Sitting at a bar, drinking with your comrades, you slam down a cup and demand another. It was supposed to be light hearted fun, a little get together, yet you’re spilling out all of your woes to Kurenai about a particular shinobi.

A few hours prior to going out with the gang, you had initially asked Kakashi if he wanted to check out the new sushi place down the street. The flat rejection of “I’m busy” and him continuing to fly off to the hokage’s office crushed your self confidence.

Here you are, brazenly drunk at an ungodly hour with Asuma, Kurenai, Genma and Anko. How long has it been since everyone first arrived? Who knows. Guy was also supposed to join in with the gang earlier but reported he was busy as well.

At some point you were singing with the crew, the next you were about to throw hands with some man who dared touch. Anko, off to the side, is egging you on to rearrange his face. The ones holding you back is Genma and Kurenai, deciding you’ve had far too much to drink and should probably head home.

It felt like the heavens above loved to tease your poor soul. Both Guy and Kakashi pulled up to the party. They would be fashionably late if it weren’t more than 3 hours after the appointed time. Something something, Guy challenged him and didn’t know if everyone would still be here.

“See, my eternal rival! They’re still here youthful and kicking it!”

“Glad you two could make it.”

“Ah, actually I was just stopping by.”

While you could over hear what people were saying, your mind was too fogged up to process what was going on. Instead, you were still telling Anko how you one hundred percent could have taken that creep.

“He…! Would have deserved it y’know! Ya can’t just yknow! Go around touchin’ people like that.”

“Mm.”

“See? See? He woulda haddit co—“

The next thing you knew, you were hoisted up by someone piggy back style. Before you could protest, the warmth of their body and scent of vanilla calms your alcohol induced rage. A round of farewells sends you and your escort off. Smile, wave, and nuzzle into whoever is taking you home.

“Mister escort? You are taking me home right?”

“Yes”

“Okay.. How do you know where I live?”

“That’s a secret”

A gasp, “YOU’RE NOT KIDNAPPING ME ARE YOU?”

“Ah, yes. All of your friends let you be whisked away by some stranger.”

Shaking your head, you mumble in disbelief, “I can’t believe them. They’ll pay for this.”

There’s a pause. Streetlights pass over head steadily. Cool air clings on to your face as he walks.

“Mister escort? Do you have anyone you love?”

Muscles tense underneath you. Sighing, you continue talking, the words still slurring.

“Hey. Promise me you won’t tell anyone?”

“Tell anyone what?”

“Oi! gotta promise first!!”

“Sure.”

“Piiiiiinky promise!”

One arm unlatches from the man’s neck and holds out the little digit.

“Okay, okay. Promise.”

The gesture is returned, linking the the two appendages.

“Do you know… hmnn uh Kakashi Hatake? Think everyone knows him. If you don’t you’re really living under a rock mister!”

Another sigh, another huff. You bury your face into the crook of this man’s neck, covered in fabric.

“I love him.. A lot. I don’t know if he loves me back but what I do know Is that I have to be the one who has to confess first. He would rather bury his emotions six feet under and then jump off a cliff than say anything. He’s— He’s lost so much; I don’t blame him. Even if.. And even if Kakashi doesn’t return my feelings, that’s okay. All I want is to see that man happy and at peace for once in his life. He might not believe it but he deserves to love and be loved.”

“… Why do you love someone like him?”

“Are you kidding? He puts his friends and comrades first over rules, over the mission. His loyalties lies in them. I feel like that’s hard to come by these days. Who wouldn’t want someone like that in their life?”

Your escort stops in front of your door, not saying a single word. Bending down, he lets you off his back.

“You promised not to tell anybody, okay? Especially not him! If I find out you told him.. I’ll hunt you down, Mister Escort,” you threaten, not bothering to look at his face. With poor coordination you struggle to unlock the door. The only thing you wanted right now was to get inside and fall asleep. Once it unlocks and the entrance to your apartment is open, you bid the man a thank you and farewell.

After the door shuts in his face, he whispers. The words are barely audible.

“I love you too.”

I can't sleep until I stop thinking about this oc au so here's some craft. Thanks to the ISAT wiki craft page for being my reference for who would be what

Allison is rock type. Because in canon she diggy hole. But also because of general defensiveness and she WOULD be a tank if she were rpgified. Watch this girl take blows to protect everyone else while disregarding her own hp.

