Probably made it pretty obvious already LOL but my favorite is Kaito, I cried like a baby after his execution and it ruined me forever 😔 Close second is Shuichi, that is my baby BOY and he deserves to rest after all the shit he went through

Least favorite is between Angie and Kokichi; I have nothing against Angie's personality but her whole religious cult thing just really made me dislike her :") Literally every other word out of her mouth was about Atua and I got super sick of it pretty quickly. Kokichi...my feelings towards him are complicated haha it's more of a love/hate thing with him. He's absolutely insane and he gets on my nerves but that's what makes him such a fun character. I'd love to see him get a redemption tbh and just really get to know the REAL him under all the lies

What are some Sexuality headcanons you have for danganronpa

Ohhhh I have so much to say you have no idea

I'll go with my DRV3 post-game headcanons because that's generally what I think about!

Shuichi: Disaster bi. I recently had the thought that he'd actually be awesome as nonbinary, but I feel like he's the type to realize that in his mid 30s or something

Kaito: Bigger disaster bi than Shuichi somehow. I like to think that, while he's iffy/confused about gay people, he accepts trans people without a thought (he's just like "oh you're actually a guy/girl! okay") and just demands that they "act like their gender" bahaha

Ryoma: I know this is a controversial thing to say but. Straight. cis/het. But he's like the biggest and nicest ally ever because well his entire friend group is very queer

Rantaro: I don't see this enough!!!! Aro/ace Rantaro!!! His love hotel is literally him being a tutor with no romantic or sexual undertones!!!! His character concept is probably "playboy with no interest in romance"!! But yeah aro/ace, romance and sex-repulsed

Gonta: Probably pan, but fairly heteronormative. I feel like he gets married in middle age because he's really not searching for a relationship for most of his life and more busy enjoying his hobbies!

Kokichi: Obviously very gay! I generally have him as a trans guy who, due to some shenanigans that happened in his childhood, thought he was a cis guy (until puberty hit and he had to figure out why he was freaking bleeding). Ironically, I like to call him "the cissest of cis guys" haha

Korekiyo: Ace! Not looking for a romantic relationship but I like to think he has a strong platonic partnership with Tenko

Keebo: Aro/ace, romance-positive and sex-neutral. He doesn't experience romantic or sexual attraction but is totally open to a romantic relationship. Intersex and he/him nonbinary, but he generally keeps it to himself and only tells people he trusts

Kirumi: Gay gay lesbian gay. She loves GL (Girl's love genre) but keeps it a secret

Himiko: Aromantic and bisexual! She tends more towards girls than guys

Maki: PSA Maki is gay and was straightwashed when they put her in Danganronpa 53. I mean, Tsumugi really said "I made you fall in love with a guy for plot!" I like to think Maki gets out of DRV3 and her first thought is "why was I straight" (for legal reasons this is a joke and bi Maki believers are based but. gay maki)

Tenko: Bi Tenko bi Tenko I KNOW people insist she's a lesbian (and you people are based) buuut I think even in Danganronpa Tenko is bi. People don't choose who they're attracted to, so her being raised to hate men doesn't mean she can't be attracted to them! Okay that's my ted talk about bi tenko

Tsumugi: Her orientation is none of your business (is what she will say, but I will expose her as the bisexual she is)

Angie: Pan! Kinda heteronormative but she learns not to be

Miu: Pan. I think she would meet someone on the internet that she clicks super well with and then they fly out to meet each other and get married

Kaede: Lesbian! So lesbian. I will insist forever that she isn't actually interested in Shuichi and is just super awkward around him because she doesn't want to lead him on when she's gay

That's it for V3! I don't have as many for the other games, mostly since I'm not as interested in or familiar with them (I like to joke that V3 has the gayest cast and everyone in DR2 is straight (obviously untrue, the irrefutable evidence: Nagito)), but here's a few I like:

Hiyoko: I used to think she'd be the type to act homophobic "as a joke" but then I realized she's super gay. She'd probably still act homophobic though

so like. i'm at the investigative phase where they are investigating in the virtual reality world (keebo just pointed out toilet paper like apparently that's actually going to be important and let me tell you i'm actually thrilled about this).

and here are my thoughts so far:

1) kaito didn't kill miu. he's obviously a red herring. (like even if i didn't expect him to kill kokichi in case five, he's still a red herring. it's usually not the first person they want you to think it is. (except you know. 11037. -sighs-)) i expect that kaito screwed up his cords somehow, and that's how he got booted out.

2) the poison in kokichi's seat can't be what killed miu because one of the side-effects was super red eyes, and miu didn't have super red eyes. kaito would love for it to have been kokichi, but i don't think he would have done that set up. unfortunately, i know miu was planning to kill kokichi (because spoilers) and she was the last to log in, so she might have set that up beforehand. probably.

