The Ruin virus.

I’m wondering why the cure didn’t kill Ruin as well as his Monty. From what I understood, it killed Ruin’s Monty because the virus was deeply ingrained into his system and he couldn’t function without it, but isn’t the same true for Ruin? Isn’t Ruin the virus in some aspect? Wasn’t the virus in his systems too and he was just immune or something?

This was canonically explained! But there’s still food for thought.

The original “cure” Ruin received was the equivalent to a Tupperware Container.

Back when Ruin was still an adversary in TSAMS, Moon ends up sneaking behind Ruin and jamming a “cure” into the back of his head. This causes Ruin to “shut down” for a few minutes, then re-coop.

When Ruin took that strike, his processors immediately noted something was changing, making him decide to “fake his curing” aka black out for a few minutes and wake up suddenly “cured” of his virus. Detecting the change, he rolled with the act that would end up allowing him to eradicate 5000 universes.

Ruin was not cured. Ruin cannot BE cured. Ruin was CONTAINED.

The Virus spreads via bluetooth and connection to other devices, which is what causes the outbreak. But after being “cured”, the “cure” essentially boxed up the Virus inside of Ruin’s body, to STAY inside of Ruin’s body. Now he can freely connect to devices because his virus cannot escape the containment the “cure” has put him in.

This means the virus cannot come in, nor get out. Though, this is where my “hive mind” theory came from due to the recent Ruin Virus take over.

Brief summary: I theorized that Ruin’s Virus may still be a half-connected hive mind - in the sense that The Virus can see through Ruin, but Ruin cannot see through The Virus. This was due to the fact that the Ruin Virus memorized the path to Eclipse’s head, and nobody else’s. Especially because of the fact that RUIN was the one to BUILD Eclipse’s current body.

The Virus is still accepting information, but Ruin can only observe, really.

Bringing this back around, the virus cannot “re-connect” to Ruin due to the container he’s inside of. Though it wouldn’t affect Ruin much if it did, it may have given back the prior control over it that Ruin used to have [Mass Infection].

This means nothing else can get to the virus inside of Ruin as well. INCLUDING Charlie’s little “spell”. She would not be able to pass through the container more than likely, but it’s still up for debate considering they didn’t risk it…

However,

this MAY have been proven prior due to something Charlie saw while analyzing Ruin. She explained how it simply didn’t affect him at all, or like it wasn’t there. Her sights may be BLOCKED by this “container” that Ruin is inside of.

Theory #2

Additionally, Charlie’s spell was that she “Wanted everything to be okay”, to “go back to the way it was before the virus”. If she reversed the events of time itself, Ruin was already infected before this. Therefore, it wouldn’t affect him along the timeline.

What about Monty? He was infected before this.

Yes, but he was DEAD. Therefore, it would’ve just killed him off again via time manipulation.

But this means that Charlie didn’t really “cure” anything, she simply reversed an aspect of time and space while diligently avoiding everything else. She erased part of history, almost.

TPOT 19 SPOILERS!

Capcut is making the simpliest things harder and harder to do. 😞

I broke my loyalty to BFB and started catching up on TPOT for this episode and this episode alone. I admit, I’m extremely surprised and immersed. THEY TOOK MY BOY!!!!!! THE MAN IN THE MIRROR! THEY’VE BEEN KIDNAPPED!

I also tried to make Pencil look more ragged and distraught in her design which is why she has a gnarly pixie cut. Girlie crashed out and I am actually here to enjoy it. Through this season, I went from hating Pencil, to LOVING her.

Lowkey me and One had the same eyebrow raise when things started going down. I AM EAGER AND HUNGRY FOR THE UPCOMING EPISODES. FEED ME, JACKNJELLIFY!! /POS

Uhh... Sorry to bring the news, maybe you already know, but EAPS is gonna end. There's gonna be around a month or so, then it's over. Any thoughts?

