Obsessed with the idea of a city that hates you.

A city that gained sentience somehow and despises the crawling, insignificant, short-lived insects infesting its every corridor and building.

A city with such a deep, long-standing history of violence and conquest and bloodshed and -hatred- that it becomes impossible to ignore. The air itself is saturated with an all encompassing rage toward its creators and everything not of itself. A city full of people who are, themselves, an extension of the city, who simply... appeared one day. Its hard to tell your new neighbors from the old ones when they all seem exactly the same.

A city filled to the brim with such malice that its easy to become disoriented and lost, trembling as you find yourself trespassing empty alleys that haven't seen someone in years, your very existence seeming to be a crime in this place and... are the walls getting closer?

A city that exists for itself and no one else. You are no longer welcome here. You never were. You cannot leave, and you will be punished for it.