Aelia is scissors type. Hit fast, hit first, win. This totally did not bite her in the ass I dont know what you're talking about. It also makes her weak to Allison and idk that's fun to think about and will certainly not affect how I write her in the future

Mace is originally rock type, but he learns of island and becomes a master of all types through wishcraft (post king). He's initially very much a support, big on boosting his allies, but when he learns of Overpowered Craft he's like shit I gotta get a hold of that. And this totally doesn't lead to an inflated ego and a tear between himself and his humanity.

Malachi is paper but he learns scissor craft. I mean that man was BORN to make things. Born to create. He knows how to use what he has to his advantage. Then he gets really salty and starts taking matters into his own hands all determined like which is cool if it didn't involve slaughter. Actually maybe he's the one who wished away the island. Hold that thought.

Adrian is paper type. Man's is LITERALLY number one evil scientist inventor person. He makes things for a living. He plays with things just to fuck around and find out. I think Adrian would have Changed like. 50 times throughout his life. #1 body craft user.

Y'know, I've mentioned it before, but big medley rips like weird hyperflex but ok can at times feel a bit messy. There's a lot of appeal to that messiness, I talked a lot about that in Man, why does every Bleck actor gotta rap some, but it also gives me a lot less to actually talk about, yknow? A lot of rippers approach things with the simple mentality of making something that purely sounds good, which is fantastic - but I can only say "its fantastic!" to a rip so many times before it becomes uninteresting to read. Not every rip is fit for this kind of coverage, and I was at first apprehensive to cover this one for that very reason - but, like I described with Bramble Blast Collab, these sorts of rips have the ability to tell narratives of sorts through what sources are used in them - meaning within all of the madness. weird hyperflex but ok is comparatively more reserved, but as submitted Fezaki points out, ends up feeling like a big celebration of the whole of Season 3, representing all the big hits and overall throughline to one of the most underrated seasons under the channel's belt.

After an introduction that repeats the infamous opening notes to Megalovania, the rip shows its hand by the chorus - throughout most of its runtime, weird hyperflex but ok is a Grand Dad rip, primarily carried by the tune of The Flintstones from beginning to end. As the channel's most used and over-used joke, its easy to have grown well too tired of the meme at this point, its undergone so many stages of ironic and post-ironic appreciation at this point that its hard to say what the opinion on the meme even is these days - but in my eyes, it was in a great place during Season 3 in particular. Back then, two years after the channel initially started, people were beginning to grow a bit nostalgic for those early days, for that very unique feel that the channel had in its growing pains-days of early Season 1. That feeling was what led to the Nostalgia Critic takeover in the middle of the season, the one discussed in Fragile Snowman (Remastered): After having spent the better part of Season 2 focused on far bigger things than a stupid Flintstones meme, it was really nice to take some time to remember just how much that tune all united us. With Season 3 bringing that nostalgia to the forefront, and like I mentioned in CG Man HD Remastered Edition, the emotions of Season 1 in tow - it makes all the sense in the world for weird hyperflex but ok to headline itself with the funny Flintstone - yet the melodyswap is so natural, it almost feels like a completely original EDM Chiptune arrangement celebrating the channel. Or, well, maybe that's just my unfamiliarity with Hyperflex speaking.

Of course, like I said, its the Season 3 hits that make this rip what it is - its lovely to see Paralyzer be celebrated here so shortly after the Unregistered Hypercam 2 takeover, helping further cement just how much of a legacy the entire King for a Day tournament was going to have way ahead of its sequel being announced. We got Undertale, we got Calamari Inkantation (Off the Hook in KFAD1 reference?), and most importantly - we got SEAN KINGSTON, the legend of Crazy Noisy Beautiful Girls fame himself. It getting an extended 30 second verse all to itself feels special in a way I really can't articulate - as I said back in Take You To The Desert, the Sean Kingston takeover was something purely spurred on by Chaze the Chat's bizarrely high enthusiasm for the guy, and yet all those months after the takeover its STILL being remembered by completely unrelated rippers - that just warms my heart, yknow? It's a lot of the same feelings that Return to Collision Clouds instilled in me, the idea that SiIvaGunner's team members latch onto and care for these small little nuggets of one another's works.