I had known before it was announced. It had been getting hinted at for a while, and after some speculation, we found out a while ago that TEAPS was ending. It didn’t really soften the blow when it was confirmed.

As devastating as this is, I am overjoyed for Davis and can’t wait to see his future projects. I cannot thank him enough for working on a proper ending for us, whatever it may be. I hope his future series will capture me as well as TEAPS did, and I’ll be here waiting.

And as a reminder, Ruin and Eclipse may not be gone forever. There’s always potential that they’ll return another day to say hi to TSAMS, TEALS, or even Femme Nights. So don’t fret!

I’ll still make my rants and theories. AND HEY, TECHNICALLY WE KINDA WON. MY STAR THEORY? UNCONFIRMED! THEREFORE STILL POSSIBLE! That’s something I care about most, I won’t lie. I still have animations to make along that.

I have PLENTY of animations for TEAPS I need to animate, relationships I need to make known about the characters, ideas, theory animations, etc! Though I’ll probably show more than just TEAPS animations on Tiktok, they’ll still come out!

Now that TEAPS is ending, I’ll have more time worrying less about keeping up that I can start actually putting out the stories people have been waiting for since FOREVER. Here’s what you can look forward to:

Drifter’s Bar

With 3 chapter released on AO3, Drifter’s Bar is a small Sub Plot off-screen of TSAMS/TEAPS after “Dark Sun’s SURPRISE VISIT From ECLIPSE in VRCHAT” to explain Dark Sun’s show name “Solstice” and create a more important backstory for Dark Sun and learn more about this (fanon) side of his character. We’ll also learn more about the science of the “Drifters” group and other exo-planet life.

Expect the quality to jump when I release more chapters. The first three are kinda rushed…😔

Ruin in Wonderland

With Chapter 1 almost completed, Ruin in Wonderland is a Sub Plot off-screen story for TSAMS that splits off during the Ruin, Dark Sun, and Nexus arc. Ruin’s programming gets scrambled and puts him in a cage of his own mind. In response, Nexus and Dark Sun recruit the #1 mindscape escaper, Eclipse, to traverse through a twisted wonderland to save Ruin.

Ten Week Eclipse [TWE!AU]

The story already completed and in need of polished writing, this 3 year old AU is FINALLY being written! After a long wait, I’m FINALLY going to ACTUALLY write the OFFICIAL FIC. In this AU, Eclipse gets a “Redemption Arc” very early on, — back in the “Killcode family” days — being held captive after being fatally wounded. He’s put through silly friendship trials while trying to escape to his self proclaimed “father” despite being already disowned. With nowhere to go, Eclipse has to confront his own actions and their consequences while showing The Celestials their own.

Ruin’s Logs [WIP Title]

With concepts in progress, this will be a fanon backstory for Ruin’s life in the war and on his trips through space. This will delve into his friends, Creator, his relationships, a secret revolutionary double life as “Eclipse”, and his 3 year trip where he traverses exoplanets. If you remember my “Old Memories” comic, this touches more about what Ruin dumped on Monty in that comic.

“Mr. Fixes The Shows Plot Holes” officially Trade Marked. Anyways,

I haven’t been watching TSAMS, but going off of this post alone, this seems perfectly accurate.

After all, the method used to bring Solar back was so hard to find, delicate to create, and needed a whole sacrifice (Eclipse’s leave) just to achieve.

It’s not the way of a universe, and is essentially a (computer) bug in the dimensions.

This is unnatural, unlawful, and could have potentional consequences not just on Solar, but the Multiverse as well.

Ruin couldn’t figure this method by himself because Ruin doesn’t have much experience in dimensional travel, while Eclipse has a LOT. From sending Sun and Moon to horrific adventures, exploring by himself, researching, or getting…certain premonitions. Eclipse knew dimensional travel by studying it with tech alone, but with the Star, he was given an entire observation room with his own magic, sometimes involuntarily.

