Gilderoy Lockhart/Female Reader One-shot
Tumblr media
🔞MINORS DNI🔞
Warnings: explicit, smut, professor/student relationship but reader is of age (7th year)
Also not proofread because I’m ashamed of my latest hyperfixation
My AO3 collection of Lockhart fics
“You’ve gotta be fucking kidding me…” you hear one of your classmates grumble from in front of you, voicing the entire class’ thoughts.
There are only so many times you can defend that smiley idiot. Sure, you can be delusional at times—foolish on occasion—but even you know that this is just absurd.
How can you possibly justify another pop quiz that has zero to do with defending yourself against the Dark Arts, the very subject that you’re supposed to be learning here? Another pop quiz about Gilderoy Lockhart’s evening haircare routine, with a strong focus on which tonic he prefers over the other?
There is no way in hell you’re going to be able to rationalize this as just another misguided attempt by the flashy professor to entertain you all and take your minds off the rumored Chamber of Secrets. Not when Lockhart looks as if he’s proctoring an O.W.L. rather than a list of questions you’re pretty sure he grabbed directly from Witch Weekly.
He paces along the perimeter of the classroom, observing the class for any signs of cheating. You don’t know how to tell him that nobody—not even you—would resort to that for such a pointless quiz, mainly because that would be more effort than his class is even worth.
You used to take pride in acing these quizzes, back when you were just another one of his awestruck students. Much has changed since then, but these pointless, self-absorbed exams of his have stayed painfully consistent.
What exactly are you supposed to do with this information after you graduate…?
When you get to the final two questions— “What is Gilderoy Lockhart’s favorite snack?” and “What is Gilderoy Lockhart most proud of?” your mind immediately supplies several lewd responses that you mentally chuckle at. Imagine the look on his face if you actually…
Your eyes briefly snap up to where he’s standing over one of your classmate’s shoulder, tutting loudly at whatever half-baked response the disgruntled boy wrote. Beside him, a few of his friends audibly snicker, which makes Lockhart look around suspiciously.
You quickly turn back to your quiz before he can make eye-contact with you, and you brazenly decide to spice things up for once.
After all, you’re fairly confident he won’t actually discipline you for it. Not if he doesn’t want to risked getting sacked first.
Half an hour later, Lockhart collects the quizzes and shamelessly rifles through them at the front of the room, his feet propped up on his desk.
While he does so, your classmates exchange exasperated eye-rolls but for once, you’re paying rapt attention.
“Some of you really need to read Gadding with Ghouls again,” he chastises your class, flipping through the pieces of parchment with a dissatisfied frown. He opens his mouth to make yet another complaint, but the words die in his throat as his widening eyes stare at one particular student’s answers.
Gilderoy Lockhart’s favorite snack is me. His favorite flavor is whatever my pussy tastes like.
Face flushed and heartbeat thrumming in his eardrums, he can barely process the last question’s response.
Gilderoy Lockhart is most proud of the way he fills me with his cum almost every night after fucking me all over his classroom and office.
Truthfully, you almost chickened out of that last one. However, you only had about a minute to make that hasty decision and you opted to just throw caution to the wind.
Good thing you did, too, because you’ve never seen him so flustered that he can’t even speak. Hell, he hasn’t moved a muscle since he saw the absolute filth you wrote on a graded quiz, one you’ll inevitably fail if he turns out to find the whole thing in poor taste.
After several minutes of unusual silence, with most of the class now expectantly waiting for the slack-jawed professor to announce the overall results of the quiz, Lockhart finally gathers himself and clears his throat.
“For homework, I want you all to redo this quiz and tell me which exact chapter you got your answers from.” When he receives only a chorus of exaggerated groans in reply, he loudly adds, “And I expect you all to reflect on why you missed such easy questions to begin with! Now, I’m going to hand back your quizzes. Come on up when I call you, then you may go. Let’s see…”
Huh. That’s unusual.
He’s never ended class this early before, and he sure as hell has never bothered to return your classwork individually.
However, it doesn’t take long for you to realize that he’s deliberately placed your quiz in the back of the pile.
One by one, your classmates hurriedly flee the classroom before Lockhart decides to assign another poem on top of the quiz redo. He waits until the last student is halfway out the door before finally calling you up.
You pretend not to look too guilty as you awkwardly amble towards the front of the classroom, where Lockhart is perched on the edge of his desk and making a show of flipping to the very last page of your quiz.
“While I’m fairly confident that I remember most of what I wrote in my number two bestseller,” he begins in a low voice, shaking his head in disbelief, “I must know where exactly in Gadding with Ghouls did you find the answers to these two?”
“The unreleased copy,” you reply immediately, having spent the last eight minutes preparing your comeback while you waited for the rest of the class to leave. “The one you’d find in the Restricted Section.”
Lockhart audibly gulps as you draw closer, reaching out for your quiz. You innocently brush against his white-knuckled fist as you try to grab the parchment, but he swiftly reaches behind him and shoves them into his desk drawer.
You raise an eyebrow and he grins. “There’s no need for you to do the assignment. Full marks as always.”
And before you can let out a sigh of relief, he grabs you and practically throws you onto his desk, sending a few of his framed photographs and several copies of Magical Me crashing to the floor.
Your panties are off in a second, and you see him shoving these into his robes for safe-keeping.
“Hey! I like those,” you complain as you make yourself comfortable on the polished surface, spreading your legs and flipping your skirt up for good measure. Lockhart practically starts drooling and, lacking any form of self-control, hungrily shoves his face between your legs to lap at your wet slit.
You gasp as his tongue slides into your tight heat, his nose pressing against your clit. When you begin to grind down on him for more friction, he growls and wordlessly begins teasing your cunt with a finger, roughly sliding his tongue over your clit. Your legs shake as he adds another finger, clearly impatient and perhaps a little irritated at your cheeky behavior. Still, you can’t deny that seeing him so serious—so unamused by your antics—has you soaked in anticipation for whatever retaliation he has in store.
Lockhart sucks your clit between kitten licks, fucking you quickly with two fingers as he does so. Your hips move on their own accord, grinding into his hand and face as you chase your release.
When you’re close, you half-expect him to pull back and rightfully deny you your orgasm. After all, you’re the one who unashamedly put him on the spot today for no real reason other than to see his reaction. To your surprise, however, Lockhart only fucks you harder, shoving his fingers as deep as they’ll go while sucking on your clit so hard that your eyes roll to the back of your head.
You cry out his name as you fall apart for him, gasping as he continues to fingerfuck you and trace circles on your clit with his hot tongue. It’s only when you pat his head, silently pleading with him to give you a break, does he detach himself from your lower half, panting heavily and looking absolutely debauched.
While you catch your breath, he shakily unbuttons his trousers and shoves them down just past his thigh, along with his briefs. You catch sight of his flushed cockhead jutting out of his golden robes and you don’t hesitate to reach out and gently stroke him before attempting to guide him towards your awaiting entrance.
Unfortunately, this position isn’t the most comfortable given how unexpectedly Lockhart threw you across his desk. Not to mention, a wooden surface cluttered with books and various pieces of parchment isn’t the most comfortable place to lay back on…
“Hold on,” you mutter as you hop off the desk. You grab the handsome wizard’s shoulders and firmly push down, gesturing for him to sit on the floor. He does so with a confused tilt of his head, which instantly snaps back in surprise when you unceremoniously sink down on his eager cock, your cunt easily accommodating his familiar length. You bottom out in one smooth motion, rolling your hips when you feel him brush your cervix. He groans as he shakily leans back against the front of his desk, eyes trained on your bouncing form as you ride him for all he’s worth.
After a few unsuccessful attempts, he finally manages to sync his thrusts perfectly with your movements so he meets you halfway though your descent. That only makes you grind on his cock harder, which in turn drives him to buck up with more force. It almost feels like a contest that neither of you want to lose—not that there are any losers in a situation like this—and all you can think of is how perfectly his cock fits in your cunt and how much you want to feel it pulse inside of you.
Lockhart seems to be thinking the exact same thing because he bares his teeth and starts fucking up into you in sharp, quick bursts. You almost topple over from the sudden change of pace but he grabs your arms to hold you steady and as he takes charge and holds you still while he continues to piston his cock in and out of your slick core.
Dazed, you can only watch as he nears his climax, his eyes glued to where his cock disappears beneath your skirt. When you reach down to lift the garment so he can see better, his eyes widen in surprise and then he looks at you almost helplessly as he spills into you with a hoarse, drawn-out cry of your name. Rolling your hips slowly to help him through his orgasm, you lean forward and press your lips against his. Lockhart kisses you back eagerly, sloppily. His tongue finds yours and you smile as he explores the inside of your mouth. He only pulls back to hold your hips still with a hiss, his oversensitive cock twitching inside of you.
“I really am most proud of this,” he mutters into your neck when he can finally trust his voice to speak. He leans forward to rest his forehead against yours as you laugh breathlessly.
You hope he never stops giving those stupid pop quizzes.

“Cherries, oranges...” You said quietly, reviewing the order you always brought to the castle. No matter how long you had been the village's fruit supplier, you still didn't get used to being treated with respect among the Lords. “I think everything is there.”
The maid accompanying you glanced at the baskets and nodded with a smile.
“The lady says that the apples you brought last week were excellent,” young Ingrid commented, making your pride fly through the air.
“Oh, that's good, I guess,” you commented amused, crossing off the tasks completed in your small notebook.
“Of course, (Y/N), I highly doubt you'd still be here if they weren't,” the maid laughed, amused. You blinked, feeling a knot in your stomach. Sometimes you forgot who you worked for.
“Yeah...” You sighed, picking up a small one with homemade jams.
“It was a joke,” the girl said, embarrassed for having reminded you that one mistake and all the blood in your body would disappear. You smiled and nodded understandingly, before the creaking of the door caught your attention.
“Oh, Lady Beneviento,” the maid said bowing politely to the black figure that entered the warehouse.
The mystery woman nodded and you had to try hard to hide a smile and the rapid beating of your heart.
“Ingrid,” you said, drawing the attention of the maid, who was still crestfallen, intimidated by the presence of the doll maker. “You should inform Alcina of her arrival, right?” You asked, raising an eyebrow, to which the young woman nodded profusely, leaving the warehouse.
You looked at the door to see that the maid had left and approached the lady in black, who also seemed a bit nervous.
“You honor me with your presence,” you whispered, biting your lip and taking a cherry from the basket, walking petulantly towards the lady, who laughed shyly under her veil. “You should try this… It is one of the best I have ever delivered.”
With the smile not leaving your face, you reached under the black veil, popping the cherry into the lady's mouth, who laughed again, reaching out to reach your hand and hold it, swaying.
After looking at both sides, checking that no one was there, you approached slowly, lifting the black veil and kissing the Lord’s lips slowly, something that made her gasp and bring her hands to your face, walking erratically until your back collided with a wall.
“Have you missed me, Donna?” You asked lovingly, contemplating her beauty, the beauty of her smile. She nodded, before attacking your lips again with a slightly rougher, more eager kiss.
“Did you think about what I proposed to you?” She asked in a low voice, lowering her hands to your waist.
You smiled even wider and pretended to roll your eyes.
“I don't know... Leaving my filthy cabin to live in a mansion with the woman of my life...” You murmured, hanging from her neck, soaking yourself in her lavender perfume.
“What do you have to think?! Say yes and let's go to the castle, I want to play with the girls,” the Angie doll said, impatiently tugging at her owner's dress.
“Angie, you always have to ruin the romance, huh?” You protested, shaking your head. The lady's pale hand diverted your gaze back to her, who was waiting for your response even more impatiently than the doll.
“So? What do you say, tesoro?” She asked again, approaching your lips.
“Mm, if you call me tesoro again, I won't think too much about it,” you joked, caressing her cheek and making her bite her lip.
“I can call you more things...” She whispered in your ear, leaning her body against yours in that cold warehouse.
“What kind of things?” You asked back, trying not to get too hot. The lady in black opened her mouth to say something that would probably send shivers down your spine, but she regretted it when footsteps began to be heard in the snow.
“Oh, it smells like a maid,” you murmured, kissing the back of her hand and turning away from her just as Ingrid entered the room again.
“Lady Dimitrescu is waiting for you, Lady Beneviento,” she said with heavy breathing. “And for you too, (Y/N).”
You both nodded and followed the young woman up the hill that led to the castle.
It seemed crazy, unlikely, but the trust the village Lords had placed in you had unforeseen consequences.
You were used to walking to the distant estate on your errands and it didn't take you too long to get used to Donna Beneviento. Strange, disturbed and... A terribly beautiful woman.
The visits became longer and longer, until finally, that curiosity you felt was relieved, you saw her face hidden and immediately afterwards, you showed that you felt something for her with a kiss. The feeling was reciprocal, obviously, something you sensed from her nervous way of speaking to you and those eternal teas that seemed to have no end.
It could be great news, that love you were waiting for, but, even if it was, and you were convinced that it was, there were still small formalities to clarify.
Donna was shy, too shy. For some reason no one but you, well, and Angie, knew about your relationship. Maybe out of fear that Mother Miranda wouldn't approve it, or maybe because Donna didn't want to tell anyone because... Well, you didn't know why exactly. You didn't care, you were okay with it and besides, you didn't want to be the center of rumors in the village, at least until you moved in with her, which was already imminent.
“Why is my sister waiting for you?” The lady in black asked with that tone that showed the jealousy she felt. You couldn't blame her. Until she met you, she was terribly lonely. It wasn't her fault that she didn't know exactly how human relationships worked.
You looked at her out of the corner of your eyes, suppressing the urge to take her hand, and pointed to the small basket you were carrying.
“Jam,” you whispered always careful for the maid to not hear you. Donna was very good at it but you... Not so much.
“You've never brought jam to me,” Donna protested, you assumed, looking at you curiously.
“When I move in with you, I'll do it every day,” you whispered, moving your hand so it brushed hers, causing another shy laugh to come out of her veil. “Which flavor is your favorite?”
“Mm, well, I...” She began to whisper, before a terrible crash interrupted her. It seemed like thunder.
“Uh, oh... It looks bad,” you said, looking at the black clouds in the sky, which had abruptly darkened it. Donna looked up and extended her hand to check if it was raining.
“I don't think it's raining,” you said, resuming your walk before, as if it were a shower, a thin curtain of water began to bathe you. “Oh, wow…”
“Let's go inside, quickly!” Ingrid screamed, now running up the hill.
You both nodded and, picking up the Angie doll from the ground, you ran towards the castle before getting completely wet.
“For Gods’ sake...” You said, helping the maid to close the doors. The rain was merciless and tireless. “Thank goodness this was my last assignment.”
Donna nodded, checking that her dress hadn't gotten too wet.
“Are you okay Don... I mean, Lady Beneviento?” You asked, correctly placing the veil of the woman in black, who discreetly nodded.
“It seems that the storm has caught you,” a deep voice said, Alcina Dimitrescu, who was waiting for you at the entrance, with a seductive smile, as always.
“Yes, my lady,” the maid said, bowing her head. The lady in white smiled and directed her gaze towards you.
“(Y/N), punctual as always,” she murmured with that sensual tone, making Donna couldn't help but cough to let out a little of her annoyance. “Donna, you have come too…”
“Yes, my lady... The jam,” you said kindly, glancing askance at the jealous lady in black and bringing the basket to Alcina.
The lady of the castle picked it up and looked inside with a satisfied smile.
“Good job, little bird,” she told you with a subtle, but terribly seductive gesture.
“Um, yeah, I...Okay, I'm leaving,” you said nervously, not wanting to prolong poor and insecure Donna's suffering any longer.
“Why are you such in a hurry?” Alcina asked mockingly. “It's raining heavily out there. I wouldn't want anything to happen to my favorite fruit supplier. Besides, Donna and I were going to have tea, weren't we?”
“Be careful about what you say, sister, (Y/N) is...” Angie hissed, pointing an accusing wooden finger at the lady in white, who raised her eyebrows.
“Angie, shut up,” Donna snapped.
“Yes, yes, shut up, you kind of talking furniture... The girls are already in the room, I'm sure you have a lot of things to talk to them about,” Alcina said, ignoring that curious threat that caused you to blush. “Anyway, will you come with me, ladies?”
The two of you walked in silence through the corridors of the castle. It wasn't the first time you stayed there drinking tea and avoiding Alcina's flirtation, but of course, Donna didn't know that.
“My lady, the tapestries you commissioned for,” a maid said, interrupting your walk, giving you an opportunity to ask Donna a question that made you tremble.
“Angie's not going to snitch, is she?” You whispered, getting closer to the lady in black, who was maintaining a stoic pose. She looked at you briefly and shook her head.
“No, you can be sure,” Donna whispered with that soft, hoarse voice that made your heart calm down.
“You're talking behind my back, huh?” Alcina interrupted, amused, making you both immediately stand at attention, comically shaking your head, serving only to make the tall lady laugh sinisterly.
That tea was strange. The sound of rain bounced against the glass while the clock on the wall emphasized your boredom. In another corner of the room, the Dimitrescu sisters' laughter with Angie bounced off the walls. You liked them, and you wouldn't have minded spending that time with them instead of sitting in silence over a cup of tea.
“Well, now I really have to go,” you said, finishing your cup in one gulp and getting up from the couch.
“Don't be stupid, (Y/N), it's still raining,” Alcina muttered, lighting a cigarette.
You looked at Donna looking for some complicity. Like every afternoon, your daily romantic dinner awaited.
“Yes, I... I'm leaving too,” the lady in black said, standing up next to you, earning you a curious and suspicious look from Alcina.
“What are you two up to?” She asked curiously, studying your trembling posture.
“Nothing,” you said in unison, sounding even more suspicious. Alcina stood up, approaching in an intimidating manner and leaning down to look at you closer, looking for something that would give you away. You knew that the lady of the castle was anything but naive.
“Then stop acting like you do and put your asses on the couch. No one leaves. The storm is getting worse and dangerous. I will tell the maids to make dinner. Tonight you will stay here.”
“But, but...” Donna murmured, nervous.
“No buts, Donna. If Mother Miranda finds out I left my youngest sister alone in such a terrible storm she will punish me by having to put up with that idiot Heisenberg at the next meeting. And as for you... (Y/N), I'm not going to put those delicious jams in danger.”
The two of you looked at each other and shrugged, sitting back down as the lady in white disappeared with an elegant step.
“I think she knows, Donna,” you murmured, eyes glued to the door.
“You think so?” She asked, getting closer, but keeping the distance, with that tone and that discreet look.
“If she doesn’t, what does that mean?” You insisted. She shrugged again.
“Well, so what if she knows?” Donna asked, with a slightly firmer tone. Of course, if Alcina suspected that there was something between you two, the shadow of Donna’s jealousy would disappear from her mind. It wasn't such a bad thing.
“You're jealous, huh?” You joked, giving your lover a nudge that startled her, making her shake the head in an exaggerated way.
“No,” she said dryly, giving herself away.
“Yes, yes, you are...” You hummed, moving closer.
“Stai zitto...” She murmured, crossing her arms, avoiding your gaze.
“You see? You've gotten nervous,”  you mocked, raising and lowering your eyebrows. She shook her head again.
“You make me nervous, (Y/N),” she protested, just before your little game was interrupted by an irritating porcelain puppet.
“Aren't we going home?” Angie asked, curiously.
“No, Angie. We'll stay here tonight,” her owner explained, still breathing hard from that conversation.
“Good!” The doll celebrated. “(Y/N), do you play poker?” She asked you, pulling at your clothes.
“Bet lei with a bunch of bloodsucking flies? What a plan...” You joked, standing up, but not before winking at your girlfriend, who shivered angrily at your teasing.
The three Dimitrescu sisters were… Curious. They may have seemed like three normal girls, but they weren't. They could terrify anyone. But fortunately, they always liked you and that gave you a certain sense of immunity.
Time passed and the coins went from one place to another on the old carpet. As if looking for a miracle, from time to time your head turned towards the window, hoping that it would stop raining. Luck did not smile on you in that regard.
“I'm bored...” Daniela Dimitrescu protested, plopping down on the sofa next to Donna, after having lost countless games.
“That's because you're a loser,” Bela, another of the sisters, murmured, studying her cards cautiously. You smiled knowingly.
“Cass, tell her something, she called me a loser again,” the girl protested, sitting upright and squeezing her fists.
“We can deny the truth, Dani. Don't you think so, (Y/N)?” The most serene of the three, Cassandra, told you. You smiled, but shook your head, placing your cards down.
“I prefer not to say anything. I like the blood running through my veins,” you joked, sighing, hoping again for a miracle so the rain would disappear. It didn’t do it.
“Let's play something different,” Daniela interrupted again.
“What?” You asked, studying the traps of your playmates. You knew that with them, it was impossible to win, but, to see how they tried to trick, amused you.
“Hide and seek?” Angie asked, excitedly, which made your body shake with terror. No, not again...
The young Dimitrescu's gaze was directed towards Donna, who was sewing calmly, without disturbing, as absent as ever. A sinister smile caught her attention as the girl approached her, wrapping her shoulders.
“Let's play to find a girlfriend for Aunt Donna,” Daniela said, without any shame. The lady in black stirred, trying to get out of her grasp without success.
“Oh, come on, Dani. Leave her alone,” Cassandra protested, shaking her head.
“It can be funny, don't you think?” The young Dimitrescu sang, looking at you in a funny way. You had to hold back your laughter.
“Yes, yes, a girlfriend... Doesn't that sound fun, (Y/N)?” Angie said in a dark voice, looking at you psychotically.
“Shut up, Angie,” you growled, trying not to let the rest to find out. The doll laughed irritatingly and ran to the lap of her owner, who was surely wishing that the earth would swallow her.
“If Aunt Donna wants to be alone, you have to respect that, Dani,” Bela said. “Don't you think, (Y/N)?”
“Of course,” you said, your voice trembling from the attack of laughter that threatened to give you away.