3) i'm still surprised monophanie is alive; i expected her to be killed with kiyo instead of monodam; and since monotaro is helping them out when he's not supposed to be doing that, i expect he'll probably be the one who dies this time.

also by process of elimination like.

kaito, maki, and kokichi have to make it to case five for the thing i saw (assuming that's not somehow in this case, and i don't think it is).

shuichi is the player character and they're not going to pull a kaede again.

tsumugi's the mastermind.

keebo and himiko survive.

miu is dead.

this leaves gonta.

i don't think it's gonta. not intentionally.

i think miu might have accidentally killed herself.

(or gonta might have killed her not realizing that attacking someone in the virtual world could actually kill them because miu just didn't tell anybody that because, you know, planning to kill kokichi, and if he was being kokichi's bodyguard, then like. that would explain that.)

the sign was on the wrong side of the rock; if it was going with the flow, it should have been stuck on the right side of the rock - run into it and then stuck - instead of on the left side of the rock, which is where it was.

everyone has equal strength, so anyone could have moved the sign.

miu's spent who knows how long in the virtual world, so she should have known where the sign would have ended up and been able to get to it even from the chapel side. (or set something else up for that.)

tsumugi saw miu on the house side, which tracks for attempting to kill kokichi. gonta could have accidentally knocked her out and then carried her back across and moved the bridge.

but i really don't think it's gonta. i really don't think he would even accidentally kill miu. not in a world where his strength is the same as everyone else's.

however.

Dangranronpa V3 Love Suite Events Ranked by if they fucked Shuichi or not.

I'm in a weird headspace tonight. It's all under the cut...

-I put Angie in could go either way instead of a crime because I feel like Shuichi might have been able to get out of the love suite before things got worse. Still doesn't excuse that Angie ignored him when he wasn't consenting to other stuff.

-Maki and Tenko's dialogue is vague enough that they either fucked during the event or the fantasy ended before anything happened.

-Considered putting Kaito in "Could Go Either Way" because it defiantly sounds like the two could fuck after their race... but isn't it also funny just imagine Kaito and Shuichi on the heart bed making airplane noises instead of having sex?

-If you really wanted to argue about it... you could say Himiko "put a spell" on Shuichi to have sex with him but I think that's written more to be indearing and not her actually taking away Shuichi's free will in this situation.

-Keebo and Gonta are both trying to practice romance with Shuichi, Keebo kind of implies he could have feelings for Shuichi but it didn't read that way to me with Gonta. I don't think he knows what he means when he says he'll make Shuichi "Feel Good Tonight".

-Shout out to Ryoma and Kirumi for just having sweet romantic events with no sex, just fluff. Good for them. (I didn't read Rantaro's event as super romantic but if you read it that way it applies here too.)

-Kokichi gets a rank to himself because he LEFT HIS OWN FUCKING LOVE SUITE EVENT LIKE LMAO WHAT????//??

To Mod: I only watched the Danganronpa Trials throughout the series. But now I can say that in v3 that I'm currently playing outside of trials. Tenko's hate towards men and her obsession with Himiko was obnoxious. Angie is basically Teruteru were he rarely gets non-pervy dialogue, while and gets very rare non-Atua dialogue. Also Angie is extremely shady, even more so so ce she only has smiling sprites. Kaito's blind optimistism is annoying. And Miu pervsion towards Shuichi during FTE & Love Hotel was honestly more disturbing than Teruteru's Rice Ball.

//The biggest problem with Dangnronpa V3's writing, and I've said it before and I'll say it again, is that the dialogue is far more repetitive than it is in any other installment in the series.

//And for Danganronpa, that's saying something.

//Every V3 character has basically one personality trait, and nothing else, and all their dialogue and interactions are based around that one trait.

//For some of them, it actually works in their favor. Shuichi, Maki, Kaito, Kaede and Kokichi are five of the most interesting and fun characters in the series in my opinion.

I, Mr. McRibs, am a Danganronpa fan, and I have made my objectively correct, based, Danganronpa Character Tier List, that includes characters from Trigger Happy Havoc, Goodbye Despair, V3, and all the people you actually meet in UDG (except for 2 additions)

obligatory spoiler warning, I guess

For context, ive never watched the anime, only stuff talking about the anime, and I’ve only done the free time events with Toko, Chihiro, Taka, Gundamn, Mikan, Himiko, and Gonta. I have some general knowledge of other characters that you wouldn’t only know from their basic introductions, but don’t blame me if I don’t know about Cockichi’s super secret dialogue that reveals he has 3 dicks, also

now, the list itself

A+ and S+ is essentially A and S but like, I would probably that smash button, if you know what I mean

the top 2 tiers are uhhhhh, *special cases*

Now, let’s start with the fucking dregs, blocked characters

everyone here is self explanatory if you look at them, but Himiko is a bitch to my SDR2 waifu and Yuta just disturbs me with his presence, idk why

In D tier, I’m just gonna be honest, I don’t like 2/3rds of the asshole rivals, Byakuya fucked with DR1 “Best Girl”’s dead body and Nagito is Nagito. If you couldn’t tell, I’m not exactly a big Komahina shipper, because Hajime deserves better. I’d be too scared to ever talk to Mondo.

