I know we’re all excited about the Jurdan moments in Prisoner’s Throne but I gotta circle us back to Wren and Oaks story for a sec. Has anyone else noticed the Snow White undertones of the story? It very, very loosely based where it is more subtle nods but it’s there. Wren as a child being corpse pale, the hunt for her heart and the deception of an animals heart!?! Those are the one I remember in Stolen Heir. In Prisoners Throne, Oaks kiss brings her back to life!?! I love when Holly Black does this. Like with Cruel Prince it was Alice in Wonderland. Did y’all notice any others cause their story already has me in a puddle in the floor then there are these nods and aaaaahhhhh

Ok so Wild and Wars are going together in the dungeon right? And that's great for them (maybe), but I ALSO want to talk about how Time and Four are going together!!

Most of us have seen this before I think- and I've seen people saying they want confirmation on if it's Time saying 'you never cease to impress me little one' or not. The older doodles are still said to be canon- so I ALSO would like confirmation on it.

The ask mentioned Time knowing about the four sword- and Jojo didn't correct them or say otherwise, and said most have confided in him. So I think it's reasonable to assume Time knows Four's secret from the doodle. And I want to see it in the story!!! and they're going together in the dungeon! (with Wind too of course!!)

also small brag that I guessed and said months ago that I wanted Time and Four to go together. They have Wind too, and I am VERY excited bc I wanted to see them together and now they ARE fhxvfgxgdgd

Obviously we don't know what Jojo's planning, and I have no idea if this will come up or not. But it'd be really cool wouldn't it?

TW/ Slightly heated (no hate to those i'm talking about, i just need to rant about it a little) (also it's definitely just me ranting about a drawing of a character in a fanganronpa keep that in mind LOL)

I'll be honest, people who are handwaving Whit's creepy expression as just "oh he's just finally caring" slightly...irk me ?

It feels on the same level as people who said back then that the tape disappearing was just an "animation error".

The story makes it so clear at every turn to not have Whit express anything towards the execution or the deaths around him. If this was him being unable to save Levi and having to watch him die...then why does he react nonchalant to the execution ?

In fact Whit's reaction to Min's execution more so sounds like Whit is trying to have a normal reaction and failing but that's like another thing.

The way his sprite is drawn as well just is not like other "breakdown sprites" we've seen, like it's straight up factual, his eyes just straight up are drawn similarly to David and Xander's sprites (I checked there aren't other expressions that depicts it). He also doesn't sweat which is very common for a lot of stressed sprite.

And i'm not even talking about his arm suspiciously being behind his back.

We KNOW sprites end up foreshadowing things in the future, we quite literally saw it with Arei with her reaction to the murder secret.

The idea of Whit just being stressed just is not in character with what has been shown of Whit's character thus far and it doesn't fit the expression that's drawn on him or the suspicious hand behind his back.

"You're just thinking too hard about it" "It's not that complicated" Then why am I fan of DRDT at all, like why am I a fan of a fan series based on a MURDER MYSTERY series if everything can just be handwaved by the magic words that are "you're just thinking too hard about it !".

Just because an explanation is simpler doesn't mean it's more accurate or more likely to happen, people who make more complex theories aren't "overthinking" things they are simply trying to make a prediction that works unlike the more simple interpretations that are riddled by contradictions.

I've technically fallen victims of "overthinking" at times like my Hu theories however Ace being the culprit answered a lot of my issues with mostly just one exception that is relatively minor in context of everything. Ace being the culprit also still was given very nice foreshadowing and hints to munch on.

The point of red herrings is that they surprise you with more fitting and compelling twists. Brushing off Whit's entire suspicious behavior as a red herring is just lazy analysis because I could do that with pretty much any theory ever. Sure Whit could be a mastermind herring however his behavior itself can't be a red herring, he has something going on and that's what's setup, what that will be will only be discovered later on.

I made my fair share of very wild theories but this isn't about Mastermind Whit or Timeloop Whit, this is about Whit's character and how he's been written thus far. People are trying too hard to woobify him into the "happy go lucky character actually is secretly sad" even though DRDT has made sure to often counterarc very overdone tropes (Nico for exemple).

Like my girl Eden was given more suspicion for WAY LESS.