“But that's very boring!” Daniela shouted, shaking your girlfriend by her shoulders. “Wouldn't you like to have a girlfriend, Aunt Donna?”
“Um, I...” The lady in black stammered, crumpling the fabric she was sewing in her hands.
“Mother says that someone to warm your bed always comes in handy,” young vampire said the, making you have to cough to hide a laugh.
“Daniela!” The other two sisters screamed, annoyed by her sister's impudence.
“(Y/N), you were single, right?” The girl asked, approaching you and releasing poor Donna from her grasp.
“Me? Yes, I’m...” You whispered, starting to be uncomfortable in that situation.
“Oh... Interesting, come on,” Daniela said, pulling your wrist to get you up and dragging you to the couch and sitting next to the lady in black, who moved to get away from your body, which she didn't want to do.
“Aunt Donna, (Y/N). (Y/N), Aunt Donna,” Daniela said, pointing at you in a kind of strange introduction. “Come on, come on, shake your hands.”
With the black veil covering her face to know her expression was impossible, but the most sensible thing was to obey that curious order. You reached out your hand towards hers and shook it half-heartedly, noticing how poor Donna was already starting to sweat.
“Well, you know each other,” Daniela said, satisfied, nodding and sitting in an armchair in front of you.
“We already knew each other, Daniela,” you said amused, leaning back on the couch with a curious look.
“Did you? Well, This is even better,” she responded, putting her legs up on the couch and sitting down childishly.
“Daniela…. Leave them alone…” Bela protested. “Mother is going to be angry…”
“Shut up, you boring thing!” Her sister screeched in response. “Aunt Donna, did you know that (Y/N) makes some delicious jams?”
Donna looked at you and then nodded.
“I had heard something about it,” the doll maker whispered, with an almost imperceptible voice. The vampire smiled pleased at the answer and put on a thoughtful look.
“(Y/N), did you know that Donna cooks very well?” She asked you, making an indiscreet smile appear on your face, nodding slowly.
“I had heard something about it,” you whispered, imitating your lover's response, something that surely made her laugh behind that horrible veil.
“Well, it's clear isn't it? You know, jam, cooking... The two things together could be interesting,” Daniela commented, as if she really didn't know what she meant. She wasn't the best matchmaker, of course, but you had to admit this kind of game was pretty interesting.
“I guess so,” you said amused, glancing at the lady in black, who seemed more relaxed.
“Yes, yes, that's the spirit!” Daniela said satisfied, joining her hands.
“Daniela, you're going to...” Cassandra murmured.
The young woman ignored her sister's protests and continued looking at you curiously, looking for a way to get you to agree on something. In reality you did, you both loved each other madly.
Daniela got up from the armchair, pacing from side to side. The Angie doll had serious problems holding back her laughter, just like you. The young woman approached you, perching on the couch and holding your chin so you could look at the woman in black.
“Look, Donna. (Y/N) is a pretty girl, right?” She asked with a childish voice, seductive at the same time.
The lady in black stared at you for a moment, you assumed with that tender look, that look that made you fall completely in love with her.
“She is,” Donna whispered in a scandalously low volume, but perceptible to Daniela, who smiled widely, letting you free from her too-strong grip.
“Well, I... I have never seen Aunt Donna’s face. I don't know what she looks like, but Mother told me that...” The young Dimitrescu murmured confused by having to explain the beauty of Donna that you weren’t supposed to know.
“That's enough,” Bela said, getting up from the floor and dragging her sister away from the couch under your watchful gaze. “Dani, you already know that Aunt Donna is very sensitive, mother says that she can suffer a crisis if we are not careful with what we say.”
“It doesn't matter. It's okay,” Donna herself interrupted, to the astonishment and triumph of the two sisters.
You were also surprised by that reaction. You didn't think it was possible, but she seemed to be enjoying this curious conversation.
“I'm sure she's a beautiful woman... The most beautiful woman in the world...” You whispered tenderly, leaning towards Donna, who laughed shyly.
You couldn't see it, but you were sure that behind that black fabric, there were rosy cheeks.
“You see? You see? It's working,” Daniela said, with a tone of victory, curing her tongue mockingly at her sister, who rolled her eyes, lying down again on the floor next to Cassandra.
“The only thing that will work is mother's punishment when she finds out that you are playing with your aunt and the fruit girl,” Cassandra murmured, laughing amused.
Daniela protested by stamping her feet on the floor, but she immediately relaxed, turning towards you again.
“Don't call her fruit girl,” she protested, “She'll be your aunt too.”
You covered your mouth to hide your laughter and took advantage of that small moment of distraction to caress Donna's hand discreetly, which made her shiver and return the caress slowly, running a finger along the back of your hand.
“Yes, yes, whatever you say...” Cassandra whispered, listlessly.
“Oh, look Dani, look!” Angie shouted, pointing to your clasped hands, causing you to separate instantly. “How cute!”
“Damn devilish doll,” you hissed, embarrassed, even more when the young Dimitrescu's face lit up.
“Keep going, keep going, you were doing very well,” she commented happily, joining your hands again. “Wow, I must have an innate talent…”
“Yes, for the problems,” Bela murmured, shaking her head.
“They were caressing their hands!” Daniela shouted, hitting her sister on the head, who looked at her furiously.
“Angie, shut up now,” you growled at the puppet, who sat between you, swinging her legs. The doll just tilted her head, thus saying that she didn't plan to do it.
“They like each other, I'm sure,” Daniela protested, engaged in a ridiculous fight with her sister. “You’re envious.”
“Envious? Come down from the clouds, little sister,” Bela said, fighting with her sister in a comical way.
“What a mess we made, huh, darling?” You whispered to your girlfriend, who nodded in amusement while your hand rested on her cheek, underneath the black fabric.
“Stop that now!” Cassandra shouted, trying to separate the vampires.
“Fight, fight, fight!” Angie encouraged, paying more attention to the fight, and not to your discreet caresses.
“Girls!” A deep voice interrupted that chaos, Alcina. “What the hell are you doing?”
“Nothing, mother,” they said agitatedly, standing at attention in front of her mother, but not before elbowing each other several times.
“Well... Ladies, dinner is served,” Alcina said elegantly, gesturing for you to get up.
Again, and followed by the three sisters and a couple of maids, you walked through the corridors, heading towards the dining room.
“(Y/N)?” A familiar voice asked, putting a hand on your shoulder. A maid, an old friend of yours surprised you, just when you were going to whisper something to your girlfriend.
“Mihaela, nice to see you,” you said with a smile, causing the lady in black to stop, turning around curiously.
“Yes, well, I've been in the castle for quite some time now and...” She began to explain, grabbing your arms affectionately, before a black cloud pounced on you.
“No, stay back!” Daniela screeched, as she materialized and pushed the maid out of your reach, sticking her tongue out at her. “Out, out, out,” she repeated, making the maid turn away, bow her head, and run away.
“Hey, she was my friend,” you protested, letting yourself be guided back to Donna, who was waiting patiently for you.
“No friends, (Y/N),” the young Dimitrescu said, taking your arm and wrapping it in that of the woman in black, who sighed... Satisfied?
“How good it has been for you,” You joked, without letting her arm go, walking in front of Daniela, who was watching you tirelessly.
“Who was that cagna?” She asked hatefully, whispering with a clenched fist. Jealousy again.
“A friend, Donna. She was my best friend for a while,” you explained, trying to make your words only audible to her. “Nothing you need to worry about.”
“Well, ladies, take a seat,” Alcina said, spreading her arms on the dining room table.
“Here, here (Y/N)!”Daniela screamed, gesturing for you to go over there, right to the chair next to Donna’s, how predictable.
With a comically chivalrous gesture, the young Dimitrescu sat you in the chair, under the furious and attentive gaze of her sisters.
The dinner was silent, despite Daniela's continuous glances, as she sat mysteriously in front of you, studying each of your gestures.
“Lady Dimitrescu, would you be so kind as to bring me the wine?” You asked kindly. As the lady nodded and grabbed the bottle, the rebellious hand of her daughter interrupted her.
“Wait, mother,” Daniela said, offering the wine to Donna. “Come on, Aunt Donna, (Y/N) wants more wine.”
Alcina looked at her with a frown as the lady in black, with trembling hands, poured some wine into your glass.
“Thank you, doll face...” You whispered, making the bottle almost slip through her sweaty hands.
“What are you playing now, Daniela?” The lady of the castle asked, oblivious to the hand that slid under the table, your hand in Donna's, calming her nerves with soft caresses.
“Aunt Donna and (Y/N) like each other, mother. I think that thanks to me they can be…” the young vampire explained, which caused a laugh from her sister Cassandra.
“Oh, is it true?” The lady asked in a dark voice, as if somehow your suspicions were true and she had known about you for a long time, which was quite likely.
“It's Daniela, mother, she's been bothering Aunt Donna and (Y/N) all the time,” Bela complained, with a look of superiority.
“I haven't bothered them, I'm sure they'll fall in love,” Daniela said, getting up from the table. Alcina continued watching you in a funny way.
“What stupid things my girls say, right, ladies?” Alcina asked in a soft voice, with that sinister smile.
“Yes, yes...” Donna murmured, not letting your hand go under the table.
Finally, and after an uncomfortable and funny dinner at the same time, it was time to sleep. The storm had not let up all the time, the idea of spending a night, perhaps a special one with Donna had long since disappeared from your head.
“There, (Y/N), you will stay in that bedroom. Surely inside you will find something to wear,” the lady of the castle told you, opening the door of an old room.
“Thank you, my lady,” you said kindly, wanting to get into bed and forget that day, well, think about that day.
“Donna, you'll stay in this one, okay?” The lady in white murmured, opening the door in front of yours.
Your girlfriend nodded slowly.
“Do me a favor, ladies...” Alcina murmured, walking slowly, turning to look at you over her shoulder. “Don't make too much noise, I'm a light sleeper.”
“What?” You asked when the lady turned the corner.
“She knows, now I'm sure,” Donna said, nervously playing with her hands.
“Well, it doesn't matter,” you said, gently grabbing them, playing with them, getting closer to her.
“What a day, huh?” You joked, passing your hand under her veil, caressing her hot cheek from due to the blush. She nodded, linking her hand to yours.
“Maybe we should tell everyone,” she commented.
“Yes, maybe, before Daniela undresses us and puts us in a bed,” you joked, making Donna step back, overwhelmed by that insinuation.
“Well, I hope that doesn't happen,” she stammered, revealing her nervousness about the step you had not yet taken in your relationship.
“Do you? Well, I partly wish so...” You whispered seductively, lifting her veil and kissing her tenderly on the lips. “Anyway, good night, Donna.”
“Good night.”
You got into bed going over the events of the day. The lightning illuminated the room and the rain from the glass accentuated how sinister it was to be in that castle. You smiled, amused by Daniela's attitude towards you. According to Donna, she had been doing that kind of things for a while.
A noise at the door, a few silent knocks, caught your attention, causing your heart to beat quickly, scared.
“(Y/N), open the door, it's me,” the unmistakable accent and the softness of Donna's voice sent a flow of relief to your body, making you discreetly open it so the lady in black could pass by, already with her hair down and a kind of sleeping dress.
“What are you doing here at this hour, miss?” You asked amused, hanging on to her neck and attacking her mercilessly with your kisses. She laughed gasping for your tireless kisses, for all those kisses you would have given her if it weren't for that stupid storm.
“I wanted to see you,” Donna explained, pulling you onto the bed and getting into it.
“See me? What's wrong, are you cold?” You asked jokingly, joining her under her covers.
“My life is very cold without you,” she whispered affectionately, being the one who kissed you at that moment, enjoying the warmth of your bodies under the sheets.
“Mmm,” you purred, moved by her almost sickly romanticism. “Say it again, but in Italian...” she asked playfully. Donna laughed and leaned closer to your ear.
“La mia vita è molto fredda senza di te,” she whispered in your ear, making you suppress a moan at those seductive words.
“Do it again,” you asked amused, kissing her neck and causing her shyness to come to light with small laughs that you imagined weren't so scandalous.
“La mia...” She couldn't finish the sentence as your kisses attacked her again, turning that old room in the castle into a hot and lustful, anxious and hungry environment.
“Wait, (Y/N),” she said, catching her breath when your playful hands lifted her dress, letting it fall next to yours. “Our first time can't be... Here.”
“Why not?” You asked, running your hands along her bare back, also getting rid of her bra. Donna didn't seem to mind.
“It would have to be special,” she said, playing with yours, sending it flying, unable to suppress her desire.
“A huge castle under the light of lightning is not special enough?” You asked, running your hands over her chest, continuing to caress her. Her smile was all you needed to continue.
After a few gasps, rolling around fighting for supremacy in that small bed, something made you stop.
“What's happening?” Donna asked, looking around her, nervous.
“I think, I think I’ve heard...” You whispered, getting off your lover and turning on the small light on your table.
“Gotcha!” Daniela Dimitrescu rushed to the bed with a cloud of flies, making you both cover yourself, especially Donna.
“What the hell...?” You asked, pulling the sheets to cover your nakedness while Daniela looked for clues throughout the room, grabbing a black bra from the floor, one that wasn't yours.
“What does this mean, (Y/N)?” Daniela said, with an accusatory tone, throwing the garment in your face with contempt.
“Wait, let me...”
“No! I spent the afternoon making you and my aunt fall in love! And what do you do? To get into bed with a whore maid,” She said furiously, clenching her fists on both sides of her waist.
“I think you're wrong,” you said with relative calm, inevitably smiling.
“I'm thinking of telling Donna. You're going to make her cry and you'll pay for that,” Daniela said before leaving the room, making your girlfriend leave her hiding place and peek out of the sheets, sitting next to you.
“Daniela, wait,” she said with a broken, but confident voice.
“Don't dare to give orders to me, you bitch! You're going to...” The vampire squealed, stamping her feet on the ground until she got a good look at your companion. “Aunt Donna… Is that you?”
She nodded, searching for her black veil, forgetting that she hadn't brought it.
“Wow... You are more beautiful than mother had told us,” Daniela whispered, approaching and sitting on the bed, embarrassingly close to your naked bodies.
“There is no maid,” you said, covering your girlfriend better, who was trembling because of her nerves.
Daniela’s shocked face changed to one of happiness, hugging you both awkwardly.
“I knew! I knew it would work!” She screamed, squeezing you tightly. “You'll see when I tell my sisters, they're going to be tired of apologizing,” she said triumphantly, separating to your relief and walking towards the door. “I’m the best. Knock knock, who is it? The best couple creator in history, the infallible, the only, the inimitable Daniela...”
Her words were lost as she walked out of the room, still flattering herself.
“Um... Maybe we should tell her that...” You said amused, scratching the back of your neck.
“She seems happy,” Donna said, resting her head on your shoulder, forgetting about that embarrassing moment.
“You're right. Let's let her enjoy her victory. Besides, tomorrow is a hard day. You'll have to help me with the move, my dear Donna...”

Breathe.
Just breathe for now. Breath until it's time to turn the corner. Breath until you can't even hold it anymore. Breathe.
Almost there, he'd just have to hold it in his lungs for a moment, nothing more. And even then, what was a whiff or two? Nothing he couldn't handle. He was just popping in for a quick visit.
He wrapped around the building slowly, taking his time with deep, precious breathes and savoring the cool air. Spring was always so pleasant even if the lingering scent of florals and pollen stung his lungs like acid. The moment he caught a whiff of the sweet perfume, he swallowed, clutching his breathe in his throat like air under water. He was good at hiding his weaknesses. He'd had plenty of practice.
When his mauve eyes finally met hers, he rose to life.
It was like something clicked in his brain every time he saw her, as if just being near her got his gears turning. Being with her was like chewing taffy. It was kind of hard to eat and always stuck to your teeth, super annoying, but somehow you always grabbed for that second piece, deeming the rich, savory flavor worth all the trouble. She smiled when she saw him.
"Well hey you," she leered, a single brow raised as she fluffed up the daisies that laid on the front table at the entrance of her shop. "You finally gonna buy something or are you just here to nag? I'm gonna start charging you by the minute y'know." The sly sparkle in her eye made his gut twist, sweat beginning to collect in his already clammy palms. He shoved them into his pocket before she could see.
"Nah, just here to see if this place is still fuckin' dead like it always is. No surprises there."
She scoffed, turning her head away in distaste, her hair wagging to the side so gently he wanted to fucking touch it, to run his hands through it and mess it all up. He didn't care if it smelled like flowers either. He'd enjoy either way.
"You're such an asshole! Maybe if you'd stop scaring away all my customers, I'd get more business," she hissed at him. He laughed at the insult, forcing himself to move along with it, despite the thoughts that ate at him slowly.
She thinks you're ugly
He shook his head of the stupid assumption, instead lingering to stare at today's attire. She wore purple today, a soft shade of lavender that went quite nicely with the hair piece she dawned. The homemade fabric clung tightly to her figure, the grains tastefully swirling around her body in the uniform pattern. The sleeves of this yukata seemed to be floral themed as well as the ends tattered along into delicate petal shapes. He liked this one more than her others. It was -
"Flashy."
She turned to him with a confused look, eye twitching. "What did you just say?"
"You look flashy," he repeated curtly, casting his eyes away. Compliments were hard to make, so she should appreciate that he put in the effort honestly.
"Flashy?"
"Yeah."
"So I look too flashy to you?" she inquired, crossing her arms and cocking her hip with a glare. This wasn't going how he thought it would. Shouldn't she be thanking him or something?
"Uh no," he shrugged, "just the right amount."
She turned away from him, bundles of flowers in her arms that were wilted and grey, ready to be thrown out, comically mirroring her patience. He could see the clench to her jaw and strain to her temple.
"You're so... - so clueless!" She stomped off angrily into the shop.
Sanemi was taken aback by her vexed response, hesitantly going in after her. He hadn't even noticed how scratchy his throat and nose had gotten with his distraction. How was she angry? He'd heard Tengen give his wives that line over a million times, and they practically dropped their panties on the spot. Did he say it wrong or something?
"What did I do?" he called after her.
"Let me guess, you're gonna say I smell weird again too?" she remarked, recalling the instance he'd first met her all that time ago when he'd said the damning words, so unused to the smell of roses as he'd avoided them without a second thought. But he hadn't had a reason risk the exposure then.
He felt bad, truly. He didn't want her to think he was insulting her. He didn't want the relationship his parents had, his father constantly demeaning his mother to keep her confidence low enough that she always saw him as better than. Sanemi wanted to make her feel good about herself! She deserved praise from time to time.
"It was a compliment!"
"In what world?" she asked dramatically. He could see how her posture was cringed now, as if to hide herself from him. But the stance was short-lived as she turned back around, finished with dumping her spoiled product.
"You're lucky I don't care what you think," she announced, fixing her hair, "Because I know I look good."
He pinched the bridge of nose and sighed. No, she was lucky she was fun to be around sometimes, or he wouldn't even give her the time of day.
He intended to continue their bickering until he'd felt his throat close, the spacing narrow and whistling with every breathe. He shut his mouth quickly, turning the way he came and walking away, trying to seem as unbothered as possible. (Y/n) noticed his fleeing when he was already halfway around the corner.
"Sanemi? Sanemi, where are you going?!" She continued to call after him, but he went on, his face shifting to red.
He inserted the syringe into himself containing his "medicine" when he reached the safety of the foliage, calming himself and controlling his breathing until his felt his lungs open up again.
Shinazugawa held his own in a normal natural environment, and when his allergies did manage to act up on occasion, he'd always had some light treatments on hand. But being surrounded by pure allergens was something he couldn't handle in excess, his tolerance getting worse and worse with each visit.
When he'd first met her, his endurance was acceptable. He'd managed to survive when the crazy woman had dragged him into her shop for the first time on his routine town visit, pressuring him to buy something. And when he'd denied her, throwing his little insult of her smell, he assumed that would be his cause of death rather than his allergy. From then on, every time he'd pass by, she always berated him, hurling offense after offense at him. He hadn't responded the first few times, but eventually it got to him. The short arguments grew into long visits of banter. He was retired, so it wasn't like he had anywhere to be anyway. And her company was nice sometimes. She wasn't always annoying. She occasionally gave a warm side comment about his glowing complexion that day or lended an ear when he wanted to rant about how stupid his "friends" were. While she always gave him shit about his "animal-based diet" and a lecture about becoming vegetarian, he'd also admired her passion about those things, how fired up she'd get when she'd see someone eating a piece of meat with no remorse. It was... kinda cute.
And he had become addicted far before he'd realized it, his day ruined whenever he hadn't seen her in a while or saw something that reminded him of her. And he knew his feelings had to be true when he went to fucking Uzui for help. His assistance was as useless as it was embarrassing, essentially telling him to dick her down as soon as possible. His wives had given him some genuine advice on his way out, but damn was that guy a pain to deal with.
But even with his recognition of his own heart, it wasn't like his weakness took the hint. He could hardly handle ten minutes being around her now, his lungs becoming so swelled that it nearly killed him each time. He wanted to live to see his life with her, if it were possible. And he decided to finally do something about it.
"I suppose there is something I can do," voiced Kanao, the girl sorting through her collection of herbs and remedies. Thankfully the Butterfly Estate had been fairly calm today, allowing him the audience he needed.
"While you may still have the occasional reaction, I have a thirty-day schedule of injections that get your immune system used to the allergen while simultaneously reinforcing it," she explained gently. She reminded him of the Kochos a lot these days. "But there are some drawbacks. The beginning may be a bit much to bear through, but over time the effects should calm. You must take it every morning at relatively the same time, and please give your body time to recuperate. You need stay away from any histamines for at least a week, as well. This includes any dander, molds, or pollen."
He gulped anxiously.
"That's just advice thought, right?"
She blinked confused, looking him in the eye.
"No."
