A shortcut!#Now imagine for a sec trying to get through a parkcore + miros bird gauntlet with a corpse and a worm within 5 cycles#before the scav ran out of karma and you were stuck inside forever. Yeah#Besides that tho I've been messing around and been very tenderly modding the game.#Turns out you can have a bit of fun with most sprites without too much effort by simply cloning the MSC mod in your files#Then changing the copy's mod info so it doesn't clash and simply swapping images out for whatever you want#As long as you have the sprite name you can do this. You can also change region names and decals and music all sorts of stuff.#In short I've been brewing a custom mod for a friend to make her suffer as much as possible <3#Thanks to a buddy on the rw server for showing me that trick btw lol. The best cesspool I've ever participated in#Oh before I forget- the symbol on CW's head is completely made up. They just looked so... Bald.#Tbh I wasn't expecting their personality to be so... bright? Most interpretations make them kinda solemn and gloomy#But nah this CW is what NSH should've been 100%. I like them. Not gonna spoil too much but their situation is somehow so... chill.#Still bad tho!#Other fun news! There's a scammer going around on discord that's basically like ''bad news I reported you for fraud''#And they're getting a lot of people. #rookreveal#she went thru sm changes#dragon age#datv#dragon age the veilguard#dragon age veilguard#datv spoilers#kinda?? just screenshots#pippa tag#might post the biggest infodump ever of her soon#long post#ok infodump my MOURNWATCH WARRIOR GIRLYYYYY her name is phillippa but pippa but pip for short#rook because shes very much a go straight and attack type character#was found by 3 spirits in the crypts and is quite literally ice age baby. they brought her to the watch#raised by a very elderly couple then went into the watch. still is friends with the 3 spirits. when one of the couple died she ran away#it was a bad time in the city streets and came back later after being found#was tasked a lot with being in the lowest level of the crypts because. crypt baby. elf (can see in the dark). warrior. spirits like her#this caused her to be trapped in the necropolis constantly... and was left starving and in the dark a lot.#would survive thanks to spirit pals. bugs. and flora#had black eye whites for a time from being underground also#anyways her spirit pals got corrupted and destroyed and saved her in relation to the precursor to the war of banners#in her rage she did a whole rebellion. saved the day. had nobody left. to top it off was kicked out#varric found her sobbing and crying with snot and everything cause she knows nothing about the surface.#they played a game of chess and hes like come join my band and shes like ok.......#and yeah then veilguard happens. she takes being a leader seriously so she takes hard decisions seriously#stern angry muscle punch lady but also if not threatened shes funny laid back and kind#she also never sleeps. why is her room so bright. so she spends every night in the dining room by the fire and chats with lucanis#(been watching boston legal so very much like the ends of those episodes where they chat on the porch)#her best friend i gotta say DOES end up being lucanis. and in my playthrough yes she romanced him but even if she didnt theyd still be bffs#shes close with everyone to be fair

Karen has four older brothers and this is Ross! He's the second oldest and he looks rather polite and smiles a lot and when he's at work he can behave most of the time... but he really has such a foul mouth it puts Right to shame.
And Karen when she was a kid couldn't pronounce S's and they sounded like Z's. So when her brothers would be leaving for school she would say "enjoy zool" and just. Could NEVER say Ross's name correctly so he told her to just call him Oz. And it stuck but only with Karen. She's the only one to use it and no one else is allowed.

i have learned that the big feelings spike when i’m sick
#vari posting#two nights ago it was the shame#last night it was general hurt#tonight it’s. dysphoria????? for the first time in years????#idk i’m fem presenting. i’ve always been fem presenting except when i was forced into a masc position#not gonna get into it#but yeah. i gave up on correcting my name and pronouns because i wear skirts and like makeup and stuff#also just. i realized i actually do care when people fuck up#i do in fact not enjoy being a woman#like i’m having non binary feelings. and that shouldn’t feel that crazy considering i came out just under four years ago#i kind of just got hit with the fact that i’m still trying to conform#when it’s clear that even if i DO conform i’m not gonna be accepted into society so why not own it#and like. i hate to say this but i’ve been considering experimenting with other pronouns again#i’ve been solid they/them for. literal years#thought i was a man for a while but definitely not#i’ve just been vaguely fem nb for a while but. just because i like doing that stuff doesn’t mean i’m actually on that part of the spectrum#i’ve been saying i’m genderfluid for a long time#but that was also when i was Hallucinating so i discounted it#i was solid on my identity until now so that was why#so i’m either fluid or more masc than i thought#which. pretty sure i’m solidly in the middle#i hate being solely referred to with he/him#but if someone is using he/him offhandedly it feels kinda nice?????? but not from specific people#i think that’s just the trauma though#yeah anyways i’m not gonna put he/they in my bio#it’s a situational thing#i prefer it to she/her but if someone calls me a he constantly it gets old#see this is why i used neos before i was bullied out of them#anyways 100% nb. i get so much joy out of having a deep voice lmaooo#like hearing ‘vari what gender are you i seriously can’t tell’ makes me happy