At this point, I do have to fall back to the thing I said at the very beginning of the post and just re-emphasize - weird hyperflex but ok is just plainly fantastic! It is, for a lack of a better word, bumpin', a really celebratory yet fun-loving sound to a rip that is mostly Flintstones - but it EARNS that Flintstones melody through just how befitting its reappearance is to Season 3 in general. Its the kind of rip that exudes genuine love for the channel, and feels like a trip down memory lane on every listen.

AW TEEHEE THANKYOU!!! its been a while since ive had the motivation to like, draw or write anything for em but rest assured im thinking about them so so so much... youve activated my autism trap card though i have an INSANE amount of convoluted opinions on the nature of character dynamics between sigma and sombra as well as sigma and moira and im taking this opportunity to babble about it. sorry in advance.

as for the interaction, personally im of the opinion that said 'tests' are literallly.... just tests. as in like, yknow, bloodwork, scans to make sure the implants and augments he has are actually working to redirect excess pressure and kinetic energy from his vital organs when using his abilities ... ive talked about how i think that sorta stuff works more in this post but tldr is that a lot of the tech and equipment hes using is of his own design and VERY experimental, hes pretty much flying blind here so he kind of has to make changes as he goes and so it's kinda important that his health and safety are taken into account. and he also has a bit of a uhhh. demonstrable history of disregarding his own safety for the sake of his research. it would kind of make sense that theyd be going out of their way to make sure someone stays on him about actually doing the damn tests and keeping track of the results. it just so happens that he's really averse to letting just anyone Examine (tm) him because of. yknow. the everything. and moira happens to fit the bill of being A. someone he feels he can trust to not take things too far (whether or not he's making a good choice here is up for debate, but i think he could do worse) and B. actually have a degree of knowing what she's doing. i definitely think that the only reason she's bothering at least initially is her own curiosity about everything he's got going on, but he also does just really feel like the type to jsut kind of naturally be very endearing . ive said before that a lot of their interactions read as playful to me, at least on his end - he DEFINITELY sounds like he's messing with her on purpose. i think he does genuinely regard her as a friend, and for the most part, he's probably right - even if she's a bit cranky about it. i have a LOT of thoughts about their relationship too honestly probably far too many to cram into this one post LMFAO i think about the dynamic a lot. im a moira apologist idc i think that she is capable of being nice sometimes. just because shes kind of a cunt sometimes doesnt mean shes needlessly cruel, like not only do i feel like messing with his head and experimenting on him given his history would be kinda kicking him while he's down. but ALSO, i feel like she's smart enough to know that making him an enemy would be a baaaad idea. he can literally explode people with his mind. she knows better than to give him any reason to be genuinely mad at her, and i do think he would absolutely NOT tolerate any kind of treatment like that ever again unless it was on his terms and he had the power to just leave if it got to be too much. even as it is, i think the entire process is a bit of a sore spot for him and not exactly something he's thrilled about, hence his hesitation in that interaction - not because it's happening against his will so much as he's regarding it the same way i think about having to go get blood drawn. it's not fun, but it's gotta happen somehow.

all that to say, i think upon overhearing discussion of said 'tests' without further context mattra would NOT be happy about it, likely getting defensive the same way sombra does. he'd probably be a lot harder to dissuade than she is tbh, i dont know if he'd really take moira's word for it that there's nothing underhanded going on here unless sig told him so himself, and even then it would still put his hackles up. he's probably very nosy about it for a very long time. just to be safe.

as far as nicknames/pet names go, in my mind theyre both very... awkward about these kinda things i guess if that makes sense? emotional vulnerability comes easily for NEITHER of them, between sig still recovering from decades of isolation and mattra just naturally being very guarded and bitter (for good reason!) and not used to outwardly expressing his care for others, especially not for some random human who seems to have decided that they're friends. to me, their dynamic is very much one of tentativeness and battling with distrust and insecurity. i think it would take a very, very long time to get there, and even longer to actually be able to casually say stuff like that without wanting to explode and die on the spot. i do think sig is a bit more outwardly affectionate than mattra, but even then, a lot of it is kinda tempered by the fact that he's just very forward with everyone about everything at this point - he's kind of desperate for positive connections with others that he can hold onto, so he's reached a point where it doesn't take much to get him to consider someone a friend and he's not exactly hiding it anymore. oh, i dropped something and you picked it up before i had a chance to? sick, we are now besties and i would kill for you.

