Good Morning/Afternoon and happy new years! I was wondering if you may do relationship headcanons for Anjo Nala and female reader in reverse 1999, please and thank you!
Anjo nala x fem reader
hiii!!! Sorry for the wait, yesterday I woke up very late and went out to the park with my family until late at night and until now I was given the opportunity to write
I read the story when it came out in China and I don't remember very well, sorry if there are any errors, this is written after what happened in the story, not corrected
I hope this is what you wanted <3
Tumblr media
Being on Nala's lap and having her caress your head in her arms she is so soft and warm, the way she holds you close to her body like you are her safe place and sometimes she showers your face with kisses.
You are cooking or doing anything, she will surprise you by wrapping herself around your waist, thanking you for accepting her as she is.
It is very common to see you walking with Nala through the lively streets of São Paulo, they usually go out for a walk when they go shopping or when they are too bored at home holding hands since Nala is easily distracted.
Since you told Nala that you like her voice, she sings to you when you are about to sleep or simply when you ask her to.
After what happened with Manus Victori, Nala is a little protective of you, don't judge her, she's just afraid of something being done to you.
He probably knew you through Verti or you were just another villager, but the only thing you know is that he loves you too much.

Ok I have Thoughts, and Takes. Warhammer 40k Thoughts and Takes.
And they're blazing hot.
Tumblr media
Yeah, I know about the poet, and yeah I know about the gay lore but you cannot look me in the eyes and tell me that "Lion El'Johnson" is not the absolutely most ridiculous name in the whole of the franchise that gave the world gems like "Perturabo" and "Mortarion" (and Ferrus Manus and Corvus Corax, because tautology is the new black). Seriously "Lion El'Johnson" sounds like the self-insert OC of a teenage Tywin Lannister if he'd grown up reading Golden Age superhero comics.
For this, among many other reasons, I can now only imagine Lion as Charles Dance (because who do you typecast to play eternally disappointed, disapproving, hardass feudal deconstructions with a leonine theme?) A slightly de-aged, golden-maned Charles Dance. Needless to say, like all other characters of the above persuasion, Lion can absolutely get it. (Also, Lion lives in "The Rock"? They doin' it on purpose now or what?)
Speaking of ASoIaF....even though it still hurts and I'll be forever salty about us not getting of acceptable closure.....my ASoIaF garbage favourite was a pale, black-haired, vampire-themed, blood-happy, elusive bastard who had an affinity for flaying and (symbolically) wearing the skins of his enemies, not to mention being one half of a very, VERY fucked-up father-son duo. Yeah, it was Roose Bolton. What can I say, I enjoyed trying to work out wtf this guy was all about in the grand scheme. I'm super resentful I'm gonna die most likely without finding out. Sure would be weird if my new garbage favourite in the next franchise I plopped into was a pale,dark-haired,vaguely vampiric, blood-happy, crazy elusive guy who has a thing for flaying and wearing the skins of his victims while also having a horrible relationship with his fath.....Oh. OH. What does that say about me. I don't wanna know.
That being said, I reached my age thinking "garbage favourite" was people like the aforementioned old Roose or Celegorm? Mazikeen? Prince Nuada? or maybe Pintel and Raggetti? I hadn't taken a real hot dumpster-dive until I unearthed the Night Lords and their Primarch out of the trash.
Sevatar. That's it, that's all.
I by no means can even fathom telling longtime fans how to Warhammer - that being said, I'd offer that there is a delicate balance between acknowledging real-life parallels and influences and treating everything as a real-life political allegory in an expansive universe where its draw is that we're dealing with otherworldly measures and notions on the regular. Like. I'm sure there are other issues too pertaining to the larger motives, ethics and concepts of humanity in it, beyond trying to work out if the Imperium fan or the Tau fan is the more fascist. Also tbh...let people enjoy it a little. If they wanna taste the illusory charm of tribalism or the fleeting taste of dying for a political system that treats you like canon fodder yet from which you derive the meaning of your life, I'd rather they do it in Warhammer 40k than outside Warhammer 40k, ya know?
I got into TTS. I'm now having the Emperor's dea- I'm sorry the MOTHERFUCKING EMPEROR'S deadpan snark as a constant third-person narration in my head.
Seriously, it's so good, and it helped me put a lot of the lore in some sort of order.
Finding out what books to read is a pain. They are so many and I gathered the writers change and characterizations change with them. I started from those with the best quotes.
The memes are something I lament I'd not found out till now.
Being into Warhammer while being fluent in Greek and Latin is....something. My joy at seeing latin terms used and being able to gauge the meaning of things by name violently clashes with my irrational rage at the lack of declension. (It's "Ave Domine Noctis" dammit!!! "Adepti Mecanici"! "Sororitas Adeptarum"!) Of course all this is Gothic, so my point is moot. I guess.
Personally I don't mind the lack of female Custodes (or Marines). If they can find a way to include some in the future in the lore without brazenly retco-gaslighting everyone Ba-Sing-Se style, then hey, nice! But I don't want them to force it as prescribed by exterior pressures. I'd rather some more material was made public on the female chapters of the Imperium.
Also I'd love more from the aliens' side, as I've seen it being a pretty big complaint of people who don't like the glorification of the Imperium - though tbf, I do think the Imperium is the most interesting part of the galaxy, and with good reason. Still, I do like experimental stuff, and going cosmic. Would love something more about the relations of the Aeldari and the Drukhari, as well as maybe a dip into Chaos?
It's a goddamn shame an animated series hasn't happened yet.
