I've had this silly lil guy for a week and istg I'd go to war for him.

He lives on my shoulder now it's like non negotiable (to my bf's hysterical delight). He goes grocery shopping with me, I took him to Denny's, he fell into a snowbank with me and survived. He is the epitome of non-toxic masculinity. He’s unafraid to touch and publicly be affectionate with people, man and woman alike. He’s unafraid to be vulnerable, to collapse in Mel’s lap and be held. To admit when he’s wrong and fucking apologize. And of course, to be the little spoon. He’s just such a soft hearted man, and he doesn’t let anything make him feel ashamed of that, even when many try—he’s called boy so many times in the show, it’s asinine. So many people equate his softness with immaturity, with weakness, but it’s not. I’d argue that a man who is unafraid to love— and do so without restraint—is a force to be reckoned with. In fact Jayce is firmly in my top five list of men that I’d choose instead of the bear. He’s not number one though. That honor goes to Bob Belcher. 🍔
