Lewis Hill(Earth Name)

Lan-Vex(Kryptonian Name)

On Earth-622, unlike Clark, Lewis Hill grew up most of his life, normal. Grew up with good morals, raised by his father, Eric, a former Marine. The city they live in, Chesapeake City, wasnt like Gotham, but wasnt a Metropolis either. He never knew he was Kryptonian until one evening. A cop stopped him & his best friend Matt, when they were on their way home. The cop pulled the trigger because he heard trouble in the distance. But the bullet deflected off Lewis. He sped up to him, crushed the gun, grabbed his friend & super jumped away.

Of course he had to tell his father first, he always knew. In fact, he knew Superman. He knew his real father too, but not for the long. The only thing his father left for him, was a key with the symbol of the Kryptonian house he's from. The House Of Vex. Lewis also learned his Kryptonian name, Lan-Vex.

Lewis wanted to follow by Superman's example. After learning to get used to his powers, especially Super Hearing(but it wasnt as hard because of the city he lived in. He was used to loud sounds), he went on patrols in multiple places. Mainly on the East Coast. Matt sketched up ideas for a suit. One day, he apprehended a gang that tried to rob a local store.

A week later, he's on patrol in a few states up. Not much was going on in Chesapeake City, but Lewis heard a gunshot. He flew back & saw Matt dead, outside that same store. That night, asked the store owner what happened, after revealing his face. The gang he stopped was let out, because the law deemed him vigilante, so him stopping them instead of cops, didnt hold any weight(which I imagine happened in the DC or Marvel Universe at least a few times). The gang drove by, and their leader shot & killed Matt.

Then on, Lewis decided to kill criminals. A tough discussion Eric had with him, but told him if this was his choice, then after the 1st kill, come back home & process it. Lewis went on to shut down every criminal activity in the city, to back the gang into a corner. He got info along the way. And the citizens supported him.

The remaining crooks had their last base of operations, the main one. Lewis' initual suit was the one Matt designed(not the main suit here). He hunted them down, told teens that were there to leave(mainly one in particular because he was their neighbor's grandson). Every gang member was taken out, without Lewis going 100%(because if he did, he wouldve done serious damage to the surrounding area).

The boss that pulled the trigger was scared all of a sudden. Lewis realized that he did what he did not only for retaliation, but recognition for messing with a Kryptonian & living.

"....You thought you'd make a name for yourself, be a crime boss. But youre no Lex Luthor. And I am not Superman", Lewis says before letting the gang leader fall to his death & landed on his car.

The civilians saw that. Lewis told them to leave that building alone for a few days before turning it into something positive. Just in case any other crook tries making a power grab. A reporter wanted to interview him. Lewis reveals his face to everyone, tells the world that he will operate only on his home turf. If the whole Earth is in trouble, he'll help, if he's ever on another hero's turf, its their rules. Gives a brief speech that the crime in Chesapeake will end. He tells the world the name everyone should call him, Corvux, then flies off.

A few days later, Lewis visits Matt's grave, and Clark arrives(before that, he was handling hero work in space with the JL). Lewis knows why he's there, says he'll never change his mind & that Clark's ways dont work in Chesapeake. Clark would never condone Lewis' methods, but understands that they both may have raised on Earth with good morals, but Lewis grew up with a different outlook.

Before he leaves, he asks Lewis to promise him that he'll stand true to his rules. Rules that others may eventually may follow by his example. So Lewis may have to be a leader for them, even if he doesnt want to lead. And if Lewis goes rouge, Clark will stop him.

Lastly, Clark gives him the item necessary for his key & to make a mini-Fortress somewhere in Chesapeake.

house md fans are the fandom equivalent of scientists who have gone insane and start to blabber about what seems to be nonsense after their breakthrough discovery. and then they take you on a journey. Or you are curious as to how exactly they ended up this way and dig too deep. and suddenly, it's not gibberish anymore. Suddenly you need mouse bites to live. Suddenly it no longer vexes you. Suddenly you know for a fact it's not lupus.

i just finished watching season 3 of house. eric foreman is the best and most underrated character and i will not be taking questions on this.

like yeah, im a huge Big Three (house, wilson, cuddy) fan too, and the shipping aspect is obviously going to be the biggest thing people talk about (it’s tumblr) but if we can look beyond shipping for like one millisecond foreman is such an interesting character and i don’t see anyone talk about him!!!!! he’s an analytical ‘straight man,’ he’s friendly and desires human connection yet pushes people away the moment they start to get close. he doesn’t outwardly care about what people think yet still craves to be the best because if he’s not the smartest person in the room he’s worthless.

he’s morally grey. he’s pinned between his strong sense of justice and his desire for cold scientific problem solving. he’s primarily ethical yet not afraid to prioritize himself over others, even if callously. he has principles. he’s horrified at the side of his personality house brings out in him. he has a complicated relationship with religion and his family. he has imposter syndrome due to racism and classism in the medical community. he has internalized so many biases and when they show, it’s not pretty. he spends 3 seasons simultaneously loathing house and envying him. cameron wants to fix him, chase wants to be him, wilson (and cuddy) want to fuck him, but foreman? he wants to study this man like a lab rat. and possibly strangle him. he’s the ideological bridge between cameron’s ethics and chase’s fuck-all attitude. he tries so hard to be a healthy functioning adult and in many respects he succeeds but he will always be haunted by his chronic loneliness and inferiority complex (one which he hides well with his ego.) he’s just like house and he hates it. he’s a vindictive jerk, but he’s a really good person at heart. he tries very hard to be, anyways. and he’s the only one of his colleagues who actually took the initiative to stop enabling house and just quit. the others will bitch and moan about it but he was the one who actually prioritized his mental health over remaining psychologically obsessed with him. (will that last? no idea, i know he comes back later but shh. spoilers. him folding and coming back would be great though lol)

his character arc so far has been amazing and i hope seasons 4-8 do him justice 💥💥💥