i think that sort of attitude would catch ramattra off guard and he'd not really know how to react to any of it. sig could call him anything at this point, but if it's in an affectionate tone he WILL bluescreen about it. ramattra.exe has encountered an error and must restart

i do really like sig's valentines voiceline, so i might just roll with 'starlight' even if it's a bit cheesy... hell, now that i think about it, i think he'd do that specifically BECAUSE it's cheesy and will probably elicit an eye-roll or a 'stop that'. he seems to enjoy pushing people's buttons. maybe bothering his friends is his love language idk

favorite thing about them

she’s just. genuinely very enjoyable. like I feel like other characters I have more specific things to say about them but she’s literally just very fun to watch I love her beautiful woman weird guy who is also a worm energy. her swagger her panache her power. all the scenes where she’s doing her professional science job and also just saying some vaguely insane shit are important to me. but then like I also think one of the most interesting things in her character was kind of unintentional as they were trying to sort her out where early jadzia was a lot quieter and more serious and theoretically more like she was before joining and then she just kind of evolves into her final form. like I don’t think that was intentional I think they just kinda went hmm this character isn’t working let’s try something else but I think the idea that sometimes it’s this gradual progression towards a balance (in a different way than it is for ezri later as well) is an interesting one.

least favorite thing about them

it’s too easy to talk about tears of the prophets and the whole like “she’s never mentioned that they want kids before now but since they’re killing her off she is now Woman Who Wants A Baby because i guess her death isn’t tragic enough otherwise, and it feels like cheating to talk about how “if worf hadn’t shown up it would’ve been you” (idr if that’s the exact quote and I refuse to look it up but it’s like that) is a horrendous retcon, but holy shit everything that happened at the end of s6 into s7 was like. it’s just so clearly spiteful?? like I’m not breaking new ground here we all know it but god.

also I do think her willingness to just like throw her life away for some random guy she met two days ago is kind of funny but if I knew her in real life it would drive me insane

I feel like I have seen people say she’s not the best written character and I don’t think they’re Wrong (and i do feel like to a degree they do more interesting trill stuff with ezri) but it also doesn’t. bother me that much in this case tbh.

What does “aromantic” mean?

An aromantic person is someone who doesn’t experience romantic attraction- in layman’s terms, someone who doesn’t get crushes. (Side note: This is an extremely simplified description just for the sake of people who have never heard the term before. I know this doesn’t necessarily fit every aro, and I’m not trying to exclude anyone. Please don’t yell at me about semantics.)

It can be combined with any sexual orientation (aromantic bisexual, aromantic asexual, aromantic lesbian, etc.)

Why Jotaro?

Unlike his predecessors, Jotaro did not have a love interest as a protagonist. He gets angry at the girls who hit on him at school, and when Polnareff suggested tactical flirting with Midler, he seemed reluctant, saying “Yare yare, do I really have to say that?”

In an interview between Hirohiko Araki and Shoko Nakagawa, when asked about Jotaro’s preference in women, Araki said, “I don’t think Jotaro really likes girls.” (www.youtube.com/watch?v=dTh1woTmDqs)

Few (if any) aromantic characters exist in popular media, and aromanticism is heavily stigmatized. Creating headcanons can help spread positivity, and as an aromantic person, headcanoning Jotaro as aromantic greatly helped me come to terms with my own identity.

Well, sure! That’s a perfectly valid and reasonable interpretation. Headcanons are just that- headcanons. Everyone has the right to interpret characters however they choose.

As mentioned, aromantics suffer from a severe lack of representation in media, both in canon and fanon. I hope to promote the aro Jotaro headcanon to spread awareness of aromanticism and help aro Jojo fans, but you’re not obligated to support it.

Of course, aros come in all varieties. He could very well be aro and gay, or aroace, or whatever you like.

But he’s married!

It’s important to make the distinction that Jotaro is divorced, not married. Whatever the reasons may have been, ultimately Jotaro’s marriage failed.

Marriage doesn’t necessarily invalidate aromanticism. There are a number of reasons an aro might choose to get married, ranging from genuine healthy domestic partnership to amatonormativity/compulsory heterosexuality.

This has never stopped anyone from headcanoning him as gay, also, I’d die for Jolyne’s mom and could write a whole other powerpoint on why this fandom treats her like shit. But that’s a story for another day

You don’t have to stick with one interpretation of a character all the time. You might choose to write him as aro in some fics, while also writing ship fics as well.

