This looks like such a normal house. It looks like a development I once lived in. It was built in 2007 in Calhoun, Tennessee, but there's nothing ordinary about it. 3bds, 4.5ba, $424,900.

I was not expecting this. Do you see how the tile curves where it meets the wood? Interesting.

This is actually the kitchen.

Believe it or not, those 3 arches are the kitchen.

Check this out- they took the appliances, but if you want to go to the fridge, you go to the alcove on the left. To cook, you go to the one on the right where the stove is. Then, when it's time to load the dishwasher, that's in the middle pantry. How inconvenient is this? Running back & forth, in and out. What psycho designed this kitchen?

If you need water to cook, the sink is in here. I have never seen anything like this.

Double-sided fireplace so you can enjoy it in the kitchen and the living room. Stairs to the bedrooms are on the right.

I think that this is the primary bedroom. Is that a window above the double window?

The en-suite bath and closet.

The rooms are such odd shapes. What's up with the floor? Did they "pickle" it with white paint?

This room has a large deck.

Very large bath, too. Either the new owner has to take a toothbrush to that grout or have it redone.

The hallway has a bookshelf wall.

This bedroom seems to have a dance floor. What is that white tile? A pattern? Honestly, it looks like 1st base.

This is a very large space and you can walk right out to the yard.

There's a bathroom down here, also. Why do they put teeny tanks on the new toilets? They look out of proportion.

You can see from the back of the house that the ground floor is partially underground. There's a garage, but no driveway, just lawn.

The patio is attached to a 2 car garage.

The lighting on the ceiling is pretty cool.

This home and the neighbors are in a clearing and this particular home has 5.3 acres of land.

i had a eureka moment the other day and now i have a theory about potential killers and maps that may or may not come to the tcm game.

so yknow you have the radio/news broadcasts in the loading screen before a game, and they can sometimes be heard during gameplay. there is a lot of clues talking about crime that has happened within texas and especially in Newt or near it. this is where we know about johnny killing a college student and being attacked by her friends. they don’t say his name, but describe the killer as “late 20s, dark hair and eyes and multiple scars on his face and arms”. the devs confirmed this when they said how he got the scar on his arm.

we also got hints of nancy before her release in these broadcasts. strings of men dying in unknown circumstances and had poison in their system. this seems to fit nancy’s “black widow” characteristic and we know she has a hand for poison and hallucinogens.

this is when my theory comes in. surely when it comes to killers, not all can be part of the slaughter family. big families exist, but say the game does really well and it has years on running, getting new dlc third monthly. that becomes a lot. so why not open to have killers loosely related to the family but not blood related. neighbours, other insane families. what about the people the cook work with at the gas station? (seen in the movie, ie the guy that cleans the van), or maybe nubbins is part of a community of graverobbers that know each other?

here are potential characters and mals that might be in the game. sorry if i get names or details wrong, im doing it by ear:

martin wembley is mentioned in the broadcasts when his home was raided by police confiscating his animal jars. some were human remains, which he claims to not know about and thought it was “just regular animal stuff”. is this a potential killer? or someone buying nubbins’s weird oddities? either way, his hobby is questionable and can be linked to the family, especially nubbins. the broadcast ends saying he is held for questioning

a male body found near devil’s river off highway 163, SW texas, found by a hunter. this is also the location two female bodies were found supposedly a year before this event. all bodies have evidence of stabbing and strangulation. in gameplay nancy says “have you ever heard of devil’s river?” and i am guessing this is where nancy disposes unwanted bodies that johnny kills to ‘clean up his mess’, as the method of murder is very similar to his. devil’s river would be a very unique map and i hope we get more info about it.

there is also hints johnny may have been caught by police but let off due to lack of evidence. when cops followed a lead to a motel they found 36 year old Kelsy Keo (sp?) being subdued by a man ‘whos named is withheld’. it seems that he talked his way out of it, saying kelsy agreed to it during intimacy. he denied being the infamous killer that cops were looking for, and with the current timeline, it seems johnny was let off. could this kelsy be a potential new victim in game?

