every time I see the fandom crashout over an idol enlisting I think of that one sports manga joke like. "oppa are you watching" oppa is fulfilling his government mandated military duty 😐
#'wonwoo I'll miss you so much' he is not dying babe. youre all acting like he has a terminal illness.#'I've been crying all day over the news' first of all. not dead. second of all shedding real tears over some guy enlisting is a bit much no#they don't know youuu come onnnnnn#I will bitch and moan over yjh not being there for concerts or whatever but at the end of the day it doesn't matter!!#he is some guy who is is doing social work at an office job and he will come back when he comes back#I don't have the energy to invest myself in someone to the point of emotional distress and neither should any of you ok#god help the fandom the day kim mingyu goes btw I just know it's not gonna be handled well at all#also it does feel lowkey weird and infantillizing sometimes the way fandoms talk about idols in the military#like 'what is my baby going to do in the trenches </3' that's a 28 year old man I think he can handle himself#that one bangtan tweet about jungkook needing his banana milk or whatever#every day I'm glad felix isn't going purely because I know half the response will be 'but he's my baby' NO HES NOT#seventeen#kpop

Ok I was going to put this in the tags but it was too long so uh
Look. Everyone is going to point to nate and say that obviously he's the normal one but you're WRONG. The series premiere he tells us he used to run game on criminals to get stolen merch back. We all saw what happened between s1 and s2. Not to mention his father, his childhood, and the fact he was going to be a priest. Nate Ford may be an unseasoned piece of plain white bread of a man, but he has never ever been 'normal.'
Sophie lives for the drama. The glamor. The chase. Her 'normal' would probably be retiring to a little island off the coast of Sicily in a mansion full of art she stole and every now and again going off to some charity event as whatever fake identity she feels like pulling out of the closet.
Parker never had a normal to start with, not that she'd ever want one. She was born to commit crimes. Not just raised to (Archie my nemesis) but she /chose/ crimes. The earliest memory we see is of her stealing. She loves it, she lives it. She'll be in a retirement home stealing tapioca pudding for the kicks.
Hardison would never even consider a 'normal' life, okay? He'd be insulted at the prospect. He's /gifted/. Hacking is an art and he is an artist. He is the greatest hacker in the world and takes so so so much pride in that. I don't think Hardison could stop hacking if you paid him.
But Eliot? I think not only is Eliot the only one capable of normalcy, but I think part of him craves it. It's important to note that of all of them, he didn't initially seek out his role of being a hitter. The rest of them chose their roles, but Eliot didn't sign up for his. He joined the army. He didn't do it for the violence either, he did it because he wanted to be like his dad. Then he was just too good at his job, and kept getting pulled down darker and darker roads by his commanding officers.
I fully believe Eliot had a totally different life planned out. He was going to join the army, marry Amy, have 2.5 kids and settle down, maybe inherit his dad's shop. In s4 he tells Nate that he used to be someone completely different "before all of this started." He wasn't born a killer or a hitter. He was a kid who joined the army and "had god in his heart" and, importantly, Eliot still keeps looking for the person he used to be. We never see the rest of them lamenting the 'good ole days,' we never hear hardison talk about before he learned to hack except that he played the violin before /choosing/ to hack instead. Of all of them, I think that if Eliot could go back in time and change it all he absolutely would.
Over and over we see Eliot bonding with every kid and middle class character in the series. He throws himself into his grifting roles- miner, chef, singer- because I think on some level he /wants/ that. He wants to be the chef who owns the lil restaurant down the street, the guy you could grab a beer with. He wants to settle down, maybe get married, and leave the violence behind (except maybe to play hockey or box). I'm not saying he doesn't like his life with them at all- I think that after all he's been through already that Leverage is probably the happiest ending he could get- but I am saying that the middle part, between the army and when we meet him s1, is probably something that makes Eliot genuinely hate himself. He didn't want to be a killer. He doesn't like it. He tries desperately to save Nate from what he couldn't save himself from. If he liked killing, liked any part of the wetwork he used to do, he wouldn't have quit. Wouldn't have tried so desperately to get away from it. He never wanted to be a killer, he was just so Good at it.
Eliot was the normal kid next door who got pulled into a life that he hated by people far far more powerful and dangerous than him, and I think that he regrets that every day.
Sophie: Who would live a normal life outside of this job?
Eliot: Me. It would be me.
Me: *thinking about it*
#TO BE CLEAR#I DO NOT THINK HE REGRETS MEETING THE TEAM#I THINK HE REGRETS THE EVENTS LEADING UP TO THAT#in case that was not clear enough#i think eliot hates himself :)#i think that every day he wishes he could go back in time and stop himself from enlisting :)#and i love him so much:)#he wants so so bad to just open a restaurant#but unfortunately his past actions have eliminated any chance of 'normalcy' for him forever and ever#and i will cry about it and write sosososo much angst about it#eliot angst is my favorite#eliot self-loathing angst is my VERY favorite#anyhoo op you are correct and i love you and you have GREAT taste in both tv shows and animated movies#(emperors new groove)#leverage#eliot spencer#sophie devereaux#nate ford#alec hardison#leverage parker#follow me for more eliot hating himself

ok ok how about mute?ghost who you aren't sure if he's actually mute or if he just chooses not to say anything. you hear a different answer from everyone you ask. (18+)
ever since mexico, wouldn't say a fucking word.
nah, mate, he's been zipped shut since he enlisted.
heard it was a mad accident.
what you mean? heard him telling off privates not even a year ago!
well, since you're a certified yapper, and ghost can't (won't) tell you to shut up, you make him your living diary. whenever you see him around, you sit next to him, stop by his office, hop up onto his desk and talk to him. you tell him about your day, about the recruits that bother you the most, about the meals in the mess hall being worse on saturdays than on mondays (fuck, you'd think the weekend would put some pep in their step, no?).
but gosh, when ghost finally had you seated in his lap with your pants around one ankle, you really weren't expecting to hear him.
pussy-drunk, tongue out, hands gripping your ass as he listens to the wet smack of your thighs against his, and that's all it takes for him to let out the filthiest groan you've ever heard, enough to make you spiral, see red-hot stars, to shake and cry until you're cumming and babbling and even more incoherent.
when they talk about ghost, you still keep your mouth shut. you're still not sure if he talks, fuck if i know, is what you say.
but if you suck his cock just right, you're certain he's singing.
#WHAT IS THIS?#IS THIS EVEN ANYTHING????#HAHAHA#simon ghost riley#simon riley#simon ghost riley x reader#simon riley x reader#simon riley x you#ghost mw2#ghost cod#ghost call of duty#ghost mwii#ghost x reader#cod#call of duty#simon riley smut#simon ghost riley smut#simon thoughts#ALSO for the record no he's not actually mute here#simon is just sick of people's SHIT so now he refuses to say anything

series m. list | main m. list
────୨ৎ────
The morning of jungkook's departure for his military service broke through, almost like the universe itself mourned for the separation.
You stood outside the recruitment center, the crowd around you full of chaos—families holding each other, lots of other recruits with their belongings looking sad and disliking the separation.
The air was thick with heavy grief.
And you could feel it press against your chest but all you could focus on was jungkook, your boyfriend, standing before you.
His presence intensifying all the emotions you were feeling.
His dark hair was slightly overgrown and messy from the restless passionate night you'd both spent.
His jaw was often set in a grumpy line when he faced the world.
To others he was almost unapproachable, a man who carried himself with intensity.
Pushing people away.
But with you he was completely different.
His dark eyes soften when they meet yours, filling with warmth that made your heart flutter, his smile—was yours alone.
A secret shared between you two.
To him you were his entire world, the one person who he could be himself with, who could unravel his distant personality and bring out the tender love he hid from everyone else.
Your hands tremble as you clutched his, fingers intertwining tightly.
A desperate attempt to hold onto him.
His hands were warm and calloused, his thumbs brushing over the backs of your hands in a slow, soothing motion.
As if he could take away the heartbreak inside you.
You leaned onto him, his scent enveloping you—clean male and his usual cologne.
It was a scent you were used to and it always surrounds you with safety and love, now it was a cruel reminder of what you were about to lose. His scent that will still linger in your clothes and your apartment once he's gone.
His absence undeniable.
“I don’t wanna go.” jungkook murmurs.
He leans down, pressing his forehead against yours, warm breath brushing over your lips.
The closeness was desperate.
He wished that he could stop time.
Plead for it.
His dark eyes search yours, filling with emotions—fear, love and anger at the separation none of you could stop.
“This is fucking torture, baby. I can’t do this… staying without you.”
Your throat tighten at his words, making it hard for you to swallow as tears welled in your eyes even though you promised him not to cry.
You could see the pain in his features, the way his brows furrowed and the way his lips trembled despite his efforts to stay strong for you.
“You’ll come back to me.” you whisper.
Voice quivering.
He lets out a shaky breath, hands moving to cup your face, thumbs brushing away the tears, his touch firm.
Grounding you.
Even though it felt like the world was crumbling around you.
“I promise, sweet girl. I’ll count every damn hour until I’m back holding you in my arms.”
His were were a vow
A lifeline.
You could hear the rumble of the bus in the distance, reminding you of the reality you both are going to face.
You looked at the other families clinging to each other for the last moment and everything was overwhelming for you, their sorrow matching your own.
“kookie…” you whimper.
Your fingers clutch the fabric of his shirt tightly, his heart pounding underneath your palm, a rhythm that seemed to increase now.
You press yourself closer as if you could mend your body to his, all while he's gripping your waist in such a tight grip it almost hurts, but it still wasn’t enough.
Like you could keep him from leaving.
“I’m scared. I’m so scared of what its gonna be like without you here.”
He pulled you into his arms, chin resting on the top of your head and you buried your face in his chest, inhaling his familiar scent.
Imprinting it in your memory.
“I’m scared too.” he admits.
His lips pressing on your cheek, voice raw and pained.
“I’m fucking terrified, baby, but you’re stronger than you think… you’re my brave girl and you’re gonna be okay, I’m going to be back before you even know it.”
“I’ll write to you every chance I get and call you whenever they let me. You're not losing me, you hear me? hmm?”
His words help with the ache in your chest and you tilted your head up, meeting his eyes, seeing the tears glistening in his eyes as well.
“Promise me you’ll be careful.” you breathe, shakily.
“I promise.” he said, fiercely.
His hands tightening on your face.
“I’ll come back to you… nothing’s gonna keep me away from you.”
The officer's voice came through, calling jungkook's name with an impatience that knotted your stomach, your knees getting weak as you clung to him.
Fingers digging harder into his chest, desperate to hold onto the moment.
“No, not yet please.” you beg.
His hand slides to your shoulders, gripping them.
“I don’t wanna let you go.”
His voice hoarse.
“Fuck, I’d give anything to stay here with you, to have you next to me...”
You sobbed as you buried your face in his chest again, his arms tightening around you, breath hitching as he pressed his lips to the top of your head.
“I love you.” you choked out.
Muffled in his chest, he holds you tightly, almost trying to anchor you to him.
“I love you more.” he says, fiercely.
He lifts your chin to meet his, eyes burning with a love so fierce.
That it stole your breath.
“You’re my only girl.”
His lips crash against yours, a kiss that was desperate, hungry and full of everything he couldn’t say.
His mouth was urgent, exploring everything and his minty taste fill your mouth.
An intimacy you’d shared so many times before.
His hands cup the back of your head, fingers tangling in your hair.
His hands cupped the back of your thighs, you got the gesture and jumped, causing him to pick you up.
Your legs wrapping around his waist as he pulls you closer.
The kiss was a moment of connection before the separation and he pours every ounce of love into it, your tears mixing with his as they fell.
Both of you tasting the salt of the tears.
His lips moving against yours spoke of the months apart, the nights that will be spent with longing for a love in the distance.
The officer called his name again, sharper this time and jungkook reluctantly pulled back, both your breaths ragged.
His eyes locked on yours, his hands lingering on your face, thumbs brushing over your cheeks one last time.
“Wait for me, love.”
His voice a growl.
“Always,” you promised.
“until I’m back in your arms”
He pressed one last kiss to your forehead, lips lingering and then he steps back, his hands slipping from yours, losing his touch.
It felt like a physical wound.
He grabbed his duffel bag, slinging it over his shoulder, his jaw clench tightly and he looks at you one last time.
You waved, covering your lips to muffle the cry.
He turns, his tall and strong figure sulking down in sadness as he walks towards the gate.
Soon the crowd swallows him and you watched until he disappeared, your chest hurting beyond words.
You stood there long after he was gone, the coldness setting in your body, no longer receiving the warmth his presence provided.
You turn away from the center, steps slow, heart heavy.
The world already felt emptier without him.
۶ৎ
The months that followed were full of longing.
jungkook's military service was taking up all his time and the communication was very rare.
You sometimes wrote letters to each other, pouring your heart onto the paper.
The letters contained the simplest details of your life as you describe the weather, the new candles you bought or the way you wore his oversized shirts to bed.
To feel closer to him.
His letters back were hurried in his messy handwriting, but each word was so full of love and adoration.
“I miss your laugh.”
He wrote in one.
“I miss the way you scrunch your nose when you’re shy. I miss holding you… I can’t breathe without you.”
Phone calls were very occasional.
Only when he got a break but it was never enough.
His voice always heavy with tiredness.
“I’m counting the days,” he says.
“You’re the only thing keeping me sane here, baby.”
You'd cry after each call, clutching the phone to your chest, his voice breaking you more.
The apartment felt too big without him, the silence too loud, his scent still lingers everywhere, especially on his pillow that gave you company in his absence.
It was fading, you realized but you’d bury your face in it every night, chasing even the bits of his scent.
As you wait.
Counting the days, clinging to the promise of his return.
Your love for him the only thing keeping you tethered.
۶ৎ
The day of jungkook's discharge arrives.
For him the military enlistment was a place with tiring months—full of orders, work and a deep ache for the life he’d left behind.
Now, standing at the first day of his freedom, his heart raced with a single all consuming thought: you.
jungkook adjusted the strap of his duffel bag, scanning the crowd that had gathered.
Waiting for their own reunion.
But as jungkook's eyes raked over the faces, his chest tightened with a growing panic.
You weren’t there.
The one face he needed to see.
The one that had kept him awake at night was nowhere to be found.
You promised to be here.
In every letter, every phone call, you’d told him that you’ll be the first thing he sees once he comes back.
The memory of your voice was still in his mind.
“I’ll be there, jungkook. I wouldn’t miss it for anything.”
He clung to those words but now, standing alone in the crowd of reunions, doubt came in.
Had something happened? were you hurt?
His fingers tightened around the strap of his bag as he forced himself to move forward, gaze darting left and right searching for your face and the way your eyes always seem to find his in a crowd.
Nothing.
He ran his hand through his hair, it was almost like a habit, one you'd always teased him about, saying he looked like a grumpy bunny when he did it.
You were his anchor.
His reason for enduring the sleepless nights, the training that sucked the soul out of him and the several days of separation
Without you here, it hurt him.
“Everything okay, soldier?”
A man that was with jungkook at the camp, another soldier he had a good interaction with.
“I don’t know…” jungkook admitted.
“My girl… she was supposed to be here.”
“Long time apart, huh? that’s alright, bet she’s waiting for you though... girls like to surprise you sometimes.” the man laughs.
jungkook forces a small smile.
“Yeah, maybe.” he whispers.
The man pats jungkook in the back before heading out.
jungkook decides to head out as well, knowing you are not here.
He approached closer to a cab, voice rough as he gave the address of your shared apartment.
The cab pulls away from the base.
He stared out the window as it was all familiar, he’d dreamed of this moment, returning back home.
Returning to you.
When the cab finally pulled up to the apartment, jungkook quickly came out, his heart hammering as his hands fumbled with the bills, paying the driver.
What if you weren’t there?
What if something had happened?
He slid the key into the lock, pushing the door open, stepping inside with urgency.
His duffel bag hits the ground.
It was quiet all over the apartment, your usual vanilla scent fills him, deepening the urge to see you.
You weren’t there.
“baby?” he calls out.
The stack of new books on the couch tightened his throat.
A reminder of the small promises left unfulfilled because of the separation.
He promised that he will listen to you read those aloud since he knew how much you loved reading novels and he loves hearing you read them to him just as much.
He finally reached the bedroom door, pushing it open, expecting you to be here.
He froze.
The sight before him stealing his breath.
There you were.
Laying on the bed, glowing with the slight sunlight from the window, the sheets on you did little to distract from the vision of you—naked and exposed.
Yet so breathtakingly beautiful.
All your curves exposed to him—the soft swell of your breasts and the curve of your hips, your hair down.
You look at him with wide eyes, full of shyness and also with longing that can be seen from the way your eyes glisten with tears.
Your eyes locked onto his, a flush on your cheeks, hands trembling slightly, betraying the nervous anticipation that was going through you.
Your nipples were hard, pebbled in the cool air and your legs were slightly parted.
A silent invitation that made his mouth go dry.
jungkook dropped to his knees beside the bed in front of you, his entire form filling with relief and desire.
His hands shook reaching for you, cupping your cheek as you closed your eyes, letting out a broken whimper at the feel of his touch after so long.
Your soft skin against his hand ached him with a fierce need.
Almost consuming him.
As his fingers trace your features, making sure that you were real and he wasn’t dreaming
His thumbs brushed away the tears that had gathered in your eyes, his own eyes watering.