 Okay okay so, everyone is very surprised first year when you’re placed into Slytherin.

This is because during the train ride you just seemed so pure you were wearing your favorite pastel colored dress and looked basically like a real life doll

- You could tell apart the twins easily, unlike everyone most of the time, which resulted in them trying to play tricks on you a lot

You would play along for a bit before finally saying, “I can tell you two apart ding dongs, I’m not your girlfriend for no reason, now stop it or I’m ignoring you both for the rest of the week.”  After that threat, they would immediately stop, begging for attention

On days, that you were feeling down about yourself because you didn’t look like the other pretty, popular girls they would cheer you up

They would bring your favorite treats, snuggle you between them, and say sweet things like, “Well, you look absolutely divine, y/n.  And we love you, we prefer you this way it’s perfect for both of us.”  Then, they would immediately start to tickle you, till eventually you accidentally kicked one of them off the bed then they’d burst in laughter

They are also especially protective of you knowing how kind and pure hearted you were and get quite heated if anyone insults you.  As soon as someone even utters an insult your way it’s like their ears twitch and they turn around immediately, defensively standing in front of you ready to throw a punch.

Due to this there have been plenty of times you had to hold them back from beating someone to a pulp, and having to calm them down in a corner telling them it’s fine to which George responds, “It’s not fine.  They’re insulting you and honestly you shouldn’t be fine with it either.  You shouldn’t be fine with them walking over you because imagine if someone said stuff about us, you’d be angry right?  You should be that angry when someone says that to you too...but we won’t go throwing punches if you don’t want us to?  Right, Fred?”  As Fred huffs before nodding and pulling you closer to calm his anger.

Dates with the boys are usually very light hearted you would go down to Hogsmeade and eat snacks together, or they’d set up a little picnic for you with cute foods that they tried, keyword tried, to make knowing that you like cute things

They also buy you cute plushies or clothes that they think you’d like and bring it on your dates saying, “It reminded us of you so….we got it”

Next thing you know, you have like 50 different plushies crowded in your room and you don’t know how to nicely tell them to stop bringing you so many plushies because it’s too cute but eventually one of your roommates tells them off when the plushies start to fill up on their side of the room too

One time they made cookies which were very cute, but almost broke your tooth off as you took a bite, resulting in you having to go to Madam Pomfrey

After that incident, they usually just buy the snacks or have their mother send them food as you love her cooking as much as she loves you especially because you keep her troublemakers in check

Sometimes though they will purposely make nasty things to see if you’d either pretend to like it and keep eating or actually tell them off, it’s their little mini social experiment/prank on you, which you catch on eventually, and whenever you notice that evil glint in their eyes you purposely play along and make sure they eat their nasty food first to see how long it takes till they break

In alphabetical order because that fuckin song “50 nifty United States” has been stuck in my head since fourth grade.

Arizona: Phoenix is hot. Can’t believe y’all choose to live in a place that gets haboobs. Saw Sen. John McCain in the airport. I feel that sums up the state well. 4/10

California: as a resident of the state of Oregon, I’m legally required to say fuck California😌 unless anyone else talking shit about Cali and then we got your back😤 SoCal vs San Fran vs Northern Cal are totally different worlds though. 7/10

Colorado: damn idk how y’all breathe there, them air is thin. But really pretty out there! 7/10

Connecticut: oh my god fuck New Haven. And Stamford, and Hartford, and— Yknow what? Let’s just toss the whole state into the Sound. For real, traffic is the WORST here and I’m so sorry that y’all gotta live like that. 3/10

Delaware: I cannot believe this is considered a state. There’s no difference between Delaware and Maryland/Pennsylvania. 1/10 should not be a state

Kentucky: I really don’t have anything to say about Kentucky. I thought the trees were pretty? 5/10 yeah idk

Maine: my relative has totaled two cars by hitting moose in Maine. Maine scares me. Or rather, the moose do. Also the lobster roll hype is real. And the coast truly is beautiful. 8/10 but an extra point for the moose bc I hate that relative so 9/10

Maryland: oh god Baltimore. Also I’m blaming you for the DC traffic because it’s on the land you gifted them. 3/10