Tsumugi WOULD be blocked, but I just like her more, she would be in C if she didn’t write her kinks into V3 (*cough cough* Kiyo and the Monokubs *cough*) Monokuma and Monodam aren’t in blocked, because they’re funny little fellas

In C tier, which is just “I don’t dislike or like you” tier, Kyoko is neat but kinda…. well, kyoko. Miu would be in B but sadly, love hotel says otherwise. I get that Tenko is more that just “fuck men /neg”, but like, I can’t really just ignore that, mate. Akane is bland, and Taek- I mean Celestia is 100% a bitch that would rob me blind. I don’t really have anything to say about any of the other humans, besides Haiji. Yes, I do know he has THAT line, but like… I just kinda don’t care about it, it doesn’t go anywhere and one REALLY REALLY bad line doesn’t ruin a mentally ill fuck. The Mono-fellas there are just there because they’re also boring

in B tier, where I’m only gonna talk about only the bitches I REALLY care about, cutting off the characters I have nothing to talk about (Keebo, Aoi, Ibuki, Nekomaru, Sakura, Usami)

Kaito is such a bro, he’d just be cool to hang around. Korekiyo, Toko, and Syo all get to avoid C and below despite being very fucked up serial killers, because I like Korekiyo and UDG gave Toko/Syo a glowup and a girlfriend. Twogami I can’t explain why I like, he’s just cool and neat and cool. Kanon gets the cut because god, I love Ultra Despair Hagakure. Masaru is okay, just get therapy and stop mentioning wieners, I hate hot dogs.

In A tier, Peko gets to sit next to her husband Fuyuhiko because I really like them both. Kazuichi has nothing going for him besides his design and that one Kazuichi X Gundham X Sonia doujin, you know EXACTLY THE ONE IM TALKING ABOUT. Maki is just neat, and Ryoma is too good not to put in A. Sonia is a basic bitch, but refer to Kazuichi, and finally, SOMEONE GET THESE KIDS SOME FUCKING THERAPY

A+ Now, and uhhh, Goth Maid Mommy GF? Kokichi is just a little guy that make me feel things I don’t think I should feel about someone who would 100% bully me. Angie is here because she’s angie and her love hotel, despite the fact I actually hated her during V3 because of her cult BS. Milf is here for obvious reasons

Listen, Gonta would be in S+ if I wouldn’t actually be scared for my own safety, as Gonta is fucking massive in likely more places than one. Kaede is Kaede, an- w wait guys, don’t leave because Hifumi is in S guys I swear he’s not that gUYS WAIT PL-

Himiko and Taka are both people I maxed out relationships with, so I have had enough time with them if feel bad for not putting them here. Chiaki, Yasuhiro, and Komaru sound like a dream blut rotation, also WHO KEEPS LEAVING THE MENTALLY SCARED CHILDREN AT MY DOORSTEP

in S+, the highest normal tier, we have CHIHIRO. So, I’m the beginning of THH, I decided to try and really befriend one girl I really liked and one boy I really liked, so I chose Taka….*and chihiro*, long story short, I failed that objective. bro, I just love Hajime so fucking much, he’s the BEST PROTAG EVER, FUCK YOU IF YOU DISAGREE…*ignore the fact all 3 male protags are in S+, Makoto is too much of a nice little man to not be here and Shuichi gets here because he’s the hot depressed Emo boy.* Gundham is another of my favorite DR characters, because he’s GUNDHAM TANAKA, HISTORY’S GREATEST MONSTER!!! Mikan was my SDR2 waifu, and uhhhhhhhhhh, I may or may not be a major Simp for Yanderes, which *might* mean something. I’ve only seen DR:IF Mukuro, but like, she’s the best choice for Makoto and is also a Girlboss. TeruTeru only gets to be here because he’d 100% show me a good time.

and finally, my number 1 favorite Danganronpa character is none other than IZURU KAMAKURA!!!! i just can’t explain it, he interests me so fucking much and he’s so fucking cool and awesome and epic and he was one of my first U ranked characters I got in UTDP. Monodam is also here, because I love him nearly just as much

V3 Mastermind Tier List

I’ll be ranking all 16 characters by the following criteria

-How shocking the reveal would be 

-How impactful the reveal would be (To the audience and the charcters in game.)

-How good of a mastermind they would be. (Base intelligence, acting and social maniupulation.)

-How much sense it would make from a meta standpoint. (I.e, does it make sense, what does this reveal add to the character, what narrative potential is there for such a twist.)

S rank will be reserved for the one character I think would be the best mastermind. Be warned that this is heavily opinionated. With that, let’s get started!

D Tier

Gonta- Sorry, but no. While the betrayal would sting, and it would be shocking, i don’t think it’d be a very good reveal. From a canon standpoint, Gonta’s to naive and dumb to really be an effective mastermind. From a speculative scenario, it would have to be hinted that Gonta is much smarter than he let on. Something would have to be very obviously off with the beloved entomologist. But in canon, I think it feel like more of an ass pull than anything else.

