each and every person who volunteers has the power to change the outcome of this election. so please please please

VOLUNTEER

last weekend I volunteered up in northern Maine, Maine splits it's electoral votes and Trump in 2016 and 2020 won an electoral vote for the 2nd Congressional District in Northern Maine. So I went up there and knocked doors, talked to a dozen or so voters. This is just a little snap shot, but I was talking to voters who were not sure thing Dems, independent voters mostly. And all of them, pretty much, were very enthusiastic about Harris, even the one Republican (not on my list) I ran into had nothing to say about Trump, nothing, liked the District's Democratic Congressman (a lot). Walking around and driving I didn't see one Trump sign, not one sign for the Republican running for Congress either. I saw a number of signs (in lawns) for Harris/Walz I also saw no Trump signs on the road up. Rural Maine used to be infested with Trump signs, they've disappeared. Does that mean anything? idk, but take my little snapshot to say, come out and canvas right now guys, people are friendly and pumped up and will thank you and you'll feel great.

The only cure to election fear and stress is to do something, to volunteer and talk to voters.

Hope is something you learn

Here's the thing: I'm not a naturally hopeful person.

I'm not running a good news blog because I've always naturally gravitated toward good news. I'm not running a blog titled "reasons for hope" because hope is something that comes easily to me

It's actually the complete opposite. Teenage me was a giant cynic and a sarcastic pessimist and probably regarded as a killjoy, tbh. Picture a young, bespectacled, well-informed raincloud, maybe, idk. I could find a negative point to undermine just about anything

Nowadays, I'm one of the most hopeful people I know when it comes to the future - especially among people who actually follow the news

So, if you're feeling hopeless or depressed or anxious or despairing - or all and more - about the state of the world, and you're tired of feeling that way, I want you to know that you absolutely do not have to be a naturally hopeful or optimistic person in order to find hope

I got here because I struggled and clawed my way to hope, deliberately, because I needed it desperately. And the start of that path was bookmarking good news websites and checking them every day - which is why I built this blog

Here's the thing: the news, social media, and the human brain itself are all very biased toward negativity. The human brain is wired this way to help us survive things like tiger attacks - and since people are biased toward negative information, they click on it more, so negativity generates way more clicks and makes way more money.

It's a sucky, vicious cycle. But it doesn't accurately reflect reality - that's the whole point of bias.

It's actually kinda irritating that it's true, imho, but your focus really does determine (a lot of) your reality

If you want to have hope, sometimes you need to build it yourself. Even when it's so hard you don't know if you ever can. And then you need to keep building it, because the world isn't static and neither does your brain. Hope needs maintenance, just like everything else

So it's lucky, then, that human beings and the world are both generally better than we think - and certainly better than news or social media is willing to tell us