“Fuck”
He breathes.
“Baby, you’re… you’re here.”
His eyes roam over you, drinking in every detail—your half lidded eyes, the way your breasts heaved with your shaky breaths.
Especially the way your lips part slightly, glistening with the faint trace of gloss.
His cock twitched in his uniform pants, the fabric suddenly too tight as he felt the heat through him.
He was hard, achingly so.
And the sight of you like this—waiting for him just as he’d dreamed—was taking up all the pent up frustrations and hunger he’d held back for months.
You sat up slightly, voice trembling with emotion.
“I wanted to surprise you.”
You whispered, eyes never leaving his.
“I read your letter, the one where you said… you wanted me waiting for you and I missed you, so I wanted to make it special.”
His heart clenched, his worry leaving him as he leans closer, forehead pressing against yours.
The scent of him immediately makes your heart race.
“I thought something happened to you.” he breathes.
A tear streamed down his face, mixing with yours and his grip on your face tightens as if making sure you were okay.
“I’m right here.” you croak.
Tears spilling down your cheek.
“I’m so sorry I scared you, koo.”
He shook his head, a guttural sound leaving his throat.
“Don’t apologize,”
“You’re here. You’re safe and that’s all that matters.”
His lips crashed against yours, no longer able to hold himself back, the kiss desperate, full of longing and relief after months apart.
His tongue slipped past your lips, tangling with yours, exploring all over.
That expressed exactly how much he missed you.
And how he won't ever let you go.
Your hands clutch at his uniform, bunching the fabric as you pulled him closer, needing to feel every inch of him.
His tongue coaxes out needy noises from you, making him groan in return, the sound sending a shiver down your spine.
His hands don’t stay still as they start roaming all over your body, tracing everywhere, his fingers trembling with the need to memorize you all over again.
He pulled back just enough to look at you, eyes intense.
“Waiting for me like this… my perfect girl.”
Your cheeks flush, a shy smile tugging at your lips despite the throb in your pussy.
“I wanna make you happy,” you whispered.
“I thought about you every day, kookie…”
He groans again, hands sliding down to your hips, gripping them as he pulls you closer to the edge of the bed.
“You have no idea what you do to me,” he growls.
“Seeing you like this… fuck, I’ve dreamt of this every night.”
You reach for him, fingers brushing against the hard planes of his chest through his uniform.
“I love you.” he whispers.
“I love you too.”
He kissed you again, softer this time but no less intense, lips moving against yours, hands sliding up to cup your face once again.
His hands slid down to your thighs, parting them gently and your breath hitched, body already responding to him.
Your pussy was wet, clit pulsing with need, the anticipation of his touch made you dizzy and he noticed.
He always does.
He takes in the sight of you before him.
Ready and waiting.
“Goddamn,” he murmurs.
“What am I gonna do with this girl?”
He leans down, lips brushing against your collarbone, leaving a trail of open mouthed kisses as his hands roam higher, cupping your breasts, weighing them.
His thumbs brush over your hard nipples, drawing a soft gasp from you.
You arched into his touch, hands clutching at his shoulders.
“jungkook…”
All the pleas and begs in his name alone.
jungkook stood, taking off his military uniform, discarding it on the floor, eyes never leaving yours.
His black undershirt strained against his muscular frame that was even broader now after months of working out and training in the military.
His dark eyes rake over your naked form sprawled across the sheets like an offering.
And he was about to devour you.
There was a faint sheen of sweat coating your body, breasts heaving from your pants as your thighs remained parted.
Just enough to reveal the glistening evidence of your arousal.
jungkook snarls, his cock pulsing painfully inside his uniform pants.
The sight of you—his sweet, shy girl, so vulnerable yet waiting for him—lights something primal in him.
His hands shook, reaching for the hem of his undershirt and he yanked the shirt over his head in one swift motion.
His chest full of hard muscles, abs even more prominent now and defined, glistening with sweat.
The tattoos were highlighted on his arm and his body also had scars from training.
All these only added to his rugged look.
“Fuck baby,” he rasped.
“Look at you…”
Your pussy clenched at the adoration in his voice as you shift on the bed, clutching the sheets, a teasing smile on your lips.
“I wanted to be pretty for you.” you croon.
His gaze softens for a moment, a flicker of tenderness breaking through the hunger.
“You’re always pretty,” he said.
“But this… this is fucking torture, I’ve been wanting this for months.”
He stepped closer, hands moving to the buckle of his belt, the metallic clink making your pulse race.
His fingers hurried as he unfastened his pants, shoving them down, only leaving his boxers on.
His bulge was very visible, a wet spot forming on the fabric from the precum beading out of him.
You press your thighs together at the sight of him, instinctively, a soft whimper escaping your lips.
jungkook noticed, lips curling into a smirk that was almost predatory.
“You want me, love?” he teased.
His voice rough.
He finally kicks off his pants and you can see his body, full of power and strength.
Such a stark difference compared to his body before.
And his cock twitched, watching you check him out like the way he was doing to you.
“Please… I need you.” you whisper.
He hums, the sound causing you goosebumps as he climbs onto the bed, his hands find your thighs, pulling you towards him.
Manhandling you.
You let out a squeak.
“Gonna make you feel good.” he husks.
Lips brushing your earlobe.
“I’m going to make up for every fucking day I couldn’t touch you.”
His hands slid up your sides, leaving heat trails in his wake. He paused at your breasts, cupping them and squeezing gently, thumbs rolling your nipples.
It sent a jolt straight to your core and you arched into him.
“jungkook…” You moan, softly.
His eyes locked on your breasts, thumbs continue circling the buds.
“These tits,” he grumbles.
“I’ve been thinking about them… so soft, so perfect.”
He pinched the nipples gently, flicking them and you let out a whine, hips bucking towards him.
He lowered his head, lips closing around one and you cried out, hands tangling in his short hair, tugging.
His mouth hot, sucking onto the sensitive bud and his tongue swirls with a fast pace that makes your toes curl.
You let out a broken moan, his teeth grazing lightly over your nipple.
“Oh god… jungkook”
He moved to your other breast, giving it the same attention, lips and tongue working in tandem.
His hand continues to knead the neglected one, pinching and tugging until you were writhing beneath him, bunching the sheets.
Your nipples swollen, glistening with his saliva and the sight seemed to drive him wild.
“mm… you’re so sensitive.”
A deep chuckle rumble from his chest, lips brushing your skin as he speaks.
You could feel the slickness pooling between your thighs, coating your folds.
Your lips remain parted, panting.
“Please.” you signed.
Your hands tugging at his hair.
“I need more…”
He smirks, tongue coming out to lick his bottom lip in a sensual way that has your eyes dilating.
“Oh, baby… I’m going to give you exactly what you want.”
His hands spread your thighs, as far as they would go, exposing your pussy to his hungry gaze.
The cool air against your heated skin makes you shiver, but the real shock came when his fingers brush against your soaked folds.
A grunt leaves his mouth, taking in your quivering pussy.
Your clit pulse harder under his gaze, his fingers sliding through your wetness, coating themselves in your slick.
He parts your folds, thumb brushing lightly over your clit.
“Oh!”
Your hips jerk upward.
“So fucking wet for me… you’ve been thinking of this, haven’t you?”
“Yes,” you admitted.
“Every night, koo, I touched myself thinking of you.”
His eyes flash with an animal need, he leans down, the smell of your arousal hitting him, making his nostrils flare.
“Good girl.” he hums.
His lips brushing your clit.
“Now let me take care of you the way you deserve.”
He didn’t tease for long.
His tongue lapped at your clit with slow strokes as you let out needy murmurs, thighs shaking.
He holds your legs apart tightly, almost bruising them in the process, something you don’t mind.
You'll look at the bruises later, admiring them.
His tongue circled your clit before his lips close around the throbbing nub, sucking hard and you cry out, hips thrusting against his mouth.
“Hahh, jungkook, mhmm—”
He focuses on your pussy, letting out growls of approval at your taste as he eats you out like a starved man.
He has been away from you for so long and all the overload need has turned him feral.
His tongue switched between different motions, from soft licks to sucks that made your vision blur.
He flattened his tongue, dragging it from your entrance to your clit, tasting every inch of you and you felt your orgasm building quickly.
Your hips rocked, chasing it, stomach knotting faster.
His hands grip your thighs and the sting of his nails digging into you only heightened your arousal.
You let out a shaky cry.
“Please don’t stop!”
You were only capable of begging and uttering his name.
He pulls back just enough to speak, lips glistening with your arousal, some dripping on his chin and the sight makes you look away in shame and embarrassment.
“Never.” he snarls.
He dove back in, tongue plunging into your entrance, fucking you with slow, deep thrusts that made you see stars.
He would alternate between fucking you with his tongue and sucking your clit.
It felt like a delicious torture.
You were a mess, couldn’t think straight as your body trembled.
Your hands found his hair again, tugging hard and he moaned against your pussy, the vibration pushing you closer to release.
He slid one hand up your thigh, fingers finding your entrance.
He teased you first, circling you with one finger, spreading your slickness all over your mound before pushing in slowly.
You gasped, clenching around his finger.
The intrusion almost felt foreign yet familiar after so long.
“So tight,” he huffs.
“I bet being away from you for so long made you tight all over again… gotta stretch this cunt for me.”
He added a second finger, stretching you and you yelped, head falling back against the pillow.
His fingers curled inside you to find that spot that makes you scream.
He pumped them slowly at first, his tongue still working your clit, sucking hard as his fingers fucked you.
You were in tears.
The dual sensation too much.
“Nghh, kookie!” you screamed.
Your body almost lifting off the bed as your orgasm crashed over you.
Your pussy pulsed around his fingers, clit throbbing against his tongue.
He didn’t stop.
His fingers pumping faster, his mouth sucking harder.
You sobbed, vision going white.
“jungkook, oh god, ahh—I’m coming!”
His tongue lapped up every drop of your release, groaning in approval as his fingers slowed but did not stop, drawing out your orgasm.
Until you were an oversensitive mess.
“That’s it,” he coaxed you.
“I missed this… you taste so good.”
You collapsed onto the bed, chest heaving with your pants, jungkook pulls out his fingers slowly, making you whimper.
He brought them to his lips, sucking them clean, his eyes never leaving yours.
The sight making your pussy clench again.
A fresh wave of arousal pooling between your thighs.
He crawls up your body, lips finding yours and you tasted yourself on his tongue, mixing with his saliva and you moaned into his mouth.
Your hands roaming his broad back, feeling the hard muscle under his skin.
“I missed you.” you whispered.
Voice hoarse from screaming
“I missed you too, sweet girl.”
His voice rough with emotion.
He kneels between your legs, taking off the only garment covering his body, his boxers slide down as he throws them somewhere in the room.
Your eyes were closed, body still trembling from the orgasm he'd just given you, trying to catch your breath.
Your nipples still ached from his earlier attention.
You open your eyes slightly to meet his, his pupils blown wide with lust as he looks down at you.
You inhale sharply as you look at his cock standing proudly and heavy, like a promise of what's about to come.
It was thick, veiny and the tip flushed, glistening with precum that beaded at the tip.
The sight of it made your mouth water, throat going dry.
Your clit pulse as well looking at his thrashing length and you fisted the sheets in need.
It was bigger than you remembered.
The months of absence made it seem almost intimidating, his throbbing cock proving how desperately he wanted you.
You sat up.
Reaching for him, fingers trembling as they wrapped around his cock.
You felt the hardness of him along with the throb as you started stroking him slowly, thumb brushing over the tip, spreading the precum and making him hiss, his hips jerking.
“Fuck, my love,” he grunts.
“Your hands...”
You licked your lips, meeting his eyes.
“I wanna taste you.” you purr.
Your voice was shy but still laced with a boldness that surprised even you.
His eyes almost turn pitch black, a growl rumbling from his chest.
“Then take me,” he urges.
“Suck my cock like you mean it.”
You didn’t hesitate.
Leaning forward, you press a soft kiss to the tip, tasting the saltiness reminding you of the past memories where he guided you in the way he likes.
You both knew each other's body like the back of your hands.
Knowing exactly how to please the other, knowing what makes the others eyes roll at the back of their heads.
His hands tangling in your hair, not pushing but guiding but still holding back to take things at your pace, which you understood from his hold.
You take him into your mouth, tongue swirling around the head as his heavy cock fill your mouth.
You sucked gently at first, lips sliding down his shaft tracing the vein that pulsed beneath.
“Oh god…”
He hissed, head falling back as you looked up at him to see his adam's apple bobbing with his gulp.
The sight made your thighs clench, bare giving you any relief.
“Always so fucking good at pleasing your man.”
You moaned around him at his praise, the vibration making his hips buck and you knew from his actions that he wanted you to take him deeper.
You took him as far as you could, throat constricting as you fought the urge to gag, eyes watering.
But determined.
Your hand wrap around the base, stroking what your mouth couldn’t reach as your other hand cupped his balls, rolling them gently.
Feeling their weight, his grip tightens in your hair.
“Just like that, baby,” he grits out.
“You’re gonna kill me.”
You pulled back slightly as your tongue swirls around the head again, sucking hard and his husky growls were driving you crazy.
Each sound sends a jolt to your core.
You could feel yourself getting wetter, aching for his touch.
Any friction.
You tried to ignore your needs and focused on bobbing your head, setting a rhythm, his cock twitching in your mouth, hips thrusting slightly.
And you hollowed your cheeks, sucking harder, wanting to drive him as wild as he'd driven you.
But jungkook wasn’t content to let you have all the control.
“I need to taste you again.” he scoffs.
His voice fill with urgency as he pulls you off his cock with a gentle tug, his hands guiding you to straddle his face with your back facing him.
Before you could react.
You gasp, clutching his muscled body as he positioned himself so his cock hovered over your mouth, the tip brushing your lips while his face settled between your thighs.
His breath hot against your pussy that was still dripping from your earlier release.
The sight of him—his cock so close—made your mouth water again and you didn’t waste any time reaching up and guiding his cock back into your mouth.
Sucking eagerly.
At the same time his tongue finds your pussy, you moaned around his cock, his lips closing around your clit, sucking gently and you bucked your hips.
Your body struggling to maintain the overwhelming sensation.
He groans against your pussy, the vibration sending shockwaves through you while you can’t keep up with sucking his cock.
Now moaning against it.
His tongue relentless as he teased the sensitive bud before sliding to your entrance, gathering the arousal there.
“Oh shit, ahmm—”
You gasp, his nose nudging your clit.
“I could drown in you.” he says.
Voice muffled.
You tried focusing on his cock and not on what a squirming mess he was driving you into, cock sliding deeper into your mouth as he thrusts gently.
Your tongue swirling as you stroke the base, sputtering, eyes watering.
Your arousal drips onto his tongue.
You were basically riding his nose now, his tongue curling inside you was too much and you were letting out choked whimpers and moans around his cock.
His hands held you open and the wet sounds of his mouth against your pussy mingled with the sounds of your mouth on his cock.
Creating a lewd music that fills the room.
“kookie,” you sob.
“You’re gonna make me come again… stop please.”
He doesn’t stop his tongue moving faster, fucking you deeper, his movements feral as you didn’t back down as well, even though your thighs were shaking.
You took him back into your mouth, sucking hard as you deep throated him and you gagged, stroking while his tongue and lips drove you closer.
You both were lost in each other, giving and taking in equal measure while he fucked your mouth and worshipped your pussy.
Controlling you in all ways.
You came first, body arching, your sobs muffled on his cock, tears leaving your eyes as he laps up every drop.
You pulled off his cock, body shaking uncontrollably.
Your orgasm left you weak but you didn’t stop pumping his cock and he groaned, thrusting harder into your mouth, chasing his release.
“Fuck, baby, I’m close.” he pants.
You knew he was near from the throb of his cock.
You let out a needy whine around him and the vibration was enough to push him over the edge, cum spilling into your mouth, coating your tongue.
You swallowed eagerly, savoring the taste of him, tongue working until he let out a growl.
His hand cupping the back of your head.
You collapse in his arms, his chest heaving as you both lay there for a moment catching your breath, your bodies still humming with the aftershocks.
He pecked your lips, giving you the taste of both of you.
“I’ve missed this… missed us.” he whispers.
You hum, eyes watering, fingers tracing the lines of his tattoos as his hand soon starts roaming your body again and you know this is only the beginning of the night.
The hunger between you far from sated.
You both craved more.
jungkook hovered above you and you still felt your release dripping down your thighs, pooling on the sheets.
He breathes hard, taking you in naked and spread out for him, breasts still rising and falling.
“I need you inside me.” you whimpered.
Your voice filled with need.
A low growl rumbles from his chest as he positions himself between your thighs, the bed creaking under his weight.
“I’m gonna give you everything, love.” he promised.
“Fuck you so good... make you feel how much I missed you.”
He grips his cock, hand wrapping around the base and rubbed the tip against your slick folds, teasing your clit with slow strokes.
You gasp under the pressure, cunt clenching in anticipation.
You didn’t want teasing.
“Oh god, koo…” you huff.
Nails digging into his shoulder, he drags his cock through your slit, coating himself in your wetness.
Your pussy was swollen and ready.
The months of being apart have left you hypersensitive.
Even the slightest contact of his length sent sparks of pleasure through you.
You gave him pleading eyes, tears dropping.