Eclipse was the only one who could’ve discovered it for a reason. It was meant to stay hidden. But, so were the Astrals. That wasn’t a secret for long either, because of Eclipse.

On a separate note, I have NO CLUE what the HAY is going on with the whole “If Eclipse and Solar touch each other, the multiverse ends” and then Eclipse casually visits the dimension for 20 minutes. It’s clearly a reference from Alice In The Looking Glass based on science, but TSAMS, along with the fandom, are throwing canon numbers and misinformation around like a Connect 4 until one sticks better.

But that fact alone is ANOTHER reason as to why the Overseer would want to obliterate Solar, to stop that from happening.

Ok so I don’t watch the SaMS episodes so everything I know is from what I’ve seen on tumblr and the comments. Anyways, I think I solved a plot hole regarding the hunter thing. Tiny ramble below cut

The Overseer mentioned that he’s after Solar for “swapping universes”, and I’ve seen people mention how it doesn’t make sense because the Overseer isn’t going after the rest of the family when they all moved at the same time, but I don’t think he means literally. I think he means how Solar has a new dimensional code and is alive despite the rest of his universe being dead. Realistically, Solar should not be alive, and I think the Overseer knows this. If the Overseer was attacking people for moving universes, then he shouldn’t gone after Solar a whole year ago.

The Eclipse and Lunar Show Animation

It freaks me out that Lunar/Cosmos and Eclipse are what boosted my medias - I don’t even like Lunar…for…no reason in particular. *I say with a nonchalant eclipse voice*

Eclipse cared for Lunar long before anyone realized. He had felt guilty for his actions before anyone even dared to give Eclipse a second glance. Lunar was supposed to be a nonsentient distraction to help hold his counterpart down, but he built him to be a BROTHER. Not to mention Lunar had always seen him the exact same way. Though they have parted ways, dropped their relationship to each other, and have tried to block out each other’s existence, they are connected - and they know it. Lunar/Cosmos came back to try and break it, and Eclipse still hasn’t.

I find it odd how they cause me to make the most animations - considering I love many more relationships than these two brothers. But, it always finds its way back to me and I don’t even realize it when I’m already animating.

Also, my support and love goes to Alex Warren for this song. It’s so beautiful and I couldn’t resist jumping at the opportunity to show my support.

Reviving some of my old background lore I made to world build some one-time characters that sometimes make comebacks.

Please a warm welcome to Evil Lunar! [Lunar turns EVIL?! in VRCHAT]

Some fun facts spilt in this episode that reflects HEAVILY on the lore I tried to build to support his character!

• Evil Lunar never allowed anyone to die until he was bored of them because - at the time, he didn’t realize he could just bring them back to life. This was shown when Sun offers the idea to bring everyone back, and Lunar is hit with the realization.

• Eclipse, despite losing, despite being at Lunar’s mercy, did care for Lunar to the end. Lunar plays the same trick he did to Eclipse on Sun. In Evil Lunar’s trick, he breaks into sobs and crying out. He makes himself seem like a vulnerable child again. Sun takes the bait, comes closer, tries to offer solutions, and Lunar breaks character and responds with “Oh god you really are an idiot, just like Eclipse.”

• Evil Lunar complains about being reset over and over. We can connect this with a more recent confession from Eclipse in TEAPS that Lunar wasn’t supposed to be sentient. Eclipse likely found out he was sentient in this universe, and tried to take away his sentience. For better or worse is unsure.

• Lunar spills that “Eclipse isn’t as fun as I would’ve liked.” implying Eclipse gave up quickly. That doesn’t mean he submitted, but it means he didn’t physically fight back against him or didn’t have the power to.

• Lunar is a true religion in this universe. Remaining humans prayed for their safety and Lunar visited these churches and was entertained by it.

• At the time of Evil Lunar’s first debut, he confesses he never got to kill Sun nor Moon (though leaves Moon out of the convo.) “I only got to kill Eclipse.” This means both Sun and Moon were alive at the time of this episode somewhere.