Massachusetts: Patriots fans are the worst NFL fans (the racism is real, especially after fans burned the jerseys of Black players who knelt for the anthem). Liking Dunkin’ Donuts is not a personality trait. The North End in Boston is truly the best place to get pizza in the entire country. Western Mass is not the same state. And the Cape Cod bridges give me nightmares. 5/10 but cause I had to pay taxes two years and it really is Taxachusetts, knocking it down to 4/10

Michigan: it’s a lot bigger than I initially thought. 5/10

Minnesota: it’s Canada but in the US. Pretty driving through the southern part. Cops suck tho. 5/10

New Jersey: why are there so many goddamn highways in this state? Also there are more places to weekend trip than the Shore or the Poconos. Things my friends have added: Newark airport is cursed (valid), the jughandles are nightmares (true), pork roll/Taylor Ham is good and so are bagels and New Jersey pizza (allergic so idk), and everyone is split on whether the shore is actually decent or not 😂 I give it a 3.5/10 out of spite

New York: NYC is fun, Upstate is MASSIVE but really beautiful. Long Island is... yeah I don’t have anything nice to say about Long Island. 8/10 For NYC, 6/10 for Upstate, -2/10 for Long Island, gives us an average of 6/10

Pennsylvania: so apparently PN is three states hiding in a trench coat like NY. There’s upstate, philly and Pittsburg. Personally I think they’re just trying too hard and wanna get the same recognition as NY. Meh. 5/10

Rhode Island: THIS FUCKIN SHAM OF A STATE Just merge it with Connecticut and be done with it!! It’s tiny. Providence sucks. There’s nothing unique about this state that you can’t find in Southern Mass (except MA has cheaper taxes so y’all come to work and shop in MA anyways smh). Also the fingers are really annoying to drive down to get to some beach areas haha. 2/10 you’re barely better than Delaware.

South Carolina: my Black father was invited to a party celebrating General Robert E Lee’s birthday. So... 0/10

South Dakota: very gorgeous, didn’t realize the Missouri River went this far west, but VERY LARGE. I mean it looks big on a map but then you get there and... yeah. No speed limit on highways is a great time though. And the Badlands have mountain goats! 6/10 bc while pretty, living there seems really hard. (Picture is me in the Badlands).

Texas: gave us Juneteenth and Beyoncé and JJ Watts. Thank you Texas. But is very big, got independence from Mexico to keep slavery (yikes), is like 97% private land (yikes) and is like the second or third largest state. Very big. That said, everyone I’ve ever met from Texas is lovely. 6/10.

Utah: Other than Idaho, this is the whitest state I’ve been to. Or it feels that way. Like a, the people crossed to the other side of the street and held their bags because I’m brown, state. And I don’t ski so I can’t even say that’s a good thing (I fell off the ski lift the one time I went, long story). Yeah 0/10.

Vermont: wants to be New Hampshire or Canada and can’t decide which. So it’s just kinda there. Pretty hills though. 3/10

Virginia: let’s be real we all forget that Virginia exists west of Richmond. Nova is a beauracratic and traffic nightmare and half our neighbors had to pass security clearance checks. Hampton Roads and beach area is a tourist and mosquito nightmare. But there were dolphins and I made snowmen on the beach. Good times. 6.7/10

Washington: again, legally required as an Oregon resident to say fuck Washington because it’s all your fault we now are getting a toll on the I-5 border. But you’re better than California. And the Sound is really cool for fishing, love Wicked Tuna. And the fish market. Best salmon I’ve had. Eastern Washington... y’all got Spokane but the rest is kinda sparse. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ 8/10

Wisconsin: cheese is actually good. Again, pretty state, much larger than I initially thought. 7/10

Wyoming: this was the ONLY STATE I lost cell service in when diriving cross country. Kinda surprised it wasn’t Montana, but no, it was Wyoming. Views are gorgeous though so I was distracted either way. 4/10

can you tell us any deets on mc’s first kisses with the sisters please and thank you — like literally anything tho I’m dying for whatever fluff or angst you got going on when the three confess their feelings to mc for the first time. Who confessed first? Who got the first kiss? When and where did this happen??? Pleaseee I gotta know ALL the tea especially when the first sister who shared a kiss with mc has to break it to others (or they just find out on their own) and they are just both super jealous. I´m actually quite torn on how much to reveal here because I do wanna save some of that tea for my actual story. Like, yknow how I kinda differentiate between the "normal" universe and that of The Sisters? Not in this case, lol. While the way there might differ depending on the universe, the order in which the sisters receive their first, well, anything, is probs gonna be the same.