three youths are vandalising Lexington, TX. their work has been described as depicting ‘famine and the macabre’, similar to how the texas chainsaw massacre is described. authorities think 2 of the youths are sisters, but cannot confirm. could this be a possible duo that might be new characters? or is the string of animal bone vandalism painting a bigger picture to potential new maps?

justin austin is another name mentioned when he was arrested after a case of food poisoning was linked to his meat factory. he admits some of the meat was “tainted” by a rat infestation. he awaits trial for his carelessness and lack of food hygiene. could this hint to the slaughters possibly selling their meat is make ends meet? are there more people turning to cannibalism due to lack of resources and steady income like the family? with a game about cannibals, it’s hard to believe rats are causing this problem.

a high school dance was intruded by two men, Hackett Wayford and his son Grant and they attacked the teenagers with bladed weapons. the football team managed to tackle the men before they caused more harm. one boy who tackled them said they were “freak strong, like bulls or something”. they say nothing about their motives, but their mention of strength is interesting as it would make for good potential new killers. the use of freak also implies their strength was inhuman, so can the powder in game also be used as a performance enhancer later on for potential new killers? if it can give nancy visions, it’s not that far fetched.

“the terror of I40” is the murders committed by sissy on her hitchhiking journey from california to texas. it says it took place between 1971-1972 so in canon sissy returned to the family sometime in ‘72. with a razorblade, she attacked a man in his home but he was able to fight her off. sissy fled the scene, but the man never reported the incident right away for an unknown reason.

Hellum’s Ranch is a location mentioned when police arrived at the scene from a report about cattle abuse. instead, they found men dressed in white clothes and sun glasses poisoned and slumped in chairs. some where holding King James bible, which has association with the KKK. one man also held an item which the police described as a ‘manifesto’. it is unknown why these men poisoned themselves, but the police found large quantities of the substance in the area. is this ranch a potential new map, linked to a dark past? to me, i think this could lean more into a Jonestown situation than a KKK one. with the men holding bibles, poisoning themselves, wearing clothes similar to the Jonestown cultitist, it’s uncanny.

there is also a random mention of the Marfa Lights in the broadcasts. how this is linked idk how, considering the theories of them are linked to UFOS. Marfa, TX and its setting could be a new map in the future, but that’s the only thing i can think of.

Omar Parly (sp?) is a man mentioned for multiple offences in different counties. he spent 5 years in prison and continued crime after his release. his current whereabouts is unknown. potential new killer?

Gerrard Gaines found a burning truck on ‘his back forty’ (idk what this means sorry). on inspection he found the burnt body of an unidentified male and a large bag of money 30 feet away. i find this one VERY compelling as this man shares a surname with Danny. who is the unidentified man? why is there money? and is this man related to danny? if that’s danny in the car, and gerrard is related to him, is someone paying him for his troubles of losing a relative? if so, who? im completely stumped on this one and my assumptions are far fetched.

personal belongings are found to be linked to a missing couple, Tim and Tiara Divine. they disappeared during their roadtrip through the country of texas. their IDs where scattered near a river assumingly to be disposed of if they are previous victims of the slaughter family. since they are missing, maybe they are still alive and being held captive by the slaughters, hinting to potential new victims?

Protesters denounced the impacts of the soy transportation infrastructure

Indigenous leaders and organizations held a demonstration at COP29 in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, to denounce the impacts of the Ferrogrão railroad and other infrastructure projects in the Amazon. Held on Thursday (21), the protest happened in the event's Blue Zone, the pavilion where the official negotiations, working group meetings and plenary sessions of the climate conference take place. In this area, country representatives meet to discuss and negotiate agreements and make decisions. 

The 933-kilometer Ferrogrão railroad, aimed at transporting soybeans and corn, is due to be built between the cities of Sinop (Mato Grosso state) and Itaituba (Pará state), crossing through protected areas such as the Munduruku Indigenous territory. The railroad is part of a grain transportation system made up of the ports in the cities of Itaituba and Santarém and the BR 163 highway, where there is a heavy flow of trucks between the states of Mato Grosso and Pará.  

