5 hc game: an au where Izuku is a Sohma (from Fruits Basket)

Izuku is born during the year of the rabbit and he is OVERJOYED to have such an useful quirk! Sure, having to hug a girl every time he needs to use his power is a little embarrassing but it's perfect for stealth mission.

This is an AU where Katsuki and Izuku are friends because Izuku is ridiculously cute and fluffy when he is a rabbit and if people are mean, he doesn't let them pet him.

Izuku still gets OFA and for some reason, can immediately use it at 100% but only when he is a bunny. To avoid the bone breaking, Izuku has no choice but to bunny up. The Todoroki vs Midoriya fight at the Sport Festival was the funniest thing ever.

Izuku doesn't realize that his quirk isn't a quirk until UA, when Aizawa uses Erasure on him. Izuku doesn't change and keeps doing whatever mischief he was up to.

It's on Inko's side of the family so Tomura is also a Sohma. He turns into a corgi, which is used as a recruitment tool. Half of the League got recruited because they followed a doggo back to a creepy warehouse;

Another day with restless kids who want to be hero’s, famous colleagues, and stressing over papers to grade.

As much as you like to say you’d hate it, you couldn’t find it in your heart.

You looked at the clock as it continued to tick down time until it was time for you to go back to work.

You were in the break room enjoying a small lunch that you were barely able to pack this morning from how fast you were trying to rush out of the door.

You let out a content sigh, and picked out the bag of chips from your bag, grimacing when you notice what they are. “Ah shit.” You cursed under your breath.

Cheetos, and not the good ones, just the normal plain ones, you hissed angrily at the blatant orange packs with the tiger staring back you, mockingly.

Throwing the fifth back into your lunchbox, suddenly the break room door opened to reveal colleague, and crush.

You suddenly became aware of your posture and appearance, smoothing out your hair before he shut the door with a grunt. He turned to look at you, his bright eyes lighting up. “Hey! I didn’t think anyone was in here! Sorry.” He chuckled nervously.

Acting like you didn’t know he was even there (you did) you smiled, “it’s fine, how’s work going?” You asked before taking another bite of your sandwich.

He sat down, and pulled out his lunch box, you immediately noticed it was all might themed.

“It’s going fine, the kids are super excited for the hero stuff today.” He responded, while opening his lunchbox, revealing a beautifully prepared bento.

Before you could stop yourself you asked. “Did you make that?” He looked up slightly suprised, the apples of his cheeks glowing. “Uh yeah.”

You began to flush to, you didn’t mean to embarrass him if you did, “Sorry! I didn’t mean to make you feel weird about it.” You quickly apologized.

He looked up once again and then chuckled, “you didn’t, it just uh, kinda embarrassing when your lunch is all might themed.”

“I don’t think it is.” You responded softly, you didn’t think anything he could do would be embarrassing in your eyes, considering your infatuation with him.

His scarred hand stopped midway, “yeah?” He asked for confirmation. “Yeah.” You confirmed.

He smiled and then continued to reach for a small sausage in his lunch box.

Izuku was so interesting to you, he was so open but so shy at the same time, there was so much you wanted to know about him.

You looked back up from your bland sandwich and to him, he was focused on getting another bite of food.

“Izuku.” You called out, he looked back up awaiting for you to speak again.

“Have you ever gotten everything you wanted?” You asked.

It was melancholy, the way his eyes softened, the way his body un-tensed in an almost instant.

“No—but I got really close.”

He responded, you continued to stare at him, his eyes holding some withheld sadness, as if he wouldn’t allow himself to feel it.

You didn’t fully understand, but you weren’t dumb, you’d always noticed it.

There was a time in your career, highschool to be exact, where izuku was everywhere, fighting along side his peers, at some point you began to admire him, because he was always so much stronger than you thought you could ever be.

But you weren’t dumb.

You noticed how he’d look at his friends.

The want, no, the need to be equal again.

Something feral and carnal inside him, even an idiot could notice it, how badly he wanted it.

How sad he looked when he knew he couldn’t.

Honestly you felt like it was torture, sitting him down in the very same classroom that got him to the point he’s at now.

But you knew he didn’t feel that way, everybody knew that.

Because even though he wasn’t equal, and how badly it hurt to have what he wanted most snatched away from him right at the cusp of his life.

Everyone knew he didn’t regret a thing, and that’s why you admired him so much.

