Man, when I was like 16 I got so sick of being made fun of for being the fat kid that I took an axe down inna woods, chopped down a tree, and started doing log-lifts all the time. I got strong as fuck, but I didn’t lose no weight. I actually got bigger.

Same thing happened when I got into fighting. I got even stronger, and I got *fast*, man, and nimble, like a cat. Still chubby.

Body-building culture is a bunch of crap, my dude. Functional muscle is not necessarily toned or lean. You can be swole as hell and still be heavy. And that’s cool.

Can't wait to start working out again. Seriously. It helps me so much and I just couldn't for the past 1 1/2 month but now I'm finally on meds! Gonna wait at least a week longer for the symptoms in my lungs to hopefully be gone (I ain't risking stuff spreading to my heart) and after that Imma start again! (That forst leg workout is gonna be so fucking brutal for about 3 days. Not looking forward to that part)

I watched "my Oxford year" BC the people on TikTok kept crying how good it was. If you like acting, study at a university, like romance and like well build plots- this movie probably isn't for you. Sofia Carson gives a performance about as astonishing as a kid that's trying to pretend that they did their homework. The chemistry between the two leads falls flat and the main guy's talents honestly seem wasted. The academia setting is obviously just for aesthetic and no actual research was done. Also, they keep on pretending that this one exchange student is the pride of Oxford BC apparently, this version of Oxford has never before had an exchange student.

This movie partially infuriated me. The twist was also not very shocking (common, he dies. It's obvious) and the only thing I liked was the last montage which finally managed to convey the sadness that I was craving that evening. Apart from that, this movie is a rushed acting dumpster fire, which the tiktok crowed apparently truly loves