Me love how many refs are scattered through, especially literary ones (Caliban? Fyodor Karamazov? Nostramo and Curze? Fuck yeah)
Once more, why do larger planets don't have more than one human cultures on them instead of all being like huge cities? Come on guys, do it, so few do so in scifi.
I don't think it's racist to be racist against all-consuming insect dinosaur hiveminds and creatures that murderfuck you on site. The Tau are on thin ice, but acceptable. The Eldar too, though I do admit if they'd given originally birth to aforementioned murderfuckers, I'd find them kinda sus too. (about that whole real-life allegory thing? You see how it kinda falls apart like that, ey?)
Once again, the greater tragedy is the mistakes parents commit when bringing up their children (or not bringing them up). The Primarchs being either held back, struggling against or captive of their traumas is an excellent story against the backdrop of the grim darkness of the far future. I hope we can one day see what the Emperor intended for each of them.
I am very down bad, and if anyone wants to chat or comment or challenge my hot takes, they are free to. Warhammer is not exactly something I can initiate the people in my life into. I read the introduction to my mom and she looked at me like she was considering the odds of me having banged my head real hard XD
Getting into a large-scale cosmic horror when the worst scenarios for humanity have kinda happened and you start at the point of absolute nihilistic despair and have to find out how to function and remain human is surprisingly soul-cleansing at an time when actuality is so absolutely disappointing and pedestrian.
Warhammer and Hellsing Abridged need a crossover.
Why does this universe remind me so much of Second Apocalypse by Scott Bakker?
That's all folks.
Ave Dominus Nox

plot: arsenal women are asked to join the sidemen for a collaboration video and you and your girlfriend are asked to come.
warnings: none really, might come out with a harry version later for fun
Tumblr media
You had your arm around your girlfriends shoulder when they pressed the record button and one of the seven boys who's named you found out was JJ started yelling at the camera.
You had known about the sidemen, you did live in London after all their fans were everywhere and almost all their videos went viral.
You smiled when you felt Caitlin laugh at one of their jokes and looked at her "ya happy we came?" you whispered and she turned to you "I reckon we smash em" she smiled and you laughed at her enthusiasm.
It was early in your relationship and you hadn't made anything public yet in terms of media-wise, you tried to keep it a secret from the team but the captains clearly latched on to your closeness and beat it out of you.
When they were discussing the 'discount code' you slipped your arm off Caitlin and started playing with the soccer ball underneath your feet "What about Gunners" you said when they didn't like their first word.
"Oh yeah Gunners!" KSI said with a shrug as Josh celebrated behind him.
You all went to your spots as one named Ethan just explained the first game. "Someone throws the ball in, touch it once, and then kick for a goal," he said and you all agreed.
"I don't think we need to ask if we're partners right?" Caitlin joked, her Aussie accent popping through as you laughed "yeah but you're going first"
JJ went first, kicking a fairly easy shot but your goal keeper and friend Manu must have been day dreaming cause she watched it go through without moving.
"Manu babe!" you called out "You just watched it go in!" you called out to her which made the girls laugh "I'm warming up" she defended herself and all the girls laughed again.
You were happy you agreed to come now it seems more fun than you thought.
The boys were still celebrating as you patted Ruby "your turn Rubesicle" you told her as she and Noelle went over.
You looked at Caitlin whose competitive nature had taken over her as she started to squint around "You're going to get lines if you squint Catie" you teased and she shook her head "Shut up".
You smiled, proud of yourself as Ruby took her shot and Toby caught it, next was Harry who had an impressive kick but Manu shot up and tapped it away which left you speechless.
All the girls erupted in cheers at your friends talent and all the boys clapped whilst complimenting her save.
"Care to do that against Chelsea next time?" you called out and smiled when you saw Manu look at you with a deadpan expression.
Noelle went next and also kicked an incredible shot but Toby blocked it in the same mannerisms as Manu.
Everyone went into shambles again and Noelle went to her knees, you got so excited that you clung on to Caitlin that let out a loud gasp.
"That was the save of his lifetime!" Noelle yelled and everyone laughed.
Next was Ethen who hit the post and you and Caitlin walked up to the camera which you smiled at.
"Hi my names Caitlin Foord" Caitlin introduced herself "I should score but we'll see" she shrugged, you laughed at your girlfriend as you repeated her words to her "C'mon Caity" you encouraged before throwing the ball up and watching as she touched it with her knee and kicked it into the middle and straight into Toby's hands.
"Caitlin!" you yelled knowing that she could kick a better goal in her sleep "It is scarier than you think" she defended herself to you as you both laughed going back.
You watched Josh go next as he tried to do something cool but failed...miserably.
You couldn't hold in your laugh as he whipped his head around to see where the ball was and Simon who was next to you laughed harder from your reaction.
"We brought grandad with us today, sorry" Ethan yelled out and for a second you felt bad for the man but he was also laughing at himself so it seemed fine.
You and Caitlin walked up again as you looked into the camera.
"Hi my names y/f/n but if I miss it's Caitlin Foord" you smiled before Caitlin yelled out a 'hey' as you smiled cheekily at her.
Caitlin threw the ball as you touched it with your right foot to keep it on the ground but went back a little to smash it, it seemed like it was going to go in before Toby stretched out his leg and hit it out with his foot.
You groaned as Caitlin laughed at you and grabbed you to take you to the line.
"You almost made me do the splits!" Toby called out and you laughed "be more flexible then" you defended with a smile.