Bakugou Katsuki and Izuku Midoriya (MHA): they're amazing as a ship in their own right but as characters their both so deep and interesting with many layers and nuances interlaced between them.

Mikage Reo (Blue Lock): aside from easily getting attached to characters the fandom hates for no legit reason *coughs in Bakugou and Takemichi* he's literally the most perfect, precious cutie patootie. Not only that he's WIFE MATERIAL which is something instantly found attractive about him, the things I think about OMG (๑♡⌓♡๑)

Dante (Devil May Cry): I was fifteen and he was the coolest video game character I ever saw. Couldn't tell you which of the games tho, only watched and commented while my brother played. I did watch a few episodes of the anime but it's been so long I don't remember if I liked or hated it.

Ryomen Sukuna (Jujutsu Kaisen): We love a chaotic king, like yasss bitch, kill those innocent civilians yayyy!!!

Draco Malfoy (Harry Potter): Blond and bitchy just the way I like em.

Sano Manjiro (Tokyo Revengers): How are you the best fighter but oozing such bratty bottoms energy I love him!!!

Lloyd Frontera (Greatest Estate Developer): The only taskmaster I'd willingly serve, they call him ugly I call him 'Sir'. Maniac???where?? All I see is a man trying to get his bag and be happy.

How does being a hybrid work for you guys? Are all of you half/half kind of hybrids (say half cat/half dragon), or is it more of an amalgamation of a few things? (1/4th this, 1/4th something else).

How does being a hybrid affect each of you? Are there any particular "quirks" or abilities specific to your species?

Does anyone have multiple forms? What does everyone's forms look like [if that can be described]? Are there any people who [form-wise] lean more towards visibly non-human than others [example would be maybe your head being shaped similar to your dragon side, than a human-shaped head]

Hello anon, thank you for your question! We will try to explain how things work in a way that makes sense to everyone! We have quite a few hybrids in our system, so this question is fantastic to get!

So, starting off, we have 2 main types of hybrids that are in our system: Formed Hybrids (those who formed in as hybrids) and Forming Hybrids (Alters that formed relatively human but gain hybrid forms as they discover more about themselves or are influenced by media.) Our hybrid alters function like normal sentient beings, they are able to walk (mostly on 2 (two) legs), talk, etc. like normal human-like beings would be able to but with the parts of said hybrid.

We have 1/2 (half) hybrids, 3/4 (three-fourths) hybrids and 1/4 (quarter) hybrids!

So, take Shinsou for example, he is 1/4 (quarter) Big cat (unsure what big cat) and 1/4 (quarter) bird of prey (unsure what B.O.P,) and 1/2 (half) human. Or take the triplets (Tiger's Eye, Topaz, and Quartz) for example, they are 3/4 (three-fourths) dragon and 1/4 (quarter) human. The triplets kind of resemble dragonbornes from Dungeons and Dragons.

Being hybrids affects us in a few different ways, like shedding, molting, etc. and we tend to have some mannerisms of the animal(s)/creature(s) we are hybrids of (i.e.: Kacchan (wolf hybrid) sheds and tends to stay around those he considers his 'pack.') (i.e.: Toga (fox hybrid) sheds and likes to burrow in heaps of blankets or even snow.)

We also have some "quirks" that come from said animal(s)/creature(s). (i.e.: Dragon hybrids can breathe fire/lightning/ice/etc. depending on the type of dragon.) (i.e.: avian hybrids can fly, have good eyesight, etc.)

All hybrids have multiple forms whether it be Human-like (mostly human with a few animal/creature features (claws, teeth, animal ears, etc.)), Anthro (Slightly human with more animal/creature features (snout, paws, etc.)), or Full Form (Fully animal/creature like (i.e.: I (Izuku) can turn into a full rabbit/bunny at will.))

There are way too many hybrid alters for me to unpack what they all look like in this post, so don't be afraid to ask about specific ones! We will make a list of all hybrid alters in the coming days, so watch out for that if you have questions on their forms specifically!

Bass Beats

       This couldn't be real.

       Kirishima couldn't be this lucky.

       According to the poster proudly hanging from Mina's hand, his favorite band was not only in his province, but they were looking for a new bassist. Everyone had since heard about the scandal in which their last one had quit, so it was only a matter of time.

       And she'd just broken into his garage. Where he was sat next to his amp and microphone. Playing his bass.