ACT 6/TWO HATS

God I love how much Loop tries to hate Siffrin but deep down really just can’t bring themselves to commit to it. Like they start off as being intentionally annoying because “look this idiot got stuck in a timeloop! How embarrassing! He wants to stay with his friends but can’t bring themselves to actually talk about it! COULDN’T BE ME” and they empathize with Sif because yeah no shit they went through it too. They actually want them to break free of the loops because what they are going through is horrible and so so painful that it hurts to watch.

They give actual genuine advice (hidden behind alot of teehee’s) and talk through Sif’s ideas and theories. They are always there waiting for Sif to come back and try to work out the next thing they should be doing. And, in my opinion, I think they enjoy it. They went through their own timeloop hell and they finally have someone who understands and can talk to about it. Sure that person is you who made the same blinding mistake and is making it worse and you can’t help to make fun of them because its like the you from your most embarrassing moment that lives rent free in your head is right in front of you and you get to be like “hey man what were you thinking? That was really stupid what you did oh my god.”

But I can only imagine how that “haha ur dumb but im here to talk” energy gives way to actual spite and jealousy as Siffrin gets farther than Loop. They killed the king, Loop never could. They find out more about wish craft, Loop never got that opportunity. They can read their native language and speak it again, Loop is still stuck with headaches and fleeting memories. And worst of all? They won. They get to live their lives with their family. They made it through hell and won. The King is defeated,their family is with them promising to stay together and keep adventuring together seeing all these wonderful places and things. And Loop never will. Loop lost their family. They lost them because of their wish. A wish they couldn’t handle. Their family THEIR family is gone forever. The only one who can remember them is stuck with copies that see them as a stranger. And the only way to get them back? To even HOPE to have a chance at being by their side? To kill the better version of you. To murder the one who the Universe loves more. To kill the person who stole your happy ending and family. The person who struggled the same as you. Who came to you whenever they needed help, because they trusted you. The person who came so SO close to failing just like you, but you saved them because you know how much it hurts. The person who you wanted to succeed. The person who you can’t kill no matter how badly you want to.

If you lose to Loop in their fight. They won’t kill Siffrin. They can’t. Not after all of the pain the two of them went through. Not after they have a chance of being happy. Loop just can’t do it because they feel that they don’t deserve it. For all their talk of Siffrin needing to work things out with their family, Loop can’t do the same. They can’t look them in the eye and tell them they are Siffrin, they tried so so hard but couldn’t do it and left them all behind. In their eyes, why should they get a happy ending? They doomed an entire reality, their family and left them behind. They can’t take Siff’s place because they know Siff deserves it. Because they won. They made it. They earned their happy ending.

And im so FUCKING NORMAL ABOUT THAT.

hi hello I am spontaneously combusting after that ahsoka premiere it was everything I ever wanted. sabine was perfect. hera was perfect. ahsoka was perfect. chopper was perfect. the loth cats? perfect. david tennant being back as huyang and having a predominate role in the show, not just in the sidelines? perfect. seeing the phantom in a space battle in live action? perfect. the way ezra touched the back of his neck in the hologram like he always did in animation? perfect. sabine having ezra’s lightsaber? perfect. sabine living in ezra’s old communications tower home? crying. going to the corellia shipyard? perfect. the mention of an HK droid????? fucking perfect. the thing the empire remnants are building being called the eye of sion? flawless. morgan being a dathomir witch? screaming. the inquisitor being back with that helicopter lightsaber move?? iconic. I need to stop listing everything I loved about this premiere because this post will never end. I cannot wait for the next episode I have so many theories can’t wait to see how this pans out.

MK Worldbuilding Rant Post

Okay so I got curious to see if there was any canonical maps for the realms since I want to draw maps for each of them and if there are any it'd make it easier for me. There are two different ones for Outworld but-

(1 from Deception Krypt and 2 from MKX phone game with edits from the Reddit post I found them from)

These are horrible in my opinion. Outworld has conquered a minimum of 5 named realms (Edenia, Osh-Tekk, Zaterra, Vaeternus, and Arnyek Islands. 6 if you count the unconfirmed Tarkata) and many more unnamed realms. So I ask- why is it so small???

There is a max of 9 continents (give or take) in it. But the land on the left is labeled "Lost Edenia" so those two landmasses are Edenia and the "Artic Plains" could also Edenia since there's a high possibility it's the cryomancer's homeland so the entire left half it just Edenia. Which leaves the whole of Outworld at just 5 continents. That’s stupid and doesn't make sense!

If Earthrealm, a realm that hasn't conquered a single realm, has 7 naturally occurring continents WHY IS OUTWORLD SO SMALL????
