Being interrupted before finishing what is being said

A withering and icy reply (The Secrets of Soulford by the Quincil)

Wobbly uncertain bubbles that even break apart in some parts from dizziness (The Blind Prince by cozycroww)

Pain almost appears to be breaking the usually round bubble into uneven and broken balloons. The little smaller balloons around it are reminiscent of sweat or tears (Heir’s Game by suspu)

I do love that Elaine took some time to reflect on the relationship she had with Charles in the latest free chapter. She admits that when they were together she needed to be saved and that he was a way for her to somewhat escape from her insecurities. They did love each other and that shows, but the way Charles hurt her when he pushed her through the wall is something I don't think Elaine can look past.

Also now that she has gotten more comfortable with herself and no longer feel like she has to hide her true emotions in fear of her bird side showing, I feel like she can comfortably move on from Charles.

We already see her feeling more comfortable on this side of the wall than she ever was during the first chapters when she was still in the human part.

I still lowkey feel like she should have let go of the ring. It would probably be the last push she needed to fully move on, but I can also see why she kept it and also why Sbeastian wanted her to keep it. Even if Elaine no longer holds the same feelings for Charles that dhe did in the past her feelings on the matter are still a bit complicated. Sebastian didn't want Elaine to make any quick decisions that she would later come to regret.

Also, the Rooks totally know what's up between Elaine and Sebastian lmao