       "You're kidding me," he gasped, carefully setting his instrument next to his stool and reaching for the paper. "You're kidding!"

       Mina rolled her eyes and tried to hold it out of his reach. "You can keep saying that, but it's not going to make it suddenly true."

       Considering she was a good five inches shorter than him, even her best attempts were futile, and he snatched the paper from her, beaming at the colorful advertisement. It featured a familiar sight: the drummer and the lead singer going at each other's throats, the other band members playing in the background, and the details for the audition tucked into the corner. "No way! Mina, this is so awesome!"

       "Uh, duh," she grinned. "Why else do you think I brought it to you?"

       "Ah, these will be so cool to watch! I can't wait to see who gets pick--"

      "Woah there tiger," Mina growled. "Who said anything about watching?"

       He blinked. "Huh? What else am I gonna--"

       "Audition, you big dummy!" She whacked him over the head. "I present you with the opportunity of a lifetime, and you say 'cool, I'll pass?' What the hell?"

       Kirishima winced, his heart sinking under her expectation. "Mina, it's not like I'll get picked. What's the--"

       "Try, you moronic, hair-brained, oaf!" She snapped, stomping forward. She picked up his bass and packed it into his case with practiced ease, snapping it closed and hauling it onto her tiny shoulders by the strap. "Try, so that someday you can say to your kids, 'yeah, I met Midoriya Izuku and the Groundbreakers. Auditioned for the band and everything. I got pretty damn close, and even left with the band's autograph and a shitload of good memories!'

       Despite her passionate speech, Kirishima's mouth became a hard line. "I'm not going to cuss at my kids," he argued.

       Her eye twitched. "Take. The motherfucking. Guitar."

       "It's not a--"

       She slammed the instrument into his arms and jumped to grab him by the ear, yanking him painfully out the door. "Don't care, let's go, loverboy. I already signed you up."

       Kirishima wished he'd kept his mouth shut. As if incurring the wrath of Mina Ashido wasn't enough, she dragged him all the way through town to the audition. By his ear. And no amount of whimpering or pleading could convince her the let go until they were standing in front of the local performance hall. In front of them stretched a long line of waiting, anxious performers.

       It wasn't until she let go of his ear that he was able to think of a retort to her jab. "I'm am not a loverboy."

       It wasn't a very good retort.

       "Ri~ght," she grinned, fussing with the spikes in his hair. "And Bakugo Katsuki isn't the hottest drummer in Groundbreakers."

       Kirishima blushed faintly. That wasn't fair, and she knew it. It wasn't his fault the man had an Adonis body and the grace of a god. "He's the only drummer in Groundbreakers."

       "Your point? That still doesn't explain why there are posters of him all over your room."

       "Mina, I have posters of all of them in my room."

       "Yeah, but you don't have all the photoshoot covers of the others off their Instagram."

       "Hey!"

       "And his twitter. And the cut outs from magazines. And screenshots from the music videos."

       He had to move into her face as someone behind him tripped over the curve and nearly stumbled into him. He pushed out a mumbled apology as the hooded figure flipped him off in retaliation, before turning back to Mina. "Stop it, right now, or I'm leaving."

       He knew that was a mistake when she snagged him by the ear again and yanked him down to her level. "You wouldn't. You can't."

       "Lemme' go," he whined, his nerves getting the best of him. "I can't do this, I don't wanna!"

       "Yes you do, you're just being a baby about it."

       The bickering continued. In a way, it was helpful. It kept Kirishima distracted--

       Distracted until they were clearly at the front of the line. Some of the band hopefuls had since come out of the performance hall looking like some combination of depressed and terrified. A few minutes later, when Mina pushed him onto the stage of the makeshift audition hall, Kirishima saw why.

       Because in front of the stage, amidst three other people, reclined the one and only Bakugo Katsuki. His boots propped up on the table, a clipboard rested balanced on his crossed knee, and Bakugo glared at it with folded arms and the same scowl that leered back from every poster.

       To his left sat the band's keyboardist and their manager, Jiro Kyoka and Yaoyorozu Momo, looking put-out but professional. On his left sat Midoriya Izuku, the band's lead singer and co-founder, popping his knuckles like he really wanted to hit something. Their day didn't look like it had gone very well.

       Oh, this is gonna be bad...

       "H-hi--" Kirishima squeaked into the microphone, wincing with the others when it screamed at him. "S-sorry!"

