The classic Klance accidentally get married trope except its actually Hunk and Shay that do this and Shiro begins to wonder if he's losing it cause this seems like the sort of ridiculous shenanigans Lance and Keith would get up to and Hunk is supposed to be sensible.

Both Lance and Pidge are more than a little offended they didn't get to be best man/woman and Keith actually spends most of these events believing none of this was real cause he kinda got a space cold during this and it seems so out of character for those two with how together and responsible they are that he thinks this is a fever dream and is surprised when it's all over to find out it's real

This is off topic and a weird question. But if you had the chance how would you write the Voltron series. How you do the characters, what would be the story. I know its been like years and Voltron might seem like a thing of the past but I have to know

I quite liked VLD in a lot of ways... so I'd keep a lot of the plot the same, but:

Allura doesn't die, keeps her crown and eventually revives the Altean culture with Arus serving as their new home planet. Rules together with Keith, serving as a bridge between Altean and Galran culture.

Keith can leave and return in a similar manner, but there should be a narrative foil aspect between him and Lotor as fellow half-breeds. Allura could potentially still have a romance with Lotor, but it's Keith she really needs and the fallout with Lotor leads into Kallura romance for endgame.

Keith's mom Krolia is revealed to be part Altean, adding further depth to Keith's heritage and his bond with Allura. She eventually serves as a leader for the Galran people alongside the other Blades.

Shiro should either die as intended or else take more of a backseat following his return to let Keith stay in the spotlight.

Lance would still be flirty with Allura and other girls, but he's overcompensating because he actually kind of likes Pidge and thinks he kind of liked Pidge even before he knew she was a girl and he doesn't want to process that. Eventual endgame Plance relationship ensues.

More Hunk and Shay. No particular notes I just reeeally like them.

Those are all the major points I think.

chronic side pairing: a ship that is actually common/popular within a fandom but is never the focus of any fics and is usually a side pairing.

chronic side character: a main character in canon (sorry canon side characters) that is often pushed aside by other main characters or even side characters and barely has fics where they are the focus.

Hey anon! Hmm, in Voltron?? If you talk about vld, yes, I like plance! It was the first Voltron ship had shipped! Then, I discovered Kidge :3

I also like hunay, heith, shurtis, Allurance and veracxa........

As for other shows, I have too many!!!! But the main ships that took a huge place in my live are Marichat form miraculous, BxB from fnafhs and lapidot from SU! I have ( or had) an Instagram for each of them!

To combat all of the klance fics that forget that the other team members exist, I need to gather a collection of fics I find where everyone's friendships are the immediate priority of the story or deep dives into their characters and personalities and relationships to each other with Klance just being background noise. But specifically not where another romantic ship is the immediate priority either, just like Hunk and Pidge having an argument that maybe starts off like it's about Klance and as we move further through it, it's actually about a much deeper part of their friendship and everyone else including klance are kinda just reacting to and being involved in a capacity that isn't like "but honestly, let's all be thankful for these soulmates and their soulmate...ness" and is actually them having a relationship but also having a meaningful connection with their friends

I do understand that I could just write this, but the inherent joy of finding somebody else who wants this and has written this is more what I want than just going "eh guess I'll do it myself"

Also don't get me wrong, romance is cool and all and I like reading stuff about that and seeing the interesting stories people can make for those relationships, I would just also like to find more friendship based stuff where when I look for it, it isn't background to the romantic relationship, and without removing the romantic relationship entirely as its still interesting - is this making sense I feel like I'm rambling nonsense now and I feel like I'm asking for a thing that is gonna turn out to have been a stupid question aghhhhh

And at this point I'm starting to think the theory I have about me maybe being aromantic is starting to unfold further shush!