As for who confessed first: I mean, The Sisters is pretty much an alternate universe, which means things are kinnnnda the same but a lot more fucked up. Like, yknow Stranger Things? The Upside Down?

Funny story basically when I heard the name Smokescreen and read a bit about him I didn't have a picture or description to run with SO my mind sorta made one that was a filler. When I actually saw him and actually got a look at his personality I went "Oh shit he's way different..."

Then I adjusted some stuff beyond my initial personality assumptions to really make him stand on his own and he turned into an OC. Oops?

Here's a concept doodle of him:

I'm still deciding on his name. Jumpstart? Quicksilver? Nightshade? Slipstream? Shutter? Other ideas are very welcome. Hmm.

Who him is:

-He's black, bluey-grey, and silver in colouration.

-He's cocky but insecure. (The main thing he and Smokescreen have in common)

-Warrior class, he's older than Bee and Smokescreen but still a fairly young bot so still gets called kid a fair bit.

-Friendly and approachable like Bumblebee except unlike the boisterous playful Bee he's kinda chill and cool with an air of lighthearted mischief. Sorta like that one dope kid in school who knew how to get free snacks from the vending machine and shows the freshmen how to do so as well with a knowing wink.

-Torn between being a lone wolf and earning the trust and loyalty of his fellow autobots.

-He did a major screwup and he's been trying to redeem himself ever since. Only problem is his penchant for mischief and bull headed impulsiveness was already massive so even though it was significantly reduced after the massive loss it still reigns it's head when it comes to loner missions for better or worse.

-Wheeljack was one of the few who to this day still backs the plan of his major screwup as a necessary risk that just happened to end badly. Even tho my boy would have a hard time admitting it, Wheeljack sorta taking the mech under his wing in an older sibling type way and sorta forcefully adopted him as an honorary wrecker had helped the guilt from constantly painfully gnawing at his spark and gave him a new purpose again.

-Through Wheeljack and Miko, Bulkhead soon comes to take a similar stance as well.

-(Slaps roof of his alt mode) This car can fit so much guilt in it.

-One of the mechs who is most knowledgeable about humans in general. He loves learning about earth culture and really really REALLY wants a human charge. He's desperately wanting sorely tempted to 'accidently' reveal himself to one but Optimus already gave him a stern talking too about unnecessary human endangerment.

-Despite what the team would think, he's actually over the top cautious with risks regarding teammate's lives, humans included. They think he's unpredictable as a result of the wide difference in his impulse and caution levels.

-If he had a human charge he'd be worse than Arcee and June in terms of mother- henning. He'd gladly help you get petty revenge on a bully by setting fire to their house but Jesus christ if they are even a block within the flames he will panic and demand to be ground bridged to the opposite side of the world. He's a petty glitch but no way are you gonna suffer for it.

-He'd panic at any possible perceived problem like a human sneeze. Listen he read WebMD and it says here that Raf sneezing means he's going to die and dear God little man stay strong.

-Secretly devastated thinking about human life spans. They are just so strong and smart and adorable yknow?? So Why they gotta die so young? Not fair. Sometimes he curses himself for not going for a science education so he could help humans live longer.

-Never ending stories of his escapades. Everyone is wondering how the hell he has so many at his age.

im being deeply unproductive today, but in my defense i got a set of several complex pictures for the video project done last night, and i still have to actually assemble the files for editing and ill get to that but first let’s bust through some more of this backlog of deer boy au sketches and talk about ronan this time 

this is a LONG one probably, and also, yknow, because its ronan and esp because as you may have noticed he’s not exactly human in this au, there’s gonna be some discussion here of good ole ronan lynch angst-with-regards-to-his-existence-and-religion, so like, heads up there? and. discussion of like. some very sad things, but very very briefly. less discussion and more mention of them. look its ronan idk what to tell you aside from i have at least managed to avoid mentioning kavinsky for now so its not as bad as it could be anyway

(this is probably extremely rambly even for me, im so sorry. i can explain any number of things mentioned here in more detail if anyone would like) 