       Midoriya's smile was strained, but he leaned forward and holy shit, Kirishima was actually in the same room as his favorite band. They may have been the same age, but these guys had struck it big before they'd even left high school, and now three years later, they were superstars and he was just... average. "Hi there. Can I have your name?"

       Kirishima jolted, though the direct question should have been expected. "Ah! Kirishima Eijiro." He tried to cover his nerves by slipping his case off his back as he kept talking at the usual rapid pace. "My friend signed me up and convinced me to come to the audition--dragged me here even. I get nervous. Still nervous. Probably shouldn't admit that."

       A heavy bang sounded in front of him and his gaze snapped to find that Bakugo had just slammed his head into the table with a groan, startling his bandmates. Midoriya stammered at him. "K-Kacchan, are you oka--"

       Bakugo's muffled voice reverberated through Kirishima when he growled. "If he rambles as much as you do, I'm leaving. This day has been shit--I'm ready to go home."

       "You took a break like two hours ago, chill out." Midoriya's concern suddenly became cold, and he turned back to Kirishima. "Ignore him, he's being an ass. You'll have to get used to it, if you're any good."

       Bakugo made a noise of disagreement.

       Kirishima chuckled nervously rubbing the back of his neck with his free hand. "I-it's no problem, really. I've been following the band since your debut, I think he's really manly. You're all really manly--" he watched Jiro mark something down on her sheet and wondered if he had offended her.

       Bakugo growled again, obviously in a worse mood than usual. "Start playing or get out."

       Playing. Right. He could do that. Playing was the easy part. He could smile as he floated away to his happy place, and pretend he was back in his garage. And because Mina hadn't given him any time to prepare he defaulted to one of his favorites, realizing halfway through (and far too late) that he was playing one of Groundbreaker's songs.

       And if he fucked it up he'd be going home, especially since Bakugo seemed dead set in glaring an angry hole through his bass. The blonde drummer grumbled something at Jiro, who elbowed him sharply in the side.

       Midoriya smiled kindly at him again when he'd finished, and he found himself returning the grin enthusiastically. "That was good, Kirishima. Thank you for--"

       "Where'd you get the sheet to learn that from?" Bakugo interrupted harshly.

       Kirishima flushed. "I didn't. I learned it by ear."

       Midoriya and Jiro both stiffened in surprise, but Bakugo scoffed. "By ear? The bass part? And you could hear that shit?" He turned back to Midoriya. "Do we even need a bassist?"

       "It's your fault we lost Monoma, you jerk!" Without turning, Midoriya smacked the blonde on the head with his clipboard, making Kirishima wince as he tried to stammer out a response. "I don't care if you only smashed a replica, you damn near gave him a heart attack and if I didn't have to suffer with you I'd say it serves you right!"

       "I-I have a friend!" Kirishima squeaked through the tension. "He's real into soundboards and audio editing and stuff, and he likes to pick apart songs and find the different instruments. He'll do all sorts of funny things with the tempo and notes, a-and he let me listen. A few... dozen times..."

       Bakugo only met him with the usual glare, holding his own clipboard up to Midoriya with a subtle middle finger. Midoriya ignored him entirely. "So Kirishima, what are your plans currently? Do you happen to know any of our other songs?"

       "Oh?" They wouldn't ask unless they wanted to know, right? Maybe he really had a chance. "Well, right now I'm kind of between years in college. Thinking of maybe changing my majors, but having a crisis about it. The usual attempting-adult stuff. Oh, and only... all of them..." he admitted.

       Midoriya laughed, which he took as a good sign. "So you'd be open to do a lot of travelling? Not a lot of weights taking your time?"

       "Dude, yeah."

       Holy shit.

       Holy shit.

       Was this happening? Was this real?

       For the first time since entering the performance hall, Kirishima's usual earth-shattering smile broke out onto his face. He saw Momo blink at him and Jiro cover a smirk as Bakugo suddenly choked.

       Midoriya grinned back with his usual expression. "Well, we've got a few more candidates to meet with today, but it was very nice meeting you, Kirishima. Actually, If you could maybe leave your phone number with Yaomomo there?"

       "Yeah!" Kirishima beamed, slipping his base back into his case and hoisting the strap over his shoulder. He hopped down the front of the stage and stopped himself from skipping over to Yaoyorozu. "Yeah, totally!"