He didn’t make you wait any longer, his own restraint fading and he pushed into you with a slow thrust, cock penetrating your pussy, inch by inch.
It was too much.
A delicious burn while your walls adjust for him, tightening further on him.
A cry of pain and pleasure leaves you.
He groaned, head falling to your shoulder as he bottoms out, cock buried to the hilt.
“Shit,”
“You’re so tight… so perfect around me.” he husks.
His cock pulsed inside you, hips rocking slowly at first, each thrust taking him deeper.
With each thrust of him, you let out “ohs” and clench the bedsheets.
“You like that, hm?” he asks.
“Like how my cock feels inside this little pussy?”
“Yes.” you sobbed.
Voice high and needy, hips rocking to meet his thrusts.
“Please don’t stop!”
He growls, his thrusts pick up their speed as his hips snap against yours.
The sound of skin slapping against skin filling the room.
His tip almost brushes your cervix, making you see stars behind your vision.
He grumbles, his eyes locked on where his cock disappears into your pussy, puffy folds stretched around him and the quivering nub just above it.
“Taking me so well like a good naughty girl” he tsks.
He leans down, plunging his tongue into your mouth while his tongue performed the same sex act that his cock was giving you.
You struggle to breathe, just mumbling expletives while scratching his back.
Your breasts bounce with each thrust and he noticed, his hand sliding up to cup one, fingers pinching and rolling your nipple.
He leans down, sucking onto one and you cry out, arching your back as your pussy clenches on him rhythmically.
You were drooling now, brows furrowed.
You were mindless, not capable of feeling anything but the pleasure he was igniting inside you.
“jungkook. jungkook. jungkook.”
You chanted his name, voice breaking.
You didn’t know if you wanted him to slow down or keep going, his thrusts relentless now, cock pounding you while his balls slap against your ass.
He fucks you like a man possessed.
His cock was hitting your g-spot with every stroke, you were screaming now, biting into the sheets to ground yourself.
“You’re gonna cum for me?” he rasps.
His hands slide down to rub your clit, fingers circling it in tight fast circles and the added stimulation was breaking you, pussy clenching around him so tightly.
He hissed.
His thrusts faltering slightly.
“Come on my cock, sweetheart… let me feel you.”
“Ahh, hnn I’m gonna—”
Your words were cut off with a scream that ends with a wail as your orgasm hit you.
Pussy spasming around his cock.
Your walls milking him with you release
Your body shook, nails digging on his back, almost drawing blood.
“Shh, that’s it.” he calms you.
Even though his voice was strained from chasing his release, thrusts growing harder.
He kisses you, swallowing your moans and cries as he fucked you through your orgasm and he finally came, his cum hot and thick, filling you with spurts and spurts of it.
He moans your name, hips jerking as he empties himself, gripping your hips tight.
“Mine,” he growls.
“All fucking mine.”
Your forehead meeting his, both your breaths shaky and you cling to him, body spent.
Both of you didn’t have the strength to separate the connection.
Your pussy still pulsing around his softening cock that was filling you, grounding you both in this moment.
You lay there tangled together.
Both your bodies slick with cum and yet the room was filled with love.
“Always only yours, jungkook”
You murmur before your eyes fall closed.
۶ৎ
The room was filled with the smell of sex and sweat from your earlier intimacy and the sheets completely damp beneath you both.
jungkook's chest rose and fell steadily against your back, arms encircling you, one hand laying possessively across your stomach.
His fingers tracing small patterns that sent shivers across your skin.
You shifted slightly, turning in his arms to face him and the movement drew a low groan from his throat, his eyes fluttering open to meet yours.
His eyes were heavy with exhaustion, no hunger, that was present just a few moments ago, lips swollen from hours of kissing and he was still sweaty all over.
And you knew you probably look worse but he looked at you like you were the most beautiful woman in the world.
He always does.
The sight of him so close and so real after months of absence almost felt unreal.
It was like a dream.
Him beside you.
“Still awake, baby?”
He rumbles as his lips curve into a soft, sleepy smile, only reserved for you.
He reaches out, brushing a strand of hair from your face, fingers lingering on your cheek.
“Couldn’t sleep.” you murmur.
Your voice was shy now, a contrast to the boldness of your earlier actions and you ducked under his gaze, pressing your face into the crook of his neck.
He chuckled deeply.
“Don’t leave me again…” you breathe.
All the earlier giggles faded as a seriousness took over you, eyes glistening.
His arms tighten around you, pulling you impossibly closer, his hard chest pressing against your bare breasts and your oversensitive nipples grazing him still sent jolts of sparks through you.
“I’m not going anywhere.” he said fiercely.
“Not now. Not ever. You're stuck with me, babygirl.”
He pecks your nose, the action precious.
“I’ve waited too fucking long to be here with you and I’m finally home.”
The word “home” hit you and your throat tightened.
You tilted your head up, kissing him as you both tasted the salt and arousal from earlier doings.
He brought one of your thighs up, wrapping it around his waist, branding himself in you.
jungkook pulls back, eyes searching yours.
“Every day in that lonely fucking place. I thought of you… you kept me going.”
His hand slid up to cup your face and you felt the tremor in his touch.
“I’d go through it again if it means I get to be here with you.”
۶ৎ
The night stretched on with several positions and lots of whispered love confessions.
“I love you.”
He’d said with every thrust.
“So fucking much”
Your hands clutched his, fingers intertwining.
As dawn crept through the curtains, you lay together, bodies spent but your hearts full.
jungkook held you close and you smiled, body aching but sated as you rested against him.
“I’m back in your arms,” he whispers.
“And I’m never leaving you again.”
The night had been a desperate, hungry reunion as you both made up for all the lost time.
And now as you drifted to sleep in his arms, the world outside faded, leaving only the two of you.
Bound by love
And a promise of forever.

Coming back to you - Jeon Jungkook

summary: you loved him while he was away, you loved him from far away. And now hes finally back.
Being in a secret relationship with Jungkook as his Make up Artist is not that easy, especially when you´re just waiting for his return.
pairing: idol jungkook x reader
genre: love, return from the military, cute, they´re just so in love
author's note: how can the time already be over? I´m so happy. I wrote this, this morning so don´t be to harsh on me :D
The BigHit building buzzed with quiet excitement, a kind of electricity in the air that only came when something huge was about to happen. Tomorrow wasn’t just another day—it was the day.
After what felt like an eternity, Jungkook and Jimin were finally being discharged from the military.
And you? You had the most important job of all.
Not only had you been BTS’s trusted makeup artist for the past few years—working with them through albums, concerts, and chaotic shoots—but you were also Jungkook’s secret.
Your secret relationship with him had started quietly, somewhere between powder brushes and soft eye contact in mirror reflections. Late-night texts turned into long walks. And before you knew it, he was yours, and you were his.
But today, there was no time to be sentimental.
“Y/N, do you have the list?” Namjoon called out from across the practice room, balancing a clipboard in one hand and holding a streamer in the other.
“Yeah, I’ve got it!” you answered, double-checking your notes. “And I picked up the cake this morning from that bakery Jungkook loves. Banana-flavored, right?”
Hoseok grinned, walking past with a handful of balloons. “You’re seriously amazing. He’s going to cry.”
“I hope not,” you laughed. “His contact lenses won’t survive that.”
Taehyung entered the room next, lugging a giant cardboard box full of decorations. “I got the banner! And the photo wall materials. Should we do it next to the window, or—?”
“Let’s set it up where the lighting’s better,” you said, already heading to help him. “You know how picky Jimin is about pictures.”
As the others moved around you, hanging garlands and preparing the playlist, you quietly checked off tasks in your head.
✅ Cake
✅ Drinks
✅ Decorations
✅ Playlist
✅ Gifts
Oh—and Jimin’s bag. You had picked it up for him, along with his uniform accessories. You made sure everything was perfectly folded, tucked into a duffel by the door, ready for tomorrow morning.
You paused, brushing a bit of glitter off your sleeve, glancing toward the small gift you hadn’t dared show the others. A small silver bracelet with Jungkook’s enlistment date engraved on it… and yours, next to his, in smaller print. You’d worn it every day since he left. Tomorrow, you’d finally give it to him.
You exhaled slowly, a soft smile pulling at your lips.
It didn’t feel real yet. But tomorrow, he’d walk through that door. The wait would finally be over.
And no one—not even the fans—knew the truth behind your excitement.
Tomorrow, the world would see BTS’s Golden Maknae return.
But only you would see the man you loved come home.
The HYBE building had never felt like this before.
There was always movement—staff hurrying, stylists adjusting lighting, choreographers shouting counts from practice rooms—but today was different. Today, it felt like a storm was brewing.
The Golden Maknae and the angel-voiced Park Jimin were coming home.
And you? You were right in the eye of the storm.
“Y/N, where are the black ribbons? They were in Box B!” someone shouted behind you.
“Box B is in Studio 3!” you called back, clutching two cups of coffee, a checklist, and a roll of tape in your other hand.
You hadn’t slept much last night. Honestly, you hadn’t really slept well in months.
Because even though Jimin was like a little brother to you, this wasn’t just about BTS returning to full strength.
It was him.
Jungkook.
You hadn’t seen him in person for months. Sure, you exchanged the occasional encrypted text. . A grainy selfie with his buzzed hair and sleepy eyes.
But nothing beat standing in front of him, close enough to hear the way he said your name like it meant more than just three letters.
Only the members knew. RM had found out first—he always did—and eventually, the others caught on. It had been unspoken between you all: protect this secret at all costs. Dating an idol as staff wasn’t just frowned upon. It was forbidden. A one-way ticket out the door.
But the moment Jungkook told you he was willing to wait, you knew you’d do the same.
And now… that wait was finally over.
“Y/N!” Taehyung’s deep voice pulled you back. He was standing at the entrance of the practice room, holding up his phone. “They just arrived. They’re on their way here!”
A chorus of reactions erupted.
“Ten minutes?!”
“Did someone check the microphones?!”
“Where’s Jimin’s jacket?!”
You were already moving—handing over coffees, adjusting decorations, shoving Jungkook’s duffel bag just slightly to the left so it would be the first thing he saw. Your heart was racing in your chest, matching the rhythm of footsteps echoing through the building.
Only minutes now.
You felt Seokjin gently nudge your shoulder as he passed. “You okay?” he asked, voice low, careful.
You nodded, swallowing the lump in your throat. “I will be. When I see him.”
Hoseok smiled knowingly. “You’re glowing. He’s going to lose his mind.”
Suddenly, the building’s atmosphere shifted.
The elevator dinged.
Silence fell like a heavy blanket.
And then: footsteps.
You stepped back, breath held, heart hammering, eyes locked on the hallway outside the studio.
The door opened.
Jimin entered first, smiling wide, dressed in his military uniform, looking tired but happy. He opened his arms, greeting everyone like the prince he was.
And then came him.
Jungkook.
Hair slightly longer now, military cap in hand, uniform perfect. His eyes scanned the room—and when they landed on you, the world stopped.
For a split second, the chaos faded. The balloons, the cake, the flash of cameras, the staff whispering—all of it disappeared.
You didn’t speak.
You didn’t have to.
His eyes softened, just a little. The corner of his mouth lifted. That tiny look only you ever saw.
He was home.
His scent hit you before anything else. That warm, clean smell mixed with something distinctly him—even after such a long time.
Jungkook made his way through the room, hugging each staff member, bowing deeply, thanking them one after one. His smile was beaming, but his eyes were tired.
You stood near the back, pretending to adjust a mic cable that absolutely didn’t need adjusting.
Don’t shake. Just breathe. Don’t look like a love-struck idiot.
He was two hugs away.
Then one.
And then—
“Y/N,” he said softly, and you turned just in time to see his arms open.
There was no time to think.
You stepped forward, and he pulled you in for a quick hug—shorter than the others, less obvious—but his hand lingered just a second longer on your lower back. His breath ghosted near your ear as he whispered, too quiet for anyone else to hear:
“I missed you.”
Your heart nearly stopped, but you smiled politely, nodded, and stepped back, eyes lowered. “Welcome back,” you said quietly, your voice way too calm for the storm inside you.
He gave nothing away, not even in his expression. Golden Maknae mode fully activated.
You tried to focus as Jimin waved everyone toward Studio A, where the livestream was set to begin in fifteen minutes.
“Let’s go!” Namjoon called. “We’ll run audio while they change jackets.”
Everyone moved in sync.
You stayed close, like always, clipboard in hand, headset in place, watching them through the control booth window as they sat down, fixing their collars and joking about how weird it felt to be out.
And Jungkook—he kept glancing at the glass. At you.
You stood behind the main camera now, pretending to go over notes with the lighting team.
But you weren’t fooling anyone—especially not yourself.
Your whole body buzzed. You were giddy, jittery, anxious, overwhelmed.
He’s here. He’s actually here.
The way he had looked at you—the softness, the heat, the unspoken history between you—none of it had faded. It was all still there, hiding in his glances, in the calm stillness of how he carried himself.
And god, you wanted to run to him. Just for five minutes. Just to say everything you weren’t allowed to say.
But now?
Now, he was BTS’s Jungkook again. And you were just the staff.
So, you did what you always did: you kept working.
Even if your fingers shook.
Even if your cheeks burned.
Even if your heart was screaming his name.
The studio lights were warm and bright, casting that perfect glow on Jimin and Jungkook as the livestream began.
They looked… different. Grown. Sharper. Stronger.
But their laughter was still the same—soft, contagious, filled with inside jokes and memories you could only imagine from the past 18 months.
Jimin leaned forward, eyes sparkling as he teased Jungkook about almost crying during their farewell ceremony.
“Ya! I didn’t cry,” Jungkook argued, his voice deep, playful. “It was allergies.”
“Sure it was,” Jimin smirked, nudging him. “Military dust, right?”
The staff chuckled behind the cameras. You stood to the side, arms crossed tightly over your chest, pretending to check your phone. But really, you were just watching him.
Every smile.
Every gesture.
Every time his tongue peeked out as he laughed, or when he tucked his hair behind his ear—things you used to see up close, in quiet hotel rooms and stolen moments.
It was torture and comfort all at once.
And you didn’t even notice you were staring until someone cleared their throat beside you.
Namjoon.
He didn’t say anything—just raised his brows with a knowing smirk. His arms were crossed too, and his eyes flicked between you and Jungkook before returning to you.
You blinked, flustered. “What?”
Namjoon leaned a little closer, lowering his voice so no one else would hear. “Your face is giving you away.”
You felt your cheeks heat instantly. “I’m just—monitoring. You know. Makeup, lighting…”
“Mhm,” he hummed. “Very professional.”
You elbowed him gently, half-laughing, half-dying inside. “Shut up.”
Namjoon smiled wider but backed off with a small shrug, as if to say, I won’t tell… this time.
You needed to breathe.
“I’ll be right back,” you mumbled, already stepping away. “Bathroom.”
Namjoon didn’t stop you—he just nodded knowingly as you slipped out of the room, your heart pounding in your ears.
Once in the hallway, you leaned back against the wall, closing your eyes.
You had handled months of separation. You had handled secrets and silence and waiting.
But handling him, in the same building again, so close and yet so untouchable?
That was something else entirely.
The hallway was quiet.
Too quiet compared to the buzz of the studio. Your heart was still racing, your skin still warm from the way Namjoon had looked at you like he knew. Like they all knew. Like he was just waiting for you to break.
You weren’t sure how long you’d been out here. A few minutes? Maybe more. The voices and laughter from the livestream had faded behind closed doors, and your own thoughts had taken over.
He’s here.
He’s safe.
He’s right there.
And yet—you couldn’t touch him.
Not really. Not yet.
You exhaled slowly, about to head back inside when—
Footsteps.
Heavy boots, confident steps. You knew them instantly.
You didn’t have to look to know it was him.
Jungkook.
The moment your eyes met, the air shifted. The hallway suddenly felt too small. Too quiet. Too full.
He didn’t say anything at first. Just looked at you like he was making sure you were real. His uniform jacket hung open now, and his hair was slightly tousled from pulling off his mic.
And then—he smiled.
Not the public smile. Not the one from the livestream.
This one was just for you.
“You ran away,” he said softly, voice rough from laughter and emotion.
You smiled back, heart thudding so hard it hurt. “Maybe.”
He took a few steps closer, then stopped—checking the hallway quickly, like old habits kicking in. Still cautious, still hiding.
But when he was sure no one was around, he reached for you.
You didn’t hesitate.
You crossed the last step between you and wrapped your arms around him, burying your face in his chest as he held you tight—so tight like he was afraid to let go.
God, he felt solid. Warm. Real. Like every second of waiting had finally led here.
“I missed you so much,” you whispered against his shirt, your voice barely holding steady.
His hand slid up your back, resting gently at the nape of your neck. “I thought about you every damn day,” he said, low and rough. “Every day, Y/N.”
You pulled back slightly, just enough to look up at him. His eyes searched yours, and you knew—he wanted to kiss you.
But he didn’t.
He couldn’t.
Not here.
So instead, he pressed his forehead against yours, eyes fluttering closed. “I’m home now,” he breathed. “We made it.”
You nodded, tears pricking behind your eyes. “Yeah. We did.”
And in that quiet, stolen moment—hidden between the walls of the company that wouldn’t approve of any of this—you finally breathed again.
Together.
The livestream had ended with cheers and laughter. Staff clapped, cameras powered down, and the room buzzed with post-shoot energy.