On the walk home, he readied his excuses for when he saw the florist next. She'd no doubt grill him for answers when he'd have to ghost her for the next few days. He was busy? No, no she wouldn't accept that. She'd believe it, but she'd be angry at him for not giving her any attention for so long. He was sick? Maybe, but she would definitely look down on him for being so weak as to need recuperation time. But it wouldn't even matter how mad she'd be at him for his absence. He'd finally be able to prolong his time with her. Take her out on dates. Cuddle together. Do... other stuff together. It would take time to build up the relationship, but he had no doubt that she returned his feelings. He saw the way she looked at him, the way she'd purse her lips and flush when her eyes fell to his fit chest, the way she'd bat her lashes at him when she'd catch him studying her as well. She'd even told him that she only liked big, stupid guys. He definitely wasn't stupid, but he got the idea.
It would only be a matter of time now before it was all possible. Almost there.
-
She brewed over his disappearance, questioning why Shinazugawa had been gone all of five days now. Surely, she hadn't hurt his feelings that much the last time she'd seen him. But maybe it was a possibility as her mother had always complained of how rude she was. But Sanemi was used to it by now, right? Okay, perhaps she was a bit mean, but he was just so stupid sometimes! Flashy? That was considered a compliment to him? It was his fault for not knowing better.
But, none-the-less, she pouted, joylessly selling to a few customers before deciding to close up shop early today. She should go give him a visit. Just to make sure he's alive, of course. Not because she missed him or anything...
-
This was torture. He remembered that Kanao had said it was gonna get bad but not this bad. Even he was struggling, and he'd been tortured by demons for fuck's sake. He hacked all day, his skin rashed up, he had to take several trips to the bath to steam his swollen throat open enough so he could breathe. It made sense why he couldn't get more exposure to aggitants. It probably would've killed him.
But he kept going, reminding himself of why this was all worth it. How amazing it would be to sniff her hair and kiss her lips. How soft she would feel in his hands and against his calloused, rough flesh. He wanted to know how her neck tasted, how her perfume smelled when it wasn't suffocating him. He'd spend all of eternity just studying her and everything that made her so... so... vexing.
A knock at his door tore him from his fantasies. Who the hell could that be? He left the bathroom, staggering toward the door and fixing his falling robe simultaneously. Was it Kanao? But she was always so busy, why the hell would she come out here?
Sanemi weakly opened the door, eyes going wide.
"Surprise!"
He stumbled back, throwing a hand over his nose and mouth. Just the slight breeze that came, wafting her scent to him was enough to make him choke. Oh, fuck that hurt.
"I thought you were dead or something, so I came to check on you! I know, I'm so nice," (Y/n) purred, obviously pleased with herself. "I brought flowers just in case you'd need a quick burial - Lilies! Always gotta be prepared, y'know?" She shoved them toward him carelessly, distracted with his horrid appearance.
"What the hell happened to you?" she questioned, her eyes scrunching in disgust. He looked like he actually had died.
"G-get out..." he croaked, feebly pushing her away. His vision began to get blurry with his poorly received oxygen.
"You need help 'Nems. Let me-"
"No!" he shouted abruptly, the woman flinching back in shock. She'd never actually heard him... yell at her before.
"G-get the f-fuck outta here!" He pushed at her again, causing her to trip back and fall onto the graveled path. Tears stung her eyes as her bottom bruised. He turned back to the door, tossing the bundle of lilies away onto the dirt and slugging back into the house, coughing violently as he went.
Another wave of daze passed through her body as he slammed the door closed, the loud sound sending a jolt up her spine. Her mouth still hung open.
It seemed like years before she slowly rose up, body still trembling. Her walk home was silent. But not literal silence, the journey would've been silent regardless since it would've been only herself as company - this was mindless, empty, meaningless, lifeless silence. Not a single thought managed to pass through her skull, her movements relying solely on muscle-memory. Her mouth still hung open.
Only when she had reached her own doorstep did the waterworks start. Tears never stopped flowing as she sadly waddled to her bed and fell to it, harshly sobbing into her pillow.
He had never yelled at her like that before. Ever. Not even when she'd thrown dirt down the back of his shirt or doused him with pot water. By the time she'd woken up from crying herself to sleep, her eyes were puffy and red, her mouth dry and bitter. She'd barely managed to carry herself into work, her face downcast and miserable, very few customers coming to visit. But she couldn't care less.
His symptoms thankfully calmed down in the following days, his lungs opening up and skin clearing. He forced himself to relax through it, stopping his brain from replaying what had happened until he would be able to properly cringe at his own actions. And when he had gotten better and able-bodied, God was it awful. Was he harsh with her? Yes. Was it necessary? ...Yes? How else would he have gotten her to go away? Had he been any more gentle, she would've fought her way into the house, and he would've keeled over dead. Being an asshole was manditory sometimes.
But, he knew every dirty dead should be met with a good one when it came to women, so here he was, on his was to say he was sorry or whatever. It'd been a week like Kanao had said, so he could tolerate being around her for a second.
"Your boyfriend is coming," squealed the old woman from the shop next to hers, the lady's lips curled like a cat's.
"Huh?" (Y/n) snapped from her expressionless state of plucking the petals off sunflowers.
"That tall man with the scars you're always hanging around - I saw him in town buying candies when I'd gotten my groceries. I think he's coming this way!"
Oh fuck!
She bolted into her shop, finding a mirror to do some quick makeup and fix her hair. Thank goodness she'd made herself dress nice today. She wasn't about to dump him looking like a slob.
The girl came out just in time to catch a glimpse of him turning the corner, her appearance put together and pretty.
"Hey," she heard next to her. Her eyes flickering to him slowly then turning back. She resumed weaving together bouquets at her bench.
Sanemi scoffed at her obvious silent treatment. It didn't help that she looked so fucking hot today, her dress a dark shade of green with red accents that matched her lipstick. Fuck, here he was getting turned on when he needed to apologize.
"Uh, sorry about the other day. I was, uhm.... sick." He held the box of sweets out to her, a cute pink bow tied at the top. When she didn't take it, he set it down on the table adjacent to her.
(Y/n) pressed her wobbling lips together, still refusing to look at him before getting up and going to the table. She swiftly pushed it into the store and pulled closed the doors, locking them and gathering her things. She couldn't do this. Tears were already threatening her waterline before he'd even started talking. She couldn't tell him off with her mascara was running. How pathetic would that have been?
He followed after her, muddled by her strange behavior, or lack thereof. "Where are you going?" the man demanded.
It was easy to think of something hurtful to respond.
"I have a date." She walked slowly, giving him ample time to catch up.
His teeth nearly broke with tension. He was next to her instantaneously, far closer than she wanted him to be. She turned away so he wouldn't witness her glazed eyes.
"A date?"
"Yep."
"A fuckin' date?"
She didn't answer any further, only continuing to stroll about and praying that he wouldn't follow her all the way. Of course, she wasn't going on any date. But he didn't need to know that. And she didn't want him finding out either.
And her wish came true, Sanemi pausing in his step as she trailed on. She heard what he'd mumbled under his breath as he turned back the way he came.
"Fuck this."
(Y/n) wished she'd felt better after that, but her depression only grew. Going to work every morning felt hopeless now that she knew there was no chance Sanemi would come to visit. As much as she hated to admit it, she missed their bickering and arguments, missed how his nose would scrunch up when he was agitated, missed how he'd lean up against her booth to get closer to her. She missed how he'd smell when he'd stop by after his workout, and how his skin would glisten with sweat during a hot day. But most of all, she missed seeing him smile, that stupid little smirk he'd give her when she'd say something especially mean before he'd give that attitude right back at her.
She should've just accepted his stupid apology, even though her feelings were still hurt by his blatant disrespect of her. Even if he had been sick, she would've helped him in a heartbeat. It would've been like the romance novels she'd read of nurses falling in love with their patient during treatments. She wasn't a very good cook, but she could've whipped him up something good to eat. She could've helped him so much, but he didn't let her. As if he didn't trust her. As if she wasn't important enough.
But maybe it was for the best that things worked out this way. Maybe things weren't meant to go well for them. If they couldn't handle a small little thing like this, how would they have made it through worse?
"I think he'd like these."
(Y/n) jerked up from her spell, aiming to find the owner of that soft, feminine voice.
"Those are nice! Oh - how about these ones too!"
She found two young visitors, a serene dark-haired girl with rosy eyes and a tender-looking boy with red hair. They seemed to be a couple, implied by their embraced hands.
As negative as her mood was, the woman still needed money and, therefore, customers. She slouched over to them.
"Shopping for a special occasion?" she asked with about as much gusto as she could muster, which was little. The boy smiled brightly regardless of her lack of vigor.
"Just looking for something nice for a friend! He actually lives around here, maybe you know him?" He chirped. The girl next to him scoffed quietly.
"I wouldn't bet on that."
(Y/n) furrowed at her. "You sure? If he lives around here, I've probably seen him around."
The boy turned to his female companion, giving her an encouraged look. His innocence was honestly tear-jerking. "Yeah, maybe's she's seen him around." He turned back to the woman. "He's kinda tall and really... scary looking."
She chuckled, nearly thinking he was talking about Sanemi. But there was no possibility in her head that him and this genuine, pure-hearted young boy had ever crossed paths. "With white hair?" she joked, shaking her head.
"Yeah! You've met him?"
She broke from her giggling, gawking at him with wide eyes.
"S-Sanemi?"
"So, you have met him!"
She quickly crossed over her arms, tucking her head to the side with a boiling anger. "Unfortunately," she quipped, not really in the mood to discuss it further. The last thing she needed was a damn conversation about him.
"Really?" the girl inquired, a brow raised, "that's surprising - given his allergy."
She laughed. "Allergy? What could he possibly be allergic to? Joy? Laughter? Happiness?" She wouldn't be surprised by any of it quite honestly.
The brunette blinked at her, waving her hand about the room.
"Oh, you know. Dander, molds, pollens," she listed. "Flowers."
Her mouth went dry. No. No, that couldn't be right. She wouldn't known if he was.
"F-flowers?" she repeated, hoping for some kind of misunderstanding.
"Yes. I hope he hasn't been around here for some while though. I gave him very crucial instructions to not go near any allergens for a bit."
...What...
"Wha- I don't-" she was at a loss for words. "That's... impossible! Why didn't he tell me?!"
The boy stepped toward her. "Well, you seem to know him well. He gets kinda embarrassed about that stuff," he said, obviously aiming to comfort her in her distress.
No wonder his visits were always so short and spontaneous. Oh god, she'd even shoved some of these in his face sometimes so he could get a whiff. Her mind reeled with all those times he'd turn to cough or sneeze. All those times he'd grow red in the face and excuse himself. All those times he'd go still, as if he were holding his breathe. But she'd always thought he had anger issues or something and was using coping mechanisms. Not that he was literally dying!
The two strangers looked at each other in confusion as she had her meltdown, waves of guilt and regret setting upon her. She hadn't even noticed until they were at the counter to check out that they were intending to leave. She'd helped them, of course, afterwards stopping them as they met the trail, changed into her emergency clothing she'd kept in the shop for when she'd come unprepared. And another... hidden.... gift for later on, if things went smoothly.
They made very decent conversation as she accompanied them on their journey, telling tales of their own adventures in their former dangerous work. The stories truly scared her, as she'd had the luxury of never running into that sort of threat in her life. But the stories were also just as devastating. She'd realized then just how little she'd actually known about Sanemi. She hadn't known he was a demon hunter. She hadn't known he'd put his life at such risk. She hadn't even know about his family, nor his brother Genya he'd lost at the end. More guilt began to eat at her. How could she have been so self-absorbed as to never question his past? She could blame his own severe privacy, but she knew it was her own fault as well. Perhaps her actions really were disrespectful. With all he'd gone through, the least she could've done was be nice to him for once. She... should apologize.
When he opened his door, the shock on his face was evident, but it quickly dissolved into bitterness.
"What're you doing here?" he hissed.
Her wavering smile thinned. Oh god this was going to suck.
Dinner was just as tense, the man certainly not appreciating the humorous gift he'd received by the young couple. The bouquet had met the trash bin before they'd even sat down. It only seemed to worsen after they'd begun to eat. Deafening silence and slow chewing filled the room, every attempt at small talk (mostly contributed by the boy she learned was named Tanjiro) was promptly met with a sharp, silencing glare by Shinazugawa. But (Y/n) did appreciate the boy's efforts, as it would momentarily remove his eyes from their lock onto her. Even when she wasn't looking, she could feel the weight of his scowl, the negativity that radiated off of him in nauseating waves. It was honestly not surprising that he was so livid. He'd gone though all trouble to cure himself just to be left high and dry. It was going to take a bit of work to talk her way out of this one...
"Uhm, it was nice to see you again, Sanemi... Good luck with your, uh, illness?"
Kanao pinched his side, and he yelped.
"Yes, it's been fun," she added. "Well, I think it's best we get going. I'm sure you two would like some time to talk." She practically dragged him out of the door, Kamado muttering a few more encouraging goodbyes before cutting out as she slid the door shut behind them, finally leaving the estate.
(Y/n) kept herself composed through it, giving a fake smile and waving as they scurried. She was desperate to finally get a chance to actually talk, albeit being a tad bit nervous with his mood. But he was always a smidge angry, so she already expected some level of pettiness.
What she hadn't expected was for him to ignore her entirely. As she turned around in the absence of Tanjiro and Kanao, she was met with utter abandonment, Shinazugawa swiftly cleaning up the table. She crossed her arms, tapping her foot and waiting oh-so-patiently for this little bit to be over with. Yes, she remembered when she did the same to him when he had tried to apologize to her all that time ago.
"Giving me a taste of my own medicine, huh?" she finally pestered, getting annoyed with his blindness. He gave nothing but a huff, continuing to gather plates and eventually heading into the kitchen. The woman followed after him, an urgency to her step.
"Sanemi, don't you dare try to worm your way out of this one!" She found him setting the dishes into a bin, clearly more interested in washing them than talking to her.
"Why didn't you tell me about your allergies? Or anything else for that matter?! I didn't know about your job or family - I didn't even know you'd ever had either!"
His dish-scrubbing got faster, harder, likely scratching up the delicate ceramic. But his mouth remained sewn shut in a thin line just waiting to crack.
She calmed, her shoulders falling a bit.
"Was I not important enough to tell?"
And he finally snapped.
"What the fuck do you care?!" He violently threw down the dish he was holding into the tub, the material shattering. (Y/n) jumped slightly, not anticipating him to behave so wildly. It gave her a flash of their previous scuffle when he'd hurt her so deeply. His reply only saddened her.
"I'm sorry," she sighed in a cracked voice, eyes glazing over. "I-I'm sorry I wasted your time, I'll leave."
The sniffles and weak patter of her feet as she away tore at his heart strings.
Of course, he was still mad at her, but he didn't her to fucking cry about it. He didn't really... like hearing her cry - no, scratch that, he fucking hated it. Hell, he'd known his distaste for it the day she was whining to him that some jerk had yelled at her for bumping into him and making him to drop all his food, her eyes all wet and red with fat tears. He'd, of course, found the worthless asshole and torn him a new one, but he never quite gotten over how horrid her sadness had made him feel, the pit in his stomach. She'd told him multiple times that she didn't like getting screamed at. He recalled finding it cute at the time, how such an angry, foul-mouthed women could dish but not receive, lest she fall apart. And the realization only begged the question - how had she reacted to him lashing out at her all that time ago? He didn't even want to think about it.
"Wait," he finally spoke, halting her pitiful waddling. He came out to the front room to find her, her body still facing the door and shoulders shaking despite her silence. He had to physically stop himself from comforting her physically. Finally, she looked back at him, eyes teary and wet, her eye makeup smudged.
His hands dragged down his face, a heavy sigh falling upon his lips with long frustration. "Listen... I didn't say anything 'cuz..." He droned off a bit, stubborn in his admission. "Cuz it was... it was just stupid."
"It's not stupid!" She voiced, wiping her eyes and turning to him. "But it's my fault too. I should've asked instead of nagging all the time, huh?" She chuckled softly. It eased him to hear her laugh, but he could still see new tears falling down her cheeks.
"No, no, I guess I should have said something. But that shit's not important to me, I'm not a fucking baby."
"Talking about your feelings doesn't make you a baby. I want you to be sensitive with me!"
He scoffed at her, jerking his head away. No way she liked when he got all soft. She was just saying that to spare his feelings, he thought. She frowned at him.
"Why'd you keep coming to visit when you knew you were allergic."
His face flushed a little, his neck getting hot. "Just... wanted to see you, I guess..." he mumbled with a shrug of his shoulders.
She felt her heart melt and cooed, "Oh my gosh-"
"Ugh, shut up," he groaned, still burning with embarrassment. She practically purred with her curled smile, skating over to him with open arms and wrapping them around him for a tight hug. He cringed back uncomfortably at first but eventually gave into it, realizing she wasn't going to back down anytime soon. Anything to make her stop fucking crying. (Y/n) could feel his body heat rise. "You're so sweet~ I'm sorry I lied last time when you came over. I didn't have a date."
He paused and looked down at her with a dark stare. "What."
(Y/n) back away slowly, giving an apologetic smile. "Yeah, I'm sorry. I just wanted to make you mad because you were so mean to me."
Sanemi grimaced at her, his anger rising. "What- you-" he stopped himself, "Y'know what? Fine, I guess that's fair," he sighed. "Sorry I was 'mean' to you."
She grinned at him brightly. "So... are you all better now? No allergies or anything?" Sanemi shrugged again at her. "I guess," he muttered, "I just have to take it easy for a while."
The woman pouted. "Aw, I guess that means no kissing then."
"Wha- I didn't say that!"
She laughed, taking much joy at his despair. But he didn't fret for long as she strode back to him, rising to her tip-toes to give him a modest peck on the lips. It wasn't their first kiss, strangely enough. There were plenty of times when she'd lost a bet with his set reward being some lip-locking. She'd be lying if she said she hadn't enjoyed those rare instances, sometimes purposely losing so he'd make the first move with her only appearing to be upset. But it wasn't just kissing that she was aiming for.
As she'd hoped, he pulled her closer from her teasing exchange for a deeper embrace, pressing his mouth against hers nearly desperately. The passing of tongues was instantaneous as their mouths opened to breathe. As usual, he tasted of sweetness, a honeyed melt that coated her tongue being overtaken by his. He always wanted the lead after all. And right on cue, he began roaming his hands about her form.
That's as far as he'd gone in the past, only brief, respectful groping here and there, around her waist, behind her thigh. Getting him to venture further hopefully wouldn't be too difficult.
But her shitty luck said otherwise after several celibate minutes of necking, so she decided to take the lead for a change. Clearly letting him take control wasn't getting them very far, given that it'd taken him nearly a year to even open up. (Y/n) trailed down his lips, kissing and nibbling along his jaw, giggling at his sudden tensing. Dear god, he practically whined when she got to his throat, sucking at his adam's apple that bobbed as he swallowed. But her command didn't last long as he gave an annoyed growl, wrapping two thick hands under her thigh and jolting her up so they could wrap around his waist. She almost didn't register his teeth attacking her neck when her back was suddenly pressed against the cold wood of the wall she swore was several yards away only a second ago.
"S'nemi..." she whined weakly, high off her mind. The moment felt unreal, her having spent so long fantasizing about this very thing. Too long, in fact. He held her with such ease, regardless of his hand injury, his mouth having a mind of its own as it roamed about her sensitive flesh, leaving dark markings in their obsessive wake.
"Wanna-," He panted, absolutely breathless, "wanna fuck you."
(Y/n) froze, flustered by his sudden confession but somewhat understood as a hard presence poked at her from below, signaling the beginnings of an impressive erection.
"C-can't you ask a little b-better than that?" Despite her trying confidence, her desperate body couldn't help but gyrate against him, hungry for more warmth and friction. He snarled against her pulse.
"Please - shit - please lemme fuck you."
Her back was pressed further into the now heated wooden wall, cornered by his large form. His own hips seemed to speed against hers, gentle but thorough, grinding up into her core deliciously and drawing out a slurred moan. Her breath stuttered as his hand crept up to her nape, fingers wrapping around her neck in a hot caress, his lips leaning up to graze her ear.
"I'll make you feel so damn good-" his teeth rand along the shell of her earlobe, his sultry breath sending a shiver down her spine, "wanna take my time with you, get you so riled up you can't even think straight," he whispered.
Oh god, just the thought of letting him have her left her legs shaking around his waist. The man might've been lacking in the romance department but goddamn, she bet he was an absolute fuck-machine with all those years of training and hard-work. He could probably ruin her if he wanted to. But she wanted that power too. She wanted him just as desperate for her touch and attention, just as cold without her body, just as useless without her direction.
(Y/n) locked eyes with his confused stare as she slowly crept out of his hold, her legs carefully lowering to the floor, hands dragging down his front. His mouth practically dropped open as the realization began to settle onto him of what she was doing. Sanemi only continued to ramble on as she descended, his vigor and confidence increasing tenfold while she dropped to her knees. His hands mindlessly wrapped into her hair. Her perfect fucking hair.
"Gonna fucking ruin you, have you screaming for me to break you. Ain't nobody even gonna look at you when I'm done," he rumbled darkly.
She blinked up at him in annoyance before rolling her eyes.
"You talk to much," she chirped before drawing her hands to his hips.
His breathe hitched as her paws finally met his bulge, her mouth watering at the thick shape while she steadily kneaded it like a kitten. Shinazugawa could do nothing but gape at her eagerness, throwing his head back and letting out a long groan. She seemed satisfied enough with the reaction and finally pulled open his robe.
She gasped as his cock sprung out, bare and swollen, no covering whatsoever. Although shocked at his strange lack of any undergarment, she couldn't help but marvel at his length, so long and thick. Her hands seemed so small compared to it, so tiny as they worked together to wrap around the hefty root. (Y/n) really shouldn't have been so astounded by his size, as he'd boasted many times of his generous package. But she'd always thought he was lying then, ashamed of himself like all the other men who bragged of the same thing. But, apparently, he was truly honest. Hell, it was even bigger that he'd described!
