6. anything that might inspire you subconsciously (i.e. this horse wasn't supposed to look like the last unicorn but i see it): i did not design faulkner's high prophet robes to resemble gerard way's joan of arc outfit in silhouette (i was into tsv before mcr) but like,.my goodness. also, i'm not sure if this counts really but when i was first learning to draw i was very much basing it off fashion illustration and modeling, and i think that vaguely unnatural posing carries over into a lot of my work

7. a medium of art you don't work in but appreciate: sculpture/architecture i really like it when the art is so tangible. i could never do it but it's really freaking cool

20. something everyone else finds hard to draw but you enjoy: hands lmao

Weirdly Specific Artist Ask Game

Didn't see a lot of artist ask games, wanted to make a silly one.

(I wrote this while sick out of my mind last year and it's been collecting dust in my drafts, I might as well let it run free) 1. Art programs you have but don't use

2. Is it easier to draw someone facing left or right (or forward even)

5. estimate of how much of your art you post online vs. the art you keep for yourself: i post most things honestly i'd say i keep back like 15-20% (which are sketchbook doodles unfit for the light of day, doodles ive done at school, stuff i never finished and stuff that the engrained cringe culture in me refuses to let me post

15. where do you draw: in my room curled up at my desk like shrimp 😔 i wish i could draw outside or smthn but unfortunately i am Teenager who Hardly Leaves House. i pray that will change sometime

25 (something your art has been compared to that you were not inspired by) - someone said my rendering was like that of fear and hunger, which i had not heard of until that point

26. (a piece that got a wildly different interpretation from what you intended) - probably just the few ones that broke containment? the ones that spread outside of the fandom are usually where people say things that don't align with the intent since they don't have the context of it
