I really didn’t think to finish this but it was a great opportunity to know what happens with the hands, which I think is the main focus of this drawing

Trembles touch the soul

I canon that Izukus hand never returned to normal. || Part 2

Now there weren’t many things that annoyed Izuku.

But his hand made him want to rip his hair out.

It was just so! Like why did it never want to cooperate?

Izuku was always a very hands on person, he wrote down all his thoughts. Hell he even got a discount for notebooks from the stationary store down the road from how many he bought from there!

So when he lost coordination after beating Shigaraki, Izuku couldn’t help but feel trapped in his own body.

Sure he could just talk out loud, but then he would lose it, he wouldn’t remember it. He just.. needed a way to get his hand back to normal.

So it started.

He sat down every night after teaching his students, painfully picking up a pen and tracing the lines on those stupid books for kindy kids to learn to write. It was downright embarrassing, he kept it locked away in the back of his wardrobe down below his pile of winter clothes. He would be damned if you ever came across it when stealing one of his hoodies, since it was summer you would never find it.

But even after that he didn’t improve. He would tear up in frustration more than he admitted and lets just say there were more picture frames hanging on the wall than before from him punching the walls.

Izuku was never much of an angry person, he preferred to do things peacefully if he could.

One of those days he just stared at the dotted lines of the letter E staring back at him as he crushed it up in his fist. This was doing more bad than good. He shakily started doodling on the side of the crushed up page.

He filled up several pages, hiding them all from you for they looked like a toddler drew them, but it was less self-deprecating than writing in those stupid books.

Eventually they got better, his doodles looked more.. doodley rather than scribbles. Obviously it wasn’t anything amazing, he wasn’t drawing a dragon or anything, but it was something, and it gave him a sliver of hope.

So that's how it started.

You don’t know when or why it started but eventually it became routine that you would go to your agency and in your lunchbox that your oh so loving boyfriend prepared you would find a little drawing. It was normally miffy, and you couldn’t deny it was the highlight of your day; to see what kind of miffy’s in your bag today, or the occasional snoopy. But let's be real, you were always a miffy kinda person.

It was your adventure buddy of the day, and you hung every. single. one. up above your desk at your home office. A miffy wallpaper.

And you fell in love with Izuku all over again.