She bravely leaned in, closing her lips to the very tip where a droplet of pre had begun to arise. She sweetly kissed it, her tongue gently slipping out to lick up the opaque drop. A string of mixture followed her retreating mouth, stretching between the two and snapping into nothingness.
"Oh fuck," Sanemi sighed, looking down at her with an expression she could only describe as helplessness.
With one more flick of her gaze, she descended onto his cock, carefully taking as much as she could between her lips until the length had grazed her uvula. She pushed down the urge to gag, breathing deeply through her nose before pulling off, sucking her cheeks in and slurping hard on her way to oxygen. Drool gushed down her chin when she pulled back, her lips and tongue fluttering along the underside of his cock, tracing a throbbing vein that pulsed for attention.
His hands moved from her hair to her face, caressing her cheeks tenderly while she kissed and licked and sucked, absolutely worshipping him. Maybe she'd felt bad for upsetting him, maybe she'd wanted to reward his commitment to her, maybe she'd just wanted to suck his dick. Hell, he didn't much give a shit, not when she was doing so fucking good, giving him all the admiration he could've hoped for. Whatever she lacked for in experience, she made up for in unadulterated passion, laving her kitten tongue up his girth with sloppy wet kisses and sucking tightly at the thick head.
"Oh fuck - keep going, just like that sweetheart. Fuck."
It wasn't long before Sanemi felt the comings of release with how pent up he was, having not even pleased himself after their last fight, his balls swollen and just begging to empty. Sure, he could've stuck things out a bit longer, taken her out on a couple of actual dates, worked his way up all the stupid goddamn bases, but with how things were going, he couldn't think of any good reasons why he shouldn't knock her up after this.
Enjoyment course through her veins as she worked, every thread of of stress, tension, and worry draining from her body with each swaying motion. Her lips had a mind of their own it seemed as they wrapped around him like a suckle, milking him mindlessly and wavering only to get air through her lungs. She could feel his cock twitching in her mouth sporadically, his pulse quickening as he panted deeply above her. (Y/n) went even deeper, her gag reflex begging for reprieve but she silenced it, throating his cock as far as she could without giving out. Her legs pressed together as arousal pooled from her empty center.
His eyes rolled back, and he bucked without thinking, lodging himself as deeply as possible, causing her to choke out startled until a hotness smoothed down the back of her throat. Her wide eyes calmed with the warm balm, cum pumping rope after rope into her stomach. She relaxed into it quickly, kneading his tensed thighs and bobbing her head softly to help him ride it out the waves of euphoria.
His muscles finally eased as he finished, now letting out soft groans as she warmed him with her mouth. He took a moment to admire her, how disheveled her pretty hair was, how ruined her makeup looked, how amazing she felt. He took a mental photograph of it all before pulling out, parting from her lips with a deliciously wet noise. A thread of come dripped his slit, but her tongue was quick to lick it up before it fell.
"Shit~," he sighed and brushed back her sweat-glazed hair from her face. "That was perfect." It wasn't an exaggeration at all, she was everything he'd hoped for and more. He rolled his hips against her face as she licked her lips and breathed, rubbing his cock all over her cheeks, face, everything. Just the sight of her nuzzled against him had his cock ticking to life again.
The girl must've noticed his renewed excitement as she repositioned herself to mouth at him again before sinking down, her lips wrapping around him and continuing with flawless precision. He whimpered out and pulled her off tenderly.
"No, no baby, it's ok." She was more dangerous than he'd thought, clearly.
Honestly, she was kind of hoping to continue sucking him like this. Based on his reactions, she must've been good at it, and God was this the perfect stress reliever. But another reason might've been her nerves. She wasn't quite sure she was ready for him to see her fully naked yet.
(Y/n) wiped her sodden mouth and shakily stood up, her sore knees wobbling.
"O-okay," she gave, "Uhm, lay down I guess. Uh, I'll get on top."
"What? No."
She looked at him a puzzled, fearful gaze, growing scared as he came closer while pulling the rest of his clothes off.
"I haven't even made you come yet. And even when we do fuck, there's no way I'm letting you top," he mumbled, stern and clearly not in the mood to argue.
She became even more anxious as he picked at her delicate clothing, firmly tugging at her woven dress and pulling the ties apart. "W-wait!" she squealed and backed away, her back aching when she'd hit the table.
Sanemi groaned. "Ugh, what now? Wait..." he took a long drawl of her features, her shaken hands that hugged her dress closed, her downcast glazed eyes, her discomforted posture and positioning. "Are you nervous?" He gave a surprised chuckle as her face reddened.
"Don't be a jerk!" she whined, tears beginning to dot her eyes with frustration and worry.
"Hey, hey," he crooned softly, more gently than she'd ever heard him speak. She'd be caught dead before she admitted that it comforted her, though. "It's fine, what are you scared about? I told you I'd take care of you, didn't I?" Sanemi came closer to her, eventually gathering her safely into his arms. He rubbed warm circles on the small of her back as he spoke, heating up the supple flesh. His face nuzzled into her neck, his breath making her shiver.
"Y-you've never seen me naked before," she finally grumbled, her voice shaky, "What if you think I'm ugly?" She could feel him relax into her, his throat letting out a deep groan that had her knees buckling. "Oh sweetheart-"
Really? That was all she was worried about? He truly didn't take her for the self-conscious type, with how confident she acted. The same womant that had purposely let him win bets just so he would kiss and feel her up was scared for him to see her naked? She was such a mystery sometimes. He pulled her further into him, eliciting a high squeal and hoisting her up over his shoulder. He easily carried her over to the nearest bedroom, ignoring her constant feared questions of the destination and intentions. Reaching the room, he threw open the door and laid her upon the futon as if she were made of glass.
"The only thing you need to be worrying about is how many times you're gonna come tonight." He smirked and glanced over at her tensed, little form. "You do look kinda weak now that I think about it... definitely don't get off more than once a day - hell, do you even get off more than once a week?"
(Y/n) looked away mortified, more so at his accuracy rather than his accusation. Her lips thinned and squeaked out, "I'm busy, asshole..."
Shinazugawa hummed with the validation. "Yep, thought so." He carelessly began tearing away at her clothes again, laughing at her little yelps and cries to not damage her precious outfit. Her yukata was easily removed, the... undergarments not so much. Sanemi nearly drooled at the sight, her lush figure wrapped in a smooth, velvety green that mimicked that of a quiet wood. He could make out every small detail in the stitch work, every swirl of organic thread that hid her delicates from his hungry eye. It was fucking lingerie.
"Awwww, you wear this for me?" He purred, deep and ravenous.
She quickly buried her face in her paws, squirming on the bed and groaning. "Shut uuuuup!" When she'd thrown it on earlier at the shop, she hadn't actually thought she'd get to the point of showing off, so certain that they'd have a short and wholesome reunion, maybe a kiss or two. As embarrassed as she was that it had gotten this far, her curiosity was larger, begging for her to see this through. It wouldn't hurt to try... right?
His lips felt like molten lava on her body, a glorious trail of fire that dragged from her face to her neck to her chest. A rush of apprehension yet relief filled her as a single hand unclipped the back of her bralette, the fabric easily falling from her gathered flesh onto the bedding. She was grateful he didn't make a big scene of seeing her naked breasts like she knew some men did, his mouth, instead, doing all the talking, pressing gentle kisses atop her bosom. Her skin flushed with the attention, each whisper of affection adding fuel to fire that was running rampant in the pit of her belly, growing with each second. The woman couldn't help but whine when his tongue finally met her nipple, suckling the nub into his boiling mouth. Her fingers tugged at his snowy locks, grasping them harder and harder each time he switched from left to right, his large hand squeezing the lone tit with every shift. The intimacy of the act alone had her desperate, slick drenching her panties and sliding down her thighs.
"Nemi, p-please-" she mewled, eyes screwed shut with the tension and need.
She heard the man growl as he descended further down her body, drawing small patterns with his tongue with every inch of her flesh and sucking bruising marks.
Her tits were nice, obviously, but he wasn't so kind as to hide the fact that he was more excited to get a taste of another part of her. He took specially care at her lower belly, nibbling on the chubby pouch that kept something so sacred inside. Sanemi nearly trembled with temptation as her sweet musk could be smelt from here, his fingers dancing along the sticky part of her inner thighs to spread them. He licked his lips as he finally, finally, drew downward, placing himself in front of her clothed center. The wet fabric was evident, her neglected cunt absolutely seething for any form of attention. His body moved before he could stop himself, his face nuzzling into the soaked covering and taking deep, gulping breathes, his strong arms keeping her too spread to stop him.
"-Smell so fucking good... bet you taste like candy," he moaned.
(Y/n) writhed in his hold. completely against... whatever the fuck he was doing. "Sanemi, stop it! Y-you're so weird! Stop... smelling it..."
He tutted at the weak insult, responding with a clip of his teeth at the lacy top of the panties. He effortlessly tore them from her nethers, burning the flesh and drawing out a gasp. "Shhhhh," he whispered, "Wanna suck you."
Sanemi was quickly overtaken by how perfect she looked, her cunt lips all swollen and glistening with slick, her little clit poking out and twitching ever-so-slightly for some love. She could feel his brawny arms clench around her thighs, feel his hot breath fan across her wet lips, feel how eager he was to devour her. And once again, she was rendered too speechless to stop him.
His tongue was the first to meet her, licking a wide stripe up her glossy slit. He shuttered at the syrupy taste of her. It was close to torture as he made out with her pussy, his mouth embracing her with open-mouth kisses and closing in around her pulsing nub, giving it a slow suck. She was already so amped up for release, so teased for it, yet the feeling only rose, drawing further and further toward the edge but never quite falling from it. She tore at his mane, pushing him deeper into her kitten, praying for the intensity to break. And he was there for the journey, in his own world of euphoria. He would live here if he could, forever breathing in the saccharine scent and nursing on her ripened nub. He let himself get lost in it for a while - he deserved a treat for all his troubles after all - but eventually he composed himself, setting a flawless rhythm of tongue-flicking to get her off.
And only then was the flip switched, her pleasure climbing and climbing until she met the brink, the thread pulled tight.
"C'mon, baby," he growled, "come on my tongue."
(Y/n) sobbed when she came, her clit throbbing between his lips as he gave it a strong suck, relishing the gush of honey that filled his mouth. He continued with his meal, licking up every messy drop she gave and kissing her fluttering hole. Her sensitivity made all of it agony, every kiss and lick driving her closer and closer to insanity. She tried to wiggle away, but her efforts were futile with his unbreakable grip of her, his motions only becoming quicker and stronger, breaking her containment.
"Please, Nemi, please... i-it hurts," (Y/n) begged. He snickered at her submission, finally drawing back and wiping his glazed maw with the back of his hand. He leisurely kissed back up her body, savoring each and every sigh of pleasure she gave him. His hands pawed at her hips and breasts, massaging the blushing plushness that filled out his hands like dough. Her thighs wrapped around his hips as his lips met her throat, sucking even more hickeys and bruises over the previous ones, he didn't want them fading for quite some time.
She could feel his cock already pressing at her, laying across her hip hard as stone and leaking pre-cum over her sweated skin. Despite her tire, the girl could feel the growings of want again, an emptiness eating at her from the inside out. "Mmmm-," she sighed, "Jus' put it in." Her laughed into her jawline, pausing his meddling. Even in her exhaustion, she rolled her eyes, reaching between their bodies for his piece. He was immediately taken aback by her action, but gave no stop to it, letting her grab for him. He liked this side of her, the side that just took what she needed from him. If he wanted a selfless woman, he wouldn't be in this position in the first place.
Her fist wrapped around the base, slid down the length of it until she found the tip, then pushed it to her opening. She had to lift her hips a bit to meet it halfway since he was being a dick, but she knew what she was doing. Kinda. Sorta.
Just when she gathered the tip inside her, already sweating at the stretch, he thrust his hips, jabbing a thick chunk into her. She yelped out in pain, tears dotting her vision. Her mused at her ruined appearance, the clench her body gave as he penetrated her. She was really having a hard time taking him, a pride blooming in his chest that he was just that fucking gifted. But that wasn't to say he wasn't having difficulty as well.
"Goddamnit, you're tight - might not even fit, nn, all the way," he mumbled.
"N-no," she pleaded, "It'll fit."
(Y/n) wrapped her legs tighter around him, pulling him in hard, swallowing him into her heat. He nearly toppled over right then and there, so overwhelmed and astonished with her demonstration of carnal strength. Yet he could still hear her labored breaths, the wetness of her tears falling to her hairline in her efforts. It was angering almost, how careless she was to do such a thing. He would have never forced her to hurt herself just to please him, nor should she fear abandonment for failing to give him what he wanted. He'd have to straighten that out later.
Her cunt heaved around him, the collected slick at least providing some relieve to the pain she must have beared. Oh god did it hurt. He was so huge, it felt as if she'd been torn open from the inside. But she didn't care how much it burned, she wanted this part to be over with, she wanted to feel good already. Every lingering second of not being filled had the emptiness inside her growing, like a pit of darkness. And while she was sure some blood was shed, at least her guts finally had something to suck on.
"Y-you... you c-can move now, I think...," she rasped, her head still foggy from the fullness. He hummed at the request yet seemed to ignore her as he bent down to her chest, take a hard nipple into his mouth. (Y/n) bit her lip and whined at the added stimulation.
"S'nemi, move-" she spoke again, stern but shaky. She felt him smile against her breast.
"I dunno, kinda like it right here. I might just have you warm my cock all night," he purred, still sucking at her teat. She blushed at the confession, giving his face a little push away from her chest.
"What?" he laughed, "You're good at it."
She denied him any reply, turning away in sheepishness. She was sure it was just sex-talk, but it was nice knowing that he felt good being warmed by her. Her cunt fluttered softly around him, oozing more slick onto his member and beginning to stick to his thatch of pubic hair. A soft moan spilled from her with his responding roll of his hips, pressing the tip of himself further into her cervix. She hadn't expected it to feel so heavenly already, especially when she'd been in such pain only a moment before. His parts hit deep, filling her to the point of nearly bursting. She swore she could feel him in her chest.
"N-nemi - oh my god...," she mewled.
"I know, sweetheart, I know. Just let me take care of you."
She didn't even have to ask twice as he began grinding into her, churning her insides like butter while her cream spewed out to gloss his cock. Her arms weakly wrapped around him, desperate for something to hold onto. It already felt like too much, the thickness, the length. She was gonna split in half, she could feel it. But he went slow, thankfully, letting her get accustomed to the overbearing fit. Her pussy couldn't stop clutching around him, high off the sensation of his length twitching inside her and scratching the itch that she could never quite reach. Drool threatened the corner of her lips, his rhythm of humping so deep and smooth. She could already feel herself go dumb.
"That's a pretty face you're makin'," Sanemi hummed, "And I haven't even started yet." She furrowed. What did he mean?
Her eyes rolled back as he delivered a powerful blow, drawing his hips back several long inches before snapping them back and pummeling into her cunt. Oh god. He continued the harsh thrusting, holding her little body to his chest and pumping viciously into her weeping pussy. She felt everything, from the hot veins that lined his length to the way he filled her out completely, every sensation gathered into a clump of overstimulation, tearing at her nerves one by one. Yet it was too little at the same time. As crazy as it was, it still felt as if he was going easy on her, her hungry cunny still raging to be ruined.
The moans and pleas fell out her mouth before she could stop them, stupidity literally being fucked into her. (Y/n) couldn't even hope to keep up and simply held onto his back as fiercely as she could, eventually biting down on his shoulder for an outlet.
She wasn't the only victim of it though. Sanemi, too, could feel himself being driven to the brink of insanity. He'd thought her mouth felt good, but dear god was her cunt another story. Her tiny pussy had a mind of its own, sucking him in so hard he felt his head get dizzy. Fuck, she was dangerous. He wasn't sure he'd be able to stay off of her after this. Just the thought of her constantly hanging off his dick had him going feral, viciously snapping his hips into hers without a second thought. And don't even get him started on the babies they would make. If it were up to him, she'd eternally have a baby in her belly, the consequence of being a dumping ground for every precious drop of his cum. He licked his lips at the thought.
Shit, she was close. She just needed a little more, just a bit.
"Harder, Nemi, right there!" she squealed as he jammed into her sweet spot, reaching an arm down from his back to press between her folds, quickly flicking at her bead. So close.... so close... almost-
It felt cruel to leave her hole so quickly, crumbling the chase of her orgasm that he knew was only a hair's breadth away. She sobbed when he yanked out of her gaping entrance, her hips jerking toward him at the sudden absence that had her feeling so horribly empty. But her grief was short lived as he spun her around with a growl, shoving her top half into the bed with a hand to the center of her shoulder blades. The other paw curved her hips up, raising her ass high in the air. He filled her back up in an instant, her thighs trembling at the sudden reunion. But she quickly eased, her bones going soft and brain turning to mush as he resumed the primal fucking. Sounds of sloshing wetness furnished her ears along with her own breathy moans, each thrust providing a reminder of just how soaked she was. And she only got wetter, like an endless fountain of hydration.
Sanemi groaned at the sight of her tiny, little pussy taking him at this angle, her poor kitty straining and stretching to take in every inch of his shaft. The girl was like a ragdoll in his hands now, doing nothing but drool into the sheets and let him ravage her as he wished. He nearly laughed at how silent she was now, the only obvious answer being that he had finally dicked her down to submission.
Her climax began to claw at her again, the hills of it coming one after another until she stood at the tip-top of it, creeping toward the edge.
"Jus' like that... jus' like that...," she mumbled into the saliva-drenched bedding, throwing her ass back into him for more friction. The impact of his heavy balls smacking across her clit only drew her higher, rapturous shocks shooting up her body with each wet slap.
He felt himself getting close as well, his cock jumping inside of her excitedly. She was just too tight; it was like she was sucking the cum out of him straight from the source.
"Fuuuuuuck, where - hah - where you want my cum?" he groaned, needing an answer fast. As much as he wanted to, he knew she probably didn't want to take any risks. He knew she wasn't on anything, and even if she was, she probably wouldn't like the mess afterward.
But he was wrong. She tried to think for a moment, she did. But all she could focus on was how good she felt and the way her body fit so well under his. Her eyes scrunched, attempting a thought.
Where you want my cum?
Cum. You. Where. Want.
Want. Cum. You.
You. Want. Cum
Cum.
Her cunt tightened.
"'nside..."
His ears strained to listen to what she said, the timeline closing as his balls drew tight. "Huh???" he urged again. He leaned down to her, nearing his ear toward her babbling lips. (Y/n) turned to free her voice, panting.
"I-I-Inside," she repeated. His heart stopped.
"C-cum... i-inside... me."
He groaned loud, silencing himself by biting into the pillow next to her head. Her disgustingly hot words threw him over embarrassingly quick, his hips stilling as deep as he could manage whilst his weight gave, suffocating her beneath him. His seed spilled hotly into her pulsing cunt, thick spurts of white filling her starved womb while his balls throbbed.
She, at first, loathed his lack of movement, angered that he had yet again left her hanging from release. Until she felt the warmth. The pleasure was instantaneous, her insides purring at the searing hot milk that flooded her. She could feel how thick it was too, how copious the amount as her uterus labored to make room for such a feast. Yet she still clenched around him vigorously, wanting to drain every drop into herself and receive every ounce of ecstasy it rewarded her. And before she realized it, she was coming, clamping down hard and gushing juices around him with a shrill cry.
The man allowed himself a few moments to gather his bearings, praying that post-nut clarity give him some idea of what to do. But all he felt was exhaustion. Sanemi forced himself to roll over, taking her with him so they lie on their sides. He was surprised she was still breathing after being squashed.
"D-dont even think about falling asleep," he huffed after feeling her breathing begin to even with unconsciousness. "We're not done yet." Why the hell did he always have to open his fucking mouth? He was done for and he knew it.
She whined sleepily and slowly manuevered herself to turn around, losing his flaccid cock in the process but he promptly reinserted himself. "But I'm tiiiiiiiiiired."
"Don't care."
He felt content that she didn't argue, clearly having gained some respect for his manhood as she simply snuggled into him, pressing her face into his warm chest. They remained silent for a few moments, regaining their breath and calming their heartbeats. However, his softened cock still remained cooped up inside her.
"If I let you keep it in me all night, will you let me sleep?" she offered. He sighed at her insistence but gave in.
"I'll think about it."
She smiled softly, nuzzling under his chin with affection.
He couldn't stop himself from drifting off, comfortable in the safety of her engulfing heat. "'M g'nna f'ck you s'hard t'morro...," he managed to mutter as his lids shut. Despite being half asleep, she giggled and kissed his neck.
They'd deal with everything later, get all this relationship and contraceptive shit under control. Right now, he was just glad to have her with him, cuddling into him so adorably with her stupid little smile. He tilted down, pressing his nose into her messy locks.
Flowers.

boyfriends - e.b
Tumblr media
summary: after dealing with her boyfriend for years, she finally decides to end things with help from buck.
evan buckley x reader
based on the song boyfriends by harry styles :))
a/n: guys i’m on s5 and what the duck is happening. also pretend ravi has been there for longer bc i literally love him
the table was set with thin candles and ceramic plates under a maroon tablecloth. there were light rain noises coming from outside, calming the room with the dim lights. the aroma of homemade pasta and white wine was filling the room. dressed in her neat jean skirt and black top, y/n sat in one of the chairs at the table.
the door unlocked and swung open with an aggressive stomping coming in with a swaying man. “hey, princess! sorry i’m late i was just busy.” slurring his words together, he walks over as she stands up.
“i thought you were at work.” she states, quietly. she’s confused as he should smell like an office, but instead radiates a busy bar and whisky.
“oh, the guys wanted to go out, sorry about dinner,” he says, slumping on the couch.