       She supplied him with a pen and the back page of her notebook, where two other names and phone numbers were written. Competition, sure, but they'd auditioned at least a hundred people by now, and Kirishima had made a list of three. He had a chance, a real chance!

       He tucked a fallen spike shyly behind his ear as he handed her notebook back, and she smiled at him. Though Jiro elbowed her, and she sighed. "One more thing, Kirishima."

       He perked to attention like a puppy. "Yes."

       Yaoyorozu covered her suddenly sly smile with her notebook. "It's just a suggestion, but maybe you should redecorate your playing space. Before Bakugo breaks his nose tripping over another curb."

       What?

      Oh.

      Oh, no.

       Kirishima squeaked, sure his face had gone a deep shade of firetruck red. He wasn't alone, as Bakugo also looked a bit flushed, but that didn't stop him from stammering another thank you, turning on his heel, and booking it from the room. He snagged Mina's arm on the way out. "I hate you," he declared once they were out in the blinding sunlight.

       She rolled her eyes. "It wasn't that bad."

       "No, you weren't there, you didn't hear what she said to me."

       "Nope. Hey, how'd you do?"

       Kirishima paused. Took a deep breath. Allowed himself to hope. "I'm in the top three."

       "What?! Kiri, that's amazing!"

       "Oh, and they heard your jabs about my posters."

       "Oh--ooohhh..." She trailed off. "That's... not amazing."

       "I have decided to die of embarrassment."

       "I'm sorry?"

       "You should be. This is your fault."

       And it was. It was all Mina's fault.

       Because the next morning Kirishima woke up to a phone call, from Bakugo Katsuki himself, asking him (somewhat begrudgingly, though it may have been bashful) to join their band and demanding he show up for practice within the next hour.

       And coffee. The angry blonde asked him to go get coffee. Just the two of them. Next to the studio. The real studio. Alone. With a hot drummer.

    ��  God, he really needed to get Mina backstage passes for life at this point, didn't he?

BNHA “cringe interest” headcanons:

Hehe we’re back onto the “cringe” headcanons again. I love these so so much so please don’t mind my headcanon dump. (also half of these are just me projecting so- )

- Mina loves Littlest Pet Shop. When she was younger she’d pretend she could talk to her stuffies like the one girl could talk to the actual animals. When she’s older she still does this when she’s overwhelmed or just feels like it!

- Bakugou and Izuku have a beanie baby collection! Their grandparents had them and passed them onto the two of them. They’d trade and play with them, and honestly when they’re older they’d most definitely trade half of their fortunes for one of those rare ones.

- I was telling you earlier how I enjoy watching “childish” shows because I enjoy the simplicity of them, so would Tokoyami and Shirakumo and Midnight. Tokoyami’s favorites would be Daniel Tiger and Tangled: The Series, Oboro’s would also be Tangled: The Series, and Micky Mouse (he was a Disney kid apparently), and then Midnight’s would be some random shows from channel 34.6 (heh, numbers vary ig) or something.

- Aoyama would use glitter pens. He’s also really like scratch and sniff stickers, probably because there’s so many different things you could stick them on! She’d also use scrunches and hydroflasks. They’d also have a bunch of flip-sequins.

- Kiri. Everything about him screams Disney kid. (don’t mind me slipping in some transmasc Kiri btw) He’d adore Mulan for being so strong and “manly”. He’d sit and wish that he was brave enough to make himself look more like a boy, but then his moms noticed and let him do what he wanted with his appearance :D. He went to Disney land when he was a kid, and he was so confused by all the English but no matter. He still considers it the best day of his life!

- Todoroki and Denki and Sero radiate fidget spinners energy. They probably thought they were stupid when they first came out, but they tried them once and refuse to ever leave without one.

- Ochaco and Tsu were Gacha kids. And they were good at it too. They spend hours on their OCs and hyperfixate on making their videos to the best quality they can. Anyone who tells them they’re “cringe” get a nice king flight or a frog thunge sling shot.

- Also, Uraraka wears flip sequins as well.

- Also since people seem to consider Danganronpa as “cringe” I’m going to make it where the Rooftop Squad loved it. And, to make it better, they each liked one of the games more than the other. Aizawa liked THH the most, Midnight liked UDG most, Oboro liked the second most, and Hizashi liked the last one most.