A couple more shots later and a failed trick shot the whole fourteen of you were smiling ear to ear as you all had fun. Simon got another one in and now you and Caitlin were going up "I reckon low corners he's expecting high shots" you told her as you looked at the goalie.
"hey, no team chatting!" JJ called out as you both laughed and separated, you threw the ball and Caitlin touched it before kicking back left corner which he thought would go high, just as you predicted.
You cheered for Caitlin before she opened her arms for a big hug as you ran back to the girls "on the map" you sang out to them.
It was your turn soon enough and you did the same thing as Caitlin but switched to your left boot so it would go the other way which Toby got confused by and dived the other direction.
"Oi she's strategic!" Simon yelled out towards you as you gave an innocent smile to them which they laughed at. When you were walking back Caitlin whispered in your ear "such a smart girl" she praised as you blushed.
Once it was your turn again you completely smashed it with your left foot making the ball go fast so Toby wasn't quick enough to stop it as it hit the net.
"Let's go!" Noelle yelled out from her spot on the side and Ethan clapped "beautiful!" he hyped as a smile formed on your face and Caitlin laughed.
The boys ended up hitting 5 before the girls and next was a crossbar challenge which Caitlin ended up being a gun at, scoring three of the five you and Ruby being the other two to score one.
You looked at the camera before sighing "something about the boys crying out in defeat is empowering" you shrugged and walked off, you didn't know that clip of you would become viral in a couple of days.
Penalty's were next and you put yourself up second in line, before Caitlin, you were first to get one in for the girls and Caitlin quickly behind as you both clapped hands.
"They're like a dynamic duo" JJ whispered out loud "if only you knew" you joked back and Caitlin pulled you away before you could see the look on their faces.
Your next one you ran towards the left but kicked it to the right making Toby confused and go to the left making your shot clear and easy.
"I'm quite proud of myself there" You smiled at Caitlin who smiled "You're too adorable," she told you before going up herself.
It was now 9 - 7 and you only needed one more goal for the girls to win the round and it was your turn.
"This is really nerve-wracking" you admitted before the boys started yelling things out about 90-minute goals and champion leagues.
You winked at Caitlin before taking your shot when it hit the net all the girls came running at you with cheers and you jumped up and down.
Next was free kicks and everybody kinda sucked at it but the boys eventually scored three, even if you accidentally hit Harry in the chest and had to apologize six times as he said 'It's fine' with a clearly winded voice.
It was two all and we decided to end it on rock paper scissors which you elected Caitlin for.
"Why me?" she asked "Cause I will end up forgiving you if you lose," you said as the others nodded Caitlin just rolled her eyes and went against Vik.
Vik went rock and Caitlin paper so we won and all the girls went into cheers and you jumped on Caitlin's back "Oh yeah!" you yelled out as she laughed at your excitement.
When she put you down she covered her microphone "Am I going to get rewarded for this miraculous win" she said with a smirk and you just smirked back at her.
"maybe".

hi,🐰 I want to ask you about food theory around Indian culture. Eating non veg or not . Because I can't grasp my mind around it. Why would say one cannot eat certain food . There has to balanced. I am not talking about cow or pigs but meat , chicken and fish. And don't we relate taurus with meat?????
Please 🎀
hi! well actually the debate about non-veg or veg is majorly among the hindus and it's not an indian thing as such, many non vegetarian dishes are native to india. hindus, in particular, abstain from it.
there are three major reasons:
meat, onion, garlic and wine or drugs of any sort are of tamasic guna or impure or unholy nature. they increase laziness, anger, lust and greed while reducing the wisdom and sattva guna, or the positive qualities of a person.
that which lives is of krishna, or achyuta, or lord vishnu. even a worm, an ant, an unmoving tree or a fish or bird belongs to him and all that he creates has a right to live. we, as humans, are not given the right to kill these innocent beings for any purpose.
karma; every action, good or bad, comes back to you. animals cannot speak, but they can feel fear, anxiety, anger and hate. when we kill them, they express these negative emotions towards us which comes back to us in the future.
just as the christians have their bible, hindus have the geeta as their code of conduct. geeta, or bhagvad geeta, is essentially a guide to life and spirituality. geeta was narrated orally by lord krishna to arjuna in which he told arjuna about the way of living, the nature of death and the atman (soul), and spirituality and peity towards gods.
while various other hindu texts talk purely about knowledge (you could call them ancient encyclopedias or books), the bhagvad geeta is a summary of human life and guides the person on how to live.
now, in bhagvad geeta, lord krishna explains to arjuna the influence of food on the human body and mind, as in the following verses:
Bg 17.7 — Even the food each person prefers is of three kinds, according to the three modes of material nature. The same is true of sacrifices, austerities and charity. Now hear of the distinctions between them. Bg 17.8 — Foods dear to those in the mode of goodness increase the duration of life, purify one’s existence and give strength, health, happiness and satisfaction. Such foods are juicy, fatty, wholesome, and pleasing to the heart. Bg 17.9 — Foods that are too bitter, too sour, salty, hot, pungent, dry and burning are dear to those in the mode of passion. Such foods cause distress, misery and disease. Bg 17.10 — Food prepared more than three hours before being eaten, food that is tasteless, decomposed and putrid, and food consisting of remnants and untouchable things is dear to those in the mode of darkness.