“i planned this whole thing, cam. you really couldn’t blow them off for one night?”
“it was just dinner! it’s not like we didn’t have food here.”
“yeah, food for us, that i made for you!” she starts getting annoyed but it’s impossible to argue with a drunk person. “it’s fine, i’ll just take it to work.” clearly annoyed, she pulls the plates out and clears them off into tupperware.
“well don’t be pissed at me because i wanted to hang out with the boys,” he says, his words barely making sense. she doesn’t fight back, knowing he won’t even remember this in the morning.
“go to bed, cameron.” y/n says, before entering the bathroom and shutting the door behind him.
————————————————————————
dressing for work, y/n wakes up to throw on her uniform. she gathers her things to prepare for another long shift at the 118, and she notices his keys gone, along with his work belongings.
she walks out the door after grabbing the leftovers she had spent hours preparing for someone who spent hours not caring. she walks into the station to be greeted by her real family.
“hey, y/n!” eddie says, organizing one of the trucks with buck.
buck gives her a sweet smile, noticing the abnormal lack of excitement on her face. she walks over and talks to them a bit, drained of energy but still ready to force herself through the day.
as much as she didn’t want to leave her apartment, being at the station felt more of a warm welcome. stepping in through the garage doors, the cold air from her apartment and life outside had evaporated.
the team goes upstairs to the kitchen, as bobby is making coffee for everyone. y/n leaves her extra food on the counter to show people.
“what’s all this from, y/n?” bobby asks. “you didn’t have to bring this.”
“oh, it’s just my l-“ she cuts herself off. “i made this to bring to you guys. i made the pasta myself.”
“it’s delicious!” buck says, a mouthful of pasta and covering his mouth. he tries to lighten her mood after seeing directly through her lies.
he had met cameron before, never really being a fan of him. she’d brought him to one of the gatherings, and he spent the whole time ignoring her existence, and then getting mad at her for being upset. he knew she deserved better, and honestly, he thought, she deserves him. he wanted to help her, but didn’t want to cross the line and help where he wasn’t needed.
“really, buck? couldn’t even heat it up?” hen asks, slightly disappointed but expecting nothing else from him.
they all walk away back to their own chores around the station, as bobby stays in the kitchen. “hey, y/n!” buck runs up behind her.
“yeah? you ok?”
“that’s… kinda my question to you.” he stutters a bit. “it’s just- just wanna make sure everything’s okay, you don’t seem as… bright and bubbly as normal.”
buck and y/n had been friends for a long time, knowing how each other felt all the time. they were able to connect with one another so easily, and buck knew that something was wrong with her. he missed her happy mood, that seemed to have faded away more with every shift.
“oh, i’m fine, buck.” she smiles. “it’s just been a lot of work and sleeping, and repeat.”
she lies to him again about cameron, even though he knows the truth. “y/n/n, come on. don’t lie to me.”
“what?” she peeps out.
“talk to me, please.” he begs her to open up because he just wants to make her feel better. “is it cam?”
“n-no, buck. stop, it’s fine.”
that answer alone told him everything he needed to know. he doesn’t know all the details of their relationship, but it’s almost like cam pretends they aren’t even in one.
y/n doesn’t know why she defends him so much, or why she sticks up with it. she’s hoped things will change for a while, but usually nothing looks up. she loves him, she does. at least she thinks so. she provides so much for both of them, and has put in so much energy to their relationship, only for broken promises in return. she has hope that the time she’s put in was worth it, but every day when she goes home to him it becomes weaker. being a first responder, she wants to help everyone she can. she wants to be able to fix their relationship and she wants to feel valued, for once. people tell her all the time how she saved them, and she so badly wants him to realize that everyone needs to be saved. she’s given him the world, and it’s not long before she takes it all back.
“i know it’s not. i’m here for you, and if he’s not good to you i’m gonna be-“
“buck, just drop it! i’m doing the best i can!” her voice raises in defense, and he pulls her into the locker rooms. “im drained from this relationship, right now and i cannot get into this with you right now. this is my only escape, evan.” her light tears form in her eyes before her breathing becomes sharper. the other workers look at them, but with death stares from hen, chimney, and eddie they look away. they’re listening too, they never really liked him either but figured it was none of their business. it hurts to see their friend in this situation.
“i know, it’s gonna be ok.” he pulls her into a hug in hopes to calm her down. “you didn’t make that for us, didn’t you?”
“no, i made it for him. then he came home completely wasted and told me not to make a big deal out of it. i spent my one day off making this big ass dinner for him, and he couldn’t even take a minute to say thank you.”
“look at me, y/n.” buck pulls away and places his hands on your shoulders. “it is not your fault he’s not good enough for you. he is not. good. enough.”
“no,” she whispers.
“yes,” he says. “you deserve better than what he’s giving you.”
she shakes her head and his heart breaks more. there is no way that he has given her so much shit that she doesn’t believe it’s his own fault. the tears come stronger and run down her damp cheeks. “i can’t just leave him, buck. i cant hurt him like that because some part of me still loves him.”
“i know, but it is for the better.”
“i don’t think i have the power to end things. he wouldn’t listen to me and i can’t bring myself to break his heart.” she cries.
“you need to leave him before he breaks yours any more than it already is.” y/n calls back into his chest, and he sits her down on the benches. his own eyes are becoming glossy at the pain of watching his best friend have to deal with this. he’s had his own fair share of bad relationships, but they never meant anything because he is scared of this happening. it hurts his heart to know that she’s been carrying herself through this relationship as he’s just been more weight on her shoulders.
————————————————————————
the door of the apartment swings open again, as usually. surprisingly, the smell of liquor doesn’t hit y/n’s nose. cameron walks in, placing his bags on the floor by the door. “y/n?”
“y/n? where are you?” he calls out again and she makes her way out of the bedroom. “hey, you. did you make dinner?”
“no.” she says, maintaining eye contact.
“o-oh? we don’t have leftovers?”
“no, cameron. i took them to the station.” she says. “you would remember i told you that, but you were too drunk to remember.”
“what are you talking about, y/n? i went out for drinks, i don’t know why you have to be so bitchy about it.” she’s made her decision to leave, but the names still sting inside.
“well, you don’t have to deal with it anymore.”
“what the hell is that supposed to mean? youre not actually leaving me.” he let’s out a patronizing chuckle at her words, but she stands her ground.
“i am leaving you, cameron. my stuff is in my car, and we are over.” she doesn’t move from her spot on the ground, scared to move her glued feet like she’d fall over.
he laughs again with a critical grin on his face, again. “and where do you think you’ll go? i pay for this apartment, i pay the bills. you have nothing without me. y/n.”
“i work at the best fire station with the highest ranking paramedics and firefighters out there.” she retorts back. “i’ll be just fine without you, hell, i practically have been for the past two years.”
“you’re embarrassing yourself, baby girl.” y/n’s expression scrunches up from the cringe of the pet name that she’s always hated.
“don’t ever call me that again.”
“you have no where to go, you can’t stay at your stupid job forever.” he takes a step closer, and she takes another one back.
“actually, she’s going to stay with me until she can find an apartment.” buck says, coming around the corner, sensing her fear.
cam rubs his face. “y/n, please. we can do this together. you know i love you.” his immediate switches in mood is what she can’t control anymore, and she can no longer deal with it.
“some version of me out there still loves you back, and i feel insane amounts of nothing but pity for her.” y/n spits out at him.
“you’re a fucking psycho,” he says, and buck runs over to create more distance, standing between the two. y/n turns around, running her hands through her hair, trying to disappear.
“we’re leaving, y/n/n.” buck says, gripping your waist. “let’s go.”
“fuck, whatever. get the hell out.” cameron finally moves to the side and y/n and buck walk out of y/n’s old ‘home’ for the last time.
they stand outside in the parking lot, standing side by side as a speechless y/n stares in the distance. “i won’t stay for too long, i’ve found a few nice apartments to look at.”
“don’t worry about anything, y/n. you can stay there forever if it means you’re not there anymore.”
being faced with this much kindness and loving actions overwhelms her, making even more tears that she didn’t know she had pool in her eyes. “don’t cry, please. it’s ok, i’m here.” he pulls her back in and pats the back of her hair. “why don’t you drive over to my place, i’ll meet you in the parking lot.”
they go their separate ways and start driving to his nice apartment and already, it feels more like home than hers ever did.
buck pulls out his phone in the parking lot, in his car. he dials a few numbers and pulls the phone to his ear.
“hey, maddie. you busy tonight?”
————————————————————————
going up the stairs, y/n only had the energy to bring in a single bag to his apartment tonight. they walk side by side to his door together, his arm around her shoulders. buck fumbles with his keys and looks at her red, worn out eyes.
when he unlocks the door, y/n immediately notices all her family around bucks kitchen. she places her eyes on everyone, bobby and athena, hen, ravi, chimney and maddie, even christopher and eddie are there. “hey, y/l/n, welcome home.” athena is the first to say. and for the first time of the night, a fixed smile shines through her.
“hi guys, you all crowded in here?”
“thanks to this one, we wanted to be here for you, y/n.” hen says, pointing to buck.
“you did this?” she asks, sweetly, as if they all had just wrapped her hurt heart with the bandages of their love.
“i guess you could say that.” buck smiles, not wanting to take credit, but happy that he’s finally put some light in her mind.
“y/n, come over here and show us how you made that pasta.” bobby says, calling her over to start making dinner. “maddies going to start a salad.”
“ooh! i can make margaritas!” buck exclaims, excitedly.
“um, i can get behind that!” chim says.
everyone gathered around the kitchen, y/n notices her family all around, taking in the love they’ve given her. they would never have to take the time out of their day to come hang out in bucks tiny apartment if they didn’t truly care about her.
after a while, only buck and her remain in the kitchen. as everyone else squeezes into his living room, some people literally sitting on top of each other.
“hey, i don’t know how to thank you for all of this.”
“you don’t have to thank me for anything. this,” buck says, looking around the room. “is what you’ve deserved. and i will do anything to make sure you know that.”
they keep their eyes together, feeling everything from the day come down on them. both of them have their fears, but they seem to fade away and they forget about everyone else. realizing how much he really cares about her has changed everything for her. she loves buck more than she would ever have been able to love cameron. she reaches up impulsively, grabbing the sides of his face and pulling him in. she gives him a deep kiss and buck swears he’s levitating off the ground. his heart is on fire, waiting for this moment since they met. he didn’t expect anything in return, but he will say that this is a pretty nice reward.
buck leans back and shines a toothy grin at her, and she giggles. “you are very welcome.” he says, barely being able to get words out from his happiness.
they look over after hearing tiny giggles in the room. they both look over simultaneously, seeing christopher with an adorable, shining smile at them. he’s covering his mouth, but failing to conceal himself. “hi, christopher.” buck says.
“hi, buck! hi y/n!” he says, still not being able to wipe the smile away.
back in the living room, with maddies legs draped over him, chimney says to hen with a smirk, “and just like that, i am 20 dollars richer.”
“oh come on, chim, we all knew it was bound to happen.” hen laughs and they welcome y/n and buck back over.

Haha. Well. Now, now. I'll have you know I've been told I'm cute when I'm drunk. By a few people. I find *everything* funny and I giggle a lot and apparently it's very endearing?
I haven't been drunk in about 10 years and I can count on one hand how many times I've been drunk. Never been black out or stumbling drunk either. It's not for me. My spelling sure does take a hit though. 🤣  I'm such a lightweight I only had 2 or 3 drinks on Friday night. Then promptly fell asleep shortly after.
I stand by my non-sober statements though. You *are* cute. (I'll never say it again...probably) Not trying to be insulting or condescending...it just...is what it is? I think a lot of 'scary' things are cute. 🤷‍♀️ I think Stanley is adorable too and he could absolutely take my limbs off. I'm not afraid of him bc I know he won't hurt me. And I'm not afraid of you bc I also don't think you'd hurt me. I don't exactly fit your M.O., eh? And you'd gain nothing from it. Don't worry! I'm not going to try to cuddle you or anything. What would you have done if drunk me had tried???? (I wouldn't have)
I have NO idea where the hand kissing thing came from. Sorry if it made you uncomfortable. And no, no one has ever kissed my hand. It's very old fashioned; I don't think people do that anymore? Maybe it's just me who has never been a recipient.
As for my job...I'm not good at very much and pickins are slim around here. Anything I've seen pays SIGNIFICANTLY less. So for now I'll bang on until I find something else...or have a mental breakdown. Whichever comes first. HAH.
Hooray Stanley! I hope he ate well! I bet he's purring all the time at the hotel.
Did you even *try* that vodka? Did you hate it? Lol. Maybe Angel Dust would like it. Please give it to him if you don't want it. Oh! I just remembered, I once tried homemade vodka that some Russian circus acrobats I knew made. Just a sip. The smell alone made my eyes water. It may have burnt a hole in my esophagus. Hah.
Hey! You didn't tell me a joke! *pouts*
So I'll give you a terrible pun. It's been a while.
What do you call a deer with no eyes?
I have no eye deer!
🤣🤣🤣
Hmmm...today's picture: a silly photo I took of the old palomino I visit on my walks sometimes. He's called Chazz.
https://ibb.co/q5FT16M
After while, crocodile 🐊
Tumblr media
Well, I've seen very few experiences that are good when folks are drunk. I'm happy that it has worked out for you! By all means, I did not mean to offend.
Well, being cute in Hell usually ends very badly for you. And well, I would rather not be called "cute" or "adorable" as you call it. No, I have no interest in hurting you and I rather enjoy our conversations!
If you had tried to cuddle me while you were drunk? Well, I'd attempt to get away from you to ensure you do nothing you'll regret to me. If you somehow pinned me down and cuddled with me, I would simply sit there and wait until you wake. I'm a gentleman after all!
Well, I wish you luck with your job, I suppose.
I tried it. Angel Dust insisted that he take it and I relented without much effort. It wasn't a terrible vodka. Adequate I'd say. Thank you, darling.
Hah! That's quite a lovely joke, dear! Thank you!
I'm not one for animals but my, that horse is quite adorable! Chazz...hmm...what an interesting name!
See you later, my dear alligator!

better late than never - t.eishi
Tumblr media Tumblr media
a/n; im lazy so this is gonna be a small bullet fic so unlucky if you wanted a full oneshot. im sorry if you wanted one-
Tumblr media
so, it's valentine's day-
any chef in totsuki loves valentines, well,,, maybe not any-
but a lot of chefs in love really love this day
oh all the homemade food and chocolates
it's great
but it's not so great for our boy eishi.
being the anxiety-ridden perfectionist he is, he really hates this day
it's only because he tries to make the best food just for you
then he ends up chickening out because he's not the most confident in his chocolatier skills
he's out here trying his best
this year was gonna be different
he was gonna confess
he was gonna finally do it
he had asked some friends for help
their ideas were a little eccentric,, so he was stuck trying to figure his own plan
after a solid few hours of mental breakdowns, various recipe testing, and stalling for time to even get everything ready before you could find out, he finally had a plan
and so it started
eishi was of course, extremely nervous, he wanted this to go well but of course he couldn't help worrying about it all
on the other hand, you were excited for valentine's day
you had made some chocolate for eishi as you had planned to give some to him
erina was not as pleased knowing this but it's not like she could stop you from doing it
anyways
it was time
"hey y/n.."
"what's up eishi?"
he has those anime dotted eyes, literally so scared to say anything
"uh- well..." he gave you his chocolates "i wanted to give you these... and uh... ireallylikeyou-" (i really like you)
"really? these are for me? thank you! i wanted to give you these too!." you hand him the chocolates that you made "but... what did you say at the end? i couldn't catch it."
"i like you... a lot."
"really?"
cue rindo being the best wingwoman and telling you more abt how much eishi like you
erina in the bg shaking n crying bc her twin is being "taken away" /lh
soma giving a thumbs up to eishi, "good job senpai!"
it's great and wholesome

BNHA boys as babysitters !
w/ shoji, todoroki, kaminari, sero, midoriya and iida!
tw: none, just fluff!
- a/n: small note,, by him / her, Im talking about the child / kid.
Shouji
Tumblr media
so good with kids, so patient
he'd have a big brother image, making it easy for kids to be comfortable with him.
will watch tv with the kid snuggled beside / onto his arms.
will have his eyes and ears on the child 85% of the time.
yet somehow still managed to loose the child after a game of hide and seek 😭.
took him 10 minutes to find the child fast asleep in a closet.
since then, he keeps the child tucked into his arms incase he looses him/her again.
"but mr.shoji I wanna play more hide and seek"
"only if you don't fall asleep in the closet this time."
"I wont! I promise!"
Todoroki
Tumblr media
the first time he babysit, he absolutely FROZE.
he has dealt with some children before, it shouldn't be that hard right?
yes, he did some research after agreeing on the job. yet he felt like his mind just went completely blank.
was a bit stiff for a few minutes, just staring at the kid drawing away in his/her little world, not knowing what to do.
but eventually he and the child communicated with simple questions like 'what are you drawing?' or 'have you eaten yet?'
would make snow out of his ice to entertain the small bean.
ends up sleeping in the couch with the kid on his chest.
"woah! your quirk is so cool! what else can you do with it?"
"we can make snow out of my ice if you want to"
"really? yes please!"
Kaminari
Tumblr media
a very very very cheerful babysitter.
is down to play any game with the kid.
hide and seek? no problem. wanna play online games? go ahead. as long as the kid's happy, he's happy.
takes selfies with the child, trying out some funny filters on Snapchat. even posts some of them on his story.
brags to the bakusquad when a kid he babysits calls him cool and awesome.
would probably bend some rules here and there,
like staying an hour up later than his/her bedtime, or eating 2 cookies before bedtime instead of just 1.
"awwww you totally beat me on that round, kid!"
"can we play one more round?? pretty pleaseeee"
"alright alright, but go easy on my this time okay?"
Sero
Tumblr media
AN AMAZING BABYSITTER.
makes them homemade snacks with the limited ingredients he has. despite it being limited, he still makes the snacks taste amazing.
there is never a boring moment with him.
would swing the child on the air as if the child was spiderman.
also does arts and crafts with them!!!
teaches the kid origami, nothing too complicated tho, just something like paper planes or boats.
once man a paper frog that could hop and rest assured, the kid loved it.
doesn't even care how big of a mess they make. like kaminari, he's satisfied as long as the kid is happy.
kids just love him so much, he'd be the favorite babysitter.
"hey kid, look, I made a frog"
"woahhh, can you teach me how to make that one too???"
"only if you help me clean up the mess we both made"
"alrighty then!"
Midoriya
Tumblr media
he was too kind to say no when his aunt asked him to babysit his cousin, so here he is now, with the said child in his arms.
tries his best to keep the kid happy.
but when the child cries or pouts, he's gonna full on PANIC.
makes funny faces or turns the tv on to calm the kid down.
if the kid was also an all might fan, just know he would be over the moon for it.
would watch all mights compilations together with the kid.
plays hero with him/her. just like how izuku and his mom played heros when he was younger.
"oh no~ someone help me, I'm in danger~!"
"don't worry Mr. deku! I am here!!!"
Iida
Tumblr media
he'd be like a strict dad
gotta follow the rules at all times, simply bcs "it's for you're on good."
will have a whole ass time chart for everything he has to do.
4pm - play time with kid, 6pm - snack time, 8pm - bedtime.
but if his rules / chart is followed, he'd probably feel generous and give the child 30 minutes more of playing before bedtime.
tells him / her bedtime stories.
I'd like to think before he goes to the house he babysits, he'd stop by a library to borrow a story book. he'd make sure he gets a new book each and everytime.
"can I sleep late tonighttt? pleasee"
"alright then, you have until 8:30. after that, I'm bringing you to bed."
"fine finee. and you'll tell me a bedtime story right?"
"of course."

Always You
(Peter Parker/Spider-Man x Stark!Reader)
Chapter 01
Tumblr media
A/N: this is set during Homecoming (and eventually FFH) in a universe where Tony isn’t ☠️ bc we don’t acknowledge that trauma here 🙂 also, there are elements from the comics and the older movies, but it’s still in the MCU
———————————————————————
I never meant to find it.
And I wasn’t being nosy either. It was my dads fault, really. Okay so yes, I wasn’t supposed to be in his workshop. But is it my fault he just leaves important things lying around? Mom’s told him to keep it tidy enough times you think it’d be engrained in his brain.
Anyway, the how isn’t important. Not even the why matters. It’s everything that came after.
It was the day my world began falling apart.
The moment I lost all trust—all respect—for the two men closest to my heart.
Now that I know their secret, I don’t see how I’ll be able to look them in the eye. But I’m going to do it. I’m going to keep my head up, act as normal as possible...
And see how long it takes for them to tell me themselves.
———————————————————————
                      Three Months Earlier
“I’m here on the corner of fifth and main, just a street away from the reported sighting of a flying man causing panic among the locals.”
Y/N adjusted her fingers around the smooth base of the microphone, her skin slipping against the hard plastic. It wasn’t nerves causing the dampness on her palms, but excitement. Her eyes flickered from the camera lens pointed in her direction to her best friend standing behind it before easily finding their mark again.
“The large, mechanically winged man has been wrecking havoc in New York’s beloved neighborhood of Queens for the last—”
The ground suddenly shifted beneath her feet with a loud boom, jolting her forward and stopping her report mid-sentence. She twirled around, eyes instantly landing on the sandwich shop across the street.
Or, rather, on the man looming ominously from its roof.
She could only assume it was a man. She’d never seen his face—or any part of his body for that matter—not that his skintight suit left anything to the imagination. But the media affectionately called him “Spider-Man”, so they pretty much filled in the blanks on that one.
She watched as he seemingly surveyed the area. It was always so hard to tell what was going on behind that mask, but every time she saw him she liked to imagine a picture perfect heroic expression etched into handsome features.
It made her disdain for the local superstar a little easier to swallow down.