- Izuku, Tokoyami, Hagakure, Ojirou, Kouda, all like to RP.

- And then, ofc, I can’t leave out the best one:

New au! Midoriya has a cat quirk! Ears as cat's ears, long fluffy green tail. Bakugou doesn't bully him like in canon, but he still bullies him. AM gives him OFA because he's like "what better to give my quirk to that a child who has cat like qualities?" Midoriya also has a fast healing quality because of the sun rays (like how cats sleep on windows with the sun shining?) Aizawa loves him and thinks he's problem child, but he can't resist petting the kitty ears same as Kaminari with his tail.

Cat baby who basically photosynthesizes? I love it! All Might meets a sweet child and adopts him instantly just like canon lmao. Oooh Izuku’s eyes going Silly Mode when he sees full cowl for the first time (and whenever he’s distracted by it after that). Poor baby would probably have scars on his ears and tail from Bakugo, Uraraka says they make him look fierce and he almost cries. He probably flinches away from being touching him at first, but when he gets comfortable around his classmates he likes when they pet him and he purrs like an engine.

Oh! Consider - he looks more like a big cat when he uses OfA, like the lines of power stretch across his skin like tiger stripes, his teeth get Massive and he gains the ability to roar. He goes from being full baby to lowkey terrifying and it's amazing.

Concept: Can Izuku Midoriya become a hero even though he’s seen as just a fragile rabbit. Bunny!Izuku verse but taken seriously as if in the MHA canon. While also sprinkling dfo. This chapter a set up.

Warnings: Bullying, Prejudice against Heteromorph, Children are mean to those different especially in Aldera. Mild but not severe Injuries.

Come can move mountains. Some can become mountains, they can breath under water, or do multiple things.

But if you look different it doesn’t matter what you do. You will never be a part of the masses.

“You can’t run forever Deku!” A familiar voice rang behind him as Izuku regretted his life choices.

His shoes have since been thrown off they only hindered him. His rabbit feet hitting the concrete as he jumps up as high as he could onto the fence.

Climb- Climb-!

His hands reach up but his arms were so much weaker then his legs as tries to pull himself over. Only to feel something grab his tail after hearing a blast.

“EEEEEeeee-!” A loud rabbit like screech escaped before he was yanked down right onto the floor. Obviously they didn’t catch him as he fell onto his back the pain just from his tail being yanked made him freeze up.

“First you try to show off during gym then you run off like a coward. You got a LOT of nerve,” Bakugou sneered, referring to how in gym he used his quirk to jump even farther Normal then Bakugou.

Apparently many considered his natural leg strength using his quirk thus ‘cheating’ as no one is allowed to use their quirk. The very idea that Kacchan lost to a cheater seemed to send him in a rage and now was out for blood. All because Izuku tried to be brave enough to TRY in one thing he might be good at.

“Have you been holding out? Did it make you feel good to make me look like an idiot you flea brained rabbit!” He sneers if he has been younger then Izuku is sure would have blasted him. But after realized fur burns marks can’t be hidden he improvises.

“I-I wasn’t trying to make you look like an idiot,” he squeaks only to feel him step on his ear earning a strangled cry. Clearly that was the wrong answer and he shut right up.

“It doesn’t mean shit. You are nothing more then a weak ass Deku. So don’t you dare fucking think you won it was a damn fluke. As I caught you easily,” he growls as sparks showed in his hands making the threat clear.

Stay out of his way or else.

Stepping off his ear it seemed Bakugou was satisfied at his trembling state. He wasn’t going to argue with him on it just shaking a bit as waited for the male to leave.

My name is Izuku Midoriya, I’m 14 years old and I’m the only heteromorph in my school. In a world full of super powers.

And what did I get? It’s literally a weak Rabbit.

“Ugggh, why couldn’t I have been something like a tiger or something not small prey animal related,” he covers his face as whines once the teen was gone. His leg twitches from agitation before he sits up and moves a hand to his injured ear.

There was blood.

“For someone trying to be a hero he toes the line a lot. He should know rabbit ears are fragile…..” he speaks but in a sense he was used to pain. Though he deflated looking at the space between his furry legs.

It wasn’t like he was naked. He was forced into a uniform, forced to even wear shoes as it wouldn’t be fair. It hurt.

While If he was pant-less it wasn’t like anyone would see anything really his fur was thick. But he isn’t about to find out if he won’t get in jail for public indecency even if the heat kills him.