COMMENTARY ... Nature has designed the human body to be vegetarian. Human beings do not have long canine teeth as carnivorous animals do, or a wide jaw suitable for tearing flesh. Carnivores have short bowels to allow minimal transit time for the unstable and dead animal food, which putrefies and decays faster. On the contrary, humans have a longer digestive tract for the slow and better absorption of plant food. The stomach of carnivores is more acidic than human beings, which enables them to digest raw meat. Interestingly, the carnivorous animals do not sweat through their pores. Rather, they regulate body temperature through their tongue. On the other hand, herbivorous animals and humans control bodily temperature by sweating through their skin. While drinking, carnivores lap up water rather than suck it. In contrast, herbivores do not lap up water; they suck it. Humans too suck water while drinking; they do not lap it up. All these physical characteristics of the human body reveal that God has not created us as carnivorous creatures, and consequently, meat is considered impure food for humans ...
Meat-eating also creates bad karma. The Manu Smṛiti states:
māṁ sa bhakṣhayitā 'mutra yasya māṁsam ihādmy aham etan māṁsasya māṁsatvaṁ pravadanti manīṣhiṇaḥ
“The word mānsa (meat) means “that whom I am eating here will eat me in my next life.” For this reason, the learned say that meat is called mānsa (a repeated act: I eat him, he eats me).”
Lord Krishna proceeds to mention that all people who understand that an unmoving tree, a small ant, a fish, a docile cow, a lovely parrot and even another human being is equivalent to himself is very precious to him.
Bg 12.13-14 — One who is not envious but is a kind friend to all living entities, who does not think himself a proprietor and is free from false ego, who is equal in both happiness and distress, who is tolerant, always satisfied, self-controlled, and engaged in devotional service with determination, his mind and intelligence fixed on Me – such a devotee of Mine is very dear to Me.
once again, dairy products are alright bcs you aren't killing an animal or hurting them for it. in fact milk, clarified butter, butter, cottage cheese etc are all said to be our deities' favourites.
note that, however, krishna or no hindu text says 'Don't eat meat.' no hindu text or verse is like that; they only serve to tell you about the consequences of your actions so that you know what you're doing before you go on to do it. fairly insignificant considering i just spoke of the words of krishna, but my personal opinion stands that fresh fruit and vegetables are quire unbeatable. have three nice apples in the morning and nothing else and you wont feel drained until 12.
as for a balanced diet, tbh pure food, like pure milk, fresh fruits and vegetables etc are all rich in vitamins, minerals and proteins and are usually enough to sustain the body but you cant even find fresh stuff or pure milk nowadays 🤦‍♀️packaged milk is not the same as freshly taken milk from a cow, so it doesn't have that much effect,
i wont go too deep into this, but in our culture things like amla, neem, haldi, chia seeds, jeera, cinnamon etc are very commonplace. like neem is the healthiest thing you can eat, it literally eradicates all impurities from the body. you wont actually need anything else and you'll really feel well. but i do understand that these things wouldn't be available that commonly in foreign countries so i don't mention it too much.
now, like if say you're from a very isolated region in the world where proper nutrition can only be derived from animals and by eating their meat, then such a person will be more exempt from their sin then someone who willingly ate meat when they could avoid it. although ofc, you can't ever run away and eventually things come back, regardless of limitations, lack of knowledge or simply bad luck.
i'd like to end this with another verse from the geeta:
BG 18.63: Thus, I have explained to you this knowledge that is more secret than all secrets. Ponder over it deeply, and then do as you wish.

Reverse 1999 and the Nature of Tragedy: Analysis on how the tragic structure is used and potentially why (spoilers for Chapters 2,3 and 6 mainly)
Reverse 1999 loves tragic characters, we don't go any patch without suffering. Here Im going to explore how the tragic structure in literature is presented in the game through at least three main story chapters.
Tender is the Night (although I have covered aspects already in previous Chapter Two analysis)
Nouvelles et Textes pour Rien
E Lucevan le Stelle
What is Tragedy?
Tragedy is often described as a play dealing with tragic events and having an unhappy ending, especially one concerning the downfall of the main character (thank you Oxford Languages)
Yes this is common knowledge but the core to a tragic narrative is the inescapability on the tragic ending - the way I usually describe tragdies is like a cake no matter how you slice it, it is either too sweet or stale and never a perfect bite.
Tragedy in Tender is the Night
This will be short as I have analysis on the chapter in previous posts so here will be specific bits. Schneider here can be considered the tragic character as she ultimately gets taken by the storm, while I don't consider her to have a traditional tragic flaw the status as a human pretending to be a arcanist does doom her character. She is denied by the Foundation/ the Chicago Branch so attempts to find safety in the Manus by lying that she was adopted into the Greco family, however likely Manus had captured Mariam and after being tortured by them reveals Schneider's identity.
Throughout Chapter Two there is a moments of false hope that she might be saved, somehow surviving multiple bullets (I mean really she was shot so many times arcane healing must do wonders) . It is only the very end to we realise Schneider was never going to survive (gameplay does trick us as well since we can play as her in the boss fight of Ch.1 and for some reason still in the final tutorial stage which I only found out at lvl 40 when I wanted clear drops lol).
Tragedy in Chapter Three
A large part in tragedy is the helplessness the audience feels at being aware of all events yet unable to prevent events from happening. We get the perspective of Constantine setting up the conditions for the Breakaway attempt to occur on the day of the Storm, even making us watch chess board style how Vertin and her friends are lured into a trap. Tragic characters do not need to experience a literal death, as Vertin could be considered the tragic heroine here, her hubris being the hope and desire for the outside world that led her to attempt to leave SPDM. Ofc she doesn't die but her actions result in the reversal of her friends and cementing her role as the Timekeeper.
The point of no return could be seen in the children choosing to escape on an earlier date, unable to see the scheming and manipulation of Constantine to create loopholes the children view as opportunities to escape rather than a trap.