Jungkook and Jimin were surrounded by staff, all offering congratulations, handshakes, pats on the back. They took it all with grace, but their eyes were tired—especially Jungkook’s.
You stood off to the side again, pretending to review the footage on a monitor while your heart pulled in two different directions.
He was right there.
But you couldn’t go with him.
“Let’s go eat!” Taehyung called suddenly, grinning and throwing an arm around Jimin. “Gopchang and soju, my treat!”
“Ya, your treat?” Seokjin scoffed. “We’ll be waiting until next payday.”
Jimin laughed, tossing his cap onto a table. “I’m in. I want fried chicken and kimchi stew.”
Namjoon turned to Jungkook. “You coming?”
Jungkook looked up, glancing instinctively in your direction.
He didn’t say anything out loud. He didn’t have to.
The way his eyes softened, the tiniest flicker of disappointment flashing behind his expression—it was enough.
You gave him a small smile, one you hoped said I’m okay. Don’t worry.
Then you turned to the others, keeping your voice light.
“I’ll stay behind and help with cleanup. You guys go ahead.”
Jungkook opened his mouth like he wanted to say something. Maybe to argue. Maybe to ask you to come anyway. But he didn’t.
He just nodded slowly and picked up his jacket.
That moment burned a little. You wanted to go. God, you wanted to sit beside him at the table, hear him laugh, feel his knee brush yours under the table like before. But that wasn’t your place. Not publicly.
Then—
“Wait,” Jimin said, suddenly pausing at the doorway. He turned to Jungkook, then to you, then back to the group. “You all go. Jungkook and I will meet you later.”
Taehyung blinked. “Huh? Why?”
Jimin just shrugged with a sly little smile. “I forgot my bag. And I need to stop by Y/N’s place to grab some stuff.”
He looked at you. “You’re going home, right?”
You caught the look in his eyes. The message behind the casual tone.
He was giving you a way out. A cover.
You nodded slowly. “Yeah. I’m heading back now.”
“Perfect,” Jimin said, already nudging Jungkook. “We’ll meet at her place first. I’ll bring chicken. And beer.”
There was a moment of pause before Seokjin narrowed his eyes. “You two are suspicious.”
“We’re tired,” Jimin said dramatically, already ushering Jungkook away. “Let us rest first. Then we party.”
Namjoon laughed. “Fine, fine. But don’t take too long. And don’t fall asleep!”
As the others disappeared down the hallway, you and Jungkook fell into step behind Jimin.
Your fingers brushed for just a second.
And for the first time in forever, you didn’t have to pull away
Jimin was true to his word.
He showed up at your apartment 30 minutes later, arms full of takeout bags and a six-pack of cold beer. Jungkook trailed behind him, freshly showered, in a hoodie and sweats—but he may as well have walked in wearing a crown for how your heart reacted.
The apartment filled with warmth and laughter. You ate on the floor around your coffee table, beer cans opening one by one as Jimin told story after story from their time in the military.
Jungkook didn’t say much—he was too busy watching you. Every glance. Every smile. Every time you laughed a little too loud at Jimin’s jokes, his eyes flicked over to you like he was memorizing it.
And you felt it too.
That magnetic pull between you. The silent countdown behind every look. The we’re not alone yet tension curling in your stomach.
Jimin leaned back eventually, yawning loudly. “Alright,” he groaned, stretching. “My social battery’s gone. I’m heading out before I pass out on your floor.”
“You sure?” you asked, even though your heart was racing.
“Oh, I’m sure,” Jimin said with a knowing look. “You two probably need some… catching up time.”
Jungkook threw a pillow at him, laughing. “Hyung!”
Jimin dodged it, grinning as he grabbed his jacket. “Just lock the door behind me. And don’t be loud.” He winked. “Your neighbors probably like their sleep.”
You flushed. Jungkook groaned.
And then the door clicked shut.
Silence.
Just you and him.
The second the lock slid into place, you turned—and Jungkook was already there, closing the distance between you in two long strides. His hands were on your waist, pulling you in, and then—
You kissed him.
Hard. Desperate. Months of distance crashing into one kiss that felt like breathing again after being underwater too long.
He groaned against your mouth, his hands slipping under your shirt, warm and searching. Your fingers tangled in his hair, tugging gently, and he pressed you back until your spine hit the wall.
“I thought I’d go insane without you,” he murmured, lips brushing against your jaw, your neck, your collarbone.
“You did,” you whispered back, tugging his hoodie off, breathless. “We both did.”
His mouth was on yours again in a second, hungrier now, like he couldn’t get enough. And you didn’t care. Not about the job. Not about the rules. Not about tomorrow.
Just this.
Just him.
Home.
The moment your back hit the wall, it was like a dam broke.
All those months apart — every aching night, every word unsaid, every kiss only imagined — crashed down in the space between heartbeats. Jungkook kissed you like he was starved, like he couldn’t decide where to touch first because he wanted all of you at once.
His hands were everywhere — your waist, your back, the slope of your neck. You pulled him closer, needing him closer, clinging to him like the last thread of something sacred.
“Bedroom,” you breathed between kisses.
He nodded once, jaw clenched, eyes dark with need.
You barely made it.
Clothes disappeared in a rush — hoodie over his head, your shirt peeled off, jeans undone with fumbling hands and impatient mouths. He paused only once, looking down at you like he was seeing you for the first time again.
“God,” he whispered, fingers brushing over your bare skin like he was afraid you’d vanish. “You’re real. You’re here.”
You nodded, heart pounding so loud you could feel it in your throat. “I waited for you.”
“I know.” His voice cracked, just a little. “I’ll make up for it.”
And he did.
Jungkook took his time — worshipped every inch of you like a man trying to memorize a dream. His mouth left a trail of fire down your neck, your chest, the dip of your waist. He moved like he knew your body — where to touch, where to kiss, how to pull that soft gasp from your lips that drove him crazy.
His skin was warm against yours, hard muscle meeting soft curves, and every second was filled with whispered confessions between tangled sheets:
“I missed this.”
“I missed you.”
“You’re mine.”
“You always have been.”
And when he finally sank into you, it wasn’t just physical — it was everything. A reunion. A release. A promise.
Your bodies moved in sync, slow at first, deep, unhurried. Like time had stopped just for you two. Like the whole world had faded except this one room, this one night, this one love.
“Say my name,” he murmured against your skin, breath hot and ragged.
“Jungkook,” you moaned, fingers digging into his shoulders. “Please—don’t stop.”
“Never,” he growled, moving faster now, lips capturing yours again. “I’m not letting you go again. Not now. Not ever.”
And when you both finally shattered — together, breathless and trembling, your bodies slick with sweat and love and months of longing — he held you.
Tight. Close. Like he still didn’t fully believe it was real.
And in that silence after, the only sound was his heartbeat beneath your ear, fast and steady.
“Mine,” he whispered again, kissing your temple. “All mine.”
You didn’t answer.
You didn’t need to
You woke to warmth.
Not just the kind that came from sunlight pouring through the thin curtains — but the kind that came from him. Skin against skin, tangled limbs beneath your blanket, the slow, steady rhythm of his breath against the back of your neck.
Jungkook.
His arm was wrapped tightly around your waist, bare chest pressed to your back, his leg hooked lazily over yours. You could feel the slight rise and fall of his body, his heart beating softly behind you.
For a moment, you just lay there. Eyes closed, lips parted in a sleepy smile, memorizing the feeling of his body against yours again. It was quiet. Still. Like the world had pressed pause.
And then you felt him shift — just slightly — and his lips brushed the top of your shoulder.
“You’re awake,” he whispered, voice low and raspy from sleep.
“Mmm,” you hummed, turning your face toward him. “Barely.”
He smiled into your skin, nosing gently against your neck. “Good. I didn’t want to wake up alone.”
You rolled over slowly to face him. His hair was a mess, falling into his eyes. His face was soft, eyes still heavy with sleep. And god, he looked so good like this — vulnerable, real, yours.
“I still can’t believe you’re here,” you said softly, brushing your fingers along his jaw.
He caught your hand and kissed your knuckles. “I’ve never slept so well in my life.”
You laughed a little, pulling the blanket higher. “Probably because you’re not being yelled at by a sergeant anymore.”
“True,” he said, grinning. “Also helps that I’ve got the best pillow now.”
“You’re ridiculous.”
“I’m yours.”
The words hit you straight in the chest.
And then he leaned in and kissed you — slow, sleepy, warm — the kind of kiss that tasted like comfort and home and everything you’d missed. His fingers brushed along your thigh, but there was no urgency now, no rush.
Just closeness.
You pulled back, barely, your noses still touching. “Do we have to get up?”
“Eventually,” he said. “But not yet.”
You nestled back into his chest, eyes fluttering shut again. “Okay. Just a few more minutes.”
He tightened his arms around you, voice barely audible as he kissed your hair. “Take all the time you want, baby. I’m not going anywhere.”
So our babys are nearly 7 again, it´s unreal how fast the time had passed.

▍5 MARCH 2025
Wonwoo never considered himself as a particularly emotional person. He was rational, practical, and logical. None of which, apparently, applied to you, who was currently curled up in a blanket burrito on his sofa, sobbing like he just told you he was moving to the moon.
He sighed while standing over you with his arms crossed. “Babe, you’re being ridiculous.”
You lifted your head from the blanket pile, eyes red and puffy. “I am not,” you wailed. “You’re leaving me for eighteen months, Wonwoo. That’s, like, a lifetime in relationship years.”
“That’s not how time works.”
“You don’t care about my suffering at all!” you sniffled dramatically.
Wonwoo rolled his eyes and shifted his weight as he continued watching you spiral into despair. “Okay, first of all, I’m not leaving you. I’m literally just going to work. Second, I’m not even doing active duty. I’m doing an alternative service because, in case you forgot, my eyesight is so bad that the government won’t even trust me with a gun and is making me do a desk job instead.”
“Still counts” you hiccupped mid-sob.
“Does it?”
“Yes” you crossed your arms, glaring at him. “You’ll still be gone, and I’ll still be alone, and — oh my God, what if you get super buff and realise you don’t love me anymore?”
Wonwoo blinked. “I’m literally going to be working in an office.”
“So? What if lifting all those papers gives you arm muscles?”
He sighed, rubbing his temples. “First of all, paper isn’t that heavy. Second, even if I did somehow get buff, I wouldn’t stop loving you.”
You let out a dramatic huff. “How do I know that for sure?”
Wonwoo stared at you for a long moment before answering, “Because if I was going to leave you, it would’ve been when you made me watch that thirty-episode historical drama just so you could cry over it.”
You gasped, clutching your chest like he physically wounded you. “You said you liked it!”
“I lied.”
You let out a strangled noise, then flopped back onto the sofa. “I knew it! I’m already losing you.”
Wonwoo sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. “Babe, I’ll be home every night. The only difference is that I won’t be promoting with the members for a while. That’s it.”
You sniffled again and gripped the blanket tighter. “It’s not just that! I won’t get to see you perform, or travel with your members, or do all the cute idol boyfriend things—”
He raised an eyebrow. “When have I ever done cute idol boyfriend things?”
“Okay, fine, Jeonghan does cute idol boyfriend things. But that’s not the point!” you huffed, sitting up to glare at him.
“The point is, I won’t get to see you in your element. I won’t get to watch you perform on stage, and I won’t get to hear you talk about making music with your members. You love being with them.”
He frowned slightly at that, because — well, you weren’t wrong.
It would be weird not promoting as a Seventeen member, not spending every day surrounded by the usual chaos and comfort of his group. He would miss standing on stage. He would miss the adrenaline of performing, the way the members bickered, the way Carats screamed their names with so much love.
But, at the end of the day, he would still be home.
Wonwoo let out a sigh and sat down beside you, resting a hand on your knee. “I get it. I’ll miss all of that too,” he admitted.
“But it’s not forever. And honestly? I’d rather be at home with you every night than stuck in a training camp running laps at five in the morning.”
“I feel like you’re just saying that to make me feel better” you pouted.
“Maybe. But it’s also true” he smirked.
“You think I’d rather be sweating in a field somewhere when I could be home with you, eating ramen and watching bad dramas?”
You hesitated. “…That does sound better.”
“Exactly.”
You sighed, rubbing your eyes. “But what if you change?”
“What do you mean?” your boyfriend frowned.
“What if, after eighteen months, you don’t love me the same way?” your voice was quieter now, and your usual dramatic energy was replaced by something more vulnerable.
His chest ached at the sight of you, and the way you curled into yourself like you were trying to brace for impact.
“Baby,” he murmured, reaching up to tuck your hair behind your ear. “That’s not going to happen.”
“You don’t know that” you mumbled, biting your lip.
“Yes, I do,” he said firmly. “You think I’m going to go to work, file some paperwork, and suddenly forget how much I love you?”
“Maybe there’s a really hot co-worker with perfect vision who loves books as much as you do” you shrugged.
Wonwoo gave you deadpan look. “First of all, I can barely see people’s faces without my glasses, so your imaginary rival isn’t even a threat. Second, no one could ever be you.”
“You promise?” you sniffled.
“I swear on my terrible eyesight.” That finally got a small laugh out of you, and Wonwoo felt some of the tension ease from his chest.
“Besides,” he added, smirking. “If anything, you should be more worried about Jeonghan stealing me away while I’m gone.”
Your eyes narrowed. “I knew it. He’s been trying to seduce you for years.”
Wonwoo chuckled, “you have no idea.”
You let out a dramatic sigh and flopped against him. “Fine. I’ll let you go.”
“Oh? You’re giving me permission now?”
“Yes,” you sniffed. “But only if you compensate me properly.”
“And how exactly do I do that?” Wonwoo raised an eyebrow.
You perked up. “A life-sized body pillow with your face on it.”
Wonwoo groaned. “Not this again.”
“You owe me emotional damages” you crossed your arms.
“I’m not getting you a body pillow.”
“Then I’ll just make my own,” you threatened.
Wonwoo sighed, rubbing his temples. “Okay, how would you even do that?”
“Print a giant picture of your face, tape it to a pillow, and boom. DIY boyfriend” you smirked.
“You have issues” he stared at you.
“I have needs” you corrected.
Wonwoo shook his head in defeat. “Fine. I’ll send you so many selfies that you’ll get sick of my face.”
You gasped. “Never.”
“You’re ridiculous” he chuckled, wrapping an arm around you and pulling you close.
“And yet, here you are, cuddling me instead of telling me to stop.”
“Unfortunately” your boyfriend sighed dramatically. You gasped and smacked his chest. “Take that back!”
“Nope” he grinned mischievously.
You huffed, but your arms tightened around him. “Ugh. You’re the worst.”
“And yet, here you are, crying over me leaving.”
“Shut up and let me be sad. And you’re not exactly leaving, remember?” you sniffled.
Wonwoo chuckled, squeezing you gently. “Alright baby. Be as sad as you want.”

Tim with undiagnosed ADHD. Tim who self medicated with caffeine since he was 7.
Tim who drinks copious amounts of coffee just to stay focused and sleep. Tim who sleeps everywhere because caffeine, the blissful focusing agent it is, makes him tired.
The bats (minus Jason) who think their helping by cutting off all his caffeine intake cold turkey. Who turn their ears off when his head aches from withdrawals and he can't sleep. Who is unfocused and manic and unable to sleep or function at all. The bats who take this as a sign they are doing the right thing and enlist his friends to help.
Tim dragging himself to crime alley as Red Robin, tired and manic and unfocused. Who gets mugged almost immediately.
Jason finding him, beating up the mugger and taking him to a safe house. Nursing him back and giving him coffee without question cause he needs it. Tim being thankful, and immediately falling asleep.
Waking up and explaining everything. Jason listening as his knuckles slowly grow white from his tightening grip on the couch.
"You are an adult. They had no right to force themselves on you."
"They didn't-"
"You told them no. You said you needed coffee. They ignored you, refused to listen, and you ended up getting mugged and looking like shit because they thought they knew better about your own body than you did. That's fucked up."
"They were trying to help, I really do drink to much caffeine."
"And now you're justifying their egregious assault of your boundaries and personal agency. You don't drink too much, you just have ADHD. Any doctor could figure that out."
"So... I'm not broken?"
Tim looks like he's going to cry and Jason forces himself to exhale and release the rigidity in his body to appear welcoming.
"Of course not. Whoever told you that is getting two bullets in the knee caps." Jason says, rubbing Tim's back as his eyes start watering from relief.
"I'm not broken. I was right."

Espionage and Eavesdropping
You just wanted to surprise your Yonko boyfriend with something sweet. Shanks, however, misunderstands everything and thinks you're hiding a lover aboard.

You should’ve known better than to try anything secretive on a ship full of pirates with nothing better to do.
But here you were, crouched behind a stack of rum barrels in the ship’s lower deck, notebook clutched in one hand, whispering into a den den mushi like you were planning a military coup.
“I just need it by Thursday,” you hissed. “And don’t forget the edible glitter! It has to sparkle like Shanks’s ego.”
The den den mushi blinked at you slowly, mimicking your furrowed brows. “Sparkle. Got it. Any other unreasonable demands?”
“Make it look dangerously romantic, but also incredibly cool.”
“Sounds like you want a wedding cake without the wedding.”
You paused. “…Don’t say that out loud. He’ll hear it and assume I’m trying to marry someone else.”
