I just watched the documentary Indigo Girls: It's Only Life After All, and while I have known and loved Indigo Girls for as long as I can remember, this movie taught me new things about them, and my love for them has deepened as a result.
I've known for a while that the members (Amy Ray and Emily Saliers) were in committed relationships with women, but I didn't know how exactly they labeled themselves, if they used labels at all. Emily Saliers said in the documentary that she's identified as queer for a few years now (I think she had previously identified as gay or lesbian) and feels very comfortable with that label. She said that she experiences physical attraction to men, but not necessarily emotional attraction.
Also, Amy Ray spoke very candidly about her gender. She did not explicitly say that she is trans or nonbinary, but she said she likely experienced dysphoria growing up, and as a child she sometimes wished she had been a boy. She said that collaborating and performing with butch musicians made her feel more comfortable exploring her gender, and while I don't remember how exactly she phrased it, she says that she feels like her gender is a mixture of masculine and feminine.
They got their start by performing in a gay bar; the manager of said gay bar ended up helping to produce their first album. They have been out since the early 1990s, and throughout the documentary they spoke of the barriers trans people are experiencing and expressed ardent support for LGBT+ youth. I love that they are so candid with their sexuality, and I love that they are advocates for the LGBT+ community as a whole.

May your hardened heart be woken
By the soft and distant song
Of all you left here unspoken
All the shards we keep stepping on
-
Take this body home
Take this body home
Call the wind, and let her know
Take this life outgrown
Take this broken soul
Call the stars, call them all
And take it high, take it far, take it home

By "roles" I mean playing a different character, and in a different piece of media; someone playing one character across a franchise only counts as one thing for the purposes of this poll, as does playing multiple characters in one franchise/piece of media
Below are some of this actor's roles. Please only check after voting!
Star Wars films as Count Dooku
Lord of the Rings films as Saruman
Dracula 1958 as Count Dracula
The Wicker Man 1973 as Lord Summerisle
Lee's niece is actor Harriet Walter

The Mark
by @hellostuffedtiger
Obsidian Order Agent, Garak's, latest assignment: surveil Doctor Julian Bashir, the Federation medical delegation’s lead doctor who’s been living on Cardassia, trying to find a cure for a deadly Cardassian illness. Tain wants damaging intel on Julian and he's counting on Garak to get it. If surveillance doesn’t work, he may always use interrogation.
I always appreciate when writers take the Soviet Union as inspiration for the Cardassian Union, and this one takes that concept and runs with it. Cold war vibes in desert weather. Spies commuting, clocking in, and talking shit. The characters we know are all one step away from how we know them in canon, because this is how they would be if their circumstances were ever so slightly different. I'm particularly fond of Garak's Tain-generation coworker. I based this cover on a few different Le Carré covers.

I once casually mentioned that I listened to some emo music (this was months ago) to one of my friends and today I received this text from her:
there was no context, but im inclined to think that she was challenging me?? and im torn between being offended that she thinks there’s even a chance I WOULDNT immediately recognize this by sight, and being offended that I do immediately recognize it by sight

The resistance has fallen. Mac and Layla and their friends have been driven out of Los Angeles and are hunted down by Matrix Corp, the corporation now proven to have played a rather antagonistic part in the pandemic that unleashed bloodthirsty zombies upon the world. With no foot to stand on and no safe home to fall back on, the group has to trek back into the wasteland to reunite with some old friends— in hopes to find the stability they need to work on a plan to take Matrix down once and for all.
But strange things are happening in the wastes of the United States. Ghouls are becoming smarter, and stronger— and the sudden appearance of a series of strange and hostile settlements tells the group a new player has entered the game, and they are out for blood.

i decided to make a short shamura-goat comic panel based on one of my favorite songs. Its in spanish and has a very nice melody and pretty lyrics.
Its called "Rosa pastel" by belanova
Translation:
And in the end, no way
We both destroyed each other
And in the end, how about?
You and I no longer exist

Can you feel it?
That fear running through your mind
Your heartbeat gets faster and faster
As midnight grows closer with no fucking end in sight
The air so deathly still you feel like you can hardly breathe
