hello! i just finished reading your fic and I'm so stunned.

Firstly, HOW COME ITS SO UNDERRATED??? More people should read it!! the writing is beautiful, i loved the pining, the build up, the descriptions, i loved everything about it I'm still processing it (and simultaneously grieving it cause now I'll have to embark on a quest to find a work THAT good).

BUT THE ENDING?? I was not expecting that – for some reason I was rooting for a happier ending, even though it was starting to seem less and less likely, but I did like that it was an open ending, it left quite the angsty tone in the air. Even if I am slightly heartbroken (because they deserved the world), I found it very realistic and I missed reading a fanfic that crushed my heart so thanks for that! It definitely became one of my favorite fanfics in the fandom! 

I'm looking very forward for whatever you write next and overall I just wanted to compliment your writing because it was just so good (I wish I could word in a better way how much I enjoyed it but I can't so I hope this is sufficient).

So, seriously, thank you. Wow. What else to say? I can say, about the ending, that it wasn't planned exactly like that. Open? Yes, bit slightly different, but with the time, this plot just established itself differently than I first planned, and the original ending wouldn't have fit. I am glad you liked it.

Like with his wife or with parties hiring him as sacrifice, being open or having good faith is vulnerability which can get you hurt, so he processes and shows all his stress as anger instead of worry. Doing strict dieting probably isn’t helping the irritability what with hunger, and on top of being a hunger suppressant alcohol might be the main stress reliever he has.