Ryoma- Ah yes, everyone’s favorite tennis player. I just can’t see it. Ryoma holds the group at something of an arms length emotionally, so I don’t think enough characters would care on a personal lever for it to have the kind of impact characters higher up would. While he’d do fine as a mastermind, lIke Gonta I think it’d be more for the momentary shock value, with otherwise no other significant character impact.

C Tier

Tenko- While Tenko would make for a decent mastermind, like Gonta she’s not the smartest and is pretty naive. The impact would hit largely Himiko, and maybe Angie, but I don’t believe it would be as personally felt anyone else in the group. It’s would be a shock, but I don’t think it’d really be in a good way. It doesn’t really suit her.

Miu- She’s smart, that’s for sure, and that’s what gets her into C tier. She’s be capable of running a Killing game. However, she’s canonically a bit of a pushover, so unless that turns out to be an act, she wound’t hold up under her classmates scrutiny. She also draws a lot of attention to herself, which is not something you really want in your mastermind. 

B Tier

Maki- She’d feel just a touch too obvious, I think. From the start, she’s pretty mysterious and just a little suspicious. And, assuming her real talent is still revealed, I don’t think most characters would be that surprised. She’s just...there, meaning it’s impact would be limited.

Kiyo- Here for a lot of the same reasons as Maki. He’s suspicious from the start, so not a lot of shock value, and I just don’t think it’d make the best reveal. Not a bad reveal, to be clear, just not the best.

Himiko- She’s noteworthy enough to stand out, but can also fade into the background. This is good. However, like the previous characters, her impact would be limited, and the shock would be most of what it has going for it. However, I do think she’d do well masterminding a KG like it’s one of her shows.

A Tier 

Does this tier half half the class in it? Yes. Do I care? No.

Keebo- Boy is already an unwitting assistant to the masermind, so to upgrade him from camera to actual mastermind isn’t much of a stretch. Despite being a robot, he’s also able to fade to the back a bit if he so chooses; since he has a more normal personality, it’d be easy to let the more colorful personalities shine.

Tsumugi- Her only real downside in canon, in my opinion, is that she fades into the background just a little too much. She’s smart, and her apathy towards the situation and her actions is kind of chilling.

Kirumi- Betrayal from the mom friend? Sure, why not. Kirumi being the mastermind would sting for the entire cast, and her simply carrying out her duties as mastermind could make for a very chilling characters. Only problem is it might feel a little too plot twisty in the bad way.

Kaito- Another stinging betrayal. Kaito as the mastermind has the potential to be terrifying. We know Kaito has anger issues, and him being the mastermind would be shocking but not totally out of left field if done properly. 

Angie- We saw how manipulative she could be in chapter three. Her social awarness and intelligences is one of the highest in the group, and she’s quirky enough to stand out, but she also has this ability to stand out in a way as to be unassuming. 

Rantaro- One of the main things he has going for him is the mystery. He’d be able to stand out when needed but, similar to Keebo, other, more colorful personalities can shine when he wants attention off of him.

Kokichi- My main gripe with mastermind!Kokichi is just how obvious it would be. From a narrative/meta standpoint, Kokichi is honestly one of the worst picks because no one would be surprised. That being said, Kokichi would do well at pretty much all other aspects. Hell, when he only pretended, he did the masterminds job better than the actual mastermind. He’s effective in every aspect that’s not shock value, such that I have to put him here. He’s intelligent, both socially and academically, and he’d do a brilliant job.

Kaede: Ah, yes. Everyone’s favorite pianist. She’s blend with the group well, and no one would see it coming. She’d be well liked by everyone, furthering the effects of her betrayal. She’s smart, and I think she’d do well masterminding a killing game.

Shuichi- Best boi, need I say more? Well, yes, actually. Shuichi took the elusive s tier spot for several reasons. (Also, assume someone else is protag for this one.) One, he blends in well, but he stands out by virtue of being a detective in a killing game. He can take an active role in the investgation and trials, but ones they’re over, he stands back, letting others take the spotlight. He’s one of the smartest in the group, so masterminding would be no problem, and neither would manipulation. He’s betrayal would have a drastic effect on the group, since he’d been so helpful up to this point. He could either be Junko leves of insane, or cold, calculating, and unfazed. Overall, he’s got a lot of the best foundation to be mastermind

96: Ultimate BrOTP - (hey my fav number!) Um!! Again, favorites are not easy for me, so have a list! Shuichi/Kaede, Sonia/Gonta, Hifumi/Angie, Fuyuhiko/Gonta, Sonia/Gundham/Kazuichi (but in a non-annoying way lol), Gonta/Kokichi, Gonta/Sakura, Nekomaru/Sakura/Gonta/Akane, rambling rambling hahaha... Also! Again, if they could be chill with each other, I like to see it! So some ships and friendships could really go either way for me.

