Frank: Most of our meetings still end in fights.

Matt: That's just how it is. We … like it that way.

Frank: I'd take 'im to the beach. A secluded one, where we'd not be disturbed. I think it'd be nice for his sensory input, y'know?

Do you do anything for Halloween? Decorate the home or Matt's office, wear costumes, spend the night following kids trick or treating to make sure they're safe...?

Matt: We're invited to the yearly Nelson Halloween party. Costumes and attendance not optional.

Frank: Not that anyone'll care after the first hour. That's what I got from Christmas last year.

Matt: You're not wrong. A lot of whiskey will go around. It always does.

Frank: Hope whiskey'll go 'round the scum out there as well. Don't wanna shoot drunk.

Matt: I asked Danny and Colleen to keep an eye on things. It will be fine.

Frank: If ya say so.

have you ever been away from each other for duty? how does it feel?

Frank: It's a weird question.

Matt: Yes. It's not like we are enlisted—not that I could enlist, even if I wanted to.

Frank: Yeah, and I'm done with that. And we ain't cops, either. We don't have a duty in that sense.

Matt: But of course we've been away from each other. We're frequently apart. Frank tends to run all over the US to … do what he does.

Frank: And thanks to Red's day job, he can't follow and annoy me.

Your job? Use at least one of these prompts to create at least one fanwork! You can combine several prompts in one work, use the same prompt for several works… The one hard and fast rule is to respect your giftee’s squicks!

Please get in touch with your giftee anonymously if only to let them know someone is creating something for them, and of course if you have any question :-)

What types of fanwork? Here’s what you can do: Gifsets (6 gifs min), Fanfic (1,000 words min), Fanmix (6 songs + cover min), Fanvid (1 minute long min), Graphics / Fanart, needle art, podfic.

What’s the timeline? Signups until Sep 4 (your time zone is fine), prompts sent around a day or two after that (depending on your time zone), fanworks due OCT 28 in the AO3 collection if you're using AO3, and must be submitted to Tumblr. AO3 collection revealed on Halloween! If you have a scheduling issue please get in touch with the blog, we can probably work something out ^_^ And you will be able to post on the dedicated AO3 collection earlier since it will be kept unrevealed until D-Day- aka Halloween! Yes, you can go wild on bats and zombies if that's your jam ;-)

Matt: We rarely argue, especially over small things. It's just not important.

Frank: But we do argue.

Matt: If you weren't so hellbent on killing people, we wouldn't argue.

frank, tell me, did you have any awkward moments when you forgot about matt's blindness?

Matt: Frank is currently out—I don't want to know what he is doing. So let me answer that question as he wouldn't be honest anyway and would beat himself up over little mistakes. Truth be told, Frank is one of the most considerate people I have ever met. He will always make sure to put things back where they belong, he never thinks that I'm not blind because of my senses. But he also knows what I can and can't do, so he doesn't coddle me. Yes, sometimes he makes mistakes. Sometimes he drops his stuff where he stands when he is tired, and because I'm used to things being a certain way in my own apartment, I will stumble over his things. But it's never malicious and he always apologizes profusely and vows to do better.

do you go on dates to crowded places, like a restaurant? or do you prefer something where you can stay just the two of you?

Matt: Crowded places would be quite risky. Most people don't recognize Frank, because they're more focused on the skull on his chest, but we don't want to risk it.

Frank: And as much as Red says that he loves his city, it's often too loud for him. So we don't want to make his sensory input worse by going to well-frequented restaurants, you know?

Matt: We sometimes do go out, though. We found this little Italian hole-in-the-wall place that always has a table for us in the back. They know who Frank is, I overheard them talking in the back, but they don't mind.

Frank: Hope they don't. Saved their asses about a year ago from the Maggia.

Matt: A lot of people mind having a murderer in their restaurant, regardless of if said murderer saved them at one point.

Frank: You're dating a murderer.

Matt: That's not the same!

Frank: No, it's arguably worse. And now eat your pasta.

What’s your fannish ID? Just li'l, ol' @askfratt on Tumblr. Chose the name, 'cause it's a Fratt ask-blog, so no cool story there.

What types of fanworks do you create? I make li'l sketches with Matt and Frank as chibis to answer asks. It's something to fill a few minutes when I have the time and need to feel calm. It's just a fun, li'l side project that I can do without thinking too much, which doesn't take much work, and which brings me happiness.

What are your favourite types of fanworks, when you’re not creating? Everything, really. I like looking at art—may it be gifs, videos, or classic fanarts. And I love reading fics before going to sleep or right after waking up to start my day. Even if I don't vibe with certain things, it makes me happy to see that other fans have fun creating and keeping the fandom alive.

What do you like in particular about this fandom? Well. I'm obviously very drawn towards Fratt. Ehem. I consume everything about them that tickles my fancy when I'm not busy creating for them myself.

Do you like participating in fan events? I do love fan events! But this is a side-blog and just a li'l fun project, so I won't be participating in events as askfratt. But I sure as hell will cheer on everyone who does!

What about your creating process? For this particular blog it's actually quite different from my usual process. It's when I'm right between too overwhelmed and not too overwhelmed and exhausted to do something, but I have just enough energy to put in about 30 minutes of throwing out a sketch. I don't need to think for this blog, I can just churn out a li'l sketch in less than half an hour and post it for happy chemicals in my brain.

Do you interact a lot with other fans? No, this is a very self-contained blog that only interacts with others via asks and through the characters.

Is there any particular piece you'd like to showcase for this post? Oh. I forgot about this question. Well, as I only answer asks with li'l sketches, I don't have anything in particular that I want to show off. Sorry about that!

Do you have other fandoms you'd like to talk about? I tend to stick to one fandom at a time, so no.

Where can your fanworks be found? Only on @askfratt on Tumblr! Is there anything else you want to tell us about yourself? Not really, no. I'm a very boring person in general, so there's nothing else of interest after filling out this cross-examination. ;)