Tragedy in Chapter Six
This is a big one as operas and plays tend to be tragedies themselves. Isokania is a tragic relationship as both Isolde and Kakania regardless if they lived each other were doomed from the start: being an unethical doctor and patient relationship, Kakania not being a licensed doctor therefore completely misjudging her patient's wellbeing, Isolde's own mental instability, dangers of her arcane powers, the history of her family ... the list goes on. Even if they ended up together they would not truly be happy.
Isolde is a tragic character, other than being a reference to Tosca, she is doomed by the nature of the arcane power and the nature of her family. A family own for misfortune as a result of their arcane skills (her sister dying at age 3 to a seance) + the social pressures of being an upper class woman in the 1910s.
Book six having a reference to 'A Streetcar named Desire?'
So we already know Book Six reference multiple tragic operas such as Tosca but I want to suggest the final chapter in this patch potential makes reference to a 1940s tragic play called "A Streetcar Named Desire".
(This is a stretch since Tennesse Williams published the play in the 1940s not the 1910s)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
So. In this scene Kakania attempts to interrogate Isolde on the nature of The Salvation, to confront the fact that she was the co-creator to the painting, the fire was caused by Theophil who hoped to end both his and his sister's suffering but was shot by Isolde instead.
It is notable that Isolde repeatedly asks for the lights in the room to be turned down, refusing to look at the truth in the painting. While we could just view this standalone I think we could make a guess or suggestion that this scene is meant to reference another tragedy.
(Maybe there is an older tragic play that employs a similar scene but Ive only studied this one, someone can tell me in comments)
A Streetcar Named Desire sees a fading Southern Belle Blanche Dubois move into New Orleans with her sister Stella and her husband Stanley effectively as a last resort, her past is filled with "leaky roofs" and instability with sleeping with men to survive, alongside the destruction of the Old South leads to her to seek refuge with her only surviving family.
She almost finds salvation here, finding love in an ordinary man named Mitch. However this is a tragedy. Late into the play Stanley, Stella's husband confronts Blanche on her lies about her past, putting a light to her deception in order to reinforce is own authority over the house. Eventually succeeding in sending Blanche to a mental hostpital (Im summarising a play, I may miss other details and this is long)
And what about Isolde? Like Blanche she is forced to confront the truth she had tried to repress in her memory, remember in a previous seesion with Kakania the detail that she shot Theophil with intent (again who allowed her a gun and who taught her? I guess she can channel the spirit of a sharpshooter?) is omitted, similar to how Blanche in the play distorts the truth with lie, the "what SHOULD be true" could be viewed as Isolde making the world her stage, everything as a performance that never ends.
The idea of having to confront the truth of events being forced into the light is similar to Blanche's reoccurring motif of bring adverse to strong light, revealing all her flaws. However the person forcing them to see the truth is different, where Kakania acts out of a determination to right her wrongs and find the Storm Immunity Ritual to save everyone, Stanley (similar to Mr Karl) acts out of self preservation and malice.
Here's the big one: why does Reverse 1999 employ so much tragedy?
Tragedies are usually employed as a message to the audience, a commentary on the state of the world about people/ individual facing the impossible force of society, its expections and its demand for conformity.
There can be many answers, we still have more chapters to explore the narratives of this game but so far it seems Reverse 1999 wants to tell a story about overcoming adversity, to not be defined by others or your past, to "beat onboard boats against the current" (see what I did there?) even if the odds are surmountable. It is a struggle for both the truth and the future even if the odds are against you.
(This is giant speculation, nothing concrete but yeah feed the brainrot)
(We could analyse each 'focus character' of each patch because I think they generally follow this theme but that's alot, the game is still updating and i have uni soon so)

yeah, reverse 1999 2.2 is probably the worst patch this game had, about the way they represent the location i mean. I am kinda sad about how terrible this patch is, because even with anjo nala slowly becoming my favorite character of the game, this still is the worst chapter yet. I haven't finished yet, i am probably in the middle of the chapter, but shit, the way this chapter show brazil is so bad, so, so bad.
Anjo Nala is a great character, but she is not brazillian sadly (i would love if she was brazillian), she is the best character in this chapter and she is so cute, she acts like a cat. Despite being a Succubus, she is not only about sex, this is something new to a succubus character, often reduced to just sex, sex and sex. She is sexy, a lot, but she don't have sex as her personality, she is, to be honest, really, really cute, her interactions make her look so precious. And a bit tragic too.
Lopera i don't really know what to think about her, she is not bad, kinda the opposite, i am still in the middle in the chapter and her character still is being build. She is from colombia, she looks like a cool character, might pull for her because meta reasons and her design is cool.
Now Mr. Duncan, he makes me uncomfortable, he kinda represents everything wrong with this chapter, something clearly made with little to no study about brazil, about the events that happened here in history. His skin color is only a problem because they put him in that white savior bullshit, the white dude that saves the people from the favelas (that is usually represented as people of color, with is kinda accurate, sadly). The worst part of his character is that he is a veteran brazillian soldier. This decision was taken probably without knowing about the dictatorship that happened here in brazil leaded by the military 5 years before the events of the chapter. If not the white savior bullshit, it would be totally fine if he was white, his skin color is only a problem because of the choice they made with his character.
