I've gotten *marginally* better at anatomy recently, so I've been slowly trying to give Rhonlos the body type I originally envisioned him with, without straying so far that it feels like I'm being unfaithful to his character

He keeps his wife's ring around his neck almost always! It was confiscated when he was imprisoned (the half naked sitting doodle), so any time I draw him shirtless I always forget :(

His original belts and general clothing is all stolen, and thus old and worn down. The planet he's from is mostly water, so there's algae and barnacles on em. New design, however, he cleaned all of them off. Partially because I wanted to emphasize the separation between himself and his home, and partially because I didn't feel like drawing them <3

He used his old pants to fashion himself a scarf/hood. He's going to need it. For the same reason he might need a hood, I made him roll down his sleeves. NO SKIN ALLOWED

However, because he used his old pants, he is forced to continue wearing his cargo pants, leaving a bit of his legs exposed. Sunscreen time.

It was so hard designing him while still keeping the disguised arc in mind- I didn't want it to feel like i just *forgot* about that outfit, so I hope the effects of that still kind of show through his cargo pants, undershirt, and shitty haircut

Speaking of undershirt, I let him fashion the snoop dogg tshirt into a turtleneck to hide more skin, and because I headcannon that he's cold all the time now (which is a new sensation for him, a fish guy who is resistant to cold)

He got rid of most of his belts because uh oh! He can't have silver. I'd like to think even if silver didn't have an effect on him, or even if the belt buckles weren't silver at all, he got rid of em just to be safe

Slight red in the tips of his fins and center of his eyes now! This is because he is a vampire and I determine what looks cool no I did not steal this from gillion tidestrider shut up.