100: Ultimate NOTP - The first I think of is an easy one, which is Gonta/Kokichi. I love seeing a healthy friendship with them! I also understand how people could enjoy shipping them romantically. I am not one of them though, there are some things that happened that really just feel unforgivable and while rectifying the past to make a stable friendship is fine, I don't think a healthy romantic relationship could come from it. Also not crazy about Hajime/Nagito, that shit was wildly unhealthy from many angles and until the entire cast of each game gets therapy, that one should be on the backburner for a bit.

Okay so. I'm like, 99% done with V3 and I realized I've barely shared like any of my thoughts here so. SPOILERS AHEAD

-The fact that Ryoma wanted to die and was fighting to find something to live for only to find out that he had NOTHING...that shit was sad bro

-Was NOT expecting Kirumi at all but in retrospect it's the least suspicious ones that you should be the most suspicious of. Also her execution was p brutal

-ANGIE WITH THE CULT...the fact that she managed to brainwash half the group had me terrified. Also her Atua worshipping got real old real fast. I hate religious cults lmao I was literally sitting there like "I REALLY hope she's the one to die this chapter" bc if I had to read one more sentence of her being like "Atua will save us all <3" I WOULD have gone to play in traffic.

-Angie needed to go but TENKO 😭 She was just a hopeless lesbian in love with Himiko she did not deserve what happened to her

-Speaking of Himiko I was kinda meh about her at first but after the chapter 3 trial her character developed so wonderfully...it was so nice to see her grow and change and learn to express herself 🥺

-TRAINING TRIO MY BELOVED FOREVER AND EVER AND EVER I would kill for them genuinely.

-My hatred for Kokichi only grew as time went on but after forcing Gonta to kill. MAN. That trial was so heartbreaking Gonta was just trying his best to protect everyone :"( Kokichi's such a little shit

-Kaito brushing off his illness as just him being afraid of ghosts AGGHHHH I knew there was something wrong from the start but seeing it progress and get worse was just 😭 I was literally sitting there like. Does he have a terminal illness. Oh my god he's going to die isn't he. NO HE'S MY FAVORITE PLEASEEEEE

-Was NOT expecting the space colony twist but even more so was the fact that the world ended...not once, but TWICE

-Me during chapter 4: How much you wanna bet next chapter Kokichi's gonna get killed and Kaito's gonna be the one who kills him Me during the chapter 5 trial: FUCKING. CALLED IT!!!!!!

-MAKI FALLING FOR KAITO and admitting it right before his execution.......my heart can't TAKE this shit please!!!!

-Kaito dying from his illness before the execution was even over...Monokuma being pissed about it...everyone looking at him and going HA BITCH YOU THOUGHT! Kaito beat you!!

-Me, 3 chapters in: Tsumugi is so boring she literally brings nothing to the plot whatsoever. She's just...there Me, during the chapter 6 class trial: OHHHH. THAT WAS INTENTIONAL. I KNEW they wouldn't just have a useless character that should have been my first clue honestly

-Also me: Why do the Monocubs even exist. They've done nothing but comedy routines and die this entire time. They're literally pointless?? I've been watching Game Grumps play V3 and every time they come on screen Dan and Arin collectively sigh together. LMAO

-Imagine me with my jaw on the FLOOR once everything was revealed to be fictional. It's all a lie?? They Truman Show'd this shit?? Neither of the first two games MATTERED?? (A friend explained that DRV3 is in a separate universe than the first two games so that calmed me down a little lmao I would have been so pissed if it were actually the case that everyone from the first two games were just. Not real. Didn't actually exist. It was all faked)

Anyway I'm not completely done with the game yet I'm at the tail end of the chapter 6 trial so we'll see how things go from here 😬 This has been a wild ride. An emotional rollercoaster for sure

Taka: 7.5/10 A bit more classy than Makoto but still simple with not much originality.

Byakuya: 6/10 Out of all the characters who could have worn a jacket incorrectly, they choose McRich for the job. I hate it. But outfit is fine I guess.

Mondo: 10/10 So ridiculous and in character. Love it.

Leon: 5/10 What are you, scottish? The shoes ruin everything for me they’re so ugly smh. I know I can’t draw shoes either but what are those

Hifumi: 0/10 Look Hifumi, I know your character gets too much hate but I gotta say: Ew.

Hiro: 6.5/10 I like the outfit. But my guy, that color is piss. If you had just changed the color I would have added 2 points.

Sayaka: 7/10 Like Makoto, it’s nice but that’s it.

Kyoko: 9/10 Damn, she look classy as hell. I don’t like that much whatever is going on with the sleeves but the rest looks stunning.

Hina: 10/10 My girl looks SPLENDID in yellow. And the flowers are great too, I just love her. Plus that smile <3

Toko: 8/10 It’s nice, I like the bun(s?) and the dress looks good. The flower in her hair is a nice touch and the colors fit her.

Sakura: 9/10 My girl looks great in buns (+ flower). I like the kimono a lot but the colors used irks me just a tiny bit. Still love her, though.

Celeste: 8.5/10 I wish that veil was a bit more transparent so I could see her dress in it’s entirety. Either way, she looks stunning and that hairpiece is just in character.

Junko: 9/10 The dress looks fantastic, the mask is a nice touch but I feel like she would have been perfect with loose hair.