And two decks above you, curled beneath a conveniently placed hammock and eavesdropping like a man twice his age, Shanks the Red-Haired Yonko of the Sea, whispered into his own den den mushi.
“I think they’re marrying someone else.”
“What?” Benn Beckman’s voice was dry.
“I just heard them say ‘don’t say that out loud, he’ll think I’m marrying someone else.’ That’s exactly what someone who’s definitely hiding an affair says, right?!”
“Shanks—”
“I KNEW they were too beautiful to be loyal.”
“You’re the most dramatic man on this ship.”
“I’m going to fake my own death and see if they cry.”
The misunderstanding began three days ago, when you asked Lucky Roux to quietly sneak into town and pick up something discreet and delicate. You’d given him a long list with unnecessary glitter stars and bold underlines, swore him to secrecy, and told him, “Tell no one. Especially Shanks. Not even if he’s dying. Especially not if he’s dying.”
Unfortunately, someone else heard that.
And Shanks? He took it personally.
Now you were organizing a surprise celebration for his birthday (which he had claimed he didn’t care about, like a liar), enlisting crew members with the stealth of a sea cat, and every time Shanks looked at you, you panicked like a criminal caught red-handed.
So of course he thought something was going on.
You’d whisper to Yasopp, run away from Hongo, disappear for hours, and dodge Shanks with the finesse of someone avoiding a breakup talk. He started following you in secret, wearing a cape and fake mustache, hiding behind crates that were nowhere near his size.
Benn walked past him one day and muttered, “This is why we can’t have normal relationships.”
Day Four.
You were on the main deck, whispering into your notebook.
“Benn’s distracting him with fake wine. Hongo’s handling the fireproof sparklers. Yasopp is swearing on his son’s life not to tell. I just need to—”
“—tell me who you’re seeing.”
You jumped so hard you nearly tossed the notebook overboard.
“Shanks! What the hell—how did you sneak up on me like that?!”
He was squinting suspiciously, arm on his hip, shirt loose, and hair windblown in a way that made him look far too attractive to be pulling this level of paranoid nonsense.
“I have connections,” he said ominously.
“Okay?”
“Lucky Roux saw you give a note to a pigeon.”
“First of all, it was a cake-ordering pigeon, and second—wait, that’s not the point. What?”
“You’ve been sneaking around. Whispering into things. Saying suspicious phrases like ‘don’t tell Shanks even if he’s dying.’ What am I supposed to think?!”
“That I’m planning something nice?”
“That you’re cheating!”
You blinked. Then blinked again.
“…Cheating? Shanks. Darling. Love of my life. Who on this ship could I possibly be cheating on you with?!”
He pointed dramatically toward the horizon. “Someone from another crew! A beautiful stranger with a strong jawline and a charming laugh—”
“That’s literally you.”
“Wait. Is this a reverse surprise? Am I the stranger?!”
“No!” you laughed, smacking his chest. “I’m planning a surprise party for you, you idiot!”
“…Oh.”
You narrowed your eyes. “Did you… spy on me?”
Shanks hesitated. Then lifted one leg onto a crate like a theater actor mid-monologue. “I’ll have you know I was on a noble quest for truth, love, and the prevention of heartbreak.”
“You wore a mustache and tried to climb the rigging, didn’t you.”
He coughed. “Irrelevant.”
You groaned, laughing despite yourself. “Unbelievable. You thought I was cheating, so you started counter-spying?”
He nodded solemnly. “It was a matter of pride. Also, Benn said if I was wrong, I owed him all my sake.”
“…And were you wrong?”
Shanks looked at you. Then at the crew. Then back at you.
“…Maybe. But in my defense, you are very suspicious when you whisper.”
Cue Party Day.
Despite the chaos, the confusion, and the unnecessary disguises, the party was perfect.
The deck was transformed with string lights, stolen silk drapes, a truly dangerous amount of glitter, and a cake shaped like his own face (your idea, obviously). A very confused seagull in a bowtie delivered the final decorations.
Shanks walked into the surprise party pretending to be shocked—even though he’d definitely heard the band warming up from below deck—and laughed like it was the greatest moment of his life.
“You did all this for me?” he beamed.
You crossed your arms. “Yes. Even though you accused me of having a secret affair.”
He grinned, wrapping an arm around your shoulder. “Well, I would cheat on me for you, so I get it.”
“…That doesn’t make any sense.”
“It doesn’t have to. I’m handsome.”
He kissed your cheek before you could argue, then pulled you onto the dance floor—barefoot, wild, and surrounded by pirates singing off-key. At some point, Lucky Roux accidentally ignited the fireproof sparklers (which were not fireproof), and Benn had to douse the deck while muttering about retirement.
You and Shanks ended the night lying on a picnic blanket made from stolen tavern tablecloths, eating leftover cake straight from the tray.
“Next time you plan a surprise,” he mumbled, mouth full, “just… tell me it’s not a secret affair.”
You poked his cheek. “Only if you don’t go full spy-movie mode again.”
He smiled. “Deal. Unless you start whispering to birds again. Then all bets are off.”
The next morning, you woke to find Shanks crouched on the figurehead, holding a long telescope and muttering, “The pigeon is back. I repeat. The pigeon. Is. Back.”
You dragged a pillow over your face and groaned.
Some things never change.

They don’t know about us.
That’s what Luna and Jeonghan thought when they first started their relationship.
It was long overdue— the tension, the lingering glances that lasted a beat too long, the unspoken words hanging in the air, waiting to be acknowledged. The drama of it all, the drunken confessions, the rejection, the stolen moments that meant more than they let on— it had been building for so long that when it finally happened, it felt inevitable.
Natural.
Like breathing.
So, when they finally crossed that line, when Jeonghan kissed her for the first time and Luna didn’t pull away, when their hands found each other’s in the dark and refused to let go— it was everything they had imagined and more.
And naturally, they fell into the honeymoon phase.
A world of their own, untouched by anyone else.
It wasn’t that they didn’t trust their members or their families— it was just that, for once, they wanted something that was only theirs.
Something that didn’t have to be shared, explained, or justified.
It was thrilling, this secret, knowing that when the cameras turned off and the doors closed, they were no longer just Jeonghan and Luna, best friends, members of the same team— they were them.
Something more, something sacred.
For months, they relished in the privacy of their love. Whispered conversations at odd hours, secret smiles across crowded rooms, hands brushing under tables where no one could see.
And they were so careful.
At least, until their parents found out.
It had only been a few months, but it turned out keeping a secret from their parents was a whole different game. Their families had always been close— closer than the other members’ families— and as it turned out, parents knew their children.
Maybe it was the way Jeonghan’s mother caught him checking his phone with a smile too soft to be casual, or how Luna’s father noticed her humming love songs under her breath, looking far too dreamy. Maybe it was the way they unconsciously gravitated toward each other during family gatherings, how they were never too far apart, how their conversations had an ease that went beyond simple friendship.
They didn’t say anything outright at first. But the knowing looks, the teasing comments, the gentle nudges— it was all calculated.
Until one day, both Jeonghan and Luna were cornered separately and gently interrogated.
They could have lied.
They could have denied it.
But parents knew.
So with a sigh, they admitted it.
And with that, their secret was no longer theirs alone.
That’s how their parents found out about their relationship.
They don’t know about us.
That’s what Jeonghan and Luna thought as they sat back, watching their members, keeping their secret from them for just a little while longer.
It wasn’t that they didn’t trust them. It wasn’t that they were afraid of what they would think.
It was just that they weren’t ready.
The longer they kept it to themselves, the longer they could preserve the magic of it being just theirs.
One whole year.
That was how long they managed to keep it hidden from their members.
An entire year of stolen moments and careful maneuvering, of sneaking off after practice and pretending they were just best friends in front of the others.
An entire year of their own little world, untouched.
And it worked.
Until it didn’t.
They were so careful.
But one night, they got too comfortable.
It was late, they were alone— at least, that’s what they thought. The practice room was empty, the lights dimmed, and they were tired, bodies pressed close, lips moving together like they had all the time in the world.
And then the door opened.
And twelve pairs of eyes stared.
And that was that.
That’s how the rest of the members found out about their relationship.
They don’t know about us.
That’s what Luna and Jeonghan thought as they continued their relationship for five more years, keeping it a secret from everyone else— everyone except their families and their members.
Calculated. Careful. Strategic.
They made sure of it.
But secrecy didn’t mean distance.
They never shied away from expressing their feelings in public or on camera.
The glances, the praises, the little touches that meant everything— they were obvious.
Too obvious.
But that was the trick, wasn’t it? To make it so obvious that no one actually believed it.
Best friends.
Soulmates.
That’s what the fans and the public called them.
Because it was unrealistic, right? That they would actually be together?
And that was the goal.
Until one night, both Jeonghan and Luna let their guard down too early.
And suddenly, they weren’t just best friends anymore.
They were a headline.
It started two days ago.
Two days.
That was all the time they had left before Jeonghan was set to enlist.
Luna and Jeonghan had always known this moment was inevitable. The topic of his enlistment had lingered between them for years, a shadow they had learned to live with, a reality they had come to accept. It wasn’t something they could ignore, not when time kept moving forward, not when Jeonghan’s departure was written in stone long before they had even fallen in love.
They had talked about it thoroughly, the weight of it heavy but never unbearable. There had been tears— mostly on Luna’s part, silent and bittersweet— but in the end, they made peace with it.
Jeonghan wasn’t leaving forever.
He wasn’t even leaving for long.
Because of his previous elbow and ankle injuries, he wasn’t serving in active duty. Instead, he would be doing alternative military service, social work that allowed him to return home every night.
The only time he would truly be away from her was during his initial two weeks of basic training.
And then, he’d be back.
Back to her, back to them, back to everything they had built together.
To them, that was more than enough.
But even with that knowledge, even with the comfort of knowing he would come home to her every night, time felt more precious than ever.
In the months leading up to his enlistment, Jeonghan and Luna had become inseparable— even more so than usual, and that was saying something.
The members noticed it immediately, but none of them said anything. They let them be, let them cling to each other as if time would slow down if they just held on tight enough.
And after Berlin— after the night he slipped a ring onto her finger, after she whispered yes into his kiss— Jeonghan’s attachment to Luna only intensified.
They had always been touchy, always drawn to each other like gravity itself pulled them together.
But after getting engaged, it was different.
Jeonghan barely let her out of his sight. If he wasn’t holding her hand, he had an arm around her waist. If she wasn’t sitting beside him, he’d pull her onto his lap. If they weren’t in the same room, he’d be texting or calling her, asking when she’d be back.
And Luna was no better.
She soaked up every second with him like she was trying to memorize the way he fit into her life, the way he felt pressed against her side, the way he murmured her name like it was the only word that mattered.
Whenever they could, they went on dates— lazy mornings spent wrapped up in each other, quiet evenings cooking together, late-night drives through the city, shopping trips where Jeonghan insisted on buying her everything she even glanced at.
Every moment mattered.
Which was how they found themselves here— two days before Jeonghan was set to enlist— wandering through a quiet park hand in hand, long past midnight, with only the streetlights and the faint rustling of leaves as their company.
The closer the day got, the more desperate they became.
For more time. For more memories. For each other.
So when Jeonghan had asked her, “Wanna go for a walk with me?” there had been no hesitation. No questions.
She had just nodded, slipping her hand into his.
And their desperation for more time made them reckless.
They hadn’t bothered with hats or face masks, hadn’t hidden behind sunglasses or scarves. There was no disguise, no attempt to shield themselves from the world.
They walked through the park as they were— hand in hand, smiles soft, laughter echoing in the quiet night.
Their fans had seen them like this before, after all.
“Friendly dates,” the internet called them.
Best friends, soulmates, nothing more, nothing less.
Holding hands, hugging, clinging to each other like their lives depended on it— none of it was new.
This wouldn’t be any different from the rest.
Right?
Wrong.
They very were wrong.
They had thought this night would be like all the others. Another quiet moment stolen from the rest of the world, tucked away in the familiarity of each other. Another walk under the moonlight, just the two of them, wrapped up in the comfort of knowing that no matter what happened, no matter where life took them, they would always find their way back to each other.
But they were wrong.
The park was empty, the air crisp with the lingering chill of fall. The only sounds were the rustling of leaves in the breeze, the distant hum of the city beyond the trees, and the soft rhythm of their footsteps against the pavement.
Luna and Jeonghan walked hand in hand, their fingers intertwined, swaying their arms gently up and down like children playing as they strolled without a destination.
It was peaceful. It was quiet. It was them.
“Remember the first time we did this?” Luna mused, her voice just above a whisper, as if she was afraid speaking too loudly would break the moment.
Jeonghan hummed, tilting his head slightly in thought. “Which one? We do this a lot.”
Luna rolled her eyes, nudging him playfully. “The very first time. Back when we weren’t even dating yet.”
A lazy grin tugged at his lips as the memory resurfaced. “Ah… that one. You mean the time we got caught in the rain, and you whined about your shoes getting soaked the whole way back?”
“I was wearing suede boots, Han,” she huffed, but there was no real annoyance behind her words.
He chuckled. “Yeah, yeah. And I was the one who gave you my hoodie so you wouldn’t complain the whole night.”
“You offered it to me,” she corrected.
“Because you wouldn’t stop pouting.”
She let out a small scoff but didn’t argue further, instead squeezing his hand in silent amusement.
They walked in silence for a while, the rhythm of their footsteps in sync, their hands warm against the night air. It was moments like these— simple, unhurried, effortless— that made it hard to believe time was slipping through their fingers.
Luna exhaled softly, glancing up at the sky. “It’s funny,” she murmured.
Jeonghan glanced at her. “What is?”
“How… nothing really changes, but at the same time, everything does.”
He hummed again, as if considering her words. “That’s life, isn’t it?”
She nodded slowly. “It just… doesn’t feel real sometimes. That we’ve been together this long. That we’ve managed to keep it ours for this long.”
Jeonghan smiled, bringing their joined hands up to press a lingering kiss to the back of hers. “It’s real.”
Luna turned to him, her gaze soft, her eyes tracing the familiar lines of his face. “I know,” she whispered.
There was another stretch of silence, comfortable and full, before Jeonghan sighed, nudging her toward a bench nestled under the soft glow of a streetlamp. “Come here,” he murmured, tugging her down beside him.
Luna went willingly, shifting so she could wrap her arms around his torso, pressing herself against his side. Jeonghan draped his arm over her shoulders with practiced ease, his fingers slipping into her hair as he gently guided her head onto his shoulder.
She let out a quiet sigh as he pressed a soft kiss to the top of her head.
For a while, they just sat there, wrapped up in each other, listening to the distant sounds of the city beyond their little world.
“I’m gonna miss this,” Luna admitted after a moment.
Jeonghan’s hold on her tightened slightly. “I’ll still be here, my moon.”
She closed her eyes. “I know. But it’ll be different.”
“It won’t be forever.”
Luna let out a breath of laughter. “I hate that you’re always right.”
Jeonghan chuckled, pressing another kiss into her hair. “You love that I’m always right.”
She tilted her head up to glance at him, lips curling in a small smirk. “Debatable.”
He rolled his eyes but didn’t argue. Instead, he rested his chin atop her head, his fingers lazily playing with the ends of her hair.
After a beat, he spoke again, voice softer this time. “I’m gonna miss this, too.”
Luna swallowed. “Yeah?”
He hummed. “You. Us. Coming home and seeing you there. Falling asleep next to you.” He paused. “Waking up next to you.”
Luna bit her lip, tightening her hold on him.
Jeonghan sighed. “I don’t want you to feel sad while I’m gone.”
“I won’t.”
He didn’t look convinced. “Promise me?”
She turned her head just enough to press a small kiss against his collarbone. “I promise.”
Jeonghan exhaled slowly, his grip on her never loosening, as if he was afraid that if he did, she would slip away.
Luna closed her eyes, willing the sting behind her eyelids to fade before the tears could fall.
She promised herself she wouldn’t cry. She promised him she wouldn’t be sad. She didn’t want Jeonghan to see her cry, not when he had enough on his plate already, not when this was inevitable— something they both knew was coming for years now.
It’s only four weeks.
It’s only four weeks.
It’s only four weeks.
She repeated it in her head like a mantra, as if saying it enough times would make it feel true, would make the ache in her chest subside.
Four weeks of basic training, then he would be back, working an office job, coming home to her every night. It was nothing compared to what others had to endure, nothing compared to what it could have been.
And yet…
Four weeks.
They had never been apart for that long.
Not once.
Not ever.
Since the moment they met as teenagers, since the day Jeonghan waltzed into her life with that lazy smile and sharp wit, since the first time she rolled her eyes at him only for him to make her laugh a second later, they had never spent more than a few days apart.
Even when schedules were hectic, even when they were on different sides of the world, they always found a way back to each other— calls, texts, midnight flights, anything to close the distance.
But this time, there was no way around it.
This time, it was real.
Jeonghan, ever attuned to her, read her silence as easily as he read his own thoughts. Without a word, he lifted their joined hands, brushing his lips against the back of hers, pressing a lingering kiss there before turning his attention to her fingers, kissing each one, soft and slow, as if he was trying to soothe away the thoughts swirling in her head.
Luna sniffled, blinking up at him, and Jeonghan smiled, his usual playful lilt slipping back into his voice as he spoke.
“You know,” he mused, pressing one last kiss to her knuckle, “this is starting to feel like one of those tragic romance dramas you love watching.”
