Musicals are time loops. Every night, the same thing happens except for a few minor differences. It always ends the same. If you want the characters to do something different or to make better choices, too bad. The actors are bound by the script and the score. The only way for the time loop to end is for the show to close. But you (the audience) don't want the show to close, nor do the actors who would like to be employed. It's a lose/lose situation. For the actors, audience, technicians, and for the characters, who are forever stuck in the same stretch of time.

this is insane what

one of the things I dislike about AI is how it also makes people suspect/question real artists/real writers if their works are AI generated.

it’s so discouraging for real artists and real writers to hear someone ask or suspect if a work they spent months (or years) working on, putting so much love and dedication into, are AI generated, done by soulless robots in less than one minute.

(it’s just as discouraging even if they didn’t spend months working on their works, because it is still something they created out of love and passion.)

if a real human-made art looks AI to you, that’s because AI was trained on human-made art and programmed to mimic human-made art.

if a real human-made fic reads like AI to you, that’s because AI was trained on human-made fics and programmed to mimic human-made fics.

I just love being a historical rpf writer because I'll stop writing to quickly fact-check the availability of pomade for a soldier during the American Revolution and fall down a rabbit hole where I learn

-a crude recipe for making apple-rose scented pomade

-the macaroni subculture and its effect on 18th century male gender expression

-a reference to said macaroni's in the song Yankee Doodle of all things

-all things not pomade and all things powder

-the apparent existence of colored powder which then prompted a mini rabbit hole into powder rooms

-remembering John Laurens powdered his hair and thinking about him + colored powder for a bit too long

-pomade being really good for curly hair

TLDR: I bought some pomade (lavender scented)

Guidelines

- This Exchange will be working under Eastern Standard Time (EST)

- Participants of the exchange must disclose their interest and prompts in the interest forms that will soon be created at the early of September

- You may not ask for a change when you receive the giftee’s prompts and must be respectful of their themes and preferences

- Please refrain from bashing other characters in your work

- Your theme could be about winter, Christmas or hanukkah (it's fine if you don't want to make it about the festivities, as long there's something related to winter)

- It is not allowed to discuss your prompts/assignments with any of your friends or followers on Tumblr

- Any questions or requests regarding the prompts must be made to the mods, and we will become the medium between you and your giftee.

- A reminder that this is a Hilson exchange event – which meant that all art and fics must be about them.

Drop-out

- The registration will be closed on the 31st of August 2025

- If you have any slight change of mind, please inform the mods.

- If you don’t think you could finish the assignments within the given time and decide to call it quits, please inform the mods before December.