Chihiro: 7/10 Say what you want about the onceler, I like that outfit. Very cute but the socks(?) give me the same vibe as Miu’s bondage gear and mmmm don’t like that

Hajime: 7.5/10 See Makoto above but a little 0.5+ for that flower.

Nagito: 8.5/10 I’m a sucker for boys with tied hair, as you may already know. White looks nice on him, and the outfit is nice.

Twogami: 4/10 You just took Hifumi’s ugly outfit and put a fur coat on it. It doesn’t look that bad since it’s at least less flashy, but I just don’t vibe.

Gundham: 6/10 The outfit is okay I guess but are you telling me that this guy wouldn’t choose something 100 times more extra? He looks so plain. Give him the crazy outfit he deserves.

Kazuichi: 6/10 You fucking disaster. You just took your jumpsuit and made it fancy. This is so damn ridiculous, but I can still see some appeal in it but like, you’re a disaster man. Also nice glasses bro

Teruteru: 10/10 I love it. The vibe it has,,, I love this. The colors, the simpleness yet effectiveness, it’s just perfect.

Nekomaru: 6.5/10 It’s fine, I guess. It does fit him, but I don’t see that much stuff that could be considered out of the ordinary in a good way.

Fuyuhiko: 7.5/10 Palette color is good but like. The outfit is peak bisexual. I don’t even hc him as bisexual.

Akane: 10/10 THAT’S MY GIRL. She is more of a queen than Sonia will ever be, I’m sorry. She is rocking with that cape. And the outfit is great.

Chiaki: 7/10 It’s cute and effective, it fits her. I don’t like her hair that much for some reason, but overall she looks neat.

Sonia: 6/10 What do you mean this isn’t a miss universe contest?  I can’t vibe, I’m sorry. It looks nice, but it feels more like a popular girl’s dress than who Sonia really is.

Hiyoko: 7.5/10 It looks better than her in-game outfit, at least. The colors suit her, I like it.

Mahiru: 7/10 I have mixed feelings. I love the dress, but the headband is a huge no from me. Little plus for the flower, though.

Mikan: 1/10 Who thought this was a good outfit? Genuinely curious.

Ibuki: 9/10 This is so damn extra, I love it. So many ribbons for nothing, it almost gives a Touhou vibe. But the outfit itself? Horrendous color palette, but it fits because it’s Ibuki.

Peko: 9/10 Opposite of Ibuki on the same spectrum. It’s calm, classy anyway, and fits Peko. I don’t have anything to say, it’s just really good. Nice flower btw

Rantaro: 7/10 Outfit is fancy af, but you would have a better grade if it wasn’t for that damn fedora.

Kokichi: 7/10 Who the fuck wears purple socks with white shoes? Also as I said before, he looks like the type of person who gets drunk before coming to the party. Outfit’s good, but once you get to the details it’s a disaster.

Keebo: 4/10 I do not vibe. I don’t know what I’m looking at. Is this another armor? Is this an outfit on the armor? I don’t know. Scarf looks a bit out of place. Also Keebo, wearing your jacket like Hiro doesn’t suit you I’m sorry.

Gonta: 4/10 I do. do not vibe. Too many squares? Too green? idk what bothers me the most. Also he gave me a heart attack the first time I saw him bc I thought he had cut his hair.

Shuichi: 6.5/10 After those two disasters I am glad to see someone at least decent. The color palette doesn’t suit him that much, but I can respect it.

Kiyo: 10/10 The guy is so classy it hurts. I don’t even know if that’s a skirt or pants but either way I love it. This outfit just suits him 100%.

Ryoma: 3/10 What the fuck is this. What. What is this. This hat reaches Touhou levels of ridiculousness. It’s horrible. The outfit is kinda better than whatever some of them have going on but holy shit the hat ruins everything for me.

Kaito: 9/10 The coat is fantastic. Black with tiny moons and stars + a space interior? That’s beyond perfect. Outfit is nice, although I would have liked a different color for the vest and the pants.

Kaede: 8/10 It’s simple and effective. I really like the flowers but still, I can’t get used to Kaede’s haircut. At this this one has cute flowers and ribbons.

Miu: 8.5/10 Now you would think that with what Mikan got, Miu would get something super revealing, but this is surprisingly not the case. It’s very original and it suits her a lot, especially the huge sleeves.

Tsumugi: 7/10 The dress is nice, but that’s pretty much it. I like how she tied her hair, it does look nice. Also those shoes are weird tbh

Tenko: 9/10 I was wrong. This is, in fact, a mini-short. She looks so classy and I love the new placement of the hairpin. She looks a lot like a talentswap Magician!Tenko and I love it. So classy. Very good.

Kirumi: 10/10 That’s peak fancy. I just. I love. her. She’s so fucking great like the elegance, the classiness, everything is perfect. I believe in Kirumi supremacy.

Maki: 3/10 I’m sorry I hate this dress. It had good potentiel but the color palette irks me. No. I can’t. Hair looks nice tho.

