ngl like. bard 30-50 was where it peaked for me. I do like the squabbling and dynamics between sanson and guydelot, but the stuff with jehantel resonated with me more

#I don’t mind the guys they are fun #it’s a nice story and I see that people like it #i dunno I just enjoyed jehantel more #his all consuming remorse and inability to move past his actions in the past #his searching for someone not to pass down these fancy archery tricks to #but to pass down song and stories and to use those to aid your allies in battle #him coming to terms with his actions and loss by the same skills he forsoke #it’s personally a more enjoyable narrative to me #I do think him and eyrie are more of companion and colleagues rather than mentor and student #they share their stories and the songs with each other #spending time with him was one of the reprieves eyrie had in ARR #he knows the songs of eyrie’s youth in the mountains #the ones their father taught him. the ones their mother taught them #it’s an important part of eyrie’s culture and it’s so so precious to have them share that with him #I’m mushy but yeah #30-50 bard hits