At the demonstration, which highlighted the socio-environmental risks of these projects, Alessandra Korap, an Indigenous leader of the Munduruku people, was the main voice at the event, reading a letter from the Tapajós River to the world. The document marked the end of the 7th Ancestral Cry of the Tupinambá People, in Pará, last weekend. In the letter, the river gains a voice to denounce the impacts of soy plantations in the Amazon. 

“In Praia do Mangue, one of the many Munduruku villages on my bank, soy dust infests the air and pollutes my waters. I’m also being threatened by the construction of dozens of dams and hydroelectric dams, and the fact that they ignore the impacts of this predatory action on me,” warns an excerpt from the document.

Unsolved Canadian Cases

These are cases of individuals who have gone missing in Canada but may not have enough information to be an entire case post of their own.

James David Kunuk

James David Kunuk was born in 1981 and was 34 years old at the time of his disappearance. He was last seen by family on September 21, 2016 in Whitehorse, Yukon, Canada. He was not reported missing until December 2016 by his landlord.

James had been living in downtown Vancouver, BC, but had recently moved to the Yukon and not yet unpacked his belongings. He did not take his wallet with him.

James did not contact his family for his birthday or over Christmas, which was unusual. Most do not think he moved again, however, he does have family in the Northwest Territories.

James uses multiple aliases including Jay Kunuk, Jimmy Miller, Jay David Springgay, Jimmy Kunuk, James Thrasher, Jeremiah McClusky.

He is Indigenous, 5'10 in height, 181 pounds with a medium build. He has short, straight black hair and brown eyes. He has two tattoos; one on his left forearm of a cross with the word "LIFE" and on his right arm of the word "THUG."

He would be 42 years old today.

Edward Joseph Arcand

Edward Joseph Arcand left his home in Coleman, Alberta driving a 1969 Ford Falcon station wagon on June 8, 1975. He has never been seen since.

On June 15, 1975, one week later, his vehicle was found abandoned 80 km north of Coleman on Highway 940. However, the Doe Network states his car was found in July 1975. Edward is Indigenous, 5'8 in height, 139 pounds with a medium build. Joseph has brown eyes and short black hair, last seen wearing a blue, denim jacket, red shirt and blue, denim pants.

Many speculated he could have been Septic Tank Sam, a man whose remains were discovered in a septic tank outside Tofield, Alberta in 1977. However, Edward was missing 6 teeth and Sam had all his teeth.

Septic Tank Sam would later be identified in June 2021 as a 26 year old Indigenous man named Gordon Sanderson, who had been murdered by a gunshot wound in 1976 or 1977.

Joseph had a hernia scar on his lower abdomen, a dark complexion, and no facial hair at the time. He was 27 years old at the time of his disappearance.

Joseph would be turning 76 years old in 2024.

Glenn Field

Glenn Field was 62 years old when he was last seen in April 2019 by a pilot flying over his campsite at Rolfe Lake, Northwest Territories. Glenn had flown to Rolfe Lake on September 13, 2018 to spend the winter living on the land.

He was then going to make his way back to Yellowknife, Northwest Territories in the spring of 2019. Glenn had three dogs with him and enough food to last the winter.

In October 2019, the RCMP Search and Rescue team did an aerial search of Rolfe Lake, but found no sign of Glenn.

Glenn is 5'10 in height, 170 pounds with grey hair and grey eyes. He has glaucoma and is missing one toe on his left foot and two toes on his right foot.

Glenn would be 67-68 years old in 2024.

Jean Gravel & Jean-Guy Champagne

Jean Gravel was 24 years old and went missing with his coworker Jean-Guy Champagne, who was 25, on July 6, 1972 in Trois-Rivières, Québec. Both men were employees of the Rio Bar in downtown.

Both arrived to work early in the evening to work the closing shift. Neither ever returned home and have not been seen since. They were reported missing on July 10, 1972.

Jean Gravel is described as being 5'8 in height, 139 pounds with brown eyes and hair. He was wearing yellow corduroy pants, a beige wool vest, leather black and white running shoes, a gold ring on his left finger, a necklace with assorted colours and a dark blue coat.