The way they represent são paulo, one of the biggest cities in the world, is terrible, the clothes of the npcs don't look like someone would use it in their daily lives anywhere in the entirety of latin america in the 90s. The setting of the chapter looks like they wanted to make it in mexico, but was too much offensive stereotypes together, so they put favelas on it and called Brazil and são paulo, without any study or thinking. And the fact that they keep talking about how ABSOLUTE SHIT IS TO LIVE IN THAT PLACE is worse, they made it worse.
I am disappointed with bluepoch and will put that on the survey, usually never do them, but this time i will, shit like this cannot happen again. I don't have plans to stop playing the game, it is one of my favorite gacha games that i play and i have no plans to stop playing because of 2.2, but i am disappointed, a lot, and i hope they never do this shit again, for the gods, please, i really hope they never do those mistakes again.
Also spoilers of 8TH-14. A chapter foccused in the military, on brazil, in the 90s is a shit ideia, after all, the connotations of a chapter focused on the military that happens only 5 years after the end of the military dictatorship could be terrible, but looks like Zeno are the villains in this chapter, with Igor being a villain and all, working with Manus, so it makes less bad, i will discover more as i read the rest of the chapter, in a hope to get out less angry, if the chapter give me enough of Anjo Nala i will probably end more happy than angry if they don't do something worst than they have done yet.

What kind of love triangles I will write:
1) Konrad and Vulcan. They are opposites in the way they relate to people and the world. Konrad despises humanity, considers it a piece of meat, and Vulcan believes in goodness and wants to become a blacksmith after the war (uwu). And an important point! Konrad believes that he would have been better if he had not had the gift of foresight and had been born in another world. And someone (I don’t remember exactly) mentioned that Vulcan could have been the most cruel and deadly of the primarchs if not for his adoptive father.
2) Dorn and Perturabo. No comments.
3) Corvus Corax and Alpharius/Omegon. Both are stealthy, using quick and silent techniques to kill. But Corvus wants to find a family, to become a real human, and Alpharius/Omegon are quite happy with playing spies and that no one will ever truly understand them.
4) Leman Russ and Magnus, obviously. Psyker hater and psyker. Savage (but smart) and intellectual (but stupid).
5) Horus and Sanguinius. Beloved brothers. But too much responsibility fell on the shoulders of the self-centered Horus, and Sanguinius is not of this world. Probably the most difficult for me.
6) Guilliman and Lorgar. Not just because of the Monarchy, but because it is literally a battle between an atheist and a believer. Logic and feelings. Although it is Guilliman who is closest to people than Lorgar.
7) Angron and Lion. A man in the skin of a beast because of his nails. Experiences hatred and pain 24/7, although this particular primarch is the most empathic from birth. Lion looks like a knight, a noble man with a code of honor. But he literally lived in the forests of Caliban for several years like an animal.
8) Fulgrim and Ferus Manus. No comments.
9) Jaghatai Khan and Mortarion. The first one devotes time to his appearance, believes that enemies should underestimate you. Mortarion immediately shouts that he is "DEATH". Both knelt before the Emperor to their displeasure. But if Jaghatai Khan humbled himself and kept his oath as a warrior (what a great guy he is, the most underrated loyal primarch), then Mortarion harbored a grudge and gladly betrayed.

Planetswap-AU Outline!
Finally manged to finish the backstory-outlines for my planetswap-au!
I Lion El‘Johnson (Olympia): The tyrant of Lochos received a vision that a child from the sky would take his throne and so he ordered his servants to kill the infant. But instead they gave the baby to a huntress, who went on to raise him as a girl. Many years later she meets Calliphone, the princess of Lochos who ran away, and while they slowly fell in love, they started planning the revolution.
III Fulgrim (Barbarus): Beeing captured by the tyrannical overlord Necare, Fulgrim spent his whole life in a tower on the highest mountain of Barbarus. While beeing forced to work for Necare, the toxic atmosphere slowly but surely did irreversible damage to his lungs. When the Emporer finally came to Barbarus, Fulgrim was closer to death than live, and even after leaving the planet, he is in dire need of medical treatment.
IV Perturabo (Baal Secundus): Perturabos pod was found by the mutants living in the desert and they raised him as one of their own. And seeing their suffering, he wanted to help. And he managed to, building houses and trying to improve medicine.
V Jagathai Dorn (Inwit): The young Jaghatai was found by the patriarch of the house Dorn. Growing up amongst the feuding houses he soon learned the in and outs of both politics and polite society and became a master of artic warfare. It didn‘t take long for him to conquer the whole world and so he set to the stars, soon having taken over the whole of the Inwit-cluster.
VI Leman (Prospero): After landing in the desert of Prospero, the planets psykic jackels led the infant to the city of Tizca. Roaming it‘s streets, Leman finally found a home in the cities great library. He learned the place of every book and despite beeing of great help to the people of Prospero, he always felt like a outsider due to his inability to use magic.
VII Rogal (Cthonia): Rogal was found by one of Cthonias many gang-leaders, who quickly came to treat him as her own son. As the young primarch grew up, he realized what his mother was actually doing and in a fit of rage accidentally killed her. Terrified of what he did, Rogal ran away and hid out until the emporer arrived.
VIII Konrad (Caliban): There are many strage creatures in the depth of Calibans forest and one of them is the Lady of the Lake. As beautifull as she is deadly and often accompanied by the Watchers in the Dark, she may help those mortals brave or foolish enough to seek her out. But if they are deemed unworthy, they may loose their heart to her.
IX Sanguinius Khan (Chogoris/Mundus Plannus): Raised by a tribal leader, Sanguinius had a happy childhood until his father was killed by a enemy tribe. Gathering his own army, he set out for revenge and once he tasted blood, there was no going back. With both fear and diplomacy he united the warring tribes of the steppe, attracting the attention of the planets empires who soon managed to capture him. The day of his supposed execution, he killed the local emporer and fought his way back out, soon taking over the whole planet.
