Friday writing but on a Monday!

Since I worked last Friday and I have work this upcoming Friday, I decided to take myself to the cafe today and try to get some writing going again. It worked! I've written two more chapters for Bite to Bruise and am almost done with a third. We're getting closer to the ending and oh what a bloodbath it's going to be!

It feels so good to be writing again after the last couple weeks of not getting anywhere.

Okay, just a question for my fic readers, but it doesn't matter how long the chapter of the fic is, it just matters that I update the story, right?

I'm trying to update as fast as I can, and I have so many fics to update, that I don't want to lag behind and keep you all waiting. I want to be a little productive and give you all the best quality content that I can possibly muster. I just don't want people to think that after they waited a good while, I post a short chapter, and it wouldn't be as good as they wanted it to be. Honestly, I just want people to enjoy what I write. And even if it's a short chapter, I couldn't really let my readers endure another long wait. :(

I guess what I'm just asking is, would you all prefer to see an update regardless, or do you want to see a long chapter update? ^^;

(By the way, I'm writing "The Effect of Water" and "What Makes a Hero" simultaneously a little, and I'm starting to write "See Me in Silent Hill" again in a bit. So...yeah, please tell me what I should do. :O )

Own Work Update!

This weeks Don't Run mobster romance update is STEAMY. And then next month we've got 4 weeks of Bite to Bruise lined up!

I wish we had more female characters like Eleanor Shellstrop. One of the most unlikable people you've ever met. Read a Buzzfeed article on most rude things you can do on a daily basis and decided to use that as a list of goals. Makes everyone's day worse just by being there. Dropped a margarita mix on the ground and tried to pick it up, only to get hit by a row of shopping carts which pushed her into the road where she was hit by a boner pill delivery truck, killing her instantly. Cannot keep a romantic partner despite being bisexual. Had a terrible childhood but will die before she gets therapy. Best employee at a scam company. Just the worst but also can't help but root for her to improve.

Absolute loser. Girl-failure. Bad at almost everything. Literally perfect female character.

When I was young my dad offhandedly told me he thought people treated fish with so much casual cruelty because fish can’t scream.

The words branded themselves across my soul.

As an adult I think he may have been joking. He payed no especial attention to any indignities fish suffered in our household but I could never forget. I saw fish in a different light after that.

Fish kept in tiny bowls, breathing their own poisons, dying by inches. Fish kept in cold tanks, casually disposed of. Fish touted as being short lived when they could outlive the better loved family dog if only they could breathe. Fish casually won and discarded in cheap plastic bags, thrown away a week later.

How they would scream, if they could.