His tail at least was free courtesy of his mom and dad taking him to a tailor. Downside there have been people who tried to touch without permission.

“I hate this uniform I could have outrun them…” he mutters as he picks up the stuff that fell out of his backpack. He hears the sound of something like a sonic boom and looks up.

Hoping he can see if it was All Might. All he got was trickle of rain….

Hhe should hurry home even if wanted to go back for his shoes it was too late.

The school is likely closed by now so will just have a to get home without them. The concrete was weird on his feet but he didn’t have paw pads despite popular belief. Just fur so it didn’t bother him too much as it allowed him to run on hot or cold without a sound.

Lot of good that does me when most clothing aren’t made with a rabbit bottom in mind.

To know your own quirk and yet can’t use it to its full potential. Being a Hero was both a dream and a goal to escape the confines of these restrictions. He could be like All Might or the new up and coming hero Mirko!

She was a rabbit based quirk too though hers are less Physical like his it was still the same.

It’s what gave him hope for the future. Despite the bleeding ear he is having right now.

Aw crap he can’t go home like this.

Mom will flip and ask who did it and if lies she would figure it out. Iif tells the truth Bakugou might get in serious trouble and life ruined this time. That damn idiot-!

“Uggghhh what am I supposed to do,” he groans and looks around before going into a public bathroom. Sure it cost a bit to get access but he can’t go home like this. Even if Bakugou deserves it he doesn’t want him to lose his chance for real.

It would feel like cheating if can’t even compete.

“Ok water, soap, bandages and napkins,” he whispers to himself as goes to clean his ear. Feeling the way it stings making him flinch as tries to make sure it looks presentable.

At least if covered can lie and say accidentally got caught in something. That was believable right?

His tail twitches just a hint before he stomps his foot feeling frustrated. Wondering why Kacchan can be such an idiot sometimes and if wanted to lose his chance of being a hero.

“Ok it’s fine. I’ll just…. Sneak into my room. Yeah that works fine,” Izuku sighs as goes to leave the room feeling pretty good. Holding his head up as tries to ignore the have the bandage made his ear droop from the added weight.

He wasn’t the best at first aid but he is still figuring it out. But it was passable and the rain seemed to have pass by.

“Mom I’m home-!” He calls out as entered his home out of habit. Which he instantly regretted as his mom pokes her head out of the kitchen.

“Izuku there you are! You’ve been worrying me half to death!”

His mom looked at him angry almost flabbergasted that he was so late. Only for her eyes to widen when sees his bandages ear.

“Oh no- Izuku what happened to your ear?” There was a sense of dread in her voice as the if realizing what has happened. He gives a sheepish smile as tries to not seem bothered even if the pain lingered along with the threat.

“It’s nothing I just got it slammed in something and had to have the nurse take care of it,” that was a believable lie right?

Inko did not look convinced if anything she looked more worried. The silence grew as she processed his words then slowly began to speak, “Izuku-“

He isn’t ready to see her pity him again.

“I’m fine! Don’t worry I got home work to do just make me a plate and leave at the door,” he speaks firmly as goes to walk pass his home red from embarrassment.

“Wait Izuku-!” she called out but he was already in his room throwing himself onto the bed. The sound of his mother grew quiet. Likely she understood at the moment he wasn’t feeling like talking.

Already he was stripping out of his uniform to go into the shower. Needing a deep clean after being grabbed and stomped in. Though he pauses as he looks at himself in the mirror.

The hero in his head never did match the hero he sees in his reflection. Dark green fur covered his legs that bend in the way rabbits do. His feet covered in fur with claws, and down his spine to where meets the fur was a cottontail. Green on top and white on the bottom.

His hands move up the side of his head through his hair before settling to the top. Where two rabbit ears laid one damaged by the assault a hint crooked but easy to fix. His hand instinctively flattens them against his head before sights.

“You got this. You can still be a cool hero,” he whispers to himself as clenches his fist. His words felt hollow but he says them.

Because this was his story and even if no one believed in him as long as he keeps trying then he can become a hero.

{ Authors Note; Everyone has their Izuku has a quirk or villain or whatever but no one ever tries to take a serious Izuku has a heteromorph/animal quirk. Mostly the bunny quirk it used for fun or less savory things. Which has it own struggles and prejudice as implied in the canon series. With Spinner and other heteromorph that aren’t heroes.