X Ferrus Manus (Terra): Ferrus was raised by the Emporer himself or more accuratly, it was Malcador who did most of it. He traveled the stars ever since he was young and no, the Emporer definetly did not loose a teenage Ferrus, leading to him slaying a necron construct which coated his arms in living metal.
XII Angron Guilliman (Macragge): Angron was raised by loving parents and had a very happy childhood. Thanks to his empathy-powers he came to greatly care about regular humans and so started to improve live for everyone. He also introduced proper democracy to Ultramar and started adopting every stray cat he meets.
XIII Roboute (Deliverance/Lycaeus): Roboute grew up in the shadows, always hiding from the prison guards and helping prepare the slaves for the revolution. But it didn‘t work forever and he was caught. The sadistic guards were fascinated by the strange boy who was too big and healed too fast. But even after he escaped and the revolution suceeded, Roboute would never be the same again and still struggles to speak.
XIV Mortarion (Colchis): When a especially bad drought hit Colchis, multiple children were sacrificed to their god of nature. Little Mortarion was the only one to return, no longer human and never to grow up.
XV Magnus the Red (Nocturne): Nocturne has always been a unstable planet, the myriad of vulvanos and lavafields forcing it‘s inhabitants to constantly move. The young Magnus soon realized that he had the power to controll both fire and the earth itself. He learned how to fight the planets vulcanos and turned the deathworld into a much more hospitable place.
XVI Horus (Nuceria): Horus was lucky: the high-rider who found him decided to keep him instead of throwing the child into the figthing pits. He grew up in luxury and later used his influence not to improve live for everyone but to have good time, doing drugs and playing gladiator. To him it was just a game, afterall he is a primarch, he wouldn‘t loose.
XVII Lorgar (Medusa): Lorgar grew up in a secluded monestary high in Medusas mountains. As she got older, she realized that she is not a man, which led to her beeing kicked out of the monestary. Wandering the lands she had to learn who she actually is and find a more healthy relationship to her religion,
XVIII Vulkan of the Russ (Fenris): Vulkan was found by a young dragon, who miraculously didn‘t kill the infant, instead taking care of the young boy. As he got older, his interest in humans grew until he decided to join the nearby human village. Quickly discovering his talent as a smith and warrior -as well as a love for everything shiny- he became the leader of his people.
XIX Corvus Corax (Chemos, kind of): Corvus landed on the planet of Chemos, but they didn‘t stay there for long: harlequins found the infant wandering about and after a bit of godly intervention accepted the infant as one of their own. They learned the harlequins dances and stories, how to use eldar weaponery and about Cegorachs mysterious plans as they travelled the webway. And for the story to advance, they need to leave their adoptive family… at least for now.
XX Alpharius and Omegon (Nostramo): While they landed on a absolutly horrible planet, they were together. Speaking a language only the two of them can understand, they did their best to survive as so many street urchins did, and maybe improve that hellhole of a planet.

Oh god, now I'm thinking about the overlap between Diggers(especially with his Manus Vindictae garment) and Horropedia...
I mean... I've thought about it before, I just didn't post about it.
We all know that Horropedia grew up in the SPDM (aka, the school that the St. Pavlov Foundation is controlling), and we know from watching Vertin's experience that it is not a nice place to grow up in.
Likewise, Diggers is a student of Manus Vindictae. Although, we don't know for how long, it's most likely only been about as long as Regulus has been working with Vertin(ie. Not as long as Horropedia). But, the fact he is an arcanist means that he did have to go through some good old prejudice from humans, because humans tend to have very closed mindsets, and humans don't like arcanists.
They both have an affinity for math, Horropedia using geometry to his advantage in his attacks and Diggers is currently studying mathematics as part of his being a student for the Manus and all that.
They also really enjoy art, although they have different tastes. Horropedia stays up until sunrise just so he can make time for enjoying horror stories. Diggers is a night owl who canonically does graffiti and plays guitar in his spare time.
They are also very rebellious, although their rebellion is mostly just wanting more freedom and control over their lives.
They want the people around them to be happy, and know that they care, and remember them...
And then people are driven away because of how annoying they can be.
We need them to hang out more often. Can the rest of the fan community help make them hang out more often?

Hopefully, Manu and Thomas decide to retire altogether next summer.
Even though I really, really want to see them play for more years, considering current Bayern’s situation and the attacking they are suffering, that’s the best option. Hating will only grow as they become older. Leaving on time is good for them and for those who love them with hearts.
I, and many friends of me, have fought for them but suffered for years since 2018. Watching Bayern matches have become a tutoring thing for us, especially for recent three years.
When Manu finally announced this retirement of German NT, at least 90% of my emotion is happy and big relief. I wanted them to leave that horrible place for a long time. I hate I had to fought hundreds of haters every week to defend them, and that was simply due to I posted a short comment in my social media.
Now I only expect that they will have a goodbye match together. They laugh, they cry, and maybe they will wipe tears for each other. Maybe Bild or Kicker will give them a group interview and let them share some secrets we never know, like their 15-year marriage.
Then I announce they are lived happily ever after in their whole career path.