Jean-Guy Champagne was described as 5'11 in heigh, 163 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair. He was wearing a green cotton coat, white cotton shirt, green cotton pants, a watch that may have been "Timex" brand, a silver wedding ring on his left finger, black shoes that were size 10-10.5 and has a scar on his chin.

Monument Valley, AZ (No. 8)

Good question. Maps aren’t exactly ALL CAPS-ing its name. And part of the charm of Monument Valley National Park is its remoteness, about 60 miles west of the zero-dimensional Utah–New Mexico border on U.S. Highway 163. (You should probably go ahead and check Four Corners off your bucket list while you’re in the neighborhood.)

A 14-mile graded dirt road will show you around most of the major monuments — The Mittens, Three Sisters, John Ford’s Point, Totem Pole, Yei Bi Chai and Ear of the Wind. N.S. DNRR issue Friday evening update on wildfires as total drops to 11

With a swath of wildfires burning across Nova Scotia, the province’s Department of Natural Resources and Renewables (DNRR) has issued a Friday evening update on the status of the fires.

In Shelburne County, the fire at Barrington Lake has now reached a record growth of 23,015 hectares -- the equivalent of 230 square kilometres.

About 90 DNRR firefighters, along with more than 40 volunteer and municipal crew members, are on the scene of the fire. That’s in addition to five helicopters, a water bomber from Newfoundland and Labrador, and other heavy equipment.

In Shelburne, a fire on Lake Road remains out of control at an estimated 114 hectares. Fifteen DNRR firefighters are responding to the fire.

In Yarmouth County, a fire in Pubnico remains out of control, covering 163 hectares. The province says 20 DNRR firefighters are on scene.

More air and heavy equipment resources are also being coordinated to battle the three wildfires on Nova Scotia’s South Shore.

Meanwhile in Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM), the Tantallon fire remains 50 per cent contained but is still out of control at an estimated 950 hectares. Firefighters on scene include 40 from DNRR, 100 from HRM, and nine from the Department of National Defence. Five helicopters are also involved in the efforts, as well as an N.L. water bomber.

The province says containment efforts in the Tantallon fire include dozer breaks, natural breaks and nearby highways.

A fifth fire, located in nearby Hammonds Plains, is 100 per cent contained. Ten HRM volunteer firefighters are on scene, where the fire is holding at four hectares.

Four wildfires were extinguished Friday in Annapolis, Cumberland, Halifax and Kings counties, bringing the number of active wildfires in Nova Scotia down to 11.

If we're talking about weird paths and their opposites, how about path 182, where shadow is neutral but decides to help charmy once and gets caught up with the chaotix, then you have its mirror, path 145, where the neutral shadow flashbacks on prison island and destroys the G.U.N. robots before continuing neutrality and black doom is for some reason convinced that this means shadow works for him and in the end shadow is just like, "Fine, i'll be your soldier, yeesh."

Brazil Amazon district engulfed by soy: From being a quiet place to becoming a huge grain port

With four ports and a flux of almost 2,000 trucks per day, the Amazonian district bears the impacts of agribusiness

Located on the side of the BR-163 highway, the district of Miritituba, in the town of Itaituba, in the Brazilian northern state of Pará, is a strategic point on the soybean route from Mato Grosso to the foreign market. Thousands of trucks arrive there every day to unload goods at Cargo Transshipment Stations (ECTs, in Portuguese), large areas made up of yards, silos and ports installed on the banks of the Tapajós River. They can handle up to 18 million tons of grain a year.

A consequence of soy transportation is that the district's residents are left to deal with the damage, such as accidents caused by trucks, dust, noise pollution and environmental impacts. “It starts with a rip in the forest, on the riverbank, and then you see structures being erected,” says Ivaneide Lima, a teacher and resident of the district, about the arrival of ports that serve agribusiness companies.

Miritituba was born in the 1970s as an agro-village where residents were dedicated to family farming. There are no soybean plantations in the region, but the impacts caused by grain logistics are part of everyday life and can be seen in the water, the forests and the streets.

“From Miritituba to Itaiuba, you used to see 20 or 30 botos [Amazon River dolphins]. Today, try to find at least one…” says real estate agent Josenaldo de Castro.
