Thorin WIP

I think I’ve kind of figured out how to draw him. Hopefully, did this instead of paying attention to my Physics class (I’m so cooked since I have a test this Friday).

Summary: Bilbo has been consort under the mountain for 20 years now and he justs wants a measly 6 months with his husband to go on the honeymoon they never made it to all those years ago.

Bilbo wants to hold Thorin's hand as they walk through th Shire, to show him where he came from, why is that to much for one hobbit to ask for?

“I know Erebor is important to you, Thorin, but I’m supposed to be important too. You swore to me.” Thorin’s face softened. That ever-familiar look of regret and guilt had settled in his eyes. He reached out across the table, trying to grab Bilbo’s hand, his touch gentle but firm. “You are important to me. I love you Ghiveshal. I swear, this is the last time. Next time, nothing will stop us.” Bilbo, however, yanked his hand away as if Thorin's touch burnt. “Next time. Always next time,” he bit out, turning his back to Thorin, unable to look at him anymore. Not now. Not when all he wanted to do was scream and cry and demand an answer to why he had to keep feeling like this, like he was always second best. Like he would always be second best to that mountain and all the things inside it. All he’d asked for, in all the years they’d been together, was half a year. Six months maximum. A season. Was that too much to ask? Was it too much to want to go back to the Shire, to show his homeland to his husband, to share the green fields and quiet woods, the winding paths and cosy nooks? To show him what a life could be like that wasn’t all stone and iron, a life that wasn’t always about duty and responsibility?

Heliotrope - Flower that symbolizes eternal love

Wooo finally a wip that i actually coloured and rendered!! Still not over the fact that summer ended and i think that this piece reflects that lmao (tho it gives off more spring vibes) This sort of lighting was so fun to draw, definitely going to use it again.

The Newcomers in Doriath - When visitors come to Menegroth for the first time in his young memory, young Thranduil is eager to catch a glimpse of them - so he sneaks out of bed to watch the welcome feast. Long Fic

The Pride of the Greenwood - After the sinking of Beleriand, Thranduil follows his parents' expedition to relocate the survivors of Doriath to Greenwood the Great. Oropher once knew their king, Lenwë, but it has been more than two thousand years since they've spoken. Searching for Lenwë, hoping for his help, the Sindar instead meet Rauwen, a young Silvan leader who is skeptical about welcoming the Sindar into her beloved forest. As the Sindar and the Silvans negotiate sharing space, sparks will fly - but will someone get burned? (WiP but will be a long fic, rated M (might change) (Thranduil x OFC Rauwen). Ao3 Link
