The characters speak around their culture and issues like you're nonexistent, like you're just looking in, unimportant. You don't feel like you know what's going on until it's far too late - and when you're finally crying, you're hit with the realization that you're now part of this place, these people.

nine sols is so wild. you are a three foot tall catboy. you have to smoke a fat one to heal. all the main bosses are your former coworkers. humans are livestock. a guy calls you pet names while torturing you. you have to repeatedly feed a different guy poison to save his life. someone is winnie the pooh style naked the entire game and this is never commented on. people turn into flowers when they die. some of the enemies are robots and when you hit them they bleed. there's an entire area dedicated to making freaky meat babies that cannot be killed through normal means. they grow fish corn in the greenhouse. the final boss is an old woman with more health than god. your best friend has a crush on the guy who tortured you. lao tzu is there and he's also a catboy.

finally have more information about mr. duncan in reverse 1999, the brasillian character from the game, because he is finally translated officially and holy shit, this character is bad, really bad, everything about him is a bad ideia, from design to backstory (making him a ex soldier from brasil in the 90s is a terrible ideia). I defended the character when he was released in CN because i had no real information about him other than his nationality, now i know him and he is a collection of poor study about Brazil and tons of other bad ideias.

Him being a white old men with the whole saving kids from the favelas and teaching them soccer, but making him a veteran soldier is worst considering the military dictatorship that happened in brazil caused by USA and remained in power until 85

i think it is really funny how the genshin fandom try to downplay other games and franchises to make their game look better and everyone just roast them all at once at the same time, because their game is shit, specially about characters design (never played the game enough to like any character on it).

First they did it with arknights, after that, reverse 1999, now Fate. And this last one is really, really funny, BECAUSE HOYOVERSE ANNOUNCED A CHARACTER THAT IS BASICALLY PLAGIARISM OF GILGAMESH FROM FATE!!

Hoyoverse is a fan of the fate franchise and don't hide it, so this bullshit happening on twitter with a genshin fan saying that ALL FATE DESIGNS ARE SHIT is really funny, because the designs that this person think is so shitty is direct inspiration of some characters that hoyoverse have created (and the new one from star rail that is basically plagiarism)

And call fate design shit is kinda complicated, because is not patronized to the same art style and character design, specially fgo. Calling all fate design shit is basically saying that some of the biggest artists from japan right now are also shit, and some of them are popular already publishing authors with popular mangas or other works, or just really, really big artists.

Fgo have a lot of problems and not all characters are great (i kinda hate the tezcatlipoca design, specially stage 3 that is really, really ugly) but fgo is also diverse as fuck with tons of diferent styles, many artists work on this game and franchise and get recognition in game, the name of the illustrators and voice actors are something you can look in game.

well, that is what i had in my head about this shit that anoyed me and made me laugh, because the reaction was the same one as arknights and was really funny.