His head swiveled back and forth a few times, fists clenching at his sides, before he shot one of his webs and disappeared on the other side of the building. She immediately turned back toward her camerawoman, lips pulled into an excited grin.
“This is perfect. Come on.” She wasted no time in scooping up some of the equipment laying at her feet, but stopped short when she noticed the apprehensive expression staring back at her.
“I don’t think I’m really in the mood to run toward danger today.” Her best friend’s bored voice didn’t match the concern she knew was brewing just below the surface.
“MJ,” Y/N all but whined. “We need this story.”
“We need to get ready for next week’s debate.” She muttered, mild annoyance seeping through. “We need to be home in twenty minutes so your dad doesn’t kill us. We need—”
“Okay, okay, I get it.” Y/N huffed, tossing the last of the camera supplies into her bag before slinging it over her shoulder.
She turned on her heel, pulling her phone from her back pocket as she moved toward the last crash that sounded a few blocks away. She was getting this story, whether she had to go alone or not. Screw her father’s arbitrary curfew. He was in India for the next few days, anyway.
“You’re serious?” MJ’s incredulous voice echoed from behind her. “What about Liz’s party?”
Y/N’s attention only wavered from the small screen in her hands once she was finished temporarily disabling the tracking feature her dad had not so subtly installed before giving it to her. He didn’t need to know she almost immediately figured out it was there, just like she didn’t need to know that he got a notification every time she hacked into the system.
Her eyes found MJ’s, wide with shock and following something in the sky above. Y/N’s head snapped upward, gaze locking on the flying man who was twisting and turning aggressively in an attempt to kick Spider-Man off his right wing.
“Yes. Very serious.” She huffed, pulse jumping with excitement. “If FRIDAY calls just, please, try to be convincing.”
With that, she spun around one last time before jogging toward the action. She knew MJ’s hesitation was coming from a good place. They’d been inseparable since middle school because they were on opposing ends of the same strong-willed base.
Where MJ was methodical and calculated, Y/N was rash and unpredictable. They were both the type to end up involved in sketchy situations, just at varying speeds and levels of grandeur. Y/N had her father to thank for that.
The iconic Tony Stark was not a pretender. He was who he was, loud and proud. He’d never apologized for it before—not even when he should’ve—and he probably never would. Y/N, on the other hand, had been pretending to be something she wasn’t for more than a decade.
He’d given her a choice when she was old enough for kindergarten. They talked about it, mapped out the pros and cons, and she made a decision. Soon after, she entered the outside world as Y/N Smith. It was the best thing her five year old brain could think of. Plus, she didn’t want her place on the alphabetical rosters to change.
She went to public schools—something Tony never missed an opportunity to mention he hated—and started paving her own way. Right now, that meant she was chasing a super-powered fight through the streets of Queens.
Since landing a highly sought after internship at The Daily Bugle, Y/N’s main priority had been impressing her overbearing bosses. That came with varying levels of complexity, depending on the superhero shenanigans of the month.
She rounded a corner into an alleyway, instantly ducking down when a blindingly bright object whizzed by her head. Her arms shot up in a protective motion as she leaned against the cool brick wall at her side. She remained there, frozen in place with a racing heart, for several seconds.
Something thumped to the concrete only a foot away from her crumpled frame, nearly making her jump out of her skin. She peeked through her arms, still crossed over her head, eyes widening as they landed on a pile of red and black fabric.
The lump groaned and slowly unraveled to reveal Queens’ favorite masked hero. He shook his head, the mechanical eyes of his suit twitching as if malfunctioning. Y/N was stuck in her spot, wide eyes hungrily drinking in every detail they could. Despite following his activity for months now, she’d never gotten this close to the mystery man.
His suit was tighter than she thought possible. It hugged his body in a way that left nothing to the imagination. The rippling muscles lining his torso were clearly visible beneath the thick material. She watched as he sat back on his heels and rubbed the side of his head, shoulders tensing as he seemed to finally realize that she was there.
“Whoa, hey.” Came his breathy, surprisingly high-pitched greeting. He cleared his throat before continuing, a steady hand extending her way. “Are you okay, miss?”
Y/N’s brow furrowed in curiosity, not missing the way his demeanor changed the moment he noticed her. It was like a flip switched. He’d turned on his superhero persona, a process she was unfortunately all too familiar with.
“I’m fine.” The words came out more forcefully than she’d intended, but she was all business now, too.
There was no way she was letting him out of her sight without getting some information. She wasn’t even worried about all the ways her bosses would kill her, she’d beat herself up enough for the missed opportunity. She ignored his hand, dusting her jeans off and hobbling to her feet before reaching for her phone to launch the recording app.
“Can I ask you a few questions, Spider-Man?” She jutted the phone out in front of her, and he took a step back as if the device would somehow hurt him.
The eyes on his mask widened, something she didn’t know was possible. “Oh. I...uh—”
Just then, the ground shook with a massive impact that couldn’t have been more than a block away. It would’ve knocked Y/N right off her feet if it weren’t for the gloved hand that shot out to stabilize her.
“Gotta go!”
By the time his hasty goodbye met her ears, he was gone. It took about ten seconds for Y/N to process what just happened before she took off running in the same direction he’d swung in. She was too far in to give up now. At this point, she’d settle for some shaky footage of the fight. It’d be enough to satisfy her editors for a few days.
She ran out in the street, stopping abruptly as a stampede of people swarmed her. Elbows and shoulders rammed into her sides as she tried fighting her way through the panic.
“Oh, come on people! Chill the fuck out!” She found herself shouting to deaf ears.
Maybe it was because she grew up immersed in the superhero way of life, or her bordering on unhealthy need to get some kind of story tonight, but either way she was aggravated by the public reaction more than anything.
She was rarely scared anymore, even when faced with imminent danger. Admittedly, she didn’t have a good gauge for when she might be getting herself into trouble. Another thing she blamed her father for.
Her eyes remained trained on the sky, watching the fight unfold in mid-air. She cringed as Spider-Man nearly fell off the homemade-looking flying suit. He quickly regained his balance, shooting a web into one of the back engines. It immediately started sputtering as the metal clanked and caught in the sticky substance.
They were going down, and fast. She knew this was probably her last chance to get any kind of discernable footage of the event, so she reached into her back pocket for her phone. It was at this moment that someone decided to shove into her so hard that she lost her footing and tumbled to the ground.
A rush of air left her lungs as she hit the asphalt, hard. She couldn’t help but wince as pain shot up both of her arms. There would definitely be bruises she’d need to hide later. Thankfully, at least she ended up near the curb so she wasn’t instantly trampled to death by the screaming crowd.
She pushed herself up into a sitting position and huffed, wiping away the tiny rocks that were now embedded into her palms. She was about to hobble to her feet and call tonight a wash when her eyes landed on a blueish-purple glow coming from a nearby alley.
Maybe she wouldn’t get any useable footage tonight, but a souvenir would lift her spirits and, hopefully, her credibility in the office. Without wasting anymore time, she stumbled to her feet and ducked into the darkness of the cramped space.
She followed the pulsating light, stopping only when her eyes landed on a small, metallic object. It had a thin silver cage protecting what looked like a gem or rock of some kind. Nothing too crazy, aside from the whole glowing thing. Her brows furrowed with curiosity as she crouched down to get a better view.
She had absolutely no idea what it was, and she’d seen a lot of weird things in her dads workshop. The only thing she could compare it to was some of the alien technology that’d been leftover from the Battle of New York. She’d run a few stories about that herself, plus saw her dad tinkering with some things since Thor took Loki back to Asgard.
Figuring she could show it to him at the very least, she pulled the end of her sleeve over her hand and grabbed it. She let her bag slip off of her shoulder and quickly unzipped it before sliding the object inside.
Just then, the sound of screeching metal filled her ears at a deafening volume. She managed to close her bag before covering her ears and ducking against the brick alley wall. The crowd still surrounding the area screamed in horror.
She watched with wide eyes as the huge bird-man landed on the rooftop just a few feet away from her crouched form. It was the closest she’d been to the masked—villain? She wasn’t sure—and he was far more intimidating than she’d first assumed.
His glowing beady green eyes didn’t so much as glance in her direction as he slung Spider-Man over the edge of the building, the tip of one of his wings wrapped around his throat.
An involuntary gasp tore through her chest.
It wasn’t that she was worried about the hero. For one, she knew he was more than capable of fending for himself. It wasn’t even that she cared if he got hurt. He was mostly an annoyance to her, his illusive nature making her job way harder than usual.
But if she knew one thing in this moment, it was that the bird-man was the bad guy, and she couldn’t let him win.
So, she did something really stupid.
She found the closest thing that she thought might actually do any kind of damage—which was, unfortunately, an old bike helmet next to the dumpster—and chucked it at the pair.
It hit one of the metal wings with a pathetic clink and all three of them froze.
Y/N held her breath as the man’s head turned in her direction slowly. Way too slowly. Like ‘I’m going to really enjoy killing you’ slowly.
After that, everything happened impossibly fast.
“Hey! Watch out!”
She barely had time to recognize the panicked voice before she was flying. Her stomach flipped and she couldn’t even scream, overcome with sudden vertigo. She pinched her eyes shut the second she saw the top of a building and clutched onto whatever was carrying her away.
If it was the weird bird guy, she accepted whatever evil plan he had. But, if it was Spider-Man, she was going to kill him.
It must’ve only been seconds before her feet touched solid ground, but it felt like an eternity to her. The moment she felt the stability beneath her, she began fighting against her captor.
“Let me go! Oh my god. If you don’t put me down right now—”
“What the hell—ow!”
Once she was free, she staggered away from him with a huff. She cleared the hair out of her eyes and bent over, resting her hands on her knees as she attempted to catch her breath. Her heart was pounding wildly and her stomach was still doing summer-salts.
She raised her eyes to send a withering glare toward the masked man. “Never do that shit again.”
He stared at her—at least she assumed—for a long moment before taking a step forward.
“What the hell was that? You could’ve gotten yourself hurt.” He gestured wildly with his hands, clearly agitated.
“That’s one way to thank me for saving your life.” Y/N ground out, sounding way more bitter than she would’ve liked.
“Saving my—” The eyes on his mask narrowed incredulously. “You did not save my life. All you did was distract me and put like ten other people in danger.”
She couldn’t help but scoff. “Please. Spare me the morality speech, Spider-Man. We both know you don’t bother worrying about people like me.”
Y/N was all too familiar with how superheroes think. When they’re in the middle of a fight, all they care about is winning. They usually have a bigger mission to accomplish. One that doesn’t concern itself with the lives left behind.
“People like you are all I worry about, trust me.”
With that harsh declaration, a heavy silence fell between them. Y/N clenched her jaw tightly, biting her tongue to prevent the floodgates from opening. Spider-Man wasn’t the only one who deserved her hostility toward superheroes, he just happened to be the one in front of her now.
Instead of speaking her mind, she turned on her heel and stalked away from him. At this point, it was late. The sun had set and her dad surely knew she wasn’t home when she promised. She had to accept that today just wasn’t her day and head back for some damage control.
Peter, feeling his chest tighten with regret for the way he’d snapped, followed closely behind her quick steps.
“Wait!” She actually stopped, something he wasn’t expecting, so he rammed right into her back. His hands quickly wrapped around her biceps as she spun around. “Sorry. I’m sorry. I, uh...”
He didn’t know what to say. This was the second time in one night he’d run into her, but he was still dumbstruck. The circumstances weren’t ideal. He thought he’d lost her earlier, but then she had to go and put herself in danger.
He took a step away from her, dropping his hands and rubbing at the back of his neck nervously. He had to remind himself that she had no idea who he was. Even if he did embarrass himself—like he usually did around her—she wouldn’t know it was him when they saw each other in the halls come Monday.
“At least let me get you home.” He insisted, feeling bad that he’d indirectly kept her out so late.
Y/N pursed her lips, immediately wanting to accept his offer but trying not to give too much away. Truthfully, she was exhausted. She just wanted to get home and deal with the fallout disobeying her curfew would bring so she could get some sleep.
“Alright.” She sighed, pulling anxiously at the straps of her bag. She knew this meant she’d have to swing through the streets again, something she wasn’t nearly ready to do.
Nevertheless, she allowed Spider-Man to walk toward her. She averted her eyes as he wrapped an arm around her back and tried not to let her breath catch when his gloved fingers skimmed the exposed skin of her lower back where her shirt had ridden up.
Warmth enveloped her as his proximity settled in. Under his mask, Peter’s face was burning. This was by far the closest he’d been to his classmate. Or any girl, actually. Not wanting to think about it for a second longer, he shot a web toward a nearby building and followed the directions Y/N yelled out.
Within minutes, they landed on the helipad outside her front door.
Peter felt his stomach drop with realization once he let his eyes wander around the outside of the huge building.
“Oh my god. Is this seriously where you live?” He cleared his throat after squeaking out the question, not necessarily wanting to give away his shock.
“What?” Y/N scoffed teasingly. “Don’t I look like a spoiled rich girl?”
“That’s not—I wasn’t—” He didn’t know what he was trying to say, honestly. There were endless questions flitting through us mind at warp speed.
If she lived here, at the Avengers Tower, did that mean she was one of them? And he just hadn’t met her yet? Or did she work for Mr. Stark? But she was so young. He guessed she could be an assistant or something. Maybe she worked for Pepper? Or Happy? Or, she could—
Y/N rolled her eyes, deciding to spare him the embarrassment of sputtering any more. “My dad is famous...like helped form the Avengers famous.”
Peter’s mind went blank. He wasn’t expecting that.
“Cap?” It was the first name to spill out of his mouth. “Wait, can he even have kids?”
Y/N couldn’t help the giggle that escaped her at his assumption. “He totally can, but no.”
“Oh.” The gears of his brain started turning again and realization slowly dawned on him. He felt his throat run dry as his eyes widened behind his mask. “Oh.”
Shit. This was way worse. He couldn’t believe he had no idea who she really was. Sure, she used a different last name at school, but he should’ve seen the resemblance sooner.
“Look, I know you two have worked together.” Y/N sighed, thinking back to all those weeks her dad was gone fighting Steve and the rest of his friends for no real reason. “Can you just...not tell him about this?”
Peter’s brows furrowed in confusion. Why wouldn’t she want Mr. Stark knowing that she’d been with him?
Either way, he agreed, since he had a favor to ask of his own. “Only if you won’t.”
She gave him this dumbfounded look, and he knew he had to elaborate.
“He made me this suit before the whole thing with Captain America, so I thought he would keep giving me missions, but now it’s been months and he won’t return my calls. I’m lucky if I get through to Happy. He doesn’t want me getting involved in this stuff, so...”
It struck Y/N then how weird it was to hear a superhero talk about her family so casually. It didn’t seem possible that the two of them were in the same circles. Sure, she’d practically grown up with a few of the world’s most famous heroes, but somehow Spider-Man was different.
He was local. And elusive. A pure mystery to her.
“What exactly is this stuff?” She thought back to the weird glowing object in her bag, having almost forgotten it was there.
“I don’t know.” Peter shook his head, seemingly defeated. “I thought it was just neighborhood stuff, but those guns...I’ve never seen anything like it.”
“Alien tech.” Y/N said without hesitation, although she wasn’t actually positive that’s what it was. “My dad has some in his workshop. It was leftover from the Battle of New York.”
“How does it work?” Peter found himself asking excitedly, easily pushing all the other revelations from this conversation to the back of his mind.
“I don’t know.” She admitted, looking away from him as her chest tightened with emotion. “I’ve never gotten close enough to any of it to see. He likes to keep me out of things too...”
It was at that moment, as a breath of silence settled between them, that they realized she was still in his arms. Y/N’s face erupted with heat and she quickly pushed herself away from him. Once her feet were back on the ground, they both stepped backward to create some much needed distance.
“I, ah...better get back...”
“Yeah, yeah. I have to go too...”
They looked at each other for a few long moments. It was at if neither of them truly wanted to separate, but knew they had to. It was clear, though, that they’d just formed some kind of connection.
Y/N felt something strange—and wildly inappropriate—brewing in her chest. A certain kind of attraction toward the masked hero she’d never considered before. It appalled her, honestly. It wasn’t like she hated the guy, but she certainly didn’t like him. And she had no idea who he was. He could be eight years old, for all she knew.
With that realization, she turned on her heel and stalked down the narrow entrance to the Avengers Tower, her face still burning. She heard the thwip of Spider-Man’s webbing and knew he’d be gone if she looked back. So she didn’t.
She pressed her hand against the touchpad outside the front door and quickly slipped inside once it recognized her prints. She sighed heavily and let herself fall back against the door, the comfort of home enveloping her.
The peace was short lived, however, as she caught sight of her mother waiting expectantly behind the bar to her left. With a glass of red wine in hand, her knowing gaze shifted from the helipad outside to Y/N’s stiff frame.
She took a slow sip, eyes narrowing over the rim of the glass.
“You’re so grounded.”

karasuno boys spending christmas with you 🎄
;tw// christmas (?), santa ig, extreme fluff, shoplifting, underage drinking, violence, ennoshita, kinoshita and narita exclusion 😞
Tumblr media
(a/n): ik the gif isn’t hq but look how cute it is (○` 3′○). also i’m aware that i wrote a rather western-washed version of Christmas (despite the characters in question not being western) but as someone of an asian ethnicity, imo western traditions surrounding Christmas are a lot more..festive (?) which i hope that isn’t offensive considering that Christmas was popularised by the west. so, in short, sorry the traditions aren’t those that are celebrated in japan (or asia) but i just found it i had a lot more inspiration to write it this way. :) perhaps i’ll make a part 2 with aoba johsai or nekoma celebrating Christmas with japanese traditions
Shōyō Hinata
you spend christmas at his house bc he wants to be with his sister on the day
and any sibling that you live with, he insists that they stay over too
but if you don’t have any younger siblings then y’all just spend the whole day spoiling natsu
hinata absolutely adores how well you get on with his sister, it just makes him so happy seeing his two favourite people having fun together
although, it did make him a bitter when he asked natsu if she likes the doll he bought her and she said,
“Yeah, thank you. But look at the Furby (L/N) got me! It’s pink and so fluffy, feel it! And it talks, it’s eyes move and-” Then she continues to rave on about how amazing your gift was.
honestly, y’all spend the whole day pampering natsu; making sure she has the best christmas possible
y’all made gingerbread cookies with her, helped her built a snowman (or rather, a snowwoman because she insisted that it was a lady), snowangels, opening presents, christmas crackers, watching movies - the whole shabang.
probably the only time in the day were she was sad was at 10PM when hinata insisted that she goes to bed
natsu looked at you to back her up in her argument that she should be allowed to stay up late on christmas but you kinda just stood there like 🧍‍♀️/🧍‍♂️
not wanting to get involved in their family drama (unproblematic liege 😍😩)
eventually though, natsu did go to bed and as soon as she was sound asleep, you and hinata spent the night cuddling while watching more christmas movies as you were both too tired to do anything else
you ended up falling asleep in his arms and it was a christmas miracle that his arm didn’t get pins and needles like it usually did while cuddling for a long period of time
Tobio Kageyama
i’m a firm believer that he doesn’t celebrate christmas
not that he doesn’t like the concept, it’s just doesn’t understand the hype
plus - other than going to nationals - there isn’t much he wants and from what he knows, santa can’t make that happen
but as soon as you come over to his house on christmas day with a tub filled with cookies shaped and decorated like volleyballs, suddenly christmas is his favourite holiday
he invites you inside to eat the cookies with him and you notice that he’s watching a volleyball match on the TV
you giggle at how passionate he is about about the sport and offer to cast a Christmas movie from your phone onto the TV
he says yes since this is probably the 10th time he’s rewatched the same match
you scroll through the list of christmas movies available on Netflix, “Wanna watch Arthur Christmas?”
“No.”
“How about the Grinch?”
“Eh, no.”
“Ooh! What about the Nativity? I love that movie-”
“No thanks.”
So you ended up watching Frozen and Frozen 2 (on a different streaming site) because Kageyama didn’t like any of the Christmas movies available on Netflix
You figured that Frozen kinda counted as a Christmas movie because..there was snow :)
anyway, you already knew Kageyama tolerated Disney Movies so Frozen was your best bet
and as it turns out, he was oddly engaged by the movie which gave you an opening to slip into his arms, stifling an evil snicker the whole time
as we all know, when Kageyama is into something he is into it.
so whenever the climax of the movie comes up (or any part with high suspense) you feel him squeeze you slightly and tense up
AND IT IS THE MOST ADORABLE THING PERIODT 🥺😩
so yeah your christmas with him is not overly Praise The Lord but it very fun and cute since it mostly consists of Disney movies
(also Barbie: A Christmas Carol because it gave you both overwhelming nostalgia since he has a big sister who i now headcanon to be a barbie movie addict ✋)
Kei Tsukishima
the biggest grinch™
mostly bc every year he drops hints to both his mum and brother that he wants new headphones but every year he still gets a snowglobe from his mum and something dinosaur related from his brother
even though his brother is aware that he is ‘too old for that shit’ now
but Akiteru just loves seeing his brother’s pissed off face whenever he opens his gift (which is a similar size to a headphones box) to find something like a Jurassic Park Lego set
anyway, backstory over - in short, Tsukishima very much dislikes Christmas
So when you appear at his door with a gift, he slams the door closed
“Tsukishima!” You roar as that was quite rude - even for Tsukishima - since it was snowing and you were clearly freezing, “Let me in! I’m freezing my tits off out here!”
Eventually, he did let you in and gave you a hot chocolate as an apology but as soon as you tried to hand him the give, he refused to take it
“No.”
“Why not?” You whined, clearly upset that he wouldn’t take the gift you went through so much effort to get your hands on.
“Because I didn’t get you anything.”
You rolled your eyes, “You got me this hot chocolate - now, take it. It’s seriously not much.”