SO. ronan’s a cambion, at least by dnd terminology, idk how that term gets used in other contexts but the point here is he’s half-human and half-demon, BUT, v important to explain, even tho the characters don’t initially know this and it’s something they work out over time, demons are not necessarily devils; or, more accurately, there’s a category of creature that is not a fey but is somewhat fey-adjacent, follows their own very different set of rules to fey law and are reliant on ley lines in ways similar to a lot of fey beings and spaces, and that category of creatures was granted the name “demons” because that word already exists and this type of creature’s so misunderstood that people mistook them for devils. Whether the biblical demon also exists in this au i havent decided on and dont much plan to because its not super relevant 

BUT. taking inspiration from the horrible bee from canon, demons are, essentially, beings that are created due to a high degree of tragedy on a ley line, and the rules they operate by as well as their motivations are determined by the shape of that tragedy which created them. for example: the hornet demon from the books would be an example of what happens due to violence and bloodshed; it was born of blood shed in anger and life wrongly taken and as a result it exists only to destroy. however, not all demons are evil. example: take, say, a succubus (no stay with me hold on), like the one that niall lynch hooked up with made a deal with over in ireland one day. 

a succubus in this sense is a demon which is born of miscarriage; and they’re Like That because there, the tragedy is not one of destruction, but of lost potential and a life that never came to be. so a succubus is driven to make up for that lost potential in the form of, yknow, making another baby happen, 

and its that power of potential that is also why ronan’s got power over dreams still, it’s aaaall about creation and potential. and his mother, who he never actually met, she hecked off but niall kept the baby, wasn’t evil. just. operating on a different morality system but one which had no interest in hurting anybody. she’s still kicking around in ireland somewhere

RONAN meanwhile still has his two brothers, haven’t figured out yet if matthew’s still a dream thing or not, but. niall never got around to explaining how the demon thing worked before dying because it’s niall he’s terrible at explaining things. but ronan started being able to shapeshift p young--he’s got a fully human form, a fully demonic form, and a form that’s generally called hybrid but really he can shift to anywhere along the spectrum or just pop the wings or the tail out etc etc etc. his brothers both know ronan’s not human, its a family secret, its all chill, except then one day ronan shifts out the wings to help save a baby bird that fell out of a tree and someone outside the family sees that happen and from there things just get real bad and the lynches have to leave ireland in a hurry 

ronan’s demonic form actually ends up being strongly influenced by his own opinion of himself as he grows up; the church has him filled with enough doubt that he grows the horns and becomes more hulking and frightening and all that jazz, and he suspects that he would be burned or expelled from a church’s grounds if he were to shift forms on sacred ground, so he never tries it (he would not, because, as was previously stated, his mother isnt evil, but he doesnt know that) and he just. he hides it real hard. especially after niall gets himself murdered before ronan can finally just ASK about his mother

but! before that happens he meets gansey, who has a lot of interest in the fey and a theory that’s not quite right but is on the right track about demons being some poorly understood class of fey rather than something evil and that gives ronan a lot of hope for a while

yknow until he sees how much iron effs up someone who’s even got a LITTLE fey blood in them when adam gets shot and how when ronan holds that same arrowhead that put adam in so much pain it doesn’t hurt at all, rip 

he tells them that he’s a cambion well before he shows them the alt forms because there’s a point where he feels that they ought to know esp since ronan’s back to existential dread over what exactly he is, it’s kavinsky who ends up forcing him to shift in front of them for the first time, the whole kavinsky thing’s gonna DEFINITELY take at least one post all on its own a lot happens there, but for now: this is why ronan knew that pryderi wasn’t a normal deer (that and also because pryderi is a white tailed deer, which dont exist in england, so ronan was like, thats. thats not a real animal thats gotta be a fey) and also leads to some fun between him and noah because noah, unbeknownst to ronan, has decided that he and ronan are in fact engaged in a game of chicken to see who gets caught/outed for what they really are first. 

(ronan and gansey dont know what kind of fey noah is exactly. ronan assumes he’s something weak like a brownie. noah is definitely not a brownie)

last picture’s unfinished because idk why ronan’s fully demonic form is so hard for me to DRAW but he’s shaped roughly like beast from the disney movie, except as a big bird monster. also if ur someone he likes and you sleep using him as a pillow it’ll be the best sleep of your life w/ really good dreams and ronan also sleeps v well, its a thing that happens, ronan is in fact the best pillow
