“Give me this or I’ll play a prank on you! ♪” A moonlit night. Rouge, the bewitching female bat, appears at the Master Emerald’s altar after attacking Knuckles in his sleep. …Actually, it seems that she has already played a prank on him…? ★ It’s almost Halloween. Watch out for the creepy bats!

In Sonic Adventure 2, Rouge had stolen the Master Emerald from Knuckles’s place, but this time she unashamedly robbed him eye to eye. It seems that Rouge had made elaborate preparations, such as using the Dark Chao, whom she had tamed with sweets, as her henchmen, and bandaging the sleeping Knuckles. Anyway, this situation doesn’t make sense to question, after all, since on top of pranking him, she’s trying to take the Master Emerald as well… Perhaps such a situation is also very Rouge-like. ★

[Which of Rouge’s charms shall we show?] Comical yet frank cool-headedness, serious and strong, mature sexiness… in fact, Rouge has several attractive “faces.” This time, since it is Halloween, we went for an adult mode.

After Danny is crowned Ghost King, Amity Park becomes detached from the mortal realm and is suspended between the two realms, much like Danny is. In an effort to combat this isolation from the rest of the world, Danny opens up his castle to the residents of Amity. (Not his Lair, just the castle he earned via conquest.)

Now the castle is more like a community center, and it’s constantly filled with both humans and ghosts coming and going. The Amity Parkers are already liminal, so visiting the Zone is actually healthy for them! The school takes the kids on regular field trips, ghost vs. human competitions get very heated, and overall everyone bonds over their shared freakiness and comes to terms with the fact they’ll never venture out into their world ever again.

But just because they’re detached from their world, doesn’t mean the residents of Amity can’t visit other worlds. :)

And it just so happens that their new community castle is filled to the brim with magic doors and ancient treasures to help aid on their noble quest of inter-dimensional grocery shopping.

After a trial, anyone who was involved in the riots has been found guilty of treason: a verdict that is punishable by death. On the night before the prisoners are to be hanged they were being transported from the prisons to Lorcan where the executions were to take place.

During the trials, it was discovered that the leader of the riots was a man who lived in the villages there and Roderick wished to send a message to all of Astaira but, especially, the citizens of Lorcan and squash any feelings of rebellion that may have stirred. The prisoners were to be hanged upon the battlements atop the castle walls -- where their bodies were to stay until they rotted away. Performing the executions at Lorcan castle would also deter any acts of rebellion during the event, as Lorcan is one of the hardest fortresses to breach in the world.

During the transportation of the prisoners, a great thunderstorm hailed down upon them. Their guards sought shelter in a tavern in the village of Lorcan. The captains of the guards went inside to get warm, while a few guards keep watch over the caged prisoners.

Inside, FINN CALLEARY is gambling with the locals and entices the guards to join him, hoping to take their coin. It is his sister, FIONA CALLEARY, who has come to collect him who realizes that these guards are here to transport the prisoners and if there was ever a time to help them escape, it is now.

She tells her brother to distract them as long as possible -- even if that means loosing everything he has on him, while she risks her own safety to ride through the storm to the resistance's camp, where RONAN FROST, CILLIAN FROST, ISOLDA VANE, and KALE BRENNAN are ready to jump into action. Using the weather to their advantage, they are able to disarm the guards and take control of one of the armored wagons that is holding fifteen prisoners. Time, however, was not on their side and they were discovered before they could escape with the prisoners who were still trapped in the other barred carts.

While the guards searched the village and the surrounding forests for those who had escaped, the resistance, with the help of the two Callearys, head in the direction which no one had excepted: towards Lorcan castle, itself, where the Callearys were able to smuggle in the prisoners into the hidden fortress in the mountains below -- where they still remain to this day.

The prisoners who did not escape were hanged at dawn.

While RODERICK VARMONT puts out a search party for the missing prisoners, both FINN and FIONA must keep them safely in the mountain until they are able to smuggle them out again -- wondering if they should risk putting EABHA, AINE, and the LORCAN sisters in danger by confiding in them that they are there ...

It is the witching hour in the upside-down old castle. A hedgehog, the blue steel reaper, appears with a companion. At Eggman’s whim, Hang Castle is now full of Halloween spirit, but Metal Sonic’s spirit is the same as usual… or even more so?! 🎃

The funniest thing this Nikke event could do is, after all is said and done, someone asks Commander how they dealt with Simulator Syuen following their "heroic sacrifice" and we get a flashback of Commander flirting with fake Syuen which makes her short circuit and explode.

Frank: Yeah. Blowin' off steam before we do anything together, ya know? Helps with the tension.

On those nights when Morgan was still a very young baby and lying in his crib (and he was never quiet by nature, he's a combination of Howl and Sophie, you can only expect a walking hurricane of chaos), he would, as is typical of all babies, often scream in the night. It was very rarely a request to be fed or the cause of any pain: both parents quickly discovered that he was just waking up in the middle of the night and wanted to be naughty.

Therefore, it was usually Howl who went up to calm him down. Not because he wanted to, by any means: no one wants to get up in the middle of the night for a screaming baby, and he could have slither out of that, too, if he wanted to, but Sophie started cursing at him and forcing him out from under (their shared, mind you!) blanket. And maybe, just a little bit, he really wants to be a good father - unusual, stupid and cowardly, but still a good father.

Normally, Howl would just lean over the crib and start singing the one and only lullaby in Welsh that he remembers from his childhood: people love to sing lullabies in their own language, no matter how widespread it is. I love to remember how many Ukrainian lullabies have survived precisely because of how often they were sung at night from the heart of a parent's love.

Sophie didn't understand a word of it, but it worked surprisingly well: Morgan was falling asleep in seconds, and she found herself beginning to drift off to sleep as well. Howl would come back to bed looking like a winner, and Sophie wondered how he managed to do it every time with the same song. Especially in a language that was rarely spoken in Morgan's household: it was easier to speak English when both the child's father and mother knew it.

There were also days when Sophie was given the "honour" of calming her son. Usually, it was when Howl came home drunk from a rugby meeting or had some late-night work commitments. There were, of course, times when Sophie simply decided that she loved him enough to let Howl keep his precious sleep for one or two days.

Then she would sing a lullaby that she had inherited from her mother, which she remembered through her father, but now they were both dead, so, well, the song was rightfully hers. It certainly wasn't the mysterious Welsh notes, and it took Morgan a little longer to fall asleep, but Sophie must have been a good singer because it worked in the end. She returned to the sleeping Howl, thinking that, after all, she had two children. One is not even a year old, the other is a couple of years away from turning thirty.

One day, she decided to ask him what the lullaby he was singing was all about, and when Howl shared the translation, they were both surprised to find that the two texts had quite similar motifs: they both featured a shooting star, ancient fields, and stormy winds. Howl joked that shooting stars would never let him go, not as a child, not now.

The most interesting twist to this lullaby story came when, at around 1+ years old, Morgan started adding Welsh words to his vocabulary as he learned to speak, mixing languages. Howl thought this was a great addition: after all, not all people in Wales speak Welsh, let alone boys from parallel worlds. Sophie was not so optimistic: she was certainly happy that their child was learning new words and picking up his second native language quickly, but she did not want to ask for a translation of what her own son was saying, not even from Howl, and certainly not from Ben.

Howl assured her that with age he would learn to distinguish between them and that English would come to the fore, willy-nilly: again, there were barely two people in his environment who knew Welsh, even if he visited Megan often. Sophie would like to understand him right now, but for now she just has to accept the moments when her son points to an object and makes an incoherent set of sounds, and Sophie has to guess whether it is just childish chatter or just another Welsh word.