Upon eyeing the wrapped box in your hand, he realised it was about 9x9″ - the same size as the tub you usually deliver food in, meaning that the gift was probably some sweet treats
“Alright.” He sighed, accepting he gift as he figured that he could easily pay you back by making Christmas cookies with you or something
He hummed, delicately unwrapping the gift and his heart skipped a beat as he noticed the present inside was in a black box rather than a clear tub which you normally gave homemade treats in
nevertheless, he persevered in unwrapping the box
when he finally finished, his heart dropped yet he couldn’t help but feel overwhelmed with joy
“Wireless headphones.” He muttered to himself, doing everything in his power to resist the smile tugging on the corner of his lips but it was challenging, to say the least
“Yeah!” You chirped, “Don’t worry about the price though, I got them on a Black Friday sale.” You lied, aware that it was usually considered rude to talk about the price of a gift you’ve given but knowing if you didn’t say anything, Tsukishima would assume you paid full price (which you did smh) and immediately empty his bank account in order to pay you back
You could almost envision the situation already; “Would you like it in cash or cheque?”
“Neither, Kei!”
“You seriously got me branded headphones?” Non-imaginary Tsukishima asked, unable to pry his eyes off the long-awaited gift in his hands
“Y-Yeah.” You stuttered at his unusually sinister voice. “I wanted to buy you noise-cancelling headphones and Google said these were the best ones available that weren’t selling for millions of y--”
“I love you.”
You did a double-take, “Huh?”
“I love you.”
You did a..triple-take.. “I-I don’t think I heard you correctly.”
“I’m not saying it again, dumbass.”
now, tsukishima wasn’t a very affectionate person but considering you paid full price for headphones (yes, he knows. you’re not a very good liar 😐) for him, the least you deserved was forehead kisses
plus, he was determined to make you as happy as you made him that day
so can get all the kisses you want, all the hugs, all the cuddles, all the smiles, all the cookies-  everything!
but that’s not to say that he’s not going to get you anything in return as subtly through the day he was gathering info on what to get you
by the end of it, he had a whole list but unfortunately - after looking at his bank account - he realised that the only thing he could afford was an easy-bake oven (┬┬﹏┬┬)
Tadashi Yamaguchi
y’all spent Christmas at your house because Yamaguchi was absolutely entranced by your massive Christmas tree
he also slept over because you both wanted experience the Christmas morning buzz together
also because your parents were working on Christmas day and Yamaguchi didn’t want you to be alone 🥺
(he didn’t tell you that though as he didn’t want you to think that he felt bad for you or anything)
after you both completed you morning routines, you raced downstairs (quite literally raced; you won.) to open the presents
the milk and cookies you both hand left out for ‘Santa’ was gone because your parents chugged the milk and scarfed the cookies before they left for work
“Open the presents I got you first!” You urged Yamaguchi, pointing to the two presents wrapped in Sanrio wrapping paper
Yamaguchi did so; sitting on the floor cross-legged to open the larger, box-shaped gift first
“Candy!” He chirped with a smile, gently shifting through the selection of sweets you got him, his grin stretching as he did so and once he was finished, it was beaming ear-to-ear. “You know me so well, thank you so much, (L/N).”
You giggled, a light blush crossing your features at the praise - then motioning to the second, smaller, thinner gift.
Yamaguchi accidently tore the wrapping paper off to reveal basic, charcoal face masks.
You quickly interjected to explain, “You said that you were embarrassed about how the animal-themed face masks your mum bought you were too childish and that they just made your skin more oily so bought you those; less embarrassing and supposedly good for oily skin.”
Yamaguchi’s heart fluttered upon hearing how much attention you paid during his random rants, “Thank you, babe!” He enthused, hugging the mask to his chest.
After that, you opened the gift he bought you and were over the moon when you realised that it was a box full of adorable stationary
“I noticed how you kept complaining about your pens running out of ink during class and..yeah..I hope you like it..”
You obviously loved it and expressed that by giving him a big bear hug and many kisses (づ ̄ 3 ̄)づ (*≧︶≦))
By then, it was around Midday so you had time to play in the snow for a bit before Yamaguchi had to go home to spend the rest of Christmas with his family
but of course he came back on Boxing Day to binge watch movies and cuddle with you 🥰
Daichi Sawamura
okay; I am going to say this and you aren’t going to argue with me bc I know that I’m right:
if you have any younger siblings or cousins staying in your house for Christmas (and I mean younger like 5 or less) and the kid isn’t a little shit
daichi (with your assistance) will dress up as Santa and you will dress up as an elf to surprise the child with a visit
daichi would be like ‘ho ho ho!’ and you’d be like ‘shut up, santa, you fatass.’
and the kid would be like ✪ ω ✪
y’all would take pictures and shit before santa dips 🚶‍♂️🛷
after that, you both would head back to his place to celebrate a kid-free christmas
you don’t open gifts because you both mutually agreed not to get anything for each other this year since you had ‘grown out of presents’ (tsk).
but you did get a RingFit Adventure from one for your relatives for Christmas so you and Daichi spend an hour or two playing that
it’s surprisingly taxing though so you’re both puffed afterwards
so you decided to make spaghetti for yourself and Daichi and a Christmas miracle occurred..he got off of his ass to help you cook 🤩
usually he’d hide his fear off fucking up under toxic masculinity but today he actually let you teach him how to make food and he was a natural chef tbh
however, his habit of grabbing your ass or holding your lower back wasn’t especially helpful while he had tomato sauce all over his hands
you changed into a different pair of bottoms as the spaghetti cooled down
then, a second Christmas miracle occurred
Daichi gave you both permission to eat in the living room, on the couch, so y’all could watch a movie or something as you ate
every other day of the year, daichi would have to be killed before he let anybody eat in the living room - forget on his new couch
but today was a special so he let it slide
originally, the plan was to watch a Christmas movie but then you noticed that a new episode of y’alls favourite show was out - House Hunters - so you just watched that instead
hey, it made you both happy so why not?
especially with daichi’s running commentary which you outwardly expressed annoyance to but internally loved
“Andromeda will never be Suzanne, rest easy.”
“That house is so ugly, next.”
“Why’s their budget so low? May as well just buy a caravan.”
“They are so fucking picky.”
“Her face annoys me.”
IT LIKE HIS ALTER-EGO IT’S AMAZING
anyway, merry christmas to the daichi stans and that is from me, not daichi - he actually forgot it was Christmas at noon
Kōshi Sugawara
SUGA IS DOMESTIC LIKE DAICHI BUT MAKE IT ❄ FESTIVE❄
y’all bake christmas cookies together, exchanges small gifts, bake carrot cake, watch The Polar Express, bake pudding, kiss under the mistletoe, bake-- yeah, there was a lot of baking
get ready to work out twice as much and start dieting if you don’t want to develop an illness due to the amount of sugar you consumed
to be honest, Suga was kinda lost for things to do on the actual day of Christmas bc y’all were so hyped preparing for it so he had no idea how to top that
I mean, you both went on romantic, late night car drives to buy a tree
cute couple trips to the store to purchase decorations
planning out and putting the decorations around the house (and with both of your keen eyes for design, the house ends up looking gorgeous ofc)
you ornamented the tree in his living room but it was so tall that he couldn’t reach the very tip to put the final decoration on top
so you hopped onto his shoulders and stuck the star on top with a smile
but he wasn’t done with you yet, he rushed around the house with you on his shoulders while you clung onto his hair as if your life depended on it
he did most of the festivities with you before Christmas but he saved one special one for the day
“(Y/N), let’s bake something.”
You sighed, shooting him a weary smile, “Suga, we’ve been baking all day.”
“Just one last thing! It’s not even baking actually, more like assembling.”
You quirked an eyebrow at his statement, “Hm? What is it?”
“Let’s make our dream houses with gingerbread!”
Of course you agreed. Not just because he is the cutest thing you’ve ever laid your eyes on but also since it sounded rather fun
“What are those?” You pointed to the weird rectangular designs on the roof of his house
“Solar panels.” He hummed, elegantly icing the sides of his house, “I want my future house run on that energy.”
“Anyway, what’ve you got on your house?” Finishing off the final swirl on his door, he turned to look at your gingerbread home and deadpanned
A sheepish grin formed on your lips as you noticed his blank expression towards your ‘dream home’ which has walls garnished with golden, edible glitter and sugar paper sanrio characters on the roof along with many other extremely unconventional things
“Hey,” you shrugged, “Let me have my dreams.”
“Of course,” Suga agreed, his usual sweet smile returning, “Although, in an ideal world, I thought we’d end up living together and starting a family. However, I don’t think we can do that if you planning on putting a horse head on our front door.”
“IT WAS JUST LYING THERE, KŌSHI! IF ANYTHING IT’S YOUR FAULT FOR GIVING ME ACCESS TO A MARZIPAN HORSE!”
“I DIDN’T THINK THAT YOU’D DECAPITATE IT, (Y/N)! I THOUGHT YOU’D USE IT FOR A STABLE OR FARM OR SOMETHING!”
“YOU SHOULD KNOW ME BETTER THAN THAT!”
Asahi Azumane
you both spent christmas day in your respective households, promising each other that you’d spend boxing day together
until around 7PM when you had to come over to his house bc he called you, extremely puzzled at the fact that random mutuals from school (and the whole volleyball team) were on his instagram page, facebook, snapchat and any/every other social media platform wishing him a happy birthday
“I don’t get it.” He spoke through the phone, confusion and anxiety apparent in his voice, “My birthday isn’t for another six days. Why do they think it is today? Is this a joke?”
“Uh, can I come over? I’d love to see you.”
“Um, sure.” He replied, even more confused that you didn’t answer his question and instead asking one yourself
you spent the rest of the day with him, trying your very best to distract him from social media by doing various activities
you both baked, watched movies, played board games (he’s a beast at battleships) then you moved on to other games like charades - basically every bs excuse you could come up with to get him to stay away from his phone
but that’s not to say you didn’t enjoy every second of it bc you did
he is so cute like whenever you are doing an action which he can’t interpret, his automatic guess is ‘are my beautiful gf (Y/N) (L/N) who i love very much? (= ❛ ᴗ ❛=)’
PRECIOUS 💓
and then you are just like, ‘yes, i am, baby. but i am also optimum prime. your turn.’
anyway, by the end of the day there was no way you were able to prevent him from finding out about the joke now
so you just decided to tell him - figuring that it’d be better for him to hear it from you rather than someone else
“See.. y’know how jesus was allegedly born on christmas day? well, the joke is that..you kinda look like what people assume jesus would’ve looked like..”
Asahi had to do a double-take at what you just said, “Th-they..think I look like jesus?”
“yeah.”
Ryūnosuke Tanaka
you’re both broke af so you spend Christmas day pretending you are a rich couple
you slept over at his house too so you could start early in the morning and by that I mean 10:30AM
firstly, you and tanaka flick through an Argos catalogue (which you found on the ground, so there were a few mud stains on it 😶) to select the gift(s) you were going to buy for your ‘children’
but really it was just you and him going through it and circling all the toys y’all wanted as kids but couldn’t afford/didn’t get
“I super badly wanted one of those kiddie monster trucks that you could control with a remote as a child so my son is going to need one of those.” Tanaka said, circling the monster truck with a marker
“Yes, of course. And I asked for Monster High dolls every year as a kid but my parents said they were everything god hates so let’s buy that because we stan satan in this house, apparently .”
“Of course, of course.” He said in his best ‘rich person’ voice which was actually just an english accent
After resenting your parents for around an hour, you both moved onto the next activity of your rich person Christmas which included reading your horoscope in an english accent
that only lasted a few minutes though because both of you couldn’t be bothered to read
you also planned to look at the stock market (just like all rich people do on christmas day, obvs) but it was so boring
you took a glance then just went ‘okay, bye.’
next, you had caviar - just like rich people eat for every meal of the day, i think.
except it was actually black pop rocks
“ah, yes. scrumptious.” “the flavour is immaculate.”
then, as dawn drew close, you and tanaka preformed your final rich person activity
no, it wasn’t being rude to minimum wage workers
no, it wasn’t being ungrateful
no, it wasn’t exploiting the working class under capitalism
no, it wasn’t being generally stuck-up and cocky
instead, it was going to the grocery shop and buying everything rather than shoplifting :)
“what should we get, babe?” you asked tanaka, in awe at how many different brands of toilet paper were on the shelves. “Have you ever noticed how spoiled we are for choice when it comes to toilet paper?”
“uh, no.” he replied in reference to the toilet paper question, “Hm, how about some gingerbread men or something?”
his suggestion was just met by a blank stare and silence
“JUST KIDDING! WE’RE TOTALLY BUYING BOOZE!”
“Hell yeah!”
luckily, because tanaka looked a lot older than 17 and also since the cashier was too tired to check his ID, you both managed to buy the drinks without getting caught
“Merry Christmas, Ryū.” You hummed, fidgeting with his hand which was interlocked with yours as you walked through a rather prestigious neighbourhood and admired all the extravagant christmas lights
“Merry Christmas, (Y/N). Love you.”
Yū Nishinoya
you and noya spent the whole day in his backyard and since it was a white christmas, you were able to spend the 90% playing in the snow
at first, you both went outside with the intention of making snowangels and taking cute couple photos in the snow
but the weather was just so inviting that you had to stay for a little longer even when you did finish taking pictures; so you made the ‘ultimate’ snowman
by that, it was just the biggest snowman y’all could make without it falling apart with stones for eyes, spiking out twigs for hair and an empty Monster Energy can for a nose
once you had completed the snowman and basked in it’s glory for a moment, you went to head inside - but then you felt something hit your back
you turned around to see noya snickering, a mischievous grin on his face which you couldn’t stand
so what started out as him playfully throwing a snowball at your back, eventually turned into a full-on snowball battle to the death
there were snow forts, piles of snow ammunition, mini snow-warriors guarding the edges of your fort, a snow-princess which you were trying to steal from each other’s fort to win (basically like capture the flag but colder..) and a few brunch bars in the middle of the battle field for snack breaks
it was all going smoothly until Noya ran up to your base, obviously with the intention to steal your princess
“stay away from her, you fiend!” You yelled, jumping into an offensive stance - your neighbours must hate you bc of all the noise you and Noya made.
Noya screaming his battle cry as he rushed towards your fort, batista bombing you to the ground before you had a chance to attack him with a snowball
now that you were out of the equation, he scurried over to your princess which was perches on a little snow podium you made for her
he grabbed it, lifting it above his head like a trophy and letting out a loud victory cry “I win!”
he then turned to you and laughed upon noticing that you had your face buried into the snow in shame, “You have been defeated, (L/N)! And the great Rolling Thunder prospers!”
“That’s a stupid nickname.” You groaned, outstretching your arms to allow him to pick you up, “Now take me inside, I’m tired.”
“Alright, babe.” He spoke softly, seemingly coming down from his adrenaline high.
He strolled towards you, scooping you up into his arms - off the snow - and carrying you inside
unbeknownst to him, you had fallen asleep as he held you and once he put you down on the couch and noticed- i- my man almost died of happiness
“Oh my god, (Y/N)! You’re so fucking cute! (❤´艸`❤)” he hollered, peppering your face in kisses
“Shhh..” you hushed Noya, sticking your bottom lip out to form a pout
Noya nodded understandingly before hopping onto the couch beside you and snuggling up

“will that be all, commander?” you questioned. your workday was drawing to a close and you wanted nothing more to get your nightly escort home and wind down from yet another stressful day at the office. the nightly ritual had begun not long after you got this job and befriended the coruscant guard, some of them sticking a little closer to you during the day when possible.
but only one ever walked you home, claiming that the streets he worked to protect every day were no place for someone so… unsullied, he would say, guiding you home with a steady hand on your back and a smile hidden by his bucket. his soft laugh would bring yours bubbling to the surface like a simmering pot of homemade soup, nourishing your soul and leaving you full of joy and… something else.
thoughts of one of said guardsmen had you zoning out while fox was talking, very likely giving you another task to complete before the people you’d need to go to left for the night. you had spotted him over fox’s shoulder from where you stood several feet from him, having a gentle conversation with hearth and a few others. it made you so happy to see him bonding with his brothers this way, getting the attention and care he deserves from those closest to him.
fox notices the distracted, glazed look in your eyes and knows that you’re not hearing a single word he’s saying. looking over his shoulder, he’s quick to realize why: achilles. “that’ll be all,” fox assures you with a hand on your elbow before turning to take care of the task himself. he can give his younger brother this much happiness, what little bit he’s able to get. “get home safe.”
ever since he joined the guard, fox worried for achilles. he was too headstrong, had seen too much in so few years that he wasn’t going to let this assignment beat him into the submission that allowed many others to cope day to day. it would have made his life a little easier, fox believed, but it would have also made him believe he was unworthy of the joy found when with you.
when you’re dismissed, you make a beeline to where your trooper stood bucket in hand, a gentle smile gracing his lips. maker, he looked so young when he smiled. you’d do anything to keep that smile on his face. lacing your fingers with the hand not holding his bucket, you smile at him and his eyes are immediately caught by yours.
achilles was the first to speak, hand squeezing yours as he felt himself ascend to the stars when you smiled at him. “are you ready to go, cyar’ika?” hearth notices the way some of the weight rises from his vod’s shoulders when you’re nearby, the smile he wore a bit more genuine.
“i’m more than ready, ‘chilles. it’s been a long day and i’m ready to be home.” he nods and bids his knowing brothers a farewell for the next while. until you got to your front door, every iota of his attention would be devoted to you and only you; the way your bright smile alone could power galactic city, the sparkle in your eyes when he said something that brought out your laughter. he’d walk every kilometer of this planet if it meant he could keep seeing such unbridled joy radiate from you.
but these moments — these little pockets of time where he was someone more than who he really was, yet nobody significant all the same — would tide him over until the next one arrived with the same inevitability as waking in the mornings.
conversation was a swift river, flowing freely within its confines. there were things you both believed should never be said; they served as the riverbed, the bounds within which conversation flowed. everything else, the things you were allowed to say, were the water. they were powerful and clear in intention yet stayed within their bounds. the two of you floated along it with ease, letting the currents sway you however they willed. there was never anything to fight against, never with him.
he recounts the day’s most notable and happy events (a shiny’s codpiece detached while trying to rescue a tooka from the top of a vendor’s stall, and hearth was glitter-bombed when trying to give fox dinner) with his usual spark of animation, leaving out the darker events that always serve as reminders of his harsh reality. you don’t need to be tarnished by his sadness, the daily struggle he and his brothers face simply because of the circumstances of their existence. that wasn’t your fight to take up arms in, not your sadness to feel.
no, he couldn’t dim your light with his permeating darkness.
it’s why he still hasn’t kissed you the way his lips ached to, why his hands haven’t held your hips as he tasted your honeyed smile for the first time.
you told him of the menial tasks that had been made more than you bargained for when you stumbled onto two maintenance workers snogging in an elevator, the small muffin that was gifted by the commander of the 420th on his way to the office of his senator friend, and the way it paired well with your lunch. achilles hung onto every word and the way he could hear your smile in every syllable, saving it for lonely nights when he needed something to distract him from himself.
the thing about time is that when you don’t pay attention to it, it’s quick to make haste with its passing.
sooner than either of you would have enjoyed, the door to your apartment was in front of you, a beacon of home tinged with an afterglow of loneliness that seemed to never leave. yes, all of your belongings were here and your bed was housed within those walls, but none of those things made it a home. something was missing, but exactly what that something was had yet to be discovered.
his hand fell back to his side, the sight of your door a reset button to his decorum. your hand was colder without his in it, you noticed for the first time. you didn’t like knowing this and desperately yearned to get that warmth back immediately despite the fact you were walked to and from work by the man in front of you every day and it’d only be a few hours until you’d feel it again.
you couldn’t wait hours to hold his hand again, to be surrounded by his radiance in all its glory. in a bold move you never thought yourself capable of, you extended an invitation you’d mulled over for weeks.