So I decided to take it into my own hands though this is more of a prologue since no hero or anything happens. I thought it be good to show Izuku backstory just a hint rather then implying it by going right to the good parts.

Bad Hair Day?

A/n- Hey! I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy! Hopefully these lighthearted head cannons requested by @bitweird1​ can help lift your spirits, even if by a bit!

A/n- These headcannons will be taking place a bit in the future, like the boys are pro heroes by now, but just barely if that makes sense!

Trigger Warnings- Cursing and some crying, oh and alcohol consumption!

Midoriya

“Zuku!!!!”

Poor boy, he gets so scared by your scream

He’ll rush into the bathroom and just stare at the back of your head for a moment or two before you turn around to look at him

“What happen- Oh.” 

He’ll stare at your choppy and lopsided bangs for a second or two before cracking a small smile

“I love it!” 

You know he’s trying to make you feel better, but damnit, you know it looks bad!

So many tears and reassurances for about an hour

Right as you’re calming down, he’ll grab the scissors and give you a big ol’ grin

“Zuku? What are y- IZUKU! NO!” 

He’s a very supportive boyfriend, okay?

If his s/o is going to be walking around with choppy bangs, then he will too damnit!

You’ll force him to put down the scissors and he’ll huff in annoyance

But silently thank any deity that you took them away

He’ll probably set up the couch to look like a nest of pillows and blankets and fix up your favorite snack so you can watch cartoons together

“I know you hate you bangs, but at least you don’t look like season one Zuko.” 

Cue a dirty look

And cue a soft smile accompanied by a kiss to your sort of and sort of not exposed forehead

“I’ll see if my mom can come over tomorrow to help fix it!”

“Thanks Zuku :)”

Todoroki 

So, it started off with bangs

And you LOVED them

And Shouto seemed to appreciate them quite a bit as well

Like any other responsible adult, you had been in a self quarantine for awhile

And like any other bored adult, you were watching ‘Tiger King’

And drinking a bit irresponsibly 

Mezcal, Tequila and Modelo don’t mix well with almost 6 straight hours of Tiger King

Shouto was off running some patrols so you were alone and there was no one to stop you

No one to stop you from grabbing the clippers in your bathroom

Shouto came home to you passed out on the bathroom floor surrounded by hair

He couldn’t lie, considering the fact that you were probably shit faced, you did a pretty good job

A pretty decent job at giving yourself your own mullet

Yes, a mullet

He carried you to bed after making sure you had no hair clinging to you

And then proceeded to clean the bathroom floor of all cut and shaven hair

The morning after, like most things involving ungodly amounts of alcohol was painful

Shouto was still sleeping so you wandered into the bathroom to grab some advil from the medicine cabinet

And came face to face with a great value Joe Exotic

Lots of hysterical laughter

Lots of tears

And lots of cursing

“Good morning.” 

You poked your head out of the bathroom to see Shouto chuckling to himself as he walked into the kitchen

“I look like the great value Joe Exotic.”

Shouto proceeds to stare at you with the most confused look on his face

“You look like Joe Exotic to me.”

“Thanks Sho... Thanks...”

Bakugo

He told you it was a bad idea

From the moment he saw the foil and the bleach and the neon green, he knew it was a bad idea 

“C’mon, help me! Please?”

“No. Your hair, your demise, dumbass.”

You knew you should’ve watched a Brad Mondo video before this

But you reallyyyyyy wanted to look like those insta baddies or egirls

You know, the ones with the strands of bright hair in the front?

Needless to say, you should’ve listened to Katsuki

One thing or another went wrong with the bleach, and next thing you know, your taking off the foils, but your newly bleached hair is breaking and going with it

You stood for a solid minute or two in front of the mirror before walking into your shared bedroom as if you didn’t just lose a good chunk of hair

“Hey, Y/n! Like the hair, dipshit.” 

His smirk pissed you off the most

The damn cocky bastard and his perfect white smile

You just stared at him and bawled your eyes out

“I-I.... I just wanted to look like an insta baddie!!” 

He’s so confused

Doesn’t know what an insta baddie is

Lowkey looks it up 

Just stares at you while you cry in the doorway 

But he’s not a shit boyfriend

He’ll run to you and hold you while you cry in the door way

And while he strokes your hair that didn’t fall, he’ll bite his lip and refrain from laughing hysterically