Himiko: 8/10 It’s just so damn cute. Idk if the space theme is a reference to her beta design but either way, I love it.

Angie: 8/10 A different kind of fancy. I like the large pants, it does fit her vibe. Also that veil is cool af.

DANGANRONPA RANDOM WHEEL! SECRET SANTA! (V3 Version!)

Korekiyo: Kiyo’s secret Santa was Kirumi. I feel like Kirumi would try to make him something. Either that or buy him a beautiful ceramic mask. I feel like Korekiyo would like those. 

Miu: Miu’s secret Santa was Kiyo. Kiyo probably would try to trade with someone else, but end up just buying Miu an appliance for her to take apart. She’d be confused about it at first, but I think she’d like it. 

K1-B0: Keebo’s secret Santa was Miu. Of course. She would upgrade him to have a sweet singing voice using her skills, but she’d also make him an internal hard drive with all of the popular songs that he can listen to. 

Himiko: Himiko’s secret Santa was Keebo. I feel like Keebo would try and make Himiko a rocket powered broom for her to fly around on, and some glitter that she can use in her magic shows to give things a more mystical feel. Miu would definitely help him a bit. 

Angie: Angie’s secret Santa was Himiko. Himiko would try and make something homemade for Angie. It would be subpar at best, because art isn’t Himiko’s thing, but I think Angie is the kind of person who would really appreciate her effort and intentions. 

Kokichi: Kokichi’s secret Santa was Angie. She straight-up bought Kokichi a muzzle. And then Miu stole it. So she ended up just giving him a carving of Atua and a half-hearted blessing? from Atua. Kokichi would still enjoy it. 

Kaito: Kaito’s secret Santa was Kokichi. Kokichi would pretend to not participate in the game especially after the gift Angie got him, but he’d actually put effort and time into Kaito’s. He’d attempt to make him cookies or something, and then leave them in Kaito’s room. He’d deny any involvement just to watch Kaito eat them and freak out from not knowing who his secret Santa was. 

Tenko: Tenko’s secret Santa is Kaito. No joke here, Kaito would literally not know what to buy Tenko. So he’d just buy her a blue shirt that says “Kill All Men.” She’d like it a bit, but be a bit indifferent about it. 

Maki: Maki’s secret Santa is Tenko. Tenko would go all out to make Maki’s present the best! Her present would initially be teaching her Aikido. But thinking about Maki, she probably already knows Aikido. She won’t say anything though. Tenko would also lock Kokichi and Kaito in a closet so she (Maki.) could have a degenerate male free day. 

Shuichi: Shuichi’s secret Santa is Maki. She’d only participate because it’s Shuichi and not one of the others. I feel like she’s the type of person to get someone else a gift card so they don’t have to participate more than they need to. So she just gave him her monocoins and a letter that says “Here.”

Tsumugi: Tsumugi’s secret Santa is Shuichi. Shuichi’s present was finally cosplaying with her and letting her turn him into a catboy maid. This present turns out to be fun for Kokichi.

Ryoma: Ryoma’s secret Santa is Tsumugi. In a not canon (for her character) twist, Tsumugi is actually nice to Ryoma and gets him a PS4. Yes. A PS4. The man likes video games. 

Kaede: Kaede’s secret Santa is Ryoma. Ryoma isn’t sure what to get Kaede, and he doesn’t want to be basic and get her something piano related... but he found this really soft piano scarf... She loved it of course, and because he felt awkward he also bought a box of tea. Gingerbread tea.

Kirumi: Kirumi’s secret Santa is Kaede. She gives Kirumi the day off and decides to let The Ultimate Maid take a self-care day. She cooks for Kirumi, plays the piano for Kirumi, and does everything Kirumi would do to make sure she is comfortable. Kirumi greatly appreciates the effort Kaede puts in. 

Rantaro: Rantaro’s secret Santa is Gonta. Gonta doesn’t really understand the whole premise of the game, so he gets Rantaro a butterfly pillow and matching bed covers. Rantaro loves them. 

Gonta: This leaves Rantaro as Gonta’s secret Santa. And surprise surprise, Rantaro got the same exact thing for Gonta. Except the one he’s giving Gonta has honeybees on it.

Do you have survivor predictions? Who? How many?

You wanna know? You wanna hear my ramblings driven by psychology, character studies and paying WAY too much attention to game decisions made by the devs?

Alright let's get into my character survival predictions for the remaining Ultimates!!

Also I know this is the last Dangan game for a while so I'm actually assuming there will be less survivors then usual ( plus the rules suggests as much ) so a lot of these 'predictions' are me just understanding that most of these people are gonna be killed.

But let's start the theories, shall we?

Obviously Shuichi lives, so he takes up a slot.

I'll begin with Kokichi and Miu since they're my faves. I'll be blunt here:

These two are gonna die.