“i’ll, uh, see you in the morning—”
“would you like to come in?”
achilles was stunned. why you would want to invite him into your home? this place was your sanctuary, your respite from the workday and from all expectations the world thrust upon you. he didn’t believe himself worthy of such an honor, but only a fool would look a gift blurrg in the mouth.
so he followed you inside slowly, eyes flicking around the entire space to drink up everything he could. this was an opportunity to know you better, to see you at your most comfortable. “welcome to my humble abode, make yourself at home.”
there was a soft-looking blanket draped across the back of your couch that he imagined you curling up under on cool nights spent watching holofilms. photos of you and your friends covered the walls, smiles bright and abundant. there was a bowl of fruit on the kitchen counter that he was eyeing and you were quick to notice how his attention was drawn to it. “you can have some, if you’d like. i have plenty to share.”
how were you so generous with what you had, being so willing to share everything you owned in this vast galaxy with a clone? better yet, how were you real?
a pink lady apple was snagged from its former resting place and relieved of a bite-sized chunk. achilles hummed in enjoyment of the sweet-tart flavor that invaded his mouth as he joined where you sat on the couch, hand patting the space beside you. he obliged and was able to wedge himself between you and the arm of the couch but only when he leaned a little closer to you than he would have ever dared to outside of this safe haven.
you two sat in almost-silence for a while (achilles was still enjoying his apple, after all), a small bit of his weight pressing cozily into your side with one arm resting on the back of the couch. to be honest, you weren’t sure what to do now that he was here. so much time had been devoted to how you’d get him inside that there was not even a vague idea as to what you were supposed to do now.
the armor he wore did nothing to ruin the coziness of the moment, still being able to enjoy his company and the comfort his presence brought you. it was a big reason you felt so safe when walking home (besides the fact he had a blaster and was very proficient in wielding it). his apple core was soon the only thing left and it was gingerly set upon the endtable beside the arm of the couch he was close to, but after that there was stoicity.
neither of you knew where to go from here.
you turned to face him to ask if he wanted to watch a holofilm the same time he turned to ask you whether he could have another apple and wow you’d never been that close to his face before.
achilles drank in the proximity like a parched man on tatooine, branding the image of your slightly blushing face into his retinas for later enjoyment. then you laughed softly and he was a goner, an honest to maker goner. he was going to say something, he swears he was, but it slipped his mind for the moment. you were too busy biting your bottom lip and letting your chin fall, depriving him of those eyes he saw every time he closed his.
he couldn’t have that.
his fingertips took your chin, lightly lifting it back to the angle it formerly was posed at, where he could see your eyes and the smile behind them. in turn, your eyes were flitting between his eyes and lips that you were positive weren’t that plump before… were they?
then he pulled your chin ever closer and closed the vast centimeters that had kept you apart.
you weren’t sure how your lips had been able to resist the magnetic pull of his for so long now that they were together. truthfully, you had no clue how you were going to pull apart now that you knew what they felt like against yours. it was sweet velvet bliss, the taste of him. the pink lady mingled with something else that you knew had to be all him and oh stars was it intoxicating.
pulling away? since when was that an option? if it hadn’t been one before, it became one when you needed to breathe again. his lips chased yours, desperate to keep the blessed point of contact that he’d never wanted with anyone before you. the intimacy had your mind spinning.
he liked it, he actually liked it. he genuinely enjoyed that kiss and was wanting to continue kissing you, and who were you to keep him waiting? the magnetism won yet again and as he pulled you into his arms, you could feel him smiling into the kiss and you smiled back just as lovesick as he did.
muscles were slowly beginning to notify you of a dull ache caused by an angle you were unused to. you ignored it until feigning ignorance was no longer an option. it was time to move.
leaving the living room was an olympic effort. what if the boat in your river grew holes the moment one of you rose from the couch? how would you save the boat and not get washed away by the current? the answer was simple: get a bigger boat.
armor was shed and sleepclothes changed into before you guided him to your bed where you opened the blankets up for him, beckoning him ever closer and into your waiting arms. any hesitance was nowhere to be found as he crawled into the bed and wrapped himself around you. once he was under, time was taken to find a comfortable way to sleep. comfort was found with surprising ease, like he had been climbing into this bed for eons instead of seconds.
the change in environment did nothing but allow you closer to each other, nothing being damaged like you had both feared. in your bed, under your blankets and on your pillows, he still tasted of the same pink ladies and honey and clove he did on your couch. he still held your face in one trained hand that had known little more than violence before you came into his life.
as you carded your fingers through his hair, his other hand being held tenderly to your lips with all the affection you could muster, the final piece came together. achilles was what your apartment was missing, the building turning into a home at long last.

a/n: LARGELY INSPIRED BY "KEYS" BY @holland-ish !!!! her imagines are super cute so go check them out haha
summary: y/n can't remember to grab her keys, peter misses the old days with you, and may baked extra cookies
warnings: i'm mad at myself for writing this bc i want this really bad. also cussing. wouldn't be an imagine of mine without some COLOR!
Tumblr media
+ + +
"shit," you mutter, flicking a strand of hair out of your face as you dig through your backpack, looking like a maniac as you rummage around your bag outside your apartment. you lose your temper and upturn the bag, its contents flying out and decorating the wooden floor of the hallway.
no keys.
a groan falls from your lips and you shove everything back into your bag with little care about organization, standing up and huffing as you stare at the door. the sound of the lock jiggling doesn't give as you harass the knob, cursing yourself for forgetting your keys the one time your parents went on an anniversary vacation.
you run through all your options: fire escape? no, your window was locked anyways. key under the mat? not with your superstitious father. the parkers?
you lean your head against the door as you stare at the one across the hallway, cute woven welcome mat you knew for a fact that may had created herself.
the parkers had lived in hallway 300 of queenswood apartment complex as long as your family had. you and peter grew up together, never necessarily best friends, but close enough to wrestle for fun and go off into your own world every time there'd be an "adult gathering." close enough to spark little hints of love between the two of you, the first crush that you never forget. aunt may was practically your second mom. nonetheless, as the story goes with all neighborhood kids, the two of you began to drift as you entered middle school, each becoming busier and more involved with extracurriculars.
it didn't mean you were completely distant, though. you were there when peter had just gotten his powers. literally- that trip to the museum was odd, to say the least. and you were the one hugging him along with may after his uncle ben had died, the shoulder to cry on that made him feel so weak yet so loved at the same time.
as high school came, so did less free time, but still the string between the two of you was never split. sometimes you'd leave for school at the same time and walk together, feeling a slightly awkward yet comfortable air between the two of you as you were jostled on the subway. you'd say hi in the hallways or at least give looks of acknowledgement, or share moments from across classes. especially this year, the two of you would go head to head in playful debates about interpretations of to kill a mockingbird. and, of course, may would constantly say hello every time she saw you, as well as tease peter after every said occasion, claiming that "y/n is still single and ready for you to make a move," which always elicited an annoyed and flustered groan from the boy.
you were still y/n and peter was still peter.
sucking in a breath, you take the few steps across the hallway, raising your hand and knocking gently on the door. your eyes widen when you realize you'd subconsciously knocked the pattern you and peter came up with as kids; a signal to each other that the other one wanted to play.
peter perks up. he gets off his bed, sticking his head out the doorway and peering over at the door. may, having also noticed the special knock, gives peter a smug look before walking over and opening the door. the sight of you makes peter quickly vanish from the doorway and run back to his bed in an attempt to act as if he totally didn't get a wave of excitement and curiosity over those few gentle knocks.
"y/n!" may smiles, opening her arms in a welcoming gesture, wrapping her arms around you just as she did every other time. "how are you? what brings you here?"
"hi," you laugh, a hint of anxiety lacing your voice. "i'm good, but i, uh, kinda forgot my keys and my parents don't get back until tomorrow morning."
may's eyebrows raise, her mouth forming an 'o'. she begins nodding.
"that's right- they went on their anniversary vacation!"
you chew on your lip and watch as she turns her head, glancing in the direction of peter's room. peter, laying on his bed and furiously scribbling physics notes, fails at his attempt to not eavesdrop.
"well, you're welcome to stay the night here," may lowers her voice with a grin. "i'm sure peter wouldn't mind having you in his room again."
you gasp slightly, laughing and hoping to god that peter didn't hear it, silently thanking god that he wasn't there to watch the roses bloom on your cheeks.
obviously, the boy's heightened powers deemed your hopes hopeless, his expression unknowingly matching yours as he drops his pencil. his face burns as he realizes that he'd likely be met with your face in a matter of seconds, and he frantically searches the bed for that godforsaken pencil.
"hi."
peter's head flies up, wide eyes meeting your familiar gaze. his face burns.
"hi."
you half-succeed in biting back a smile, slowly walking into the room and fiddling with your fingers. "my, uh, my parents are out of town until morning and i forgot my keys, so i-"
"right or left?"
in those three words, the tension flies away, your face lighting up with nostalgia and warmth. you drop your bag, flopping onto the bed next to peter as he adjusts himself in front of you. giddy smiles grow on your faces as you sit across each other, legs criss-cross.
right or left was a game the two of you came up with amidst one of the get-togethers your parents had when you both were six years old and both totally sucked at truth or dare. if you chose left, whoever lost had to do a dare, and if you chose right, the loser had to tell a truth.
you won most of the time.
"left," you say, letting out a giggle. peter laughs.
you always said left.
peter reaches out, grabbing your left hand with his, the two of you moving your hands back and forth between you.
"one, two, three, four-"
"five, six- hey!" peter whines, jumping up.
"gotcha!" you laugh, standing up and poking at the boy's shoulders. "okay, uh... oh! i got it!"
peter buries his face in his hands, sketchers anxiously tapping against the floor in anticipation.
"you have to go inside and get us both cookies!"
"but aunt may just made them! she hates when i eat them right away," peter complains. he flops his hands on his sides at your expression, arms folded across your chest as you make the most intimidating face your eight year-old self could muster. "fine, but only for you."
you let out a squeal as he playfully tugs your ponytail and runs over to the kitchen, satisfied look on his face as he comes back, mouth and hands stuffed with homemade chocolate chip cookies.
"ready?" peter asks. you nod.
the two of you begin counting, the boy stopping at five as you keep going, mouth falling agape and brows furrowing when you notice he had halted. "no fair!"
"so fair," peter says greedily. "okay. i dare you to go get us both cookies."
a slightly amused gasp leaves your mouth and you remember all the times you'd dare each other to do so; may would make cookies practically every week. "fresh batch?"
"yup! chocolate chip," peter replies cheekily, expectant look painting his face. "i'll be here."
you glare at him playfully before quietly slipping out of the room, trying to act stealthily in order to avoid getting (lovingly) scolded by may.
it was no use.
"i knew it!" the woman whispers. she has the brightest smile on her face as she waves a playful finger at you. "it always happens."
may parker knew more about you and peter than you and peter knew about yourselves. every time the two of you hung out, you'd always play right or left, and one of you would end up sneaking into the kitchen to steal a few cookies. the woman even started baking them more often in anticipation.
you deflate, sighing and giving her a defeated look. "i'm sorry, may-"
"it's nothing, honey. take 'em and tell the kid you didn't get caught," she winks, handing you a few, even stuffing one in your mouth. she smiles as you walk back to peter's room, looking back at her and giving her a nod of thanks.
peter picks at one of his scrap pieces of tech, bright grin tugging at the corners of his lips when he sees you. "get caught?"
you shake your head and shove a handful of the cookies at him. the boy grabs them with an excited face, shoving one into his mouth in its entirety. the look on his face is identical to the one your six year old self had become so smitten over.

the hot gooey bite of bread, sauce, and cheese stings as it hits your mouth, a gasp exiting your lips as you pull the slice back.
"hot hot hot hot," you yelp, panting and sticking your tongue out to the cold new york air.
peter laughs at you and shoves at least half of his slice into his mouth while giving you a defiant look.
"they made yours first," you mutter.
it was just the same as it used to be.
when the neighborhood parties got boring, the two of you would sneak up to the roof of the building, giggling as you raced up the creaky fire escape. only a few stars were visible above the plethora of new york lights, but the sight of all the glowing building lights made up for it.
the two of you huddle together, legs swinging off the edge fearlessly and the smell of the pizzas may'd picked up radiating in the air around you.
"i missed this," peter sighs. you rest your head on his shoulder, the smell of him and his cologne making your stomach flutter.
"me too."

Her back was to the door, head buried in her knees, hair water-falling over her closed eyes as she took in shaky breaths. She wore a baggy navy sweater and ripped black jeans, and a hard pang seemed to take over her whole body, like a constant throbbing, dull, ache. She tilted her head up against the oak frame, chewing at her lower lip, thoughts swarming around her head like a thousand rampant bees.
“Hello?!” Caroline chimed from the other side of the wall, making her jump in surprise. “(Y/N), you okay? You coming?”
“Uh, yeah, fine,” she cleared her throat, groaning lightly as she pulled herself from the floor and to her feet, fingers trembling as she pulled open the silver knob.
“Everyone’s here,” Caroline smiled politely when she saw her, “we can walk together.”
The girl nodded, ignoring the way Caroline spoke with her underlying sense of pity for her, something most had taken to doing recently. Their knuckles brushed lightly against each other as they stepped across the dark floors, dark boots clacking and filling the silent corridor with noise. Before they entered the lounge, Care gave her a faint squeeze to her arm, and then they walked in together.
“Hey,” she said, eyes darting over the crackling fireplace, and thick red carpets which were sat upon by Stefan, Damon, Elena, Matt, Bonnie, and…
Her gaze fell upon the boy with his hands curled in his lap, legs crossed, head lifting when she entered, those blue eyes looking just as ashamed as they had the first time she heard the news.
“One week without being attacked by vampires, wolves, witches, ghosts, or whatever hell beast this town has seen, come celebrate!” Elena said cheerfully with a big smile.
“New record,” she laughed lightly, strolling to the table and sinking down beside Stefan and Matt.
The golden red flames sent shadows over their faces as Damon approached them carrying just a couple of his many bottles of alcohol with an eager wink.
“What shall it be?” Matt said, sliding an elegant glass to the girl.
“Oh, nothing, thanks,” she tried.
“You sure?” he raised a brow.
She gave a nod, and Matt glanced at her suspiciously. He seemed to know her feeling more than anyone, the one of being the only human in the group, a human who’d been thrown into this whole messy world of the impossible, which means he did well with looking after her, even though they all did.
“We should drink once for every supernatural monster we’ve faced,” Elena chuckled as she stole Damon’s glass with a giggle.
“That would be one hell of a list, we’d be drunk in two minutes,” Damon said, taking his drink back with a playful shove.
“My particular favorite would have to be literal Satan,” Stefan chimed in with a twitch of his lips, making them all laugh.
“Yeah but those witches have to be the most annoying, am I right (Y/N)?” Kai said sarcastically, eagerly trying to pull a smile from her lips.
“You couldn’t be more right,” she said, her voice lowering seriously, brows knitting in clear unamusement
Kai’s face fell, and he gave a little awkward clear of his throat.
Bonnie, who sat beside him, shot the girl a glare, her dark curls framing her aggravated face.
“Don’t listen to that,” Bonnie soothed.
‘Oh, so I’m a ‘that’ now, am I?’ the girl thought to herself as she toyed with a loose string on her sweater.
“I don’t need you to defend me,” Kai hissed back, which made her feel only a little better.
She felt a hand touch her back, so she raised her eyes to the vampire who sat next to her. His glimmering gaze stared forward, arm lowered beneath the edge of the table so nobody could see. His palm pressed to her back, and he rubbed his thumb against her with the smallest tilt of his head that told her he was there for her.
“Thanks,” she whispered barely audibly, but she knew Stefan could hear her.
It had been a couple weeks since her whole world had come crashing down on her. Malachai Parker, the person who she’d loved with every particle of her being, who she would do anything for, who had promised to fight for her like she would for him, had crushed her beating heart into shattered fragments in a matter of seconds. She didn’t know where she went wrong, what made him do it, but apparently she wasn’t good enough, but Bonnie Bennet happened to be. She could remember it so vividly, the utter regret in his face when he cried to her, the tears that flowed down his pale and sunken face.
“I’m s-so sorry, I wanted you to hear it from me first, because after what I’ve done, the least I can do is be honest with you…”
Her eyes had glazed over, the rest of his muffled pleas for forgiveness sounding like they were coming from underwater. She hadn’t cried, not in front of him at least, because she wanted to seem like she wasn’t hurting, like the person who gave her will to live hadn’t just set her spiraling and gasping for oxygen. But he had.
“Food’s ready!” Caroline skipped into the room, vamp speeding around and filling the table with colorful delicacies of her homemade cookies, casserole, potatoes, macaroni, and various other things.
The aroma filled the whole room up, and while the mystic falls gang dove into the food like rabid animals, the girl clutched at her stomach, instantly feeling sick from the sight before her and the smell that filled her lungs. Everyone stacked the goods onto shiny silver plates and filled the room with chatter, but she just couldn’t bring herself to touch the food. Her eyes flickered over and caught to the forlorn looking heretic’s bright blue ones. He stared at the plates and then back at her, and repeated this look a couple times before the realization dawned on him. He knew her, he knew her so well that there was no doubt in his mind she had no intention of eating.
“Hungry?” Elena nudged the girl out of her daze and picked up a plate.
“I’m fine,” she responded with a forced smile.
“C’mon, you’ve barely touched any of this stuff all day,” Elena cooed.
“I’m fine,” she smiled.
She hadn’t touched any of that stuff all day, not really all week either, not really all month, but nobody seemed to notice, not except-
“You should eat,” Kai soothed quietly, like his whole life depended on her doing so.
“I said I’m fine,” she fired back softly.
Kai’s head sunk, “that’s what you always say.”
“Excuse me?” she flared.
“Am I lying?”
“Shut up, Malachai.”
He grimaced, face scrunching at the word, one she only used when she was really upset, ‘Malachai.’
The group were starting to notice the quiet feud between the two, Bonnie looking especially displeased, to which Kai muttered softly, “may I talk to you a minute?”
She didn’t want to, but not doing so would risk Kai opening his mouth too much, so she gave a long sigh and purse of her lips, “outside.”
Bonnie opened her mouth, then decided better, the two brushing past the now quiet group and into the empty corridor.
“What?” she snapped the second she turned to face Kai.
He was wearing a ripped jean jacket over a black tee, brown locks pushed smoothly atop his forehead, his arms folding.
“That’s all you have to say?” Kai said.
“What do you want me to say?” she swallowed the lump in her throat and diverted her gaze from his.
“Don’t think I haven’t noticed, I’m not stupid. It’s gotten worse, and you always wear those sweaters so nobody will notice,” he said, sounding genuinely hurt.
When she didn’t respond, he raised his fingertips to her arm, his silver rings gliding over her flesh and raising goosebumps.
“Don’t,” she muttered, pushing his hand away.
He shook his head, “please.”
“Why would you care anyway?” she looked back at his sad blue eyes.
“Stop doing that,” he begged softly.
“Doing what?”
“Isolating me, talking about me like everything we had together before just vanished when I…” he trailed off, taking a deep breath. “I made a mistake, okay?” he said, voice breaking as a tear rolled down his cheek. “And I’ll hate myself for that forever, just like I’ll love you forever.”
Her heart raced, jaw set as she trembled lightly beneath his gaze.
“But even though I fucked up and lost what was most important to me, whether you ever forgive me or not, I need to know you’re alive. And at the rate you’re going at, it won’t be too much longer,” he wept quietly. “So please, I’m not asking this for myself, but I could never handle it if I just stood back and let it happen, you need to take care of this, and I want to help you, (Y/N). I already lost you once, I don’t think I could do it again.”
He brushed her cheek lightly, the contact making her shiver, his expression softening, “I’m begging you.”
She wiped roughly at the tear that had escaped her eyes, giving a loud sniff and tiny nod, “okay.”
And she didn’t stop him when he pulled her into a hug, she nuzzled into his neck, his hands sliding into her hair and holding her to him like she would sink if he let go. His familiar and warm scent embraced her, and she didn’t try to stop when she cried this time.
“I don’t know how to do this,” she whispered, pulling away, her eyes red.
“Can I?” he started.
She lifted the edge of her sweater, and Kai’s face dropped, his breath coming suddenly heavy when he saw her underfed front and her ribs that stuck out. He’d seen this before, but never like this, never to this point, and it strung a chord within him.
“I’m gonna help you get through this, I promise,” he squeezed her hand, his eyes wet.
“I can’t do this alone.”
“You won’t.”
. . .
After enough time had passed that they’d regained their composure, they gave a nod and entered the room together again. The group was a little tipsy, huddled before the fading orange embers, their bellies bubbly with alcohol and food.
“You’re back,” Damon gave a faint smile, “done clawing at each other’s throats?”
“Think so,” she smiled faintly.
“Shame, I’m gonna miss the reserved and mopey act,” Bonnie grumbled.
“What?” the girl laughed nervously, pushing a strand of hair behind her ear.
“I said,” Bonnie started, “you’re little heart broken facade to get everyone to take pity on you because of Kai.”
Her heart sank, cheeks flaring red as her fists balled tightly at her sides.
Kai brushed his fingertips lightly against her hands, “breathe.”
So she did.
“Nothing to say?” Bonnie snapped, “now you choose to be quiet?”
“Please, stop,” the girl hissed through gritted teeth.
“Why? You and Kai suddenly go back to the way it was bef-”
“She said stop,” Kai warned, his eyes darkening and voice dropping the way it always did before he snapped someone’s neck.
“There’s more to it than you know, okay?” the girl stammered softly.
“I’m pretty sure I already know everything there is to it, thanks,” Bonnie said.
Stefan, Damon, and the others all watched in silence, though none of them seemed keen on aiding Bon, in fact any one of them looked just about ready to snap a neck or two.
“Can we just stop talking about this?” she begged.
“Sure, until the next time Kai does something stupid and breaks you all over again,” she challenged, her jaw set.
“I’m going to say it,” she whispered.
“You don’t have to,” Kai squeezed her palm gently, Bonnie’s eyes catching the gesture.
“Say what?” she snapped. “Do i-”
“I’m sick.”
The whole room went dead silent aside from the crackling fire which chewed hungrily at the burnt logs.
“What?” Caroline breathed in shock.
“I’m sick, okay? I can’t eat, or when I do, I can’t keep it down. I’ve been in so much pain recently but I didn’t want to drag anyone into my own mess so I just didn’t say anything,” she rambled, turning to Bonnie, “is that what you wanted to hear? That I was in the hospital the other week, or that I have no energy and yet I’m doing this to myself?!”
“(Y/N),” Bonnie said softly, instantly feeling ashamed of herself.
“I don’t know how much longer I can do this before….” she trailed off, eyes falling to the soft red carpet.
“I’m going to help her,” Kai said.
Everyone stared blankly at them, then, after a moment of silence.
“Me too.”
Caroline had piped up softly.
“Me too,” Stefan said.
“And me,” Elena chimed.
“All of us,” Matt nodded.
“Guys, it’s okay,” she reassured.
“No it’s not,” Elena murmured, “we’ve been so focused on everything happening in our lives and in Mystic Falls that we were letting this happen.”
“It’s not your fault.”
“And it’s not yours either,” Matt soothed.
Bonnie stood, her lower lip trembling  “I’m so sorry. I shouldn’t have said those things, I’m so so sorry. Not just for this, for everything. I was so angry at myself that I was trying to project my shame onto you, when I should’ve been there for you instead.”
The girl nodded, “it’s okay, why not forgive two people today?”
“(Y/N),” Bonnie said.
“I want my best friend back, Bon.”
“Me too,” she smiled weakly.
She felt Kai’s rings brush her hand, and then his fingers were laced through hers, comforting and familiar like she’d remembered. Then he brushed his thumb over her skin, his blue eyes feeling like home when he looked at her, and suddenly she wasn’t so scared.
