how tf do you even play bruisers on ARAM? it's one of the worst experiences I've ever seen on League

you're entirely dependent of having a tank on your team since you can't really start teamfights by yourself or flank enemy backline, don't even talk about the Mark-and-Dash spell which althought really useful on certain types of champions like Alistar and Amumu, unless you have Flash off cooldown AND are playing a champion with one "get out of jail" button like Wukong or Riven, it's useless since it shows who you're going to dash forward and EVEN if you're quick enough to get a kill there's at very least 80% chance you'll be cc'd by enemy team unless your champion is also a Draktharr abuser 'cause that item is currently so fucking ridiculous

1) Opens up drafts with my head empty, ready to be flooded, not knowing where I'll go. 2) 30 seconds later: Okay but I will go feral any day of my life over Perilous Trail, and the fierce dichotomy of Xiao and Yelan. While they're far from being 'the same', they both view themselves as soldiers in one way or another (it's a very difficult word to use for Yelan, so I'm using it very liberally and very loosely), they have both suffered losses on the 'battlefield' and carry the burden thereof in their own ways. And yet they stand so firmly in opposition throughout the entirety of that questline up until the very end of the 'the end of the line' conclusion of the quest. Yes, I know that she offers him her gratitude in its aftermath and it is genuine, but she still never agrees with him and the decision that he made moments earlier. It simply 'worked out' because of Zhongli's interference, he's the only reason it worked out. And it's because of that, that she doesn't give him a hell of a hard time (obviously she can't go down there, but imagine the inner frustration of severe extents; when you condemn someone who you can't even see anymore). In the same way that she would do to anyone who would sacrifice themselves for others, but in this case, I think it's 'beautiful' that it's to Xiao; the one who seems most adamant to do so (which honestly, fits into the contract that the Yakshas chose to sign with Morax; 'the ultimate sacrifice' to protect for Liyue; 'for Liyue', and Liyue has always centered itself around its people), the one who everyone reveres (and so does she, as she notes in her voiceline, 'if I ever have the honor to fight alongside') and respects for good reason, she stands against him, because in that moment, regardless of his status, he makes a call that she considers wrong. And he doesn't even... fight her on it very fiercely, and that's what actually hurts me the most, it's as if the following line hit the nail directly on the head?

"Besides, if you were really so determined to end it all, you wouldn't have given us the opportunity to share our opinions."

ARAM Preseason Update:

Hexgates will teleport you directly from your Nexus to your outer turret. Once the turret is destroyed, the Hexgate will then link to your team’s inhibitor turret.

When turrets fall, they now create new terrain.

There is a new bush on the bottom side of the lane.

Relationship status: Taken an oath to the Faith of Endless Cold. They may not take any other.

Opinion on true love: 'True love' isn't your soulmate, it is being completely devoted to an entity or a cause. It is to understand that there is nothing of greater importance in this world than to uphold it's continued existence and to give yourself, your life, and your purpose entirely to it.

Opinion on love at first sight: A natural occurrence when someone is smitten by looks, actions, or words. It will eventually wear off.

How 'romantic' are they?: Not incredibly, out of choice. Devan is aware that the nuances with flirting and courting exist, but they never had a need to put practice into them. Neither have they tried learning these skills to use to their advantage, or had them used of themself.

Ideal physical traits: Visibly strong, broadly built, and healthy both physically and well-groomed. Someone near or over their height is preferred, with no preferences for eye colour or hair - but long, well-maintained hair is a bonus. Battle scars with stories are too. Oh and of course being an Iceborn.

Ideal personality traits: Loyal, confident, selfless, has a dark sense of humour, enjoys battle, well-read or enjoys learning and sharing knowledge, and kind to children.

Unattractive physical traits: Being average height or shorter, weak, skinny, and looking like you've never seen battle. Anything that could make one be considered not 'humanoid' or not being human is an immediate no.

Unattractive personality traits: Greedy, cowardly, stupid, timid, soft-spoken. Not caring about hygiene, and believing to be and acting as the smartest person in every situation (hypocritical)

Ideal date: Hunting, riding across snowy fields, or exploring the Citadel library together.

Do they have a type?: Wise and powerful leaders or authority figures who are direct and have low tolerance for insolence, but are caring to those who are loyal.

Average relationship length: Outside of their oath, Devan has not been in a relationship. They were also too young to be in a relationship before they joined the Frostguard.

Preferred non-sexual intimacy: Tight hugs, bumping shoulders with friends when drinking and celebrating, and laughing together. Sharing each other's stories whether past or fantastical, brushing and tending to hair, and falling asleep around a fire or hearth together.

Opinion of public affection: It is not something seen - ever - in the Frostguard Citadel. The rare times they have seen it has been hand holding, being close to one another, or quick little pecks. These are viewed as cute as long as it isn't interrupting or getting in the way. If they saw anything more than this it would be annoying (and quietly wondering how someone could be so shameless.) They can't imagine being the one to show affection in public like this, however.