Luna scoffed, but the sound was weak, breathless. “Oh, shut up.”
“I’m serious.” He grinned, eyes glinting with mischief. “You, the heartbroken heroine, left behind as her lover bravely marches off to his destiny.” He placed a hand on his chest, feigning sorrow. “You’ll wait for me, won’t you, my baby?”
She rolled her eyes, shoving him lightly. “You’re so dramatic.”
Jeonghan gasped, placing a hand over his heart. “Me? Dramatic?”
“Yes, you.”
“Jiyeonie, sweetheart, my moon, my pretty angel, my baby,” he drawled, shaking his head. “I wish I could say I’m offended, but honestly, I’m just proud of you for finally learning how to lie.”
She let out a small, breathy laugh, the tightness in her chest easing just a little.
Jeonghan beamed, clearly pleased with himself. “There it is. That’s the smile I love.”
Luna exhaled, shaking her head as she leaned into him, her voice softer this time. “You really can’t let me have my moment for a second, can you?”
“Nope.” Jeonghan tilted his head, pressing a quick kiss to her temple. “Not when I know you’ll overthink yourself into a spiral the second I let you.”
Luna pursed her lips, knowing he was right but refusing to admit it. “I just…” She sighed, her fingers curling slightly against his chest. “I don’t want to miss you.”
Jeonghan’s gaze softened. “I know, baby.”
“It’s stupid,” she muttered. “Four weeks isn’t even that long.”
“It’s not stupid,” he said gently. “You’re allowed to miss me.”
She huffed. “You want me to miss you.”
Jeonghan smirked. “Well, yeah. A little ego boost never hurt anyone.”
Luna rolled her eyes again, but this time, she smiled. “Unbelievable.”
He squeezed her waist, bringing her closer. “Come on, it’s not that bad. Think about it this way: two weeks without me means two weeks of extra sleep. No one to steal the blankets, no one to wake you up in the middle of the night just because I’m bored—”
“You say that like it’s a good thing,” she interrupted.
Jeonghan grinned, his thumb tracing slow circles against her hip. “Admit it. You love when I wake you up.”
Luna scoffed. “I love my sleep more.”
He gasped, placing a hand over his chest again. “Wow. So heartless.”
She bit her lip, trying to hold back her smile. “I’m just being honest.”
Jeonghan narrowed his eyes playfully. “Fine. Then I take back all those times I made you breakfast in bed.”
Luna arched a brow. “Breakfast? You mean the half-burnt toast and instant coffee?”
“Handcrafted with love, love of my life,” he corrected.
She laughed, shaking her head. “If that’s what you call ‘handcrafted,’ I think I’ll survive two weeks without it.”
Jeonghan let out an exaggerated sigh. “My own fiancée… betraying me like this.”
Luna grinned, shifting so she could press a soft kiss against his jaw. “You’ll live.”
He hummed, his hold on her tightening ever so slightly. “Yeah, but I’d rather live with you.”
Luna’s breath hitched, the weight of his words sinking in. She pulled back just enough to meet his gaze, her fingers brushing against his cheek.
“Then come home soon,” she whispered.
Jeonghan smiled, leaning in to kiss her— soft, slow, lingering. “I will, for you.”
Luna lifted her head, her gaze locking onto Jeonghan’s as the corners of her lips twitched in amusement.
“Yeah?” she murmured, her voice teasing yet quiet, barely more than a breath between them.
Jeonghan’s lips curled into a smirk, his own voice dropping into a whisper. “Yeah.”
Her eyes flickered between his, studying the depth of his stare, the way he was looking at her— like she was the only thing in the world that mattered.
“Really?” she teased, her nose barely brushing against his as she tilted her head slightly.
“Really,” Jeonghan confirmed, his smirk widening as he rubbed the tip of his nose against hers, the gentle eskimo kiss making Luna giggle softly, her eyes fluttering shut for a moment at the affection.
Jeonghan stilled, watching her— memorizing her.
The way her nose scrunched just slightly as she giggled, the way her lips curved, the way her laughter melted into a small, content sigh.
He wanted to keep this moment, trap it in time so he could play it back again and again.
Then, with a quiet exhale, he leaned in.
The first kiss was barely a brush of lips, a fleeting peck— a soft introduction, like the whisper of a promise.
Then another.
And another.
Each peck slow and deliberate, as if they had all the time in the world.
But they didn’t.
That realization hit Jeonghan all at once, settling deep in his chest like a weight. They didn’t have all the time in the world. They barely had two days.
And just like that, his patience slipped away.
Jeonghan deepened the kiss, his lips pressing more firmly against hers, his hand coming up to cup her jaw, thumb stroking against her cheek as he tilted her head back slightly. Luna let him, exhaling softly through her nose as she melted against him, her fingers curling into the fabric of his hoodie.
The movement of their lips was slow but intentional, like they were savoring the feeling— like they were trying to etch the sensation into memory.
Jeonghan took his time, kissing her deeply, his lips warm and soft against hers, a quiet hum vibrating in his throat as he felt Luna respond, matching his movements with ease, with familiarity, with the same silent understanding that had always existed between them.
And then, like a dam breaking, the kiss shifted.
Luna felt the moment Jeonghan’s restraint wavered, felt the way his fingers gripped her just a bit tighter, the way his lips moved with more urgency, the way his breath hitched between kisses. The change was subtle at first, a slow descent into something deeper, something desperate— until suddenly, there was no space between them, no hesitation.
His other hand found her waist, pulling her closer, and Luna let out a quiet, breathy sound as she tilted her head further, allowing him to take full control. Jeonghan took advantage of it immediately, his lips parting against hers as his fingers traced down the side of her neck, slow and deliberate, leaving a trail of warmth in their wake.
She tasted like peppermint and something unmistakably sweet— something unmistakably Luna, a taste he could never quite describe but knew he would never forget. He sighed into her mouth, taking his time to memorize it, to let it brand itself into his senses.
Luna kissed him back just as fervently, her hands slipping up to tangle in his hair, nails grazing against his scalp as she pulled him impossibly closer. The sensation sent a shiver down Jeonghan’s spine, his fingers twitching against her waist before gripping just a little tighter.
Time didn’t exist.
Nothing else existed.
It was just them.
Kissing like the world was going to take it all away.
And maybe, in a way, it was.
The desperation grew, their lips moving in perfect sync, breath mingling between soft sighs and quiet hums, until suddenly—
Jeonghan pulled away.
Luna barely processed it before she was chasing after him, lips parting as she tried to close the distance again, refusing to let the moment slip away so soon.
A deep chuckle rumbled in Jeonghan’s throat, the sound low and knowing as he indulged her immediately, meeting her halfway as he captured her lips again, softer this time— less desperate, more lingering.
A few more kisses followed, slow and sweet, until finally, they both pulled away for real, their foreheads resting together as their breaths intermingled.
Neither spoke for a moment, simply basking in the warmth of each other, the quiet hum of the night around them.
Then, finally, Jeonghan smiled, breathless and dazed.
“Damn,” he murmured, voice low and teasing, “I was going to say something, but now I’ve completely forgotten what it was.”
Luna exhaled a soft laugh, her fingers still playing with the strands of his hair as she whispered, “Was it important?”
Jeonghan hummed, pretending to think for a moment before smirking. “Not as important as this.”
Luna grinned, rolling her eyes. “Cheesy.”
“Admit it, Nana-ya,” he murmured, pressing another kiss— just a light peck this time— against her lips. “You love it.”
She sighed dramatically. “Unfortunately.”
Jeonghan chuckled, wrapping his arms around her as he nuzzled his nose against hers once more. “Good. Because I’m not planning on stopping anytime soon.”
Jeonghan breathed out, his gaze locked onto hers, filled with nothing but warmth and devotion. “I love you, my pretty moon,” he murmured, his voice barely above a whisper, yet carrying the weight of every moment they had shared.
Luna’s lips curled into a soft smile as she reached up to cradle his face, her thumb tracing gentle circles against his skin. “I love you too,” she whispered back, her words laced with the same tenderness that had always existed between them.
The night stretched on, the moon casting a soft, silver glow over the park, illuminating the quiet sanctuary where Jeonghan and Luna sat curled up together on the weathered wooden bench.
The world around them had long faded into the background, leaving just the two of them in their own little bubble, a space where time seemed to slow and everything outside of them ceased to exist.
Jeonghan’s arms remained lazily draped around her, fingers tracing mindless patterns along her shoulder, while Luna tucked herself into his side, her head resting against his chest, listening to the steady rhythm of his heartbeat. It was a sound she knew by heart, one that had always comforted her— always reminded her that he was there.
Neither of them spoke for a while, but words weren’t necessary. They had spent years learning each other’s silences, understanding the weight of every quiet moment, every sigh, every unspoken thought. And tonight, their silence spoke volumes.
Jeonghan shifted slightly, tilting his head to press another kiss against the crown of her head before resting his chin there. His fingers slipped down to intertwine with hers again, gently squeezing as if to remind her— I’m here. I’m not going anywhere.
Luna squeezed back.
This moment belonged to them.
Just them.
No cameras. No flashing lights. No prying eyes. No one to tell them who they should be, how they should act, how they should dress, how they should live.
For years, they had mastered the art of existing under the radar, moving like shadows through a world that wasn’t meant to see them. They had found ways to love each other without letting the world know— soft touches hidden in plain sight, whispered words in stolen moments, glances that spoke louder than words ever could.
And tonight, in the quiet embrace of the night, under the glow of the moon and the distant hum of the city, they allowed themselves to be just Jeonghan and Luna.
No masks. No pretense. Just them.
But they had been wrong.
So wrong.
Because hidden in the shadows, from a distance neither of them had noticed, they were not alone.
A group of men— silent, calculated, and patient— had trailed after them, staying just far enough behind to remain undetected.
They had seen everything.
They had seen Jeonghan and Luna enter the park, had watched as they walked hand in hand without a second thought, without disguises, without the usual caution that kept them safe.
And then, when the two lovers had sunk into their moment of unguarded intimacy, the men had done their job.
Professional cameras, long-range lenses, and the precision of years of experience had ensured that everything— every single detail— was captured.
Every touch.
Every smile.
Every lingering gaze.
Every kiss.
Every single breath.
Every single moment that had once belonged to Jeonghan and Luna alone— stolen.
Framed within lenses meant for the world to see.
Click.
Click.
Click.
The shutters had been relentless, capturing their love in high definition, freezing each second of their private moment into something that would soon be dissected, analyzed, and spread across every screen, every headline, every social media feed.
And just like that…
Their little bubble— the one that had protected them for five long years— popped.
The world would come flooding in.
And it did… they came flooding in.
The morning light barely seeped through the curtains, casting a soft glow over the bedroom. The world outside was already stirring, but inside, Jeonghan and Luna remained blissfully unaware, wrapped up in the warmth of each other.
Luna was curled against him, her body pressed to his side, head resting on his chest, where the steady rise and fall of his breathing lulled her deeper into sleep. Jeonghan had one arm around her, his fingers absentmindedly splayed across her back, while the other rested atop the blanket that loosely covered them.
Everything was still.
Everything was quiet.
Until it wasn’t.
The noise started subtly— just a single vibration at first.
Then another.
And another.
And another.
Until it became a relentless series of buzzes, chimes, and notification dings that broke the peaceful silence.
Jeonghan stirred, his brows furrowing in annoyance, but Luna, the heavy sleeper that she was, barely moved.
Then came the ringing.
One call after another, overlapping, insistent— unrelenting.
Jeonghan was a light sleeper, and there was no way he could ignore it. His lashes fluttered, and with a groggy sigh, he opened his eyes, blinking against the dim light as his mind tried to catch up with reality.
His body reacted before his mind did. One hand instinctively lifted, covering Luna’s ear to shield her from the noise, while the other moved to gently press her closer, ensuring she stayed undisturbed. She shifted slightly, her fingers curling against his chest, but she remained fast asleep, completely oblivious to the chaos happening just beyond their broken little bubble.
Jeonghan exhaled through his nose, his annoyance growing as the buzzing persisted.
It was incessant.
His phone.
Luna’s phone.
Neither had stopped since he woke up.
That alone was enough to make his stomach twist uncomfortably.
Something was wrong.
Very wrong.
And whatever it was— it involved them.
His gaze flickered to the bedside table, where both of their phones vibrated aggressively against the wood, lighting up with call after call, message after message. He could see the names flashing across the screen— the members, their managers, their parents. Even social media notifications were piling up at an alarming rate.
The air in the room suddenly felt heavier.
Jeonghan’s fingers clenched around the sheets for a moment before he carefully untangled himself from Luna. She barely stirred, only making a small noise of protest before settling back into sleep.
His gut told him he wasn’t going to like whatever he was about to find out.
Reaching for his phone, he barely had time to register the dozens of texts and missed calls before another one came through.
His manager.
With a steadying breath, he accepted the call.
“Hyung.”
A sharp breath of relief was heard on the other end. “Jeonghan— finally.” His manager’s voice sounded tense, urgent. “I’ve been trying to reach you both for the past hour. We’re still trying to get ahold of Jiyeon.”
Jeonghan’s gaze flickered down to the woman sleeping peacefully beside him. His chest tightened. “She’s here,” he murmured, his voice quieter, more careful, as if saying it too loud would shatter the last few moments of peace they had left. His eyes traced her features— so serene, so unaware of the storm that was waiting for them outside this room.
His manager let out another breath, but the tension in his voice didn’t waver. “Good. That’s… good.”
Jeonghan frowned. “Hyung, what’s going on?”
There was a pause.
A moment too long, too hesitant.
“Jeonghan-ah,” his manager said, voice lowering as if bracing for impact. “You need to be ready for this… the two of you. It’s bad.”
Jeonghan’s patience finally snapped.
“What’s bad?” he demanded, voice sharpening as a cold unease settled in his stomach.
Another beat of silence.
Then—
“Dispatch uploaded pictures of you and Jiyeon at the park last night.”
Jeonghan stilled.
His body didn’t move, but his arms instinctively tightened around Luna, holding her just a little closer, a little more protectively.
The words rang in his ears, but his mind had already begun working, piecing things together faster than his emotions could catch up.
They had been followed.
They had been watched.
Grown men had lurked in the shadows, cameras in tow, capturing everything.
Every smile. Every touch. Every kiss.
A scalding heat simmered beneath his skin— not of panic, but of anger.
He knew this was bound to happen eventually.
They had been careful for years, but all it took was one mistake, one moment of carelessness, one night of wanting to just be them— and now their relationship was no longer their own.
For years, they had carved out a love story in the quiet, only for it to be stolen in the loudest way possible.
But more than anything, more than the invasion, more than the knowledge that the entire world was probably tearing through their privacy at this very moment—
It was Luna he cared about most.
This wasn’t just about him.
Jeonghan knows he could handle the attention. He could handle the questions, the scrutiny, the headlines. He had prepared for this moment for years.
But Luna…
She had spent five years keeping their love safe. She had built walls around it, protected it with every ounce of her being.
They weren’t hiding— they were protecting.
They had been selfish with this one thing, this one love, because it was the only thing that was truly theirs. But now, even that was gone.
And now, without warning, those walls had been torn down.
At the end of the day, the final decision wouldn’t be his to make.
It would be hers.
And whatever she chose— however she wanted to handle this— Jeonghan would stand beside her, just like he always had.
Jeonghan barely heard a word his manager was saying. His phone was pressed to his ear, but his attention was elsewhere— fixed on the woman sleeping beside him, the only thing in this moment that mattered.
“Jeonghan-ah, are you listening?” His manager’s voice was tense, barely masking the urgency underneath. “The higher-ups need to talk to the both of you. We’re setting up a meeting as soon as possible. They’re already drafting statements, they’re asking for a confirmation— but they won’t release anything until they speak with you and Jiyeon first.”
Jeonghan swallowed, his jaw tensing.
Statements.
Confirmations.
Damage control.
It was always about control with them.
But right now, all he cared about was her.
His fingers brushed lightly over Luna’s shoulder as she slept, his touch featherlight, as if he could somehow keep her safe in this moment— keep her in the warmth of sleep where reality couldn’t reach her yet.
Stay asleep just a little longer, please.
Jeonghan hoped she was dreaming of something beautiful, something so breathtaking that reality would pale in comparison. Maybe she was dreaming of the ocean, the soft lull of waves against the shore. Maybe she was dreaming of the stars, endless and vast, untouched by the world below.
Because when she woke up, that dream would be gone.
Jeonghan exhaled shakily. He knew how much this would hurt her. He knew how hard she had worked to build her walls— to make herself untouchable, unshaken. It had taken years for her to perfect that mask, to craft a shield strong enough to survive in this industry.
And now, just like that, those walls were about to crumble.
He shifted slightly, lowering his head to press a kiss against her forehead.
I don’t want you to hurt.
His arms tightened around her just a fraction, his heart aching at the thought of what she was about to wake up to.
For the first time in a long time, Jeonghan almost started praying.
Then Luna stirred.
It started small— just a soft sigh, her body shifting slightly against his. But then her brows knitted together, her fingers twitching against his chest as the incessant buzzing and chiming of her own phone finally started to break through her sleep.
She rubbed her eyes sluggishly, grogginess still thick in her voice.
“What?”
Jeonghan barely had time to compose himself before she blinked up at him, confusion evident in her tired gaze.