Miu for sure, I can't imagine a final trial with Miu popping off at the mouth every five seconds so she's def gonna kick the bucket

RIP Miu Iruma 100% gonna die sorry you are a hot mess and I love you but you gotta go

Kokichi is the 'rival' character so he has a coin flip chance whether he'll live or die. They 'killed' ( ? ) Nagito but they left Byakuya alive so idk if they'll spare Kokichi but they probably won't cause they like to hurt me

So Kokichi has a 60% chance he'll die but he better die for a reason or I'm gonna be pissed

Next, Korekiyo,,, okay look. I love him, I love his design and I wish he would survive but you know what? He's not gonna.

Everyone knows he's gonna kill someone. Even the game looked at this dude and was like oh yeah he'll kill someone. I'm sure it'll be heart tugging and the execution will be beautiful but I'm just saying if he becomes the focus during any point in the next chapters during that class trial I'm gonna have him pegged as the killer sorry

So yeah 100% gonna be executed

Keebo...is too cute. I want him to live so bad. But he's really sweet so he probs won't??

Like, I'd enjoy him being a survivor and there's a small chance and stuff, but tbh I'm not gonna get my hopes up cause I actually like him a whole lot and if I let myself believe he'll survive it's gonna hurt more if he doesn't

I'm leaving him 50/50 for the sake of hope

Let's do Kaito too, cause I'm pretty fond of this man right now. So it's clear Kaito is not gonna be a survivor for one reason. Him and Shuichi are really close. Like, really close. So close you have to wonder if they're setting up a more impactful death...

My guy deserves better but 98% gonna die

Next is...

Gonta. Gonta Gonta Gonta.

On one hand it's hard to imagine anyone killing him, and I'd be really surprised if he kills someone else, but I also can't imagine him as a survivor? So for this one I really dont know. We all thought Mechamaru couldn't be killed but he got murked so

70% chance he'll die, but I hope I'm wrong

Okay these next two are important:

Tenko is gonna die. She def deserves better but I'm gonna be straight up; she'll die.

I actually wanna talk about this first because it leads into my Himiko prediction.

So she's being built around her love of Himiko and while the kid doesn't even appreciate her right now, if they get closer I imagine she'll be used for development. Tenko is kinda being disrespected by the game and I'd love for her to grow outside of Himiko, but,,

100% killed for Himiko development

On that note, Himiko. I'm gonna be honest, right now I don't like her very much. I'm sure she'll grow on me but at this point in the story she's lowkey rude to Tenko and it bothers me. But that being said, every single game there's a character I think absolutely nothing of and they end up surviving. I usually like them by the end of the game but still. It never fails. I thought nothing of Hagakure the entire 1st game and guess what? He lived. I didn't care for Kazuichi all that much (even thought I love him now) and he also lived. My gut is usually right so I'm gonna throw my neck out there and say she's a survivor babey!! Even though there's definitely better characters that they could keep alive but I probably just need to see where she goes as a person. Rn she's just,, irritating :/ but they're setting her up for some heavy character development so idk

Or I could be totally wrong?

Either way Himiko 95% sure she's a survivor

The other 5% is because she could become an easy target if Tenko/Angie dies in an impactful enough way to make her lose her spirit and just mope around waiting to be murdered tbh she's short maybe Gonta accidentally steps on her or smthn

Moving on to Angie! I have no idea! :D

She's cute and funny and has a lot of energy but if they keep Himiko alive then she'll probably end up sleeping with Atua.

Sorry Angie depending on where Himiko goes you're either a survivor or a victim. So I'll also place her 50/50 with Keebo

Okay next is Maki, and I'm also gonna say she has Great Potential to survive.

She's Special, and the game likes her so I wouldn't be surprised. I could see her in a final trial setting, plus she reminds me of Toko in the sense that everyone expects her to kill but she won't bother, and no one could kill HER so she just ends up surviving the whole game because she just does her own fuckass thing until the games over lmao

She definitely is Important and I'm pretty sure she's gonna play a part in the final trial. Plus I like her so: 100% she's a survivor.

I saved Tsumugi for last because ever since I MET her I've been side eyeing the fuck out of her and since then I've been keeping a really REALLY close eye on her....and I'm about to drop either a TOTAL crackhead theory or I ruined the last trials reveal for myself AGAIN WHY DO I DO THIS

And NO ONE is to confirm this in any way okay, I don't wanna know if I'm right yet

But that being said;;;

Tsumugi is the Mastermind.

Every single character we've met so far actually had a solid act, I understood each of their roles in Danganronpa's favorite trope game but Tsumugi...is just weird.

She has no presence, and only talks to say something odd, and she's immediately glossed over at all times. I've looked over the characters trying to imagine each of them as the Mastermind and she's the only one who like,, feels like there's way more too her then just 'strange' and I've called the mastermind Every Single Game so I'm pretty sure,, I just fucked myself over,, my bad guys,,

Anyway putting her aside, the final results:

100% Survivors: Shuichi and Maki

Possible Survivors: Himiko or Angie

I want them to live so bad but they probably won't and I'm crying: Kokichi and Keebo

I'm sad about it but they're still gonna die: Miu, Korekiyo, Kaito, Gonta and Tenko
