How did you cultivate your community on here? I feel like I always see you chatting away in replies and answering asks and just having fantastic interactions with people you seem to really vibe with, and honestly, goals.

Do you have tips/tricks for someone who is only just getting back into tumblr after years and years away who isn’t quite sure how to start making friends and vibing with people?

Aww thanks! To be honest- i have no clue😭. Uh I think posting your own (non-personal) content helps a bunch. I try to post like incorrect quotes and stuff because it's just fun, but i've noticed that I think that's why a lot of people follow me lol. But anyways, more content means more things people can interact with :)

That one helps especially when you're starting off! It kind of builds an image of you, not just in a personal sense, but what you like and don't like!

A pretty big thing is posting personal content! It doesn't have to be anything like crazy personal lol, just like "ahh i have a test today" or "im gonna cry" is usually good lol (i dunno if this is obvious- but say actual things that you feel lmao)

And then the last one is to kinda just reach out! Like someone you follow/ are moots with posted the personal thing? Ask about it! Try to engage in conversation when you feel comfortable.

Oh adding onto the last thing, it doesn't have to be personal either! Someone you follow/ are moots with posted a really fun post? Add onto it!!! Be like "oh my gosh i love them sm😭" or "WHAT??? GIRL WHAT ARE YOU ON???" lol just stuff like that

But yeah!! I think the main thing is don't be afraid to reach out or talk to people :)

Oh also having one good friend who already has a bunch of moots helps bc you interact with them, others interact with them, you interact with others. yknow?

@yesiamprocrastinating was like one of my first moots and she has a pretty big community so i kinda just latched onto that lmao😭