She could hear it now.
The constant ringing, the dings, the vibrations.
Her brows furrowed deeper as she slowly turned toward her phone. Jeonghan knew the moment she became fully awake— her gaze sharpening just slightly as she reached out, fingers brushing against her phone’s screen.
“What’s happening?” she murmured, blinking away the last remnants of sleep.
Jeonghan said nothing. He simply watched her, his face carefully neutral, but there was something unreadable in his expression.
Luna frowned, her fingers curling around her phone. “What is—”
She didn’t get to finish.
Before she could unlock the screen, Jeonghan moved.
Faster than he even realized, his hand shot out, gently but firmly stopping her from opening it.
Luna froze, staring at him in shock.
The only sound between them now was the relentless dinging of notifications.
Her heart stuttered.
Something was wrong.
Dread curled inside her chest like a slow-burning poison.
Her grip on her phone tightened as her breathing grew shallower. She could see it in Jeonghan’s eyes now— that quiet grief, that heavy sadness, the way he wasn’t trying to stop her because he wanted to hide something from her, but because he wanted to protect her.
Her pulse pounded in her ears.
“No.” Luna shook her head, shoving down the sickening fear clawing up her throat.
With trembling fingers, she unlocked her phone.
“No. No. No.”
She scrolled through the messages— dozens of them. Her parents. Her members. Even some industry friends. Their messages all carried the same weight of concern, asking if she was okay, asking if she had seen it yet.
That was the easy part.
What came next made her stomach turn.
Her manager’s worried text was at the top of her notifications, followed by a single link.
Luna hesitated, her breath catching in her throat.
She clicked it.
Jeonghan could only watch her, his chest tight, his fingers clenching into the sheets. He had already seen it. He had already felt the weight of it. But Luna…
Luna was seeing it for the first time.
Her eyes widened as she took in the headlines.

Then the pictures.
From the moment Jeonghan’s car pulled into the park.
To the way he had reached for her hand.
To the way he had kissed her temple under the streetlights.
To the way they sat together, lost in their own little world.
To the way they shared a passionate kiss, wrapped in each others’ arms.
Frame after frame.
Everything was there.
Luna felt like she was going to be sick.
Luna remembers how there was a time when she had wanted the whole world to know.
When she was younger, when their love was still something new and untouched, she had dreamed of showing Jeonghan off— of holding his hand in public without fear, of gushing about him openly.
But reality had hit them fast.
She had watched idols get scrutinized, torn apart for daring to love. She had seen careers ruined, reputations destroyed, relationships ended, and lives violated.
She had learned quickly that the only way to protect what they had— was to keep it a secret.
Her vision blurred.
Her hands started to shake, her fingers clammy as they gripped her phone too tightly. Her chin wobbled, her breath coming in short, uneven gasps.
Her heart pounded erratically in her chest, constricting, tightening—
She was dizzy.
Nauseous.
Her fingers scrolled too fast, eyes scanning the comments that were already piling up.
> She’s so selfish. She ruined Jeonghan’s image.
> She doesn’t deserve him.
> Typical. The only girl in SEVENTEEN and she’s screwing a member.
> PR stunt.
> Didn’t we predict this almost ten years ago? She’s fucking a member. Maybe even more of them tbh.
> Jeonghan could do so much better.
> Well, what’s new? She’s a slut, we’ve established that.
> They should kick her out of the group.
> That’s all she’s good for anyway, a PR stunt.
She barely even registered the words.
She had stopped caring about hate years ago.
She had built up a thick skin, had learned to survive in an industry that never wanted her in the first place.
But this—
People picking apart their love, something she had spent years protecting—
This brought her back to when she was seventeen, sobbing into her pillow over the first wave of hate she had ever received.
Her lungs burned.
She couldn’t breathe.
Her phone slipped from her hands, falling onto the bed.
As if the universe was playing a sick joke on her, the video autoplayed.
“We’ve caught them.”
A man’s voice, snickering behind the camera.
Luna whimpered.
Her hands flew to her ears, shaking violently as a sob tore from her lips.
Immediately, Jeonghan grabbed her phone, locking it, before gathering her into his arms.
“Jiyeon-ah,” he murmured, his voice low, soothing, as he rocked her gently. “It’s okay. It’s okay, baby. You’re okay, I’ve got you.”
She gasped, trying to breathe, but her chest was too tight, her panic spiraling too fast.
“Breathe,” Jeonghan whispered, pressing a kiss to her hair. “Slow, deep breaths. Just follow me, okay? In—” he inhaled deeply, holding her closer, “—and out.”
She trembled violently against him, her face buried in his neck.
“Why would they do that?” she choked out, her voice small, broken.
Jeonghan closed his eyes, his heart breaking.
“I don’t know, baby,” he whispered. “I don’t know.”
But he would do anything to make it stop.
Luna’s breaths came in short, sharp gasps, her entire body trembling in Jeonghan’s arms. She clung to him, her fingers fisting the fabric of his shirt as if she could anchor herself to him, as if she could disappear into the warmth of his embrace and escape the reality that was crashing down around her.
“C-can’t breathe, Han.” Her voice was a broken whisper, barely pushing past her sobs. She burrowed deeper into his neck, her tears hot against his skin.
Jeonghan tightened his arms around her, his hand moving up to cradle the back of her head. “Yes, you can,” he murmured softly. “You can, Nana-ya. Just follow my breathing, okay? You’re safe. I’ve got you.”
But she was spiraling too fast, her body shaking harder against his.
“Everything’s ruined,” she choked out, gasping against his collarbone. “It’s out there. We’re out there. There’s nothing we can do—”
“Hey,” Jeonghan said firmly, yet still gentle, pulling back slightly. He cupped her face, his thumbs immediately brushing away the tears that wouldn’t stop falling. “Look at me, Jiyeon-ah.”
She resisted, trying to bury herself back into him, but he didn’t let her. He held her face in his hands, tilting her chin up so she had no choice but to meet his gaze.
“Breathe with me,” he said again, softer this time. “Slow and deep, just like this.” He exaggerated his inhale, his chest rising steadily, before exhaling slowly. “Just like that, my moon. You can do it.”
She tried. She really did. But her breaths kept hitching, her body kept trembling, and her mind wouldn’t stop racing.
“It’s us,” she whispered, her voice breaking. “It’s so clearly us. The pictures— there’s no denying it, no pretending, no trying to spin it another way. It’s just… there.”
Jeonghan’s jaw clenched, but he kept his touch gentle, kept his voice steady. “I know.”
“And the people—” her breath shuddered, her fingers curling into his wrists as he held her face. “They’re already crucifying me, Han. It’s not even about the rumors or the speculation anymore. They know it’s real. They know we’re real. And they’re tearing me apart for it.”
A fresh sob broke through her, her hands shaking as they clutched at his wrists.
“I don’t care what they say about me,” she whispered, her voice laced with exhaustion, with anger, with hurt. “I haven’t cared in so fucking long. I learned how to ignore them. I had to. I had to. But this— this is different.”
Jeonghan brushed his thumb under her eye, wiping away a tear before it could fall. “How is it different, love?” he asked softly, his patience unwavering.
“Because they don’t know us.” Her voice cracked as she spoke, her chest rising and falling in uneven breaths. “They don’t know us, but they think they do. They think they know our story, our love, our choices. They think they have the right to tear us apart when they don’t even understand who we are.”
Jeonghan exhaled slowly, his heart aching at her words. He let her spill everything, let her pour out all her frustrations, all her pain, as he held her close.
Her sobs quieted just slightly, but her hands still trembled in his grasp. He tilted her face up again, pressing his forehead to hers.
“You’re right. They don’t know about us, Jiyeonie,” he murmured, his voice full of quiet conviction. “They think they do, but they don’t. They don’t know what we’ve been through. They don’t know the nights we spent whispering in the dark, promising each other that we would make this work no matter what. They don’t know the sacrifices we’ve made just to keep this love safe. They don’t know the way I look at you when no one’s watching. They don’t know the way you hold my hand under the table when the world feels too loud.”
Luna’s breath hitched, a fresh wave of tears filling her eyes.
“They don’t know us,” Jeonghan repeated, his voice steady, unwavering. “And they never will. Not in the way we do. Not in the way that matters.”
She swallowed hard, her lips quivering as he continued to wipe away her tears.
“I don’t want them to ruin this,” she admitted in a broken whisper. “I don’t want them to take this away from us.”
Jeonghan shook his head slowly, pressing a gentle kiss to her forehead. “They can’t. They don’t have that power. The only people who get to decide what happens to us— is us. You hear me?”
Luna’s breath shuddered, but she nodded, her fingers finally loosening their desperate grip. Jeonghan kissed her cheek, then her temple, then the tip of her nose, grounding her with every touch.
“You’re safe,” he whispered against her skin. “We’re safe.”
Luna let out a shaky breath, her hands still trembling as she gripped Jeonghan’s wrists. Her mind was spinning, overwhelmed with thoughts that she couldn’t contain. Even though her breathing had steadied slightly under Jeonghan’s soothing touch, the weight of everything was still crushing her chest.
“It’s not fair,” she whispered, voice raw from crying. “Why do we have to go through this? Why does it always have to be this way? Why can’t we just… exist without people tearing us apart? Is that too much to ask?
Jeonghan’s thumbs continued their slow, comforting strokes against her skin, his eyes never leaving hers. He didn’t rush her, didn’t tell her to stop. He let her speak, let her pour out the frustration that had been building inside her for years.
“I knew this would happen,” she admitted, voice thick with emotion. “I knew that if they ever found out, they’d twist everything, rip us apart like we’re just some story for them to consume.” She let out a bitter laugh, one that held no humor. “And the worst part? They don’t even see us as real people… we’re entertainment. We’re just characters to them— characters in a drama they get to judge, gossip about, and decide the ending for.”
Jeonghan’s grip on her tightened slightly, grounding her, reminding her that he was here, that they were real.
“They don’t know how hard we fought for this,” Luna continued, her voice rising with frustration. “They don’t know how many nights we stayed up, whispering about the future, trying to convince ourselves that love was worth the risk. They don’t know how many times we almost gave up because we were scared— because we knew the world wouldn’t be kind to us if they ever found out.”
Jeonghan swallowed hard, his chest aching at the pain in her words.
“They don’t know about the nights I cried because I hated hiding,” Luna whispered, her eyes filling with fresh tears. “How I wanted to tell the world, to scream it from the rooftops that I love you. But I couldn’t. I couldn’t because I knew what would happen. And now that it’s happening, it’s so much worse than I imagined.”
Jeonghan exhaled slowly, his fingers gently tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. “I know,” he murmured, his voice filled with understanding. “I know, baby.”
Luna shook her head, her chest rising and falling unevenly. “And the comments— God, the comments.” Her fingers clenched into fists against his chest. “They think they know us. They think they have the right to judge us. To call me names, to call you names, to pick apart every little detail about us as if we owe them an explanation. As if our love is something they get to approve of.”
Jeonghan’s expression darkened for a moment, but he quickly masked it, choosing to focus on her instead. He gently tilted her chin up, forcing her to meet his gaze. “They don’t matter, Nana-ya.”
She let out a broken laugh, shaking her head. “That’s easy to say when you’re not the one being called a fucking slu—”
“They. Don’t. Matter.” Jeonghan repeated, firmer this time. His voice wasn’t harsh, but it was resolute, unshakable. He held her gaze, his thumbs brushing away the tears staining her cheeks. “Not the strangers. Not the trolls. Not the ones who think they know us just because they see a few pictures online. They don’t know anything, Jiyeon. And they never will.”
Her breath caught in her throat, her lips parting slightly.
Jeonghan’s expression softened, his fingers caressing the curve of her jaw. “You know what does matter?” he asked quietly.
She swallowed, blinking up at him.
“You.” He leaned in, pressing the gentlest kiss to her forehead before whispering against her skin. “Me. Us.”
Luna’s chin wobbled as another wave of emotion hit her.
“Our members,” Jeonghan continued, his voice steady, reassuring. “Our friends. Our families. The people who have stood by us, who know us— not as idols, not as gossip, but as real people. The ones who love us and support us, no matter what.” He pulled back just enough to look into her eyes, his gaze unwavering. “And our fans, Nana-ya. The ones who truly care about us, not just as performers, but as human beings. The ones who love us because we’re real, not in spite of it.”
Luna inhaled shakily, his words settling deep within her.
“At the end of the day,” Jeonghan said softly, his fingers tracing slow circles against her skin, “they are the only ones who matter. Not the ones who hide behind screens, not the ones who think they have a say in our lives. They don’t know us.” His voice dropped to barely a whisper. “And they never will and that’s okay because— they don’t matter.”
Luna let out a shaky breath, her fingers loosening their grip. The storm inside her was still raging, but Jeonghan’s words were like an anchor, pulling her back to solid ground.
She looked at him— really looked at him. At the warmth in his eyes, the quiet strength in his presence, the unwavering love he held for her in every touch, every word.
And suddenly, the noise of the outside world didn’t feel so loud anymore.
Luna’s breath hitched, her fingers curled weakly into Jeonghan’s hoodie as she whispered, her voice barely above the sound of their breathing, “I’m going to miss you a little more when the world is being too harsh, Jeongie.”
Her chin wobbled, a single tear slipping past her lashes, tracing a slow, sorrowful path down her cheek. The sight of it melted Jeonghan’s heart in the most painful way. He wanted to wipe away every ounce of sadness, every ounce of fear that she felt— but the reality of it all was that he couldn’t.
Because tomorrow, he had to leave.
Four weeks.
Four weeks of basic training.
Four weeks away from her.
Four weeks where she would have to deal with the aftermath of their relationship being exposed without him by her side.
The thought nearly crushed him. He didn’t want to leave her like this, not now. But he had no choice.
Jeonghan sighed, his hand moving to gently comb through her hair, pushing it away from her tear-streaked face. He gave her a small, knowing smile, trying to ease the tension in her chest, trying to ground her the way he always did.
“You know what you should do when the world is being stupid and I’m not there?” he asked, his voice laced with fondness.
Luna blinked up at him, sniffling, waiting for his answer like it was something sacred.
“You face it headfirst— like you always do,” Jeonghan said simply, his fingers threading through her hair with delicate care. “Like the time you fought off that ridiculous rumor about you paying people to be a part of the group.”
Luna let out a weak, teary scoff, but he saw the way her lips twitched slightly.
“Or the time a fan tried to convince everyone that you secretly hated Seungcheol, and you shut that down with one Weverse live where you spent the whole time telling stories about him and listing the things you love about him in the most adorably aggressive way possible.”
A small huff left her nose.
Jeonghan smirked, tilting his head. “Or how about the time a rookie idol said something shady about you in an interview, and when you an I ran into her backstage, you walked straight up to her, smiled, and said, ‘I heard you have something to say to me. Say it to my face.’”
Luna rolled her eyes at the memory, but the corner of her lips twitched ever so slightly.
Jeonghan gave her a pointed look, his fingers tracing slow, comforting circles on her back. “That’s the Bae Jiyeon I know. The one who doesn’t take shit from anyone. The one who walks into a room and owns it. The one who protects the members like they’re her own blood. The one who, despite everything, still stands tall.”
Luna swallowed hard, the lump in her throat growing larger.
His expression softened. “I need you to be strong for me, baby,” he murmured, resting his forehead lightly against hers. “And that should be easy, because you’re the strongest person I know.”
Luna shut her eyes tightly as his words washed over her, but more tears escaped anyway.
“You have to be strong,” Jeonghan continued, brushing his thumb against her cheek, catching another stray tear. “Because we need to face the consequences together. No hiding. No running away.”
She exhaled shakily, nodding against him.
Jeonghan suddenly pulled back slightly, a knowing look in his eyes. “Remember when that girl confronted you at that fan sign a couple years ago? The one who actually had the nerve to say all that nonsense to your face?”
Luna blinked at him, confused for a moment before the memory came flooding back.
Jeonghan smirked. “Remember what you told her? I want you to repeat it.”
Luna stared at him, her lips parting slightly. She let out a soft, watery laugh before she whispered, her voice laced with that sharpness she always carried when she needed it:
“You don’t have to like me. I don’t wake up everyday to impress you.”
Jeonghan chuckled, warmth spreading through his chest at the familiar fire that flickered in her eyes, however faint it was in this moment. He cupped her cheek, pressing a lingering kiss to her forehead.
“There she is,” he murmured, smiling against her skin. “That’s the Luna I know. She may be a little tired right now, and that’s okay. But I know she’s in there.”
Luna’s eyes glistened even more, her lips pressing together as she swallowed thickly.
She looked at him— at the way he saw her, truly saw her, even when she felt like she was broken beyond repair.
And suddenly, all she could do was whisper, “I love you.”
She exhaled shakily, her voice so fragile yet so full of depth. “So much. It hurts.”
Luna felt everything at once— the weight of the world on her shoulders, the chaos waiting for her outside, the relentless storm she would have to fight through.
But in the middle of it all, in him, she found solace.
Jeonghan was her anchor.
Jeonghan was her safe place.
He was the only person in the world who could make her feel loved when she felt unlovable.
The only person who could make her feel beautiful when the world tried to tear her apart.
The only person who could make her feel important, confident, strong— when she felt like crumbling.
And she knew— without hesitation, without a single doubt in her heart— that if she had to choose, she would always choose him.
She would choose herself and Jeonghan religiously.