#ive been going by jay online since i was 13 irl since i was 15/16 and my mum cant get used to it#me my friend and both our mums hung out last week and i heard my mum telling his mum 'i just cant get used to [their] name. they want to be#called /jay/ but i just cant do it' literally everyone else including my brother and my dad uses my chosen name#apart from when theyre around my mother! because her force of disgust is definitely more important than my agency and want to be called by#my own name... i have been thinking about wanting to be called another name like. interchangably with my name#and i think id go with yasha. its the diminutive of jay so like. if we friends i want to be yasha x#but also realising how much i want to have autonomy over my name came from picking a name in 2021 for practise in chinese#and my friend helping me decide between something that sounds similar (林植 cos the first character kinda sounds like my eng surname) and a#more literal translation where i was like the translation of jay is 松鸦 i could use that haha and she went but the 鸦 character is awful#you could be 松雅! its then a pun and makes me sound fancy. and i was so happy just making choices and getting to like#pick my own name that peoplw could use. really a revelation. anyway i was kinda on hold for a bit living at home but now im freer hearing#her go on that 'jays choice of name is so hard on me' rant really made me..... start thinking and reminiscing about my name. and me. u know#jay wasnt even my choice its just my initials that i started going by as like. plausible deniability that i wanted to change my name#i remember thinking more about it when i was younger and deciding against other names Specifically because it would be easier to go#'its just my initials!' yeah. im 25 is it too late to change names#sorry for long rambly disjointed rant. hope this was enlightening if u made it this far

hi update as of an hour ago i have a THERAPIST!!! an actual licensed therapist!!!! we have our first session on monday 😭💗

Grounded in a way i wasn’t expecting from the website lol but i rly can’t wait for our first session 🥹💕 im a#little nervous bc i was trying to shop around for therapists and do consultation calls w a bunch of them and she’s the first one i reached#out to bc i just liked her vibe a lot (and her practice’s name is super cute omg.. hint -> 🍇) but the other counselors i reached out to#turned me down bc of my schedule not being during regular work hours and meanwhile she was like yeah my hours are flexible specifically to#accommodate ppl in ur situation! which was so good to hear 😭 and she kinda automatically assumed we’re working together from the call but i#not mad abt it at all and i went with it. im rly hopeful abt it and kinda nervous but she said my issues are like a perfect fit for her#and that just in hearing me talk she can tell how thoughtful / introspective / whatever i am abt it and that her approach is to balance the#introspection and the emotion.. and SHE interpreted (CORRECTLY! and i forgot to even name it!) that constantly hoppping between clinical#interns waa probably very disruptive and plays into all my stress abt transitions and i was like YES thank you 😭 and she said she’s#committed to like long stable rs with clients so they can rly heal and get all the benefits out of it. and she also gave this whole big#speech abt how she doesn’t want $ to be a barrier to access for healthcare and i was like patrick voice i love you. lolllll 🥹 im excitedddd#i want her to send the intake forms RIGHT now i can’t wait to fill them out! hehe :’~D

#keese draws#oni posting#first two are from the main rat universe#long story short a while after founding gravitas olivia was like ok so I think me being your boss in our company that we spend most of our#days at has left our relationship in a place that I’m uncomfortable with so we’re getting a divorce now sorry#and jackie proceeded to throw a fit abt that for several years until she got fired over it#in another petty act she tried to break back in to steal some of the work she had done there but got caught#and unfortunately for her during the past several years olivia has been slowly having mere morals broken down piece by piece by the allure#of progress and by the time she did her breaking and entering scheme olivia was far past the point of being ok with kidnapping#the second two are the rabbit universe girlies and they’re less openly hostile with eachother but they still are bad for eachother#they’ve known eachother since childhood and jackie has basically been using olivia as a therapist since they were teens#this lead to them developing an increasingly unhealthy codependent relationship where olivia ends up acting incredibly irresponsibly as#director of gravitas due to her being so stressed and paranoid about jackie all the time#and the third two are the raccoon au which is basically just jackie being too scared of rejection to put her work under her name so she#asks olivia to take credit for it which she does and she ends up getting all the credit and praise for a lot of the early work at gravitas#this combined with jackie’s constant worshipping of her slowly began to lead to it kinda getting into her head#and jackie was also letting it get to her head and eventually her ambition got the better of her and she ended up attacking olivia#now these are all just the basic concepts I currently have these aus are all still in the concept stages#for example I’m still figuring out how I wanna involve the other scientists and if I switch their roles around too#but yeah I’ve been thinking abt these guys lately so they get drawn 👍#oh also fun fact these aus are inspired by the scrapped content back when olivia was jodi#which is why I characterize these two a bit differently then I might if I was leaning more towards my normal stuff#theyre characterized more closely to old jackie and jodie including origin story wise

But uurgh... UUUUUGH So I've always thought that R. Marie kinda likes keeping her full name a secret, just cuz its not really necessary for anyone to know and of course, R. Marie sounds much more intimidating. But of course, Cortex would want to know what the "R" stands for, and I'm sure he'd be persistent in pestering her about it as often as he could get away with, until finally she snaps and gives in. She'd probably just blurt it out in the middle of him asking yet again, like "It's RUBY, alright?!? My first name is Ruby. Are you satsfied?!" before she storms off in a huff (which is definitely to hide her blush).
Cortex would probably just stand there for a moment or two, letting this new info sink in for a moment. And then for the rest of the day, he'd just keep repeating her name to himself. Even while working on blueprints and machines, he'd just keep repeating it under his breath, and I guarantee he'd have the MOST dumb lovestruck grin the whole time, would probably play with his hair a bit too UGH 💀💖💖 After waiting so long to know what it was... he'd just like how it feels to say 💀💀💖💖💖💖

Windy at my house + power flickering = no comm work = quick laptop doodle