hi there, i enjoy reading your posts esp as a vertin appreciator. im kinda curious abt regulus being vertin's experimental case. before chapter 4, i got the impression that regulus was the first arcanist vertin successfully saved from the storm. but i remember in ch4, i think constantine or madam z mentioned it (forgor) that vertin has saved around 63 arcanists, which confused me bc then what was regulus' sifnigicance? since vertin had some trial and error in trying to save ppl from the storm (hence 'experiment') i wondered where the many other arcanists she saved before the chicago incident are. well it could be just that the . just food for thought bc im invested in vertin's efforts.
Yes pls feed me questions. I thrive!
Regulus was the first arcanist to survive the storm in Vertin's in the Suitcase specifically. Up until now, you had to be an arcanist within a Foundation building or serving under Manus Vindictae to survive the Storm.
Vertin “saved” many arcanists (I think it was 63 like you said) as in recruiting them to the Foundation, but the Foundation failed to provide them with quality of life. Vertin admits this to Arcana in chapter 2.
Many of the arcanists she rescued went insane, deserted, or took their own lives. The others are treated poorly because those who know the severity of the Storm only have 2 options of survival: Manus Vindictae or the Foundation. Those who are alive under the Foundation are kept on a short leash and live in misery.
This is why Vertin decided to secretly do these experiments to see if she could provide sanctuary to others. Regulus is the first one to make it while retaining her independence from Manus Vindictae and the Foundation. This is Relevant because we see that Vertin wants to keep her rescued arcanists in her care because they don’t assimilate well into the Foundation. In chapter 4, Vertin brings this up herself with Madam Z in the beginning before she is taken to Mesmer Jr. and placed in a coma. Rescued arcanists are harder to indoctrinate and we see how the Foundation treats those who disobey.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is also why Vertin wants to find the truth. Even if she "rescues" people under the Foundation or heck, Manus Vindictae, the Storm leaves deep emotional scars on people. Mesmer Jr. has a stigma against arcanaists from outside the Foundation because she deals with those who lost their minds. She is the one who provides them treatment to them.
Hope this cleared some things up! Happy other people are as lore hungry as I am, especially as a "Vertin Appreciator" 🥹

Day three! Back on track!!
So, if you know who Manu's husband is, you know. There is a long long story attached to that pairing
But anyway, please enjoy!
Day Three: Video call
After that kiss, Harry asked him out, in a shy kind of a way. Asking nervously, if he was dating Manuel. Thomas told him no, letting Harry know that know that Manuel married his long time partner as soon as gay marriage was legalized in Germany, then said yes to date. Harry couldn’t quite stop himself, asking Thomas if he knew the man.
“Oh, yes. They’ve been together for…well, a long time damn time. Since before he joined us as a matter of fact. I’m sure Eddie would love to meet you as well. He’s been nagging me for years to find somebody.”
With a huge smile, Thomas hollered down the field to Manuel. Jogging over to them, Manuel grabbed Thomas by the waist. Looking between the two of them, Manuel smiled.
“So, it took Gulacsi knocking sense into you?”
Thomas swatted at him, laughing.
“Hey! I’m seriously injured. Be nice to me.”
Harry laughed along with Manuel. Thankfully, he really wasn’t. They all knew that. Out of caution, Thomas was benched for a few games.
“I’m happy for you both, though. Eddie is going to be overjoyed. And insist on meeting you.”
When training came to an end, Manuel dragged Thomas and Harry to his house. Explaining along the way that Eddie isn’t home yet but he was going to Skype him anyway. Harry looked around in awe at the size of his house. Posters for a 90s band decorated one wall, and a few guitars littered the living room. Manuel led them into the kitchen.
“Beer, water, coffee?”
“Tea if you have any.”
Harry blushed again at both men’s chuckle. Harry watched as he tossed a bottle of water to Thomas, and then dug around his cupboards. A small cry of triumph then Manuel stood up. A kettle in hand. Putting the kettle on, Manuel wandered off for a moment. Taking in the quiet of Manuel’s house, thinking about where he wanted to take Thomas, wondering about Manuel’s husband, a nervous knot building in his stomach as all those thoughts got tangled up in Harry’s head. Harry was startled out of them by Thomas linking their fingers together.
Harry chanced another kiss before Manuel came back. Just another quick peck, Thomas’ lips slightly chapped against his.
“HEY! No making out in my kitchen!”
Harry hid his face as Thomas laughed. Manuel set his tablet down on the table.
“He’ll be happy to see you, Thomas. His number is saved.”
Harry watched as Thomas got the tablet set up. He rubbed his hands on his thighs as the Skype call rang, anxious about meeting him. The cup of tea Manuel handed to him help settle his nerves a bit. Harry almost dropped his tea when the face of an older looking man filled the screen. He seemed quite a bit older than Manuel.
“Thomas! Hi! I didn’t expect to see you. How’s your head? Manu told me that you picked up a bad knock.”
Thomas turned his head a bit to show the man on the screen his bandage.
“Just a few stitches. How’s the tour going?”
“Really well. Most of the venues sold out.”
Harry watched this man’s eyes light up when Manuel leaned on Thomas’ shoulder. The soft smile spoke of a relationship that Harry hoped to build with Thomas.
“So, we can’t nag after Thomas anymore. Eddie, this is Harry. Harry, this is the love of my life, Eddie.”
The man on the screen waved, Harry tentatively waving back, still unsure what to say.
“So, you are the elusive Harry. Thomas had told me a lot about you. It’s nice to have a face to the name. You two finally get your act together?”
Thomas nodded. Manuel picked the tablet up,
“I’ll be back in a moment.”
When Harry heard a door shut, he turned to Thomas. Before he could get anything out, Thomas pressed another kiss to his lips.