Every single time.
Jeonghan smiled, his eyes soft, his thumb grazing over her lips as if memorizing the shape of them. He let out a small chuckle before murmuring, “You really love me, huh?”
Luna let out a breathy laugh, shaking her head as fresh tears slipped down her cheeks. “So much that it hurts, Jeongie.”
Jeonghan hummed, pressing another soft, lingering kiss to her forehead. Then, with a teasing smirk, he whispered, “Well, good. Because I love you too and you’re stuck with me forever.”
The sharp ring of the doorbell cut through the stillness of the room, making both Luna and Jeonghan freeze. Their eyes met instantly, tension thick in the air. For a moment, neither of them moved, waiting, as if the sound itself would just disappear if they ignored it. But it rang again, more insistent this time.
Jeonghan exhaled, pressing a quick, reassuring kiss to Luna’s lips before slipping out of bed. “I’ll go see who it is,” he murmured before making his way to the door.
Luna remained in place, momentarily stuck in the aftermath of their conversation. Her chest still felt heavy, her mind a mess of thoughts that she didn’t have time to organize. With a slow inhale, she wiped the dried tears from her face, ran her hands through her hair a few times, and straightened her posture.
She needed to lock in. She needed to be composed.
After another breath, she got up and followed her fiancé.
She had been expecting the members. It would’ve made sense for them to barge in, bombarding her and Jeonghan with reassurances and attempts to cheer them up. But the distinct lack of chatter, of familiar voices, made it clear that wasn’t the case.
Instead, standing just inside the doorway were her manager and Jeonghan’s manager, their expressions grim.
“Jiyeonie…” Luna’s manager said as soon as she saw her, voice soft, filled with concern. Before Luna could react, the older woman moved toward her, pulling her into a warm yet heavy embrace. She rubbed Luna’s back in a way that was meant to be comforting, but all it did was confirm the severity of the situation.
Over her manager’s shoulder, Luna’s eyes immediately sought out Jeonghan’s. His lips were pressed together, gaze already on his own manager, waiting for an explanation.
“They’re here for the confirmation statement,” Jeonghan finally said, voice comforting.
Luna pulled away, her back straightening as she moved to Jeonghan’s side. He reached for her hand instinctively, fingers curling around hers as they sat down on the couch. Their managers followed suit, settling across from them.
Luna’s manager cleared her throat. “We were supposed to have this conversation at HYBE,” she began, her tone professional yet careful, as if she were treading on thin ice. “The higher-ups wanted to meet with both of you directly to discuss the… situation.”
Jeonghan’s manager nodded, picking up where she left off. “But we convinced them that we should be the ones to talk to you first. There’s a lot to consider here, and we need to discuss the best course of action for both of you— damage control, the confirmation statement, and what comes after.”
Jeonghan and Luna remained quiet, listening.
They understood how these things worked. Rumors came and went, scandals emerged and were buried. They had dealt with their fair share of baseless gossip over the years, ones they had easily denied.
But this…
There was no denying this.
The pictures were clear as day.
The damage that needed to be controlled was far greater.
Their managers continued, taking turns explaining the various approaches they could take. It was all methodical, calculated. The company’s priority was preserving their images, maintaining stability. And the best way to do that, according to them, was through a quiet confirmation— an acknowledgment of their relationship without fueling further chaos.
But then came the part that made Luna’s jaw clench.
“…After the initial confirmation, we wait a few months,” her manager explained carefully. “Then, when the time is right, we announce that you’ve decided to part ways, that you’ve chosen to remain friends instead. You’ll still be together, of course, just… privately. It’s the best way to—”
Luna’s patience snapped.
“Tell them we’re engaged.”
The bite in her tone was unmistakable, sharp and unwavering. Jeonghan smirked at the sound of it, glancing down at his feet, but he didn’t interfere. He simply let her speak, watching as she took full control of the room.
Both managers blinked, clearly caught off guard.
“What?” Jeonghan’s manager said, confusion laced in his voice.
Luna lifted her chin. “Tell them we’re engaged.”
Her manager hesitated, brows furrowing. “Jiyeon-ah, we need to minimize the—”
“Don’t make me repeat again what I just said,” Luna cut her off, voice cold, eyes sharp.
The room fell into silence.
Luna exhaled through her nose, leaning forward slightly. “You’re going to release an official statement confirming that Jeonghan and I are together. Not just dating— engaged. We’ve been in a relationship for five years. Since July of 2019. And we’ve been engaged since September 8th of this year— a few weeks ago.
Her manager opened her mouth, likely to protest, but Luna didn’t give her the chance.
“We’ve spent the last few days together as much as possible before Jeonghan enlists tomorrow, and we deserve to have that respected. I don’t care what loopholes you’re supposed to follow. I don’t care what narrative the company thinks is best. I don’t care about damage control. This is our relationship, and it is not a scandal.”
The authority in her voice made both managers shift uncomfortably, but neither of them dared to interrupt her.
Luna continued, unwavering. “You can also tell them that they should mind their own fucking business and leave us the fuck alone— but I understand that I’m not allowed to say certain things, so instead, you can add how we hope that people will respect our privacy. We hope that those who have supported us for years will continue to do so. And if they don’t?” She tilted her head slightly. “That’s their problem. Not ours.”
Her fingers tightened around Jeonghan’s.
She leaned back against the couch, her expression unreadable. “I want that official statement out as soon as possible. It’s not difficult— you’ve done this plenty of times before. It’s just a few paragraphs.”
Her eyes darkened, her tone dropping a degree colder. “If I don’t see that statement in the next five hours, I’ll post it myself.”
The silence that followed Luna’s final words was thick and suffocating. Their managers exchanged a look, hesitant, as if weighing their options, but there was no winning against Luna in this state.
Then, Jeonghan exhaled sharply, breaking the silence with a lazy smirk. He leaned back against the couch, tilting his head slightly as he regarded their managers with a look that was equal parts amused and unimpressed.
“You know,” he mused, voice slow, deliberate, “we could always just do a live broadcast instead.”
Both managers’ eyes widened in pure horror.
Jeonghan’s smirk deepened. “Go on Weverse, say a few words straight to the fans. No edits, no filtering. Just us, raw and real, telling them exactly how it is. I’m sure they’d appreciate the honesty.” He let the thought linger in the air before adding, “I mean, if that statement doesn’t come out within the next few hours, I might get bored enough to do it myself.”
The underlying threat was not lost on anyone.
Jeonghan’s manager was the first to sigh, pinching the bridge of his nose. “Fine,” he relented, voice tight. “We’ll make sure the statement is out as soon as possible.”
Luna’s manager nodded, though she still looked slightly shell-shocked. “Yes. We’ll take care of it immediately.”
With that, they stood, clearly eager to leave before Jeonghan or Luna threw any more surprises at them.
“We’ll keep you updated,” Jeonghan’s manager assured as he made his way toward the door.
Luna’s manager hesitated for a second before giving Luna one last look, softer this time. “Take care, Jiyeonie.”
Luna nodded, her expression unreadable. “You too.”
And just like that, they were gone.
As soon as the door clicked shut behind them, Jeonghan wasted no time. He turned to Luna, wrapping his arms around her and pulling her close, pressing his forehead to hers. Then, with a gentle tilt of her chin, he captured her lips in a slow, deep kiss.
There was nothing rushed about it, nothing urgent. Just warmth, reassurance, and the unspoken promise that no matter what came next, they were in this together. His lips moved against hers with practiced ease, coaxing her into the moment, his hands resting firmly on her waist. Luna sighed into the kiss, her fingers curling into the fabric of his shirt, holding him close as if anchoring herself.
When they finally pulled away, Jeonghan rested his forehead against hers, his thumbs stroking slow circles against her sides.
“I’m proud of you,” he murmured, voice low but filled with nothing but sincerity.
Luna’s lips curled into the softest of smiles as she looked up at him. “I’m proud of us.”
Jeonghan hummed, pressing another quick kiss to the corner of her mouth. “I love you, my pretty moon.”
“I love you more.”
He chuckled, shaking his head. “Impossible.”
For a few moments, they simply stood there, wrapped up in each other, the weight of the day finally beginning to settle.
But then, as expected, Jeonghan was the first to break the moment.
With a smirk tugging at the corner of his lips, he tilted his head, eyes glinting mischievously. “You know,” he drawled, “you were really hot earlier.”
Luna blinked at him before scoffing. “Seriously?”
He grinned. “I’m just saying, watching you shut them down like that? Very sexy. Very hot.”
Luna rolled her eyes, but the faint blush dusting her cheeks betrayed her. “You’re ridiculous.”
Jeonghan shrugged. “And yet, you love me.”
“Unfortunately.”
He gasped dramatically. “Unfortunately?”
Luna laughed, and for the first time that day, it felt light. Jeonghan’s grin widened at the sound.
“You know what would be even hotter?” he mused, tone casual but the glint in his eyes anything but.
Luna narrowed her eyes at him. “What?”
Jeonghan leaned in slightly. “Those photos I took of you a couple of days ago,” he started, voice taking on that familiar teasing lilt. “The ones where you were wearing that denim outfit.”
Luna raised an eyebrow. And?”
Jeonghan let out a wistful sigh, as if recalling something truly magnificent. “You just looked so good, baby. The fit, the lighting, the way the denim hugged you just right— honestly, it was art. Pure art.”
Luna giggled, shaking her head. “And what exactly is your point?”
His smirk turned downright devious. “It would be even hotter if you posted those pictures right now, like nothing happened.”
Luna stilled, staring at him for a few seconds, before her lips slowly curved into a smirk of her own. “It would be hotter if I posted it the second after they publish the confirmation statement.”
Jeonghan’s grin was instant. “This is why I love you.”
Before Luna could react, he grabbed her hand, dragging her back toward their room. “Come on,” he said, practically giddy, “let’s get your phone.”
Once inside, Luna sat on the bed, scrolling through her camera roll as Jeonghan wrapped his arms around her waist from behind, gently swaying them from side to side. He rested his chin on her shoulder, watching as she selected the best pictures of herself in the denim outfit.
“What caption should I write?” Luna asked, glancing at him.
Jeonghan stared at the blue denim for a moment before smirking. “‘Something blue.’”
Luna burst out laughing, the sound breaking through the tension that had loomed over them all day. She shook her head at him, but she was already typing the caption.
It was simple, subtle, but so obviously implying their engagement.
And as if the universe itself approved, both of their phones vibrated at the same time.
A notification.
The confirmation statement had been posted.
Luna smirked.
And with zero hesitation, she hit post.
Within seconds, her Instagram was flooded. She giggled as she scrolled through the comments.
> NOT HER JUST POSTING THIS LIKE NOTHING HAPPENED OMG I LOVE HER!
> girl just got exposed and she said “ok but here’s me looking hot”
> mother is mothering and she does not care
> she wins. she actually wins life.
> yoon jeonghan i know you’re somewhere smiling like an idiot rn
And then, as expected, their group chat with the members exploded— as if it wasn’t already.
kwanie: Bae Jiyeon! I hate you. I actually hate you. I was drinking water when I saw your post.
woo: no because why are you so unhinged, our Jiyeonie 😆
shi-shi: CONGRATS BUT ALSO MA’AM PLEASE??
gyu-gyu: this is why you and hyung deserve each other.
hansolie: Respect.
joshie: You really said “scandal? What scandal?” and dropped a thirst trap 😎
Junnie: Queen behavior. Iconic. Trendsetter.
Jihoonie: You’ve always had a talent for choosing violence at the best moments.
Cheollie: Honestly, I’m just mad I didn’t predict this.
kyeomie: CONGRATS BUT ALSO BAE JIYEON PLEASE?? SOME OF US WERE TRYING TO EAT BREAKFAST AND NOW I’M CHOKING ON MY FOOD.
hao-hao: You really just broke the entire internet, huh? I hope you two know that.
channie: Not you breaking the internet and then logging on like “anyway here’s me looking hot.” I’m scared of you, Noona 😀
Luna giggled as she read through the messages, shaking her head in amusement before typing her response.
Luna: Glad to know you all appreciate my art.
A beat passed before another message popped up.
kwanie: Yeah, yeah. But also, for real… congratulations, you two. We’re happy for you 🥹
Cheollie: We love you both, so don’t stress too much, okay?
Luna felt Jeonghan’s arms tighten around her just slightly, as if he had read the messages over her shoulder. And though neither of them said anything in that moment, they didn’t need to. The people who truly knew them, who truly mattered, were here. Supporting them.
And that was enough.
Luna smiled, shaking her head as she typed out her responses. And Jeonghan, watching her with nothing but pure fondness in his eyes, felt something settle deep in his chest.
She was smiling again.
Despite everything, despite the chaos, she had powered through another hurdle thrown her way just like she always does.
That’s the thing about darkness— it makes the moon shine even brighter.
Everyone knew that.

jeon wonwoo’s fav kiss ❀⋆.ೃ࿔
18+ mdni !!! wc: 0.4k summary: wonwoo’s favorite way to kiss you— a silent love confession warnings: e word mentioned… sorry ☹️, angst, crying, hurt/comfort, kissing (durr), love making, IM SO SORRY an: i hate hate HATE writing ab enlistments but svt’s gmfu. this is for myself to heal myself (its not working) (fav kisses mlist!)
˚❀ ✦ ✿ . ˚ . ˚ ✿. ˚ ❀ . ˚✦ . ✿ ˚ ❀ *
wonwoo’s favorite place to kiss you is at the top of your head.
he’s secretly way more romantic than he lets on, and kissing you on your crown feels like the purest and least ill minded place to do so. even in the steamiest situations, it still has a heartfelt, romantic feeling. it’s pure, and he knows you like it too with the way you curl into him a bit every time he does it.
not to mention it’s perfect for every situation, whether you’re upset or it’s a truly romantic moment. he never has to second guess if he’s reading the room right when pulling you in and kissing your head, smelling your hair products as he holds you there.
it’s so comforting, and when wonwoo is having a hard time exchanging words, it’s the perfect way to just let you know, i’m here and i love you. it just so happens that he shows you love in this way right when you need it, without needing to even tell him.
when he comes home to you one day, randomly dropping the bomb that his enlistment date is set, he knows you need him. even through all your screaming, punching at his chest in anger for revealing this out of the blue, he just brings you into his arms, tight and warm. he doesn’t mind the pain, because he knows he’s in the wrong, so he lets you scream and kick at him. when you finally calm down, angry words turning into quiet sobs, he holds you tighter than ever, engraving the shape of your body onto his, lips finding your crown to leave a reassuring kiss. a reminder that no matter what, he’ll always be there.
he knows that when you’re standing in front of him, his head resting against your stomach, hands running through his hair a little too thoughtfully, that you need him. all he does is stand up, wordlessly, and pull you into a tight hug. your tears stain his shirt and he’s fighting back his own, but if he’s the one leaving you he should stay strong. his lips find the top of your head, and he holds them there, making sure his love is felt. he reminds you that he’ll see you every once in a while, that he’s not disappearing, and that there’s just some distance between the two of you. it’ll be okay.
when you’re laying in bed with him for the last time, the day before he leaves, both of you shedding countless amounts of tears as he makes love to you, he keeps you trapped in his arms, never letting you go. his cock glides against your insides so sweetly, taking his time to make sure the moment is something to remember, and the sweet memory will keep you company for the next two years. he kisses your tears away, swallowing your sorrows before finally, as you both cum, holding his lips to your head to remind you one final time just how much he cares about you.

I want a fic where Robin is adopted.
The only parents she has ever known are her own and the only time being adopted has ever bothered her was when Amanda St. James made fun of her for it in the third grade. But Robin told her that at least her parents wanted her and were not just stuck with her like Amanda’s parents, “And maybe that’s why your Mom and Dad are so unhappy all the time.”
She got in trouble for making Amanda cry and went back to never thinking about her birthparents. She had no interest in knowing anything about them and it stayed like that until she turned sixteen.
On her sixteenth birthday, her mom gave her a letter written to her by her birthmother. Robin doesn’t read it immediately, but eventually gives in to her own curiosity. She reads it over twice before her mind snags on a sentence, ‘I wanted to give you and your brother a better life…’ … you and your brother…. You and your brother…. You and-
“I have a brother.”
This eats at Robin, especially after her dad’s call to the adoption agency goes nowhere. It eats at her so much that she finally gives in – Fred Benson swears up and down that Nancy Wheeler is the best investigator on the school paper – and asks for help.
Nancy says yes and is maybe a little too invested in finding the truth, but honestly, Robin is having fun and she wants to find her apparent twin. She wants to know about his life. Settle the whole nurture over nature thing.
They hit a lot of walls, a lot of dead ends. They break a few rules and maybe commit a felony. They enlist Jonathan Byers to help and even Eddie Munson at one point because he knows how to pick locks, and it’s all for nothing.
One day when they have everything they’ve found spread out across the Wheeler’s dining room table, Steve comes over to pick up Dustin. He looks down at the whole mess and points at her birth certificate like, “Hey, we were born on the same day.”
#Steve and Robin’s birthday is close to the cutoff for starting pre-k where you can either enroll them or wait for another year#so Steve is one of the youngest in his grade and Robin is one of the oldest in hers#I had every intention of writing this fic but I couldn’t come up with enough ideas for the investigation so I’m posting it here#incase someone else wants to take it and run with it#steve harrington#nancy wheeler#robin buckley
