And I got so embarassed but trying to keep my cool while internally I was like‚‚‚#Omg the Cool Museum Guide™ is talking with me about my hyperfixation‚‚‚‚‚‚ What is happening #We talked a bit about the manga it was such a nice and sweet exchange. They said they like Dostoyevsky and I was like yeah he's so cool!!!#They said they're sorry about Bram it was REALLY cute (´；ω；｀)#I didn't want to hamper them too much so I took my leave shortly after but I'd actually really like to pay visit again–#when the new chapter is out??#Hhhhhhh I don't want to look stalkery and like go look for them on their job. But also like‚ they looked genuinely happy and as excited as–#I was when we were chatting and I believe in the power of human connections through shared hyperfixations #The possibly funnier part is that then my friend went “Wait you're into b/ungo stray dogs??” and like alright. This is less surprising.#I already knew she likes manga.#What actually left me quite baffled was that... She really didn't know I was into b/sd. When it's literally what I think about 24/7 #Something very similar happened just a week ago. My friend gifted me a manga volume of a series she really likes for my birthday #But when she was giving it to me she awkwardly went “oh‚ just‚ it features romance between two guys. I hope that's okay with you...”#And I internally had to pause and realize that no.#In fact most of the people I hang out with don't know I spend half my time curating a bl focused blog.#It's just funny in a way? How about mundane au with Magnus and Clary being the creators of a visual novel/comic series

(Clary does the drawings and Magnus the story),

and the both of them taking inspiration for the characters from the people they meet at a local coffee shop?

Alec, a secret comic nerd and huge fan of said visual novel/comic, and completely enamored with the wizard character in the series, gets even more into it when the story introduces an archer character who is immediately flirted with by the wizard.

And is it just his imagination, or does the wizard kinda resemble the cute asian guy he sometimes sees hunched over his laptop at his favorite coffee shop?

i think ted is a super cute name too !!! but it's not my real name, lol, it's actually nothing even close to my real name 😭 when i was little, my friends and i were kinda bad little kids, so we came up with 'codenames' to call each other when we knew we were someplace new, behaving badly, so nobody could track our guardians ( kind of a shit plan lol). Im a creature of habit so i kinda just use ted for incognito purposes. Im a very private person abt my irl cus of my job and location, which i feel bad abt smtimes bcs it definitely distances me somewhat from a lot of my internet friends who like being rlly close to other internet friends on a personal basis, but idk! ive just always been kinda private. i grew up in the 'big scary internet, don't tell anybody anything identifying' abt u age, so maybe that's why ! Idk. But ya, my real name isn't ted but i wish it was !! U can call me ted or teddy or jrueships, whatever u'd like. I don't mind! Also i don't mind the pronouns either! Ok, so I had this dream last night right? And it was mostly nonsensical and weird and silly, but there was this moment...

#ellennart #dream diary #fairy #dreams #pirate #I was the winged fairy girl at this point during a big battle #someone sliced me right down the front through my corset and dress #it was inspired I think by that fight in Zorro between Zorra and Elena #except NOT flirty dude was trying to kill me and sliced a wound down my chest #not super deep but still #and then this other guy #the one in the drawing #defected from the enemy side killed the other dude and very distressed tried to help me #which involved a very funny moment of him pulling my hands back to see the wound and realising my corset had been cut clean through #and us both getting extremely embarrassed and him pulling the corset back together and telling me to keep pressure on it #literally the most YA romantic comedy moment I've ever experienced #I think the main influences of this dream were that I recently watched a youtube reaction vid of someone watching Zorro for the first time #A drawing someone I follow did of that popular YA fae novel that I've never read #and looking at tangled concept art #and actually definitely the first aid course I did this week #because I remember them talking about how you need to cut clothing off someone to put the defib pads on their chest #and I was uncomfortable with the thought of someone having to do that to me #AND the fact I was paired with a cute guy I'd never met and we had to practice putting each other in the recovery position #which was SUPER awkward #so clearly my brain was like You know what would be fun? an even MORE awkward and painful scenario!#but make it fantasy!
