Seungmin bit his lip, debating going after you or not. You rushed out of the room in a hurry and haven't returned yet which made him worry that something was wrong. Just as he decided to go check up on you he bumped into you in the doorway.

He gently grabbed your wrists and immediately scanned you for any injuries, breathing out a sigh of relief when he found nothing.

"Is something wrong? You left kinda suddenly."

"Oh." He drops his eyes to the ground, rocking back and forth on his heels. You sip your water and watch as your boyfriend's cheeks turn pink.

"Do you need anything?"

You shake your head as a smile pulls at your lips.

"I have everything I need, thank you though."

As soon as you place your cup in the sink you feel two arms gently wrap around your waist.

"Does it hurt?" He asks as he leaves a small kiss to your shoulder.

You let out as a sigh as you lean into him.

"My stomach does but its not horrible since I just started."

"I just need to put some heat on it and i'll be fine."

"Is this too hot?"

You take the hot pack from Seungmin and place it on your stomach, pulling up your shirt a little so that it can rest against your bare skin.

You give your worried boyfriend a reassuring smile and shake your head.

"Its perfect. I feel much better already."

You lean your head back and rest against the pillow, letting the heat deal with the cramps and help lure you to sleep.

Seungmin finally feels the tension leave his body as he sees you relaxing on the couch, happy that he was here when your period started.

But now that you're taking a nap he has no clue what he's going to do. He doesn't want to leave the room in case you wake up and need something....

Maybe he'll just lie with you. A nap wouldn't hurt.

He carefully climbs into bed and wraps his arms around your waist, chin resting over the heating pack. He sits there with his chin propped up and unconsciously smiles as he watches you sleep.

And with a gentle peck to your stomach, he snuggles against you and drifts off to sleep

For those who don’t know me, my name is Alaa. I’m a husband and a father from Gaza, and I’m so grateful to be raising two beautiful children, Maram, our lovely 6-year-old daughter, and Ayman, our energetic 3-year-old boy. We are also eagerly anticipating the arrival of our third child, a baby girl, who is due in just a couple of months. That said, choosing a name is the least of our worries right now. The reality of preparing for our baby’s arrival in the middle of a war is overwhelming. We have no baby clothes, no mattress, and with the current war, basic necessities like diapers and baby formula have become unaffordable for us.

I’m thrilled and thankful that we’re expecting a new addition to our family, but as a father, the fear and worry about how we’ll care for her, along with our two other children, are constant. We are displaced from our home, I’ve lost my job, and our savings have run out. Every day, I wonder how I will protect and provide for my family in these impossible circumstances.
